Soap & Glory Fast & Thick Super Volume Mascara Review

Hello my beauties :)
I hope you are all well :)
Todays post is on a mascara I have had for a couple of months now and have been really enjoying alot lately :)
Its the Soap & Glory Fast & Thick Super Volume Mascara :)

I have to admit I havent seen too many reviews about this mascara or have heard too many things about it which is one thing I thought would be a bad thing.  I know Soap & Glory is very popular for their skincare products but for makeup I have not seen as many reviews :)  but that has never stopped me trying anything new before and it certainly will not in the future :)

Soap & Glory state that This super volume mascara creates amazingly, longer, fuller, fabulous lashes. Featuring Superfill False Lash Fillers, Shine Amplifiers, No flake 24  technology and super-fine no-clumps natural wax film formers. *While we don’t feel it’s ladylike to brag, we’re feeling particularly bullish about our mascara. (And hope after trying it you’ll agree that it’s absolutely marvelous.)

This Mascara costs €13.50 for 10mls of product :)

The packaging for the price is actually quite plain (not that its important).  I like the packaging to be honest as its simple but girlie all at the same time.  The nice big pink bold writing makes the tube look more fun.  What's more important to me is A) the Wand and B) the performance of the mascara :)  Which I am sure all of you are the same :)

Now for the wand part

The brush is a nicely sized brush.  Its not too big or its not too small :)  I like the shape of it too as the smaller end is great for reach the inner and outer corner lashes perfectly without making a mess :) :)
The bristles are small enough to catch every lash aswell as cover them with a nice amount of product :)

The one thing I have to say I noticed when I first bought this is that I actually didnt like the mascara at first !!!!!  The formula was too wet for me and the crush was picking up way too much product.  I would end up applying way too much to my lashes and waited what seemed like forever for my lashes to dry without transferring.  I would definately say that I waited a good 3 weeks before using this again.  When I did I was amazed with how different my lashes looked from the first time I used this :)   The formula of the mascara had a chance to dry out a little and it was a dream to apply to my lashes :)

I lashes looked longer instantly.  They did look fuller but not as full as I like them which is a person preference of mine of course :)
As for blackness of the formula........ Well my lashes looked super black even from the first coat :)  Take a look :) (click on the photo for a closer look :)

Lasting power is brilliant also.  My lashes didnt drop once throughout the day nor did I experience flakiness which is one thing we all dread when it comes to trying out new mascaras.

Overall this mascara is definaelty worth trying out but if you are like me and like your formula in between dry and wet you will have to use this a few time before seeing its potential :)  Also if you are like me and like very full looking lashes this is not for you.  In the picture above i have 3 coats of the  mascara on me but I think if you applied more coats you will end up with very clumpy spider legged lashes.   I do think after 2 coats its perfect for everyday wear.   It doesnt state that this mascara is waterproof but I can safely say its went through my tears and I have also been caught in rain while wearing this and I experienced no smudging

Is it worth €13 ???
No in my opinion its not worth the full price but if there is an offer going on it grab it as its not the worst mascara I have tried and it is great for everyday wear :)
Have you tried this mascara yet?
Whats your thoughts on it ??
I hope you enjoyed this review and if you are thinking about buying this you can purchase from any Boots/Superdrug store

Until Next time

W7 Absolute Lashes Mascara - A Dupe of Benefits They're Real Mascara?

Hello Beauties :) I hope you are all well :)
Well I am sure alot of you who have seen me post up a picture of Facebook about this have been dying to hear my thoughts and see pictures on this mascara :)  I know for a fact I was super excited to try this when I seen it for sale in a local pharmacy :)
Tod do thing differently on this post I am going to show you a picture of my lashes one side has the benefit They're Real Mascara on the other has W7 Absolute Lashes Mascara on bother with only 2 coats and I want you to guess which eye has which :)  Of course at the end I will tell you if you are right or wrong but for a bit of fun I want you to comment below.  So eye number one which will be your left hand side and the 2nd eye which is your right :) :)
So here it is :)

The focus & lighting is a little off because the sun likes to play games popping in and out every 2 seconds but at least you can still see the lashes :)

Well of course by now you can tell that W7 has been "cheeky" enough to copy the packaging that Benefit has for the They're real mascara so even my 5 year olds have noticed that both mascaras look very very alike on the outside from the mirrow image packaging to the black and orange writing as you can see below

So now that we have cleared that the packaging is very alike.  We now have to investigate the wands in which I again was shocked with :) Take a look :) :)

The top wand is W7 and the bottom of course is Benefit :)
There is a little difference in the wands and in thickness but they both look very very alike let me show you a closer look

They are both flexible which mean they both work with the lashes :)
W7 have certainly ticked both boxes so far in achieving to creating a dupe but of course the real question is does it perform the same :)

Well for all you Benebabes out there who love and adore They're Real Mascara I am with you as I absolutely adore it too.  I adore for for the fact that it makes my lashes super long, super full and makes them look evenly separated.  I also love how black it makes my lashes.  No flakiness no clumps no smudging and is 100% waterproof I mean Nothing is budging Benefits They're Real Mascara Some would even say that even some eye make-up removers wont budge it which is a dream to all of us ladies :)

W7 has alot to live up to, match what Benefit has to offer to us in performance

To be honest I wanted to test these against each other and really put them to the test last week with our horrible Irish winter weather.  I applied W7 on one eye and Benefit on the other used no curlers.
I found applying W7 a dream The Formula was not too wet and not too dry.  There was a perfect amount of the formula on the brush to apply one coat to each lash.  I did have to comb through my lashes a little more than I did with the Benefit Mascara but that's nothing major.  There was no mess no smudging while applying the mascara which again is brilliant.  I found both mascara's dried the same time and I didn't feel like I needed to add another coat of W7 to match up with the pigmentation Benefit gave on the other eye.  Both lashes looked the same :) :) Happy Days :)
Throughout the day I noticed No Flaking and nothing different from when I first applied the W7 mascara to be honest I felt like I was wearing Benefit They're Real on both eyes :)
In total I wore these mascaras for 13 hours and there was no change even been caught in the rain a few times there was no movement or no panda eyes.

The only difference I did notice was when I took my makeup off Its alot easier to take of the W7 mascara than the Benefits They're Real.  I could use a simple eye makeup remover to remove W7 but to remover the Benefit They're Real I had to use the Benefit Remover.
Here is a before and after picture after 2 coats of each :)  Have you decided which eye has W7 and Which has Benefit yet?  ;)

I have to admit I was very impressed with W7 Absolute Lashes and find its a good cheaper alternative.
I still adore Benefit and to be honest its one of my top favourite Mascara's.  I just simply find I can only treat myself to They're Real occasionally because it costs €22.50.  Whereas W7 have made a very very good attempt of making a dupe of They're Real for only €3.50 per mascara.  If you are one who loves They're real but sometimes find it hard to part with the money to buy it well you can always go for the cheaper alternative and still have beautiful darker long full lashes :) and now for the big Real
The left eye which is the first eye has the W7 Absolute Lashes Mascara on and the right eye which is the 2nd eye Has Benefit They're Real Mascara on.  Did you Guess Right?

Well that's it from me today everyone I really hope you Enjoyed this review :)  Incase you are wondering W7 Absolute Mascara is available from leading pharmacies in Ireland including Cara Pharmacy :)

Until Next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

Makeup Revolution Amazing Volume Mascara Review

Hello my beauties :)
Today I have a review on the Makeup Revolution Amazing Volume Mascara.  As you know Makeup Revolution is a new affordable brand available to be online and its already booming with amazing reviews :)  I have already posted up a review on their Iconic 1 Palette which I adore so today I thought I would share my thoughts on one of their mascaras.
This mascara only costs £2 which is not going to break the bank and thats what I love.  There are 3 types you can choose from
Black
Ultra Black
Waterproof
Makeup Revolution claim you are going to get amazing volume from root to tip in just one stroke
In all honesty I was not expecting that to be true after all alot of us ladies love extra volume on our lashes especially when we suffer with horrible lashes.  So I was curious to see how this works on my flimzy lashes

I love the packaging of this mascara.  Its simple yet different The packaging is a black plastic tube but has a plastic glass type covering over that :)

The wand is a normal sized wand which I am sure alot of you out there will be pleased about.  Normally Volume mascaras will come with a huge wand which can be a pain especially for someone who has small eyes but the wand is suitable for everyone I Promise :)  I found it very easy to work with and the fibres do separate every lash which is a bonus for me as I hate clumped up lashes

Another great thing I noticed about this mascara was when I took the wand out of the tube it felt like there was a little bit of suction.  When I looked at the want there was not clumped up formula that you do get with some mascaras.  I hate when you are in a hurry and taking the wand out only to find you have to scrape most of the mascara off the wand before using it each time.  With this mascara you do not have to do that I had a look in the tube and of course there was a closing in there especially designed to scrape off excess mascara off the wand for you LOVE IT !!!!!! I wish all mascaras had that

So now for the formula!!! Ok its not as black as some of my mascara's You have to build the colour up to get the blackness you want.  I found the formula wet to start off with of course with it been new they do say some mascaras have to be used a few times before you get the best out of it.  With this one its true.  I did have to use it a few times before I seen it work at its best.
As this is a Volumising mascara I was literally watching out for some volume and in all honestly it does volumise for an everyday look.  I couldn't see myself using this on a night out as I would want more volume.  I am not saying it does not work but I am saying this is more of everyday use which is fine for me.  I does not hold a curl that I can tell you as you see on the right eye in each picture I have one stubborn eye that refused to stay curled unless I use waterproof mascara and it is not as curled as the one on the left.  I even noticed throughout the day the lash on the right fell more  but it does what it says it does add volume
Here is a before and after picture of me using just the volume mascara 2 coats :) :) (click on the photo for a closer look)

Overall for a £2 mascara this is worth a try for everyday.  I find no faults with it as it does do what it claims and a little more by adding a little length too.
Well done to Makeup Revolution as I will surely repurchase this.  Have you tried this yet :)  Keep an eye out for a review on their Lengthening Mascara review as I am also trying that  out and will have that up asap :)
I hope you enjoyed this review
Until next time

Cover Girl Flamed Out Mascara

Hello my gorgeous beauties
How are you all today :)
Todays review is on my current mascara I am using.  I recieved this mascara in a swap with the lovely Shannon From The Creation of Beauty :) She lives in America and I told her I never really tried Cover girl so she sent me this Mascara.
Correct me if I am wrong but This Mascara roughly costs about $6 to buy and was only released last year
Cover Girl Flamed Out Mascara comes in 2 types Waterproof and Non Waterproof I have Non Waterproof.
The Shades available are :
Very Black Blaze (this is the shade I have)
Black Blaze
Black/Brown Blaze
Brown Blaze
Cover Girl Promises:  This is a  mascara that provides maximum volume to create a bold, winged-out look. The unique wire brush coats your lashes and curves them up and out.

The Packaging I love and its very easy to find amongst my crazy amount of unused mascaras in my draw lol
The brush on the other hand you will either love or hate.  Sometimes when I am in a hurry I hate it as it is an hourglass shape and can be a little big.  There are mascaras out there with hourglass shape that are bigger so I would class this as a medium sized compared to others.  I do find when using this mascara in a hurry it can create a little mess but when I am careful I have actually learned to love the brush as it does separate every lash and helps me get every lash covered even the small ones.
I did find at the beginning I made a mess on my lids until I got used to the brush itself after 2 or 3 uses and in all honesty it really does the job.  I like that every time I take the brush out of the tube it does not gather too much of the mascara in one go it has enough to do the two eyes :)

I really really like the formula of this mascara and the more you use it the more you will like it.  Sometime when I buy I new mascara The formula can be a little too wet and can create clumpy lashes after two coats but with the Cover Girl Mascara it didn't do that.  I was really impressed with the finish after two coats my lashes looked incredible full and black.
It certain does what it claims by giving me volume Two coats of this little beauty gives me incredible volume after 3 coats you might as well me wearing falsies :)
I was asked the other day What falsies I was wearing I told them I wasn't I was wearing this mascara :) here is a before and after picture of my lashes after 2 coats :)   It holds my curl for the whole day.  Below is a photo of my lashes before and after 2 coats For a closer look click on the photos :) :)

This mascara has surely impressed me :)  Its super black, smudge proof and doesn't budge until I take it off.  It hasn't effected my eyes at all and so far there is no flaking after using it about 2 and half months.  I expect this should last me another month before it dries up on me but i will keep you updated :)  For a $6 mascara you cant pass this by without trying it :) :)
You can buy this mascara from Amazon or on Ebay (just make sure the mascara is in its packaging if buying from ebay)   if you are not living in America
Have you tried this mascara yet?
Whats your thoughts on it :)
Until next time

My Empties #2

Hello My Beauties How are you all today?
I decided to do another Empties Post, alot of you liked the last one I did so I have been stashing my empties especially for you :) :)
Let me tell you its great to finally throw them into the bin lol
I love these sort of posts and videos because you surely get a full insight to how the blogger/youtubers got on with the products and see if they would repurchase them again :)
So without further ado I shall start on mine :)

Starting from the left
Lancomes Softening Hydrating Toner:  I got 2 very decent sampled sized bottle of this product from the Lancome Event I went to.  I was super excited to try this out partly because Its not often I get the chance to try something from a high end brand like Lancome plus I wanted to see just why it costs so much.  To be honest I don't see why this product costs as much as it Smells good, Refreshes the skin like it claims and also is alcohol free I felt it didnt do anything different to what a drugstore toner did for me.  Dont get me wrong I loved using it but to be honest I would not go out there and pay around €30 for a toner not on your nelly :) :)

Elemis Softly Softly Daily Moisturiser:  I got this in one of my glossyboxes and was super excited to try it out.  If I am not mistaking this Full Sized costs about £20 to buy which again is high end in my eyes.  I have also heard that "Freshskin" range by Elemis is for teens and twenty year old's .  I didnt find any fault with this product it did hydrate my skin well and I found I used very little to cover my face and neck.  This sample lasted me for quite some time.  The scent from this moisturiser is mild and smells a little like almonds I actually liked it alot.  Would I go out and buy it again hmmmm no to be honest It didnt do anything different to what some drugstore moisturisers did to my face and for £20 per bottle I was expecting a little more from it

St Ives Daily Microdermabrasion:  I absolutely love love love this product its one of my favourite daily defoliators out there.  I mean this is amazing it smells amazing it feels amazing and the out come is amazing my skin feels smooth and soft and ready for the day :)  You can purchase this from boots and costs as little as €6.69 for 125ml I will surely be giving this a separate review soon :) :) Love it

Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 makeup-remover:  (still a favourite ) This is a favourite of mine for sure and for a long time.  Its so so affordable in fact it only sets me back about 3 to 4 euro.  This contains 2 layers the top layer (blue) is the eye makeup remover the bottom layer is suppose to be for the face.  It contains no perfume or alcohol.  The reason I love this so much is that its absolutely amazing to take of my eye makeup literally one swipe and bam gone.  I find If i use the blue layer before shaking it for the rest of my face the blue layer is more effective for the most stubborn waterproof mascaras and liners.  The only fault........ its feels quite oily and I dont particularly like oily products on my face.  The fact it does such a great job, its affordable and its brilliant even for anyone with sensitive skin I can tolerate a little oiliness.

Nivea Refreshing Toner:   This has to be the most affordable toner I have tried and loved.  This feels amazing against the skin and I find no stingy feeling while using it.  Its that gentle on the skin I have even used this around the eye area and found it had no effect on me.  I feel refreshed and I find it works great taking whatever dirt and grime thats left on my face.  It smells amazing too :) :) I will certainly be repurchasing :)

Docteur Renaud Raspberry Soft Cream Review:  I received this moisturiser in my glossybox (in which I do not get anymore)  I think this was a limited edition moisturiser For 50mls of moisturiser this would set you back a whopping £25 which is quite steep to be honest especially for just an everyday moisturiser.  Yes it smells amazing and feels really nice against the skin leaving you hydrated for the day but with that price I was expecting more even spf or something I was certainly not going to go out of my way to repurchase.  If it was cheaper I would but I think the price is a bit much

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes:  I know alot of people are against face wipes but to be honest in my opinion if you find the right facial wipes you are doing no harm to your skin I have been using them for years.  These wipes were recommended to me because I was going through a little bit of a rough time with my face and using my normal face wipes were irritating it more so I gave these a try and loved them.  They are ideal for anyone with sensitive skin and did not feel one bit scratchy which I love.  There is no oils, no alcohol, no perfume and no colouring in these but what is in them is  Pro-Votamin B5 which actively restores, softens and smoothes.  They are even gentle on the eyes.  I will be repurchasing these again for sure :)

Lush Vanilla See-Lite Body Lotion:  Oh dont even get me started on this little beauty.  Ladies if you are a vanilla scent fan or even if you are not you will love this body lotion.  Oh my goodness I got this sample sized (as big as it is) in one of their boxes and loved it from day one so much so I went back and bought the full sized bottle.  This smells out of this world even when I apply this all over people can smell the vanilla all the way downstairs.  Plus the scent lingers literally all day long on me.  My skin feels smooth and soft and leaves a beautiful healthy glow on there too.  I loved this all over the summer as it made my tan look amazing.  I highly recommend this to everyone you will love it :)

Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan:  I absolutely love this tan Check out my blog post on it to see what difference this makes.  I love how natural it makes me look and lasts up to 5 days without having to worry about patches etc.  Its amazing and for under €8 its well worth it.  Marissa Carter has done an amazing job with this product for sure and she has lots more to try out too I cant wait to try her Moisturiser which is coming out very very soon.  Plus Marissa made an announcement that Cocoa Brown will be available to purchase on all Aer Lingus flights from Dec 1st!  Happy days :)

Batiste Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:  Wow I love this product.  It has been my saviour in more ways than one.  Been a busy mum and blogger its sometimes hard to get the time to wash my hair everyday.  To be honest I wash my hair only 3 times a week because my hair lasts that long before looking in any way greasy but some days I do find I need a little pick me up so I spray a little of this in and it livens up my hair more than it does if i washed it.  Honestly the volume that I get from this is amazing and my hair looks amazing plus it smells booti-ful :) I love it

Elizabeth Ardens 5th Avenue Perfume:  This has been a favourite for many years.  I have been through many bottles of this beautiful perfume and I really hope it never goes off market.  I like to wear this scent in the winter time I dont know why but I always seem to reach for it more around that time.  The perfume has a floral scent with a spicy edge to it but its not over powering.  I think it will always be one of my favourites once you buy a bottle of it and finish it, you will find you will buy another :)

2 of my favourite foundations ever !!!!
NYX HD Studio Photogenic Foundation:  I have a review done about this foundation already which you can check out here but this foundation is amazing full stop I find it brilliant for coverage for lasting powder for photos for everything.  It gives medium coverage and feels very lightweight.  My skin looks flawless and you use very little to cover the entire face.  The only fault I find is you have to purchase it online which means finding your perfect match can be hard but if you check out as many reviews as you can you will surely end up finding your match just make sure you do not go by the shades the website gives you as it will be wrong.  Love it !!!!!!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation:  Do you know what?? The beauty blogger that I am im only realising I have never done a blog post on this tut tut tut shame on me If you would like me to review this let me know :)  This is another long time favourite of mine.  Sineady Cady from themakechair and Lisa Eldridge are also fans of this foundation.  Seeing as I am around NC20-25 I find number 52 a perfect match for me.  The formula is very light and takes very little effort to apply.  I like to use a stippling brush like my Favourite foundation brush the Blank Canvas Cosmetics F20 Brush.  The finish is light to medium coverage and leaves my skin looking flawless.  I just love how natural it makes my skin look without giving away the fact I am wearing a foundation I love it !!!!!  The one thing I will have to say is that I would love if they would bring out more shades as there is only 5 shades to choose from but this is a perfect foundation for anyone with pale skin

Mally Volumising Mascara:  I have to say I fell into the you-tube hype on this mascara.  After hearing Itsjudystime and Emily Noels raving reviews about this I just had to see what the hype was about.  I did a full review on this mascara in which you can check out here .  I loved it but to be honest I found it dried out too quick And paying £17.50 per mascara is way too much for it to dry out after 2 months.

MUA Extreme Volume Mascara:  I have already reviewed this mascara and included photos of course but I just have to say for a £2 mascara this works pretty darn well !!! I was well impressed with the formula, with its performance and most of all with the wand.  For a super affordable product this is definitely worth a try.  I have even bought back ups of this I love it :)

Maxfactor 2000 Calorie Mascara:  There was one day I was reading through Fluff & Flipperies blog and Emma had a post up about Maxfactors Mascara's and the fact that they are 20 years old I thought that was amazing.  I was curious to find out what the formula was like especially what it was like 20 years ago.  So I searched online to see if I could get my hands on it.  I finally found it on Fragrance Direct for £4.50.  I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this.  The formula is not too wet, its jet black and also easy to apply what i love is the brush its curved and grabs every lash.  The finish result is nice full curled lashes.  It wouldnt be the type of lashes for night time but its certainly a during the day mascara :)

Avon SuperShock Mascara:  I absolutely love love love this mascara.  This has always been a favourite of mine for as long as I can remember.  Its amazing the brush is brilliant it grabs every lash, the formula is amazing its not too wet or dry its just right.  The finish is what you call perfect I have fuller longer lashes and it lasts until i take it off.  Its just such a pity Ireland do not have Avon anymore I miss it so so much :(

Before i begin my apologies for this been so grubby but i suppose thats what happens with brow gels with clear packaging :(
e.l.f Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Mascara:  I have loved this product since I first tried it 2 years ago.  For a £1.50 products this holds my brows into place literally all day long.  I love it.  You have one side for brows and one side for lashes.  I use both sides for my brows to make the product last longer :) :) I highly recommend you all to try it out if you havent already :)

Mac Eyebrow Pencil in Lingering:  I won this in a competition.  I have to admit I used it every single day I used it.  It was the perfect shade for my brows and the finish was as natural as you could get it.  I never had to set it and it lasted all day long without smudging one little bit.  I nearly cried when I ran out of this as I loved it that much but to be honest I cant bring myself to repurchase because of the price of it and the fact you only get 0.09gs of product for it.  There are plenty of dupes for this brow pencil out there that is a fraction of the price.

Wow Finally I am finished haha I hope I didnt bore you with this extra long post :)  Is there anything in this bunch that is your favourites or that isnt?  Let me know what are your thoughts on these :)
Until next time

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara

Well Hellllloooooo Everyone How are you all today?  Wow the weather is vigorously change its crazy how cold its got in recent day and to be honest its looking like we are going to have a hard cold winter :(
We may start getting the winter woolies out and of course start shopping for new ones ;) Any excuse to go shopping eh ladies :)
Ok so today I bring you yet another Rimmel review as you have probably seen from my last review I reviewed the latest Rimmel Scandaleyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner that was only released in recent months.   Well I just had to pick up their newest Mascara which was released at the same time.
I was hoping I would get a better outcome from this than what i got from the eye-liner to be honest so if you want to find out if I did or didn't read on :) :)
Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Retro Glam Mascara - The 60s are back full swing with a thicker, fuller, wide-eyed look! A wide-eyed false lash look, fanned out volume with NO clumps!
Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara is available at superdrug Boots or any pharmacy who sell Rimmel.  I actually found this mascara to be a very reasonable and affordable price at €8.65 each for 12mls.

If you are a fan of the 60s retro makeup looks you will be just as curious as me to see if this gives you the full voluptuous lashes they had in the 60s.  I couldnt wait to try it out.  The Packaging is true retro style with its black and white design love it :)
You may notice the want is an hour glass shape which is suppose to help achieve fuller longer lashes.  Some people fear of the giant brush even I do sometimes especially when i have created a look on my eyes that I do not want ruined lol.  I do find this brush a little big but it fits perfectly for my lashes and I can instantly see and feel each and every lash been grabbed my the brush.

On the first application I could instantly see how black the mascara is it actually amazed me to be honest as its not often you get instant jet black lashes on the first coat.  I tried this without curling my lashes which is something I never do as I have stubborn straight lashes.  I noticed an instant curl also on the first coat.  I was very very impressed :)
Ok i am going to show you a photo with me wearing not makeup ok so dont get a fright and it will also explain why im not smiling hahaha  but I have applied one coat of this mascara on to show you the instant curl and blackness you will get

The formula on this mascara is very impressive i have to say normally when you first apply an mascara it can be nearly too wet and take some time to dry but with this one yes it is moist but not as much.  I did also find I made a little mess as you see in the photo and that can be hard for first timers but simply use a card of any sort place it on your lid and whip on the mascara mess free thats what I tend to do when I have a full look going on :)
I found 2 coats to be more than enough to create amazing looking lashes and I am happy to report no clumping, no flaking and no smudging :) :)  I have even been caught out in pouring rain as it is typical in Ireland lol and I found no smearing or panda eyes as a result.  :) Happy Days :)
Here is a look I done recently using the mascara and as you can see it shows amazing results

So overall as you can tell at this stage I really like this mascara and it gets a Nina's Thumbs up Well done Rimmel :) :
Have you tried this mascara yet?
What's your thoughts on it :)
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

MUA Extreme Volume, Extreme Curl & Every Lash Mascara Review

Hey my wonderful readers how are you all doing :)  About 2 weeks ago I posted a picture of these new mascara's i purchased from the Makeup Academy (MUA) Website and i asked you all which one would you like me to review first and i got the same answer ALL OF THEM lol so Without further a do I shall do just that :) :)
First up is
MUA Every Lash Volume & Lengthening Mascara
It adds glamour, length and volume to your eyelashes. ‘Every lash’ is available in three shades – Black, Black/Brown and waterproof. This is the perfect mascara to add length with the first application and glamorous volume with the second. And by using the waterproof shade we guarantee you long lasting full lashes without smearing.
So I went with buying the Waterproof one as i like to have at least one or two Waterproof Mascara's in my collection especially for holding the curl in my lashes and of course for the "Emotional" time we go through in our lives :) 90% of the time i prefer using non waterproof mascara's as i feel they can be hard on my poor lashes.
So this mascara costs only £3 this is the more expensive out of the 3 i got which in my eyes is still more affordable than most drugstore mascaras.
This mascara is suppose to smell like apples but I'm afraid I didn't get any scent of apples only a cosmetic scent but who cares about that eh?
The packaging is pretty I like that they added the green lid to brighten it up.
The want is plastic and flexible.  It is certainly a want that will get every lash and that's what I like.  The tip of the want is rounded which is perfect for the bottom lashes and makes it less messy to apply if you are not a pro at applying mascara.
Now does it do what its says.  Hmmmm I wasn't so impressed my this mascara to be honest.  First application was a dream, it didn't take much to cover all my lashes the formula was quite wet so it took a good 40 seconds to dry just to let you know.  How ever with the second coat I found the mascara was very heavy on my lashes and to be honest my lashes looked more like spiders legs than anything else YES i got length but certainly not volume :(  Even after curling my lashes the curl soon fell which i hated.  Is it actually waterproof well yes it did stay on after i chopped a strong onion and it was hard to remove at the end of the day.  To be honest i will not be purchasing this mascara again as it doesn't do everything it claims to do.  The Picture below i have only got mascara on no makeup :) :)
Next up is
MUA Extreme Curl Mascara
MUA Claims Extreme Curl Mascara shapes lashes beautifully from root to tip for long-lasting curl.
This is not waterproof and costs £2 to buy.  Its also available in 2 shades Black and Black/brown.  I went with black of course.  I was looking forward to trying this out especially and i have fairly straight lashes and on one eye i find it hard to keep the curl in it which can be annoying.  The packaging as you can see is a plastic mirror type tube.  Its very lightweight and sturdy.  The wand itself is is sturdy but has a curve to it.  This makes application very easy.  I actually liked the shape of the want as it allows you to get the very corners of the eyes in one go too.
I was actually surprised by this mascara and really enjoy using it.  Now before i tell you why i was impressed just let me tell you that it doesn't do what it claims to do well not for me anyway.  It didn't give the curl that i was expecting but boy it gave length.  I was surprised and impressed at the same time.  When i added a second coat it didn't clump up my lashes but added a little volume and a nice length.  I wouldn't recommend this for curl but surely for length and pleasure to apply :) Its well worth £2 for sure :)  The picture below i have only got the mascara's on with no makeup on please excuse that :) :) ;)
Lastly
MUA Extreme Volume Mascara
Now i surely had to save the best for last as this is my favourite out of the 3.
MUA Claim Extreme Volume Mascara magnifies lashes for a spectacular false- lash effect.
Now in ordering this i made a wee boo boo :( I was meant to order this in Extreme black but i ordered it in Black/brown instead.  I was a little disappointed as brown mascaras would not be on the top of my list of favourite shades of mascara's but i didn't let it put me off trying it out.  Even though the mascara says black/brown it looks more like just brown in the package. This only costs £2 which is so so affordable in my eyes and amazing value for what we are getting.  The packaging isn't on the most exciting parts of the review as its a very simple black tube with silver writing on it.
The brush is my favourite just the right brush to achieve the volume you are looking for.  Its not too big nor too small it will suit any shape eyes.
I love how this brush picks up just the right amount of product for each eye.  I was well impressed with this mascara the fact that it is brown it darkens my lashes quite a big.  Obviously my lashes will not be extremely dark but this mascara suit me on days i don't want to make it obvious i am even wearing it :)  To be honest my lashes look very natural when i wear this.  Now as in Volume i have to say it does give my lashes a little volume but i found it to be more lengthening.  I love how after each coat my lashes do not look clumped or look like spiders legs the formula is very nice.
I can not wait to try the extreme black i bet my lashes would look FABULOUS :) I highly recommend this mascara for sure :)
The Picture below I actually have a little makeup on hehe and this is with 2 coats of mascara
That's It that's the last of the Mascara's I got from MUA :)  I'm surely you can tell which one is my favourite and which is my least.  Which one do you think looks better.  Have you tried any of MUA's Mascara's ?  Which one is your favourite.  I have more to try from them and will surely be reviewing them in the future.  I hope this has been informative for you all if you have any questions please ask away i always get back to you :)
Until next time
