The Body Shop Body Sorbets

Hello Beauties :) :) I hope you are all well :)
Todays review is on one of The Body Shops latest releases.  This is especially for the Spring/Summer months
Its the New Body Sorbets :) :)
If you are a fan of The Body Shops Body Butters you are going to love these :)
Who does not love Their Body Butters They are amazing :) :)
If you havent tried them you really should as they are so moisturising, long last and smell delish!!!!
Well The Body Shop listened to their customers when they said that sometimes their Body Butters are too heavy and thick for the Spring/Summer months So they came up with the perfect solution for those hot sticky months (well here in Ireland we wished we had that weather as I look out the window at the thunder storm we are having)
Of course these Body Sorbets can be used all year round but I think we are going to appreciate them more on the hotter days :)
Of course they paid extra attention to people most favourite scents and made 5 different scents Body Sorbets for us There are
Strawberry Sorbet
Mango Sorbet
Moringa Sorbet
Satsuma Sorbet
Pink Grapefruit Sorbet
They cost €13.50 for 200mls which is a brilliant price for the amount of product we are getting

What I love about these is that it comes in a tube which is even more convenient.  I love the body butters but sometimes it can be annoying having to dip my fingers into the product each time I use it.  Its not very hygienic and I have to make sure all the time to keep my fingers clean.  Not only that the product can get under my nails which can me a pain.  I still use the body butters because they are irresistible :)   Having the Sorbet in the tube makes in a hurry days so much easier :) :)

These Sorbets are packed full of Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera which you and I both know Aloe Vera is 100% pure goodness for your skin and also very good for cooling down the skin

The Body Sorbet is a gel like moisturiser that literally melts and dries into the skin instantly.  There is no oily residue and the moisturiser is super light on the skin.  What you are left it is super soft and healthy looking skin.  Plus the added bonus of smell absolutely amazing all day long.  Yes the scent lingers all day leaving you wanting to smell your arms all day :) Well I do anyway haha

This feels amazing on the skin and you instantly feel the cooling effect which feels lovely.  The best thing about this is that you can store it in the fridge for an even more cooling effect :) :)  They certain do what they say giving you 24 hours moisture but to be honest if have super dry skin this on it own will not do for you.
My favourite scent out of these two is Moringa I absolutely adore it and have been using it none stop since I got it.  The scent is light and fresh.  I can not pin point the scent as such (as I am not really good at that) but wearing this certainly reminds me of the Spring/Summer seasons with that fresh floral scent it is light yet beautiful and I have certainly got noticed wearing it :)
The Mango Scent is also very light and of course smells fruity :)  I do like it but it wouldn't be a scent I would reach for often.  My kiddies love it though and especially love when I use this on them after their bath (I think they especially love the massage I give them while I put this on lol)
Overall I think these are great for the days you don't feel like putting on those heavy body butters and moisturisers or when you are on the go to get out of the day 5 minutes ago
For the days you need extra moisture you can always turn to your body butters :)

Have you tried these yet ?  Which is your favourite scents
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

I love love love hearing from you all :) I make it my duty to read each and every one of you comments and every time i get a comment from you it highlights my day thanks so so much to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So with feeling unwell and not been able to wear makeup this past 2 weeks I have bee feeling yucky as we do ladies so to snap myself out of the whole poor me stage i have been treating myself to alot of hot baths and some self pampering (anything to feel a little better eh?)   I have also been treating myself to some beautiful scented moments with these fabulous body butters from The Body Shop :)  Well if we cant look good when we are sick and constantly blowing our noses we can surely smell good cant we :) :)
Thanks to The Body Shop They have saved me from completely going insane haha

From the moment I set eyes on this beauty I wanted it all for myself.  Ok yes Its the perfect perfect gift for anyone for Christmas but to be honest once you buy this you are going to find it very hard to part with it.  The packaging alone its FANTASTIC and as part of The Body Shops's Christmas range its perfect I would just love to keep it in this packaging forever :)
I am sure alot of you out there have tried The Body Shops Body butters If you havent you really should as they smell and feel amazing against the skin.

These are the 5 wonderfuls scents you will be getting :) (Please excuse the date stamp in the above picture as I didnt notice I had it on :)
In this Gift set you are getting 5 different scents to try out which I mentioned already and you are also getting a very decent amount in each tub a full 50 mls :)  If you were to buy these separately for 50 mls you would pay €7.95 per tub This is where the good news comes in when you buy the Body Shop Body Butter Lollipop Gift set you are getting 5 different scents to try out :)  Music to our ears :) :) and all of this will only cost you €29.95 :)  You are getting a tub of

  • Coconut Body Butter
  • Shea Body Butter
  • Moringa Body Butter
  • Strawberry Body Butter
  • Satsuma Body Butter

  • This Body butter contains Community Fair Trade virgin organic coconut oil which in fact is amazing for dry skin.  It gets rid of flaky skin.  It helps sooth the skin especially after shaving I sure can vouch for that.  Coconut oil is actually one of the best things to put on your skin and the fact you can get it in a body butter and smell like coconut is an added bonus I love the scent as its not overpowering.  Perfect for Normal to dry skin.  I  love this scent its beautiful and the scent lasts all day.

Awwww This has to be one of the more popular Body Butters in The Body Shop.  Shea butter is incredible for the skin especially dry skin.  Shea Butter contains a very important Vitamin which is Vitamin A and the reason its important is because it helps with some of the following,  very dry skin, dermatitus, ezcema and much more.  It also contains Vitamin E.  The scent does smell a little nutty as describe but is very mild.  This is suitable for people with very dry skin.  I am loving this one iat the moment as my skin is extra dry and I find it quenches my skins thirsty brilliantly and lasts all say long I love it and Highly recommend it

Oh boy the scent of this little beauty is amazing I want to go back and get the body mist of this and I will I tell you :) :) :)  I have to say its one of my favourite scented body butters.  It explains on the site that it has a delicate white floral scent which is true and lingers all day long.  This Body Butter is perfect for Normal to dry skin and feels amazing I will surely be repurchasing :)

Oh this is a favourite in my house and not by me by my beautiful babies.  They absolutely love the sweet smell of strawberries from this Body butter and to be honest it works amazing on their skin.  I used this alot on their skin in the summer when the weather was surprisingly hot and when their skin was dried out from the sun.  With them dipping themselves into the pool and coming back out into the sun their skin was put through the mill (do not worry I had them well protected with SPF) but this body butter was so soothing and kept their skin moisturised every single day :) :)  When they seen this in the lollipop gift set they jumped with joy haha.  This is suitable for normal to dry skin

Another beautiful scent and perfect for summer time because of its orangey scent.  This is suitable for Normal skin.  The scent is delicious and lingers all day.  The Fact this is for normal skin makes it a little thiner than the rest which is fine if you are in a hurry and dont want to wait around for you skin to dry.  I have been asked a few times what scent of perfume im wearing when I have this on but I get shocked face when i say its the Body Butter :)

I really think this is the perfect gift for anyone who loves a little pampering.  For this time of year everyone needs that extra moisture and with such cute packaging that comes along with it they will love you :)
If there is someone in your lip who loves Lip Balm you can also get the Lollipop Gift set filled with yummy fruity Lip Balms :) For an added bonus buying these gifts sets also help the Body Shop as they are now planning on raising £200,000 to help build 5 new schools in India Ghana, Honduras, Nepal and Northern India, By donating that money from the sales of all the Christmas stock so when you are buying a gift for someone for Christmas in The body Shop you are not only Making the person you bought the gift for Happy but you will also be helping The Body Shop raise that money to build them schools
    Sweeeeet :)
    Until next Time

The staff could not be smiling anymore than they were last night and might I add very very nice women.
I could not wait to browse around the store to see the new products and of course sample a bit.

But firstly let me tell you about the AMAZING and GENEROUS Thing The Body Shop is doing this Christmas.

Not only are they protecting the plant, supporting animal right supporting community fair trade which is creating jobs all over the world and also supporting education in the third world countries,  but they are now planning on raising £200,000 to help build 5 new schools in India Ghana, Honduras, Nepal and Northern India How??? By donating that money from the sales of all the Christmas stock so when you are buying a gift for someone for Christmas in The body Shop you are not only Making the person you bought the girt for Happy but you will also be helping The Body Shop raise that money to build them schools How seriously amazing is that???
There is so so so many Christmas goodies to choose from especially now that they have 3 additional scents for Christmas including Ginger Sparkle, Vanilla Bliss and Cranberry Joy and you have to smell them they are beautiful :) :)
There is so much to choose from that it would take forever to list on this blog post haha but one thing I can say you can find amazing gifts from as little as €10 even under :)

We also got a demonstration on a festive makeup look using the gorgeous 4 step smokey eyeshadow palette and also on The Sparkler which looked amazing on the model :) :)

Donna Gave a lovely talk on All the new products and about the plan to raise the £200,000 She was absolutely brilliant and made her way around everyone to have a chat and answer any questions.  Her co workers were all amazing too and even offered us free eyebrow threading in which I passed on but alot of girls at the event took the oppurtunity and I have to say each and every one of them were very happy with the result.  Another thing they offered was some fabulous Gingerbread men, cupcakes and Cranberry Juice which of course we all tried out.  I want the recipe of the Gingerbread men as they were beautiful haha

Thank goodness we were not buying anything because to be honest I would have blown my money on everything in the store.  The new scents smell amazing and I did try ou the Vanilla Bliss Shimmer Lotion on my hand and WOW not only did the lotion feel amazing but the tiny shimmers in the lotion left a beautiful sparkle on my skin Just imagine going out to all those Christmas Parties with a lovely tan and adding this lotion for a touch of softness and sparkle your tan would look amazing :)  To top the night off I got a chance to catch up with all my fello blogger friends which is always a treat I bumped into Adoreabubbles, Total Makeup addict, Karen from Lovelygirliebits, CherrySue, Doin' the Do, Girlfriday and many more.   Pictures below were taken by the Body Shop Team :)

We all received some gifts from The Body Shop as a thank you for coming but to be honest it was an honour to be invited When I got home I couldn't contain my excitement any longer and opened up the bag to see what I got.  One thing I have to say is nothing prepared me for what I was about to see in the bag.  I cant believe how generous The Body Shop was to give us such amazing gifts and I am very grateful and also very very excited to try them all out I already know I will love one of the Gifts which is The Body Butter Lollipop which contains 5 different scented body butters.  I have tried their Body Butters before and they are amazing but I will do a full review on them don't worry in fact i will be doing a review on all items very very soon.

The Body Shop New Body Mist in Satsuma Review

Hey My beauties how are you all :) :)
In my last review i was telling you that since i couldnt make The Body Shop Event last month, they kindly sent me out 3 items to try out which was very kind and unexpected.  They understood why i couldnt make it and still sent me out the items again thank you Body Shop :)
I have already reviewed one of the items i was sent which was the Moringa Beautifying Oil
Next up is the New Body Shop Body Mists which were only launched this month :) :) There are 8 scents available Pink Grapefruit, Coconut, Strawberry, Satsuma, Mango, Shea, Moringa and Vanilla.
From the last review i done you will all know that this is my very first time trying out Body Shop items and its pretty exciting for me as i have always as long as i can remember wanted to try out these items and all items from the Body Shop :) :)
The Body Shop sent me out The Satsuma Body Mist
The Packaging is a glass bottle which has a great sturdy spritzer that dispenses a nice amount of product :) You are getting 100mls for £7 which is less than 10 euro.   I actually think that price is very reasonable for what you are getting as this will last a long time :)
While the sun is shining i find myself reaching for this all the time since i got it.  The Bottle is so summery looking and the scent is a great scent for the summer.  Now one or two spritz of this is more than enough as i find it very strong but not overly strong.  Its definitely smells of Oranges (Satsumas) I find the scent sweet and zingy all at the same time both work fantastic together.  The strength of the scent dies down after an hour but i found i could still smell it 6 hours later :)
Even though this scent is beautiful it wouldnt be top of my favourite list but i would like to try other scents from this range as im sure i will find my favourite out of the 8 :) :) and i will let you all know dont worry.
Oh the excitement of having this bottle of freshness on my dresser is making me smile as i type this review :) I love it :) This is making me want to go to Body Shop and go crazy spending in it (maybe its not a bad thing that the nearest store is 40 miles away from me haha)  If you like fresh summer scents i do recommend trying this body mist out.  I havent had the pleasure of smelling the other fragrances yet but i know by having this one they will all smell pure and near to the actual scent its named :) :)
Oh i can only imagine what the strawberry one smells like mmmmmmmmmmm oh and the coconut and the mango mmmmmmmmmmmmm.  Sorry i was dreaming there Oh Body Shop please open a store near me so i can pop in every day and smell all your goodness.  :)

So thats 2 products down one to go and so far 2 out of 2 have me extremely happy :) :)
Have you tried The Body Shop Body Mists yet ?
What scent have you tried ?
I hope you enjoyed this review :)
    Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

Disclaimer:  Body Shop sent me this product to test as part of their new launch.  I am in no way getting paid for this review and i am not obliged in any way to give a good review about it.  This is my utmost and honest opinion about it and i would never give a false review about any product.   I have no reason to do so. :) Thank you so much for reading.  I really hope you enjoyed it :)

The Body Shop Moringa Beautifying Oil Review

Hey my beauties I hope you are all well :)
Little story for you all to begin my review today :) :) (you know how much i love chatting )
Well last month (May) i was invited to my first ever event "The Body Shop Event".  I was extremely excited but due personal reasons i ended up not been able to go at the end :( you can imagine how disappointed i was.  I was never asked to anything like this before and the one time i am asked to go i cant go ah well i wrote them an email apologising that i could not make it and how much i was looking forward to it.  I got an email back telling me that even though i couldnt make it they will sent me out some of the products the other blogger/vloggers got.  I was absolutely amazed and was not expecting that at all.  Thanks Body Shop :) :)
I recieved 3 different items in which i will review separately as they all deserve a separate review in my eyes :) Now i must point out (shocking as this may be for you all) This is my 1st time trying anything from The Body Shop :O I know I know its bad but the the nearest Body Shop to me is 40-50 miles away from me.  I have read so many blog post by different people about products from the Body Shop and all of what i read was and sounded amazing which made me even more determined to go crazing in their store whenever i get to one.  So enough with the babbling :)

One of the products i received was The Body Shop Moringa Beautifying Oil
The New Beautifying Oil costs about 15 euro for 100ml :) There is 11 scents available and i recieved the Moringa scent.  The oil dry oil can be used on the body, face and hair.  Now at first i thought wowzer thats a little on the expensive side but i eventually changed my mind read on to find out more.....
The Body shop brought out this range only this summer and me been nosey had to do more research about this and what exactly was it going to do for me :) This is a little of what i found :)
“First used in Ayurvedic medicine some 4,000 years ago, Moringa seed oil comes from the Moringa tree, which is also known as the “miracle tree” due to its wide variety of beneficial uses. The Moringa tree provides 7 times the Vitamin C in oranges, 4 times the calcium and 2 times the protein in milk, 4 times the Vitamin A in carrots and 3 times the potassium as bananas. Moringa seed oil contains high levels of oleic acid, which is a fatty acid that helps to restore the skin’s moisture levels, protects against drying and keeps the skin feeling soft and smooth. The oil was highly treasured by the ancient Roman, Greek, and Egyptian civilizations for use in protecting skin and making perfume. It was so good, that they even used it to create their own skin-smoothing product.”
Well now when i read this you can imagine the excitement coming out of me to the thought that all of this goodness was coming from one bottle :) :)
Now as it says on the bottle that this can be used on the body, face and hair, i put it to the test straight away
HAIR:  Lately i have noticed my hair and scalp is drier than normal probably due to hair dye, hair products and blow drying and also the change of weather so thats where i put it to the test first.  Now after washing my hair instead of using my normal leaving in conditioner i put a little of the oil into my damp hair, let it dry naturally and without a shadow of doubt my hair looked like i had dipped it in a chip pan oh lordy it was flatter than flat and i just could not do a thing with it.  I actually tried it again and again just to give it a chance and the same thing happened my hair was lifeless (proof in my latest video you will see how boring my hair looked)
**** Since this review i was given a tip by someone who works with The Body Shop and they stated " if you put one or two drops through the ends of damp hair and blow dry you get a lovely sheen on the hair - it is very heavy when you put it in the root."
BODY:  Now this is a different story altogether it works absolutely fine on my body.  I like to apply this just after jumping out of the shower when my skin is still damp.  Certain areas of my body has too been suffering with dryness especially my elbow joints and knee's.  My skin instantly felt smooth and soft and the aroma against my warm showered body was amazing :) :) Not only that my skin was glowing i instantly loved it and still do :)  Now obviously as its an oil it will take a little longer to dry but just do a little run around or dance to your favourite song by the time the song is over it will be dry hahaha
FACE:   I have normal to combination skin so in certain areas i do suffer a little dryness like around my mouth and nose area but i also suffer a little oiliness on my t-zone and the fact i have a fairly high forehead i wasnt really pushed about applying this to my whole face or you would end up seeing a reflection of you face from my forehead lol.  So i tried it only in the areas i was dry and it did work well .  I actually applied my makeup over this when it dried and my makeup did not budge so thumbs up for that :)

I was amazed by this oil and the fact that it leaves my skin glowing is and extra bonus.  When this bottle runs out i will certainly buy more and will try it in a different scent
I want to try the Coconut, shea, oh and the strawberry scent next :)   15 euro at the start seemed a bit steep to me but to be honest i have been using this constantly since i got it and there is only a small bit gone out of the bottle.  I see this lasting me a long time :)

    Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter
