MUA New Hide & Conceal Cover Up Stick Review

"A NEW Formula... our NEW Hide and Conceal Sticks in three colours- Fair,Natural and Almond. A creamy, easy to use new and improved formula to cover any blemishes or skin imperfections."

Hello my beauties :) :)
I hope you are all well :)
After my not so good but not so bad review on the MUA's Brush on Concealer pen I decided to try out the New Hide & Conceal Cover Up Stick This time to see what it was like.  Now I am not a big fan of Concealer sticks as such as a tried a few when I was in secondary school along time ago now and never had a great experience with them (maybe it was partly to do with the fact I had no idea how to apply them properly) but they always seemed to cake on me but seeing as I am a little more knowledgeable about makeup I decided after so many years to give it a lash :)
There is 3 shades available:  Fair, Natural and Almond
They only cost £1 each which is about 1.50 euro
Bargain even at that price but does it actually do what it claims?

So I decided I would try out the middle shade which is "Natural" as I heard from a few bloggers that the shades on this concealer was lighter than the Brush on Concealer Pen.

The concealer comes in a lipstick type packaging.  It even looks like a lipstick when you twist it up.  The moment I opened up the concealer I knew it was the right shade for me I was delighted it wasnt super dark :)  MUA sells an older version of this which is supposed to be now dont quote me on it as i havent tried it myself but its supposed to be very orangey.  Thats why I was never really pushed about buying it.  Us bloggers do communicate alot thank goodness :)

The consistency of this concealer is quite thick and creamy and you will only need a little bit to do the deed.  I mean this is full coverage all the way.   I would not normally use this under my eyes for that reason as I feel it will cake and soak into fine lines but for blemishes and other areas I have put this to the test.  To be honest I recommend you apply this a little at a time using a concealer brush as you can over do it and if you apply too much it will look cakey.  Once you apply a little at a time it does actually cover up blemishes very well.  I do set this with a powder to make sure it stays put and it does for the most part of the day take or leave 5 to 6 hours before i noticed i needed to top up.

Blended out
Overall I think this concealer would be great for anyone on a budget especially teens who are not fond of wearing foundations you could get away with just using this in the areas you need to and off you go just make sure to keep it in your bag for touch ups.  For £1 I am well impressed with it
Have you tried this concealer yet ?
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

I love love love hearing from you all :) I make it my duty to read each and every one of you comments and every time i get a comment from you it highlights my day thanks so so much to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
