Rummaging Through my Rubbish Bin: My Empties #3

Hello Beauties How are you all today :) :)
I have been gathering my rubbish for a while now and thought it was about time I was to literally throw these out in the bin as they were getting in my way.  Not before I show you what I have finished up first :)
I love these kind of posts as you know for sure you are going to get a more in dept review on the items and find out if the person will or even has already repurchased :) So without further ado let me show you my junk lol

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water:  One of my favourite cleansers of all time.  I have an in dept review on this so I am not going to go into great detail here but its just awesome.  This stuff has more power in it than you think.  It removes makeup brilliantly.  I love using this even on my no makeup days when I want to refresh my face as is so cooling and soothing I feel so refreshed after ward.  I must have repurchased this about 4 times since I first started using it and will continue to do so :)

Loreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Micellar Solution:  This is basically the same thing as the Garnier Micellar Cleaning Water only half the bottle to be honest I would rather the Garnier because you are getting more for your money ;)

Garnier Express 2 in 1 eye makeup remover:  This is also currently on offer in boots for only €2.89 and I will be also stocking up on this.  I find this brilliant for removing my waterproof mascaras and eyeliners.  You mix the 2 liquids together and place on a cotton pad hold it to your eyes for about 10-20 second and rub off gently.  You will be amazing how well this breaks down your makeup.  Yes you will find it oily even after you use it but nothing a wash of the face and a wipe over with Garnier Micellar Water wont take away again ;)

Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 Makeup Remover:  This is currently €2.59 on the boots website and I am surely stocking up as it is absolutely brilliant removing eye makeup especially waterproof makeup.  It literally removes everything  There is no perfume or no alcohol in this which means no stinging of the eyes :) :) For such an affordable price you can not pass it :) Obviously people with oily skin might be cautious about this as there is two liquids in this and basically you have to shake the bottle to mix the two together but the oily bit I find doesn't leave any residue whatsoever unlike some oily makeup removers do :)

e.l.f Daily Brush Cleaner:  What can I say I am absolutely obsessed with this stuff.  Honestly this stuff is brilliant for spot cleaning your brushes and now that they have added a more attractive scent to the cleaner its making me love it more.  Honestly if you are one of the one who never liked the smell of this stuff and it stopped you from buying it again, go buy it now as the scent is beautiful.  As long as this is selling I will be buying.  I love how nice my brush smells every time I use it and it leaves them nice and soft and ready for use again the only downfall I have is that I wish they would bring back the bigger bottle (the first bottle in the picture) as its so much handier and saves buying a handful of them every time I buy them the bigger bottle was better value too PLEASE ELF BRING BACK THE BIG BOTTLES AGAIN :)

Loreal Elnett Satin Hair Spray:  Currently selling in boots again for 400mls €8.89 this hairspray has to be my favourite hairspray at the moment.  I can not believe i have not tried this until lately and I will be repurchasing.  Its just amazing.  It smells amazing it holds amazing and even the next day your hair is literally as smooth and soft as before you applied it.  There is so many to choose from you will find one suitable for your own needs or for your hairs need.

VO5 Mega Hold Gel Spray:  This is for all you gals out there who have naturally curly hair and sometimes need the fuzz to calm down.  You know when your hair is nice and curly then you step out into the rain and it ends up fuzzy well this stops that happening :)   The only thing is that it will leave your hair really stringy if you using too much and also if you are up styling and use this your hair will feel hard so use very sparingly.  Either that or get a bottle with less strength as you can see this bottle is maximum strength

Bourjois Radiance Reveal foundation:  You all know this is one of my favourite foundations around.  If you haven't seen my review on it click here.  The shade I have used up is the lightest shade (51) which does me in the winter time when I'm at my palest but at the moment I am using shade 53.  I like to use this during the week as its medium coverage and feels light weight on the skin.  I also love how it photographs well as you will see in the photo in my review.  I have also used this foundation on people in their 40's and they absolutely adore it on their skin as it does not soak into fine lines or enlarged pores :)

Catrice "The Giant" Extra Volume Mascara:  1 of my favourite Catrice mascara's and unfortunately since a month ago this has been discontinued.  I loved everything about this mascara from the brush to the formula to its performance it gave great volume and length.  You can still get your hands on it if you are lucky and its half price to clear the stock so if you see it GRAB IT!!!!

Cover Girl Flamed out Mascara:  I got this in a swap with another blogger from the US and to be honest I am deeply saddened that this has ran out.  I adored this mascara its amazing. Check out my blog post here

MUA Extreme Volume Mascara:  This is another mascara I liked for day time looks.  Its not intensely black but gives enough volume to make your lashes noticeable check out my post on it here

Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara:  Another mascara I truly loved check out my post here :) this actually lasted me the longest out of the above 4 it lasted a full 4 months which is brilliant

Rimmel Scandaleyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner:  I wasn't a happy camper when I purchased this but I did continue to use it until it dried up and to be honest it did not take long for it to dry up either if you want to find out in detail my thoughts about this check out my post here.  Overall this has not and will never be a repurchase

Catrice Liquid Liner:  I wasn't a fan of this to be honest and never really made the effort to finish using it either.  I found that it was great to apply and it was super black but also found it got patchy and dried up into little flake on my eyes.  Not matter what way I applied it be it with the brush it came with or with a different brush or even lightly it still was very dry and felt very dry on the lid.

Now you have seen my rubbish I can finally throw them out :) until the next lot builds up haha.  Is there anything you like in my rubbish bin?  Has it reached your rubbish bin yet?
Is there anything you haven't tried but want to try now ?  Are you a blogger who has posted up an empties blog post or video ?  If you are and have please share :)
Until our next rubbish chat

My Empties #2

Hello My Beauties How are you all today?
I decided to do another Empties Post, alot of you liked the last one I did so I have been stashing my empties especially for you :) :)
Let me tell you its great to finally throw them into the bin lol
I love these sort of posts and videos because you surely get a full insight to how the blogger/youtubers got on with the products and see if they would repurchase them again :)
So without further ado I shall start on mine :)

Starting from the left
Lancomes Softening Hydrating Toner:  I got 2 very decent sampled sized bottle of this product from the Lancome Event I went to.  I was super excited to try this out partly because Its not often I get the chance to try something from a high end brand like Lancome plus I wanted to see just why it costs so much.  To be honest I don't see why this product costs as much as it Smells good, Refreshes the skin like it claims and also is alcohol free I felt it didnt do anything different to what a drugstore toner did for me.  Dont get me wrong I loved using it but to be honest I would not go out there and pay around €30 for a toner not on your nelly :) :)

Elemis Softly Softly Daily Moisturiser:  I got this in one of my glossyboxes and was super excited to try it out.  If I am not mistaking this Full Sized costs about £20 to buy which again is high end in my eyes.  I have also heard that "Freshskin" range by Elemis is for teens and twenty year old's .  I didnt find any fault with this product it did hydrate my skin well and I found I used very little to cover my face and neck.  This sample lasted me for quite some time.  The scent from this moisturiser is mild and smells a little like almonds I actually liked it alot.  Would I go out and buy it again hmmmm no to be honest It didnt do anything different to what some drugstore moisturisers did to my face and for £20 per bottle I was expecting a little more from it

St Ives Daily Microdermabrasion:  I absolutely love love love this product its one of my favourite daily defoliators out there.  I mean this is amazing it smells amazing it feels amazing and the out come is amazing my skin feels smooth and soft and ready for the day :)  You can purchase this from boots and costs as little as €6.69 for 125ml I will surely be giving this a separate review soon :) :) Love it

Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 makeup-remover:  (still a favourite ) This is a favourite of mine for sure and for a long time.  Its so so affordable in fact it only sets me back about 3 to 4 euro.  This contains 2 layers the top layer (blue) is the eye makeup remover the bottom layer is suppose to be for the face.  It contains no perfume or alcohol.  The reason I love this so much is that its absolutely amazing to take of my eye makeup literally one swipe and bam gone.  I find If i use the blue layer before shaking it for the rest of my face the blue layer is more effective for the most stubborn waterproof mascaras and liners.  The only fault........ its feels quite oily and I dont particularly like oily products on my face.  The fact it does such a great job, its affordable and its brilliant even for anyone with sensitive skin I can tolerate a little oiliness.

Nivea Refreshing Toner:   This has to be the most affordable toner I have tried and loved.  This feels amazing against the skin and I find no stingy feeling while using it.  Its that gentle on the skin I have even used this around the eye area and found it had no effect on me.  I feel refreshed and I find it works great taking whatever dirt and grime thats left on my face.  It smells amazing too :) :) I will certainly be repurchasing :)

Docteur Renaud Raspberry Soft Cream Review:  I received this moisturiser in my glossybox (in which I do not get anymore)  I think this was a limited edition moisturiser For 50mls of moisturiser this would set you back a whopping £25 which is quite steep to be honest especially for just an everyday moisturiser.  Yes it smells amazing and feels really nice against the skin leaving you hydrated for the day but with that price I was expecting more even spf or something I was certainly not going to go out of my way to repurchase.  If it was cheaper I would but I think the price is a bit much

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes:  I know alot of people are against face wipes but to be honest in my opinion if you find the right facial wipes you are doing no harm to your skin I have been using them for years.  These wipes were recommended to me because I was going through a little bit of a rough time with my face and using my normal face wipes were irritating it more so I gave these a try and loved them.  They are ideal for anyone with sensitive skin and did not feel one bit scratchy which I love.  There is no oils, no alcohol, no perfume and no colouring in these but what is in them is  Pro-Votamin B5 which actively restores, softens and smoothes.  They are even gentle on the eyes.  I will be repurchasing these again for sure :)

Lush Vanilla See-Lite Body Lotion:  Oh dont even get me started on this little beauty.  Ladies if you are a vanilla scent fan or even if you are not you will love this body lotion.  Oh my goodness I got this sample sized (as big as it is) in one of their boxes and loved it from day one so much so I went back and bought the full sized bottle.  This smells out of this world even when I apply this all over people can smell the vanilla all the way downstairs.  Plus the scent lingers literally all day long on me.  My skin feels smooth and soft and leaves a beautiful healthy glow on there too.  I loved this all over the summer as it made my tan look amazing.  I highly recommend this to everyone you will love it :)

Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan:  I absolutely love this tan Check out my blog post on it to see what difference this makes.  I love how natural it makes me look and lasts up to 5 days without having to worry about patches etc.  Its amazing and for under €8 its well worth it.  Marissa Carter has done an amazing job with this product for sure and she has lots more to try out too I cant wait to try her Moisturiser which is coming out very very soon.  Plus Marissa made an announcement that Cocoa Brown will be available to purchase on all Aer Lingus flights from Dec 1st!  Happy days :)

Batiste Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:  Wow I love this product.  It has been my saviour in more ways than one.  Been a busy mum and blogger its sometimes hard to get the time to wash my hair everyday.  To be honest I wash my hair only 3 times a week because my hair lasts that long before looking in any way greasy but some days I do find I need a little pick me up so I spray a little of this in and it livens up my hair more than it does if i washed it.  Honestly the volume that I get from this is amazing and my hair looks amazing plus it smells booti-ful :) I love it

Elizabeth Ardens 5th Avenue Perfume:  This has been a favourite for many years.  I have been through many bottles of this beautiful perfume and I really hope it never goes off market.  I like to wear this scent in the winter time I dont know why but I always seem to reach for it more around that time.  The perfume has a floral scent with a spicy edge to it but its not over powering.  I think it will always be one of my favourites once you buy a bottle of it and finish it, you will find you will buy another :)

2 of my favourite foundations ever !!!!
NYX HD Studio Photogenic Foundation:  I have a review done about this foundation already which you can check out here but this foundation is amazing full stop I find it brilliant for coverage for lasting powder for photos for everything.  It gives medium coverage and feels very lightweight.  My skin looks flawless and you use very little to cover the entire face.  The only fault I find is you have to purchase it online which means finding your perfect match can be hard but if you check out as many reviews as you can you will surely end up finding your match just make sure you do not go by the shades the website gives you as it will be wrong.  Love it !!!!!!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation:  Do you know what?? The beauty blogger that I am im only realising I have never done a blog post on this tut tut tut shame on me If you would like me to review this let me know :)  This is another long time favourite of mine.  Sineady Cady from themakechair and Lisa Eldridge are also fans of this foundation.  Seeing as I am around NC20-25 I find number 52 a perfect match for me.  The formula is very light and takes very little effort to apply.  I like to use a stippling brush like my Favourite foundation brush the Blank Canvas Cosmetics F20 Brush.  The finish is light to medium coverage and leaves my skin looking flawless.  I just love how natural it makes my skin look without giving away the fact I am wearing a foundation I love it !!!!!  The one thing I will have to say is that I would love if they would bring out more shades as there is only 5 shades to choose from but this is a perfect foundation for anyone with pale skin

Mally Volumising Mascara:  I have to say I fell into the you-tube hype on this mascara.  After hearing Itsjudystime and Emily Noels raving reviews about this I just had to see what the hype was about.  I did a full review on this mascara in which you can check out here .  I loved it but to be honest I found it dried out too quick And paying £17.50 per mascara is way too much for it to dry out after 2 months.

MUA Extreme Volume Mascara:  I have already reviewed this mascara and included photos of course but I just have to say for a £2 mascara this works pretty darn well !!! I was well impressed with the formula, with its performance and most of all with the wand.  For a super affordable product this is definitely worth a try.  I have even bought back ups of this I love it :)

Maxfactor 2000 Calorie Mascara:  There was one day I was reading through Fluff & Flipperies blog and Emma had a post up about Maxfactors Mascara's and the fact that they are 20 years old I thought that was amazing.  I was curious to find out what the formula was like especially what it was like 20 years ago.  So I searched online to see if I could get my hands on it.  I finally found it on Fragrance Direct for £4.50.  I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this.  The formula is not too wet, its jet black and also easy to apply what i love is the brush its curved and grabs every lash.  The finish result is nice full curled lashes.  It wouldnt be the type of lashes for night time but its certainly a during the day mascara :)

Avon SuperShock Mascara:  I absolutely love love love this mascara.  This has always been a favourite of mine for as long as I can remember.  Its amazing the brush is brilliant it grabs every lash, the formula is amazing its not too wet or dry its just right.  The finish is what you call perfect I have fuller longer lashes and it lasts until i take it off.  Its just such a pity Ireland do not have Avon anymore I miss it so so much :(

Before i begin my apologies for this been so grubby but i suppose thats what happens with brow gels with clear packaging :(
e.l.f Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Mascara:  I have loved this product since I first tried it 2 years ago.  For a £1.50 products this holds my brows into place literally all day long.  I love it.  You have one side for brows and one side for lashes.  I use both sides for my brows to make the product last longer :) :) I highly recommend you all to try it out if you havent already :)

Mac Eyebrow Pencil in Lingering:  I won this in a competition.  I have to admit I used it every single day I used it.  It was the perfect shade for my brows and the finish was as natural as you could get it.  I never had to set it and it lasted all day long without smudging one little bit.  I nearly cried when I ran out of this as I loved it that much but to be honest I cant bring myself to repurchase because of the price of it and the fact you only get 0.09gs of product for it.  There are plenty of dupes for this brow pencil out there that is a fraction of the price.

Wow Finally I am finished haha I hope I didnt bore you with this extra long post :)  Is there anything in this bunch that is your favourites or that isnt?  Let me know what are your thoughts on these :)
Until next time

My Empties #1

Hey my beauties how are you all doing today :)
This is going to be my first ever empties post :)  I have been gathering for a couple of months now and my gathering bag is getting a little full lol
I do not know about you but I absolutely love watch videos on everyones empties and of course reading blog posts on empties too I think the reason is you know the person has used the product up completely and can give an in depth review on it weither they like it or not you know they have put it to the REAL test.
So I thought I would join in on this and start posting my empties from now on some you might see in more than one post and become my favourites and some might not be a favourite and I might not ever purchase again :)  If you want to see this on a regular basis let me know :)
So let me go ahead and show you all :)   Now I have decided to break this down because If I include all of these in one blog post you will end up falling asleep lol So this blog post will be On the beauty products for the face and face and hair products I have used up.

Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 makeup-remover:  This is a favourite of mine for sure and for a long time.
Garnier Simply Essentials soothing eye makeup remover:   This is basically for anyone who has very sensitive eyes and needs a soothing eye makeup remover thats not going to sting the life out of them or take no effort removing makeup.  This is liquid based which mean no oil and to be honest its not as good as the 1st one I spoke about.  Its fine for anyone who doesnt wear alot of makeup around the eyes but not for the heaviest of makeup.  This cost me about 2.30 euro and to be honest I probably will buy it again but not in a hurry .
Garnier Fresh Essentials Grape Water eye makeup remover:   To be honest this is the worst out of the 3 I found it not doing what it claims and that is removing waterproof eye makeup,  this takes quite a few rubs of the cotton pad to remove and i hate that because the eye area is so delicate I will not be purchasing again
Nivea Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover:   I love Nivea full stop as some of you who have been with me a while will know.  I love their moisturisers I love there body washes I love everything so I thought I will in no doubt love this :) .  Again this is so so affordable so affordable it costs less than 3 euro.  It has the same idea as the 1st Garnier remover comes in two layers.  Again this is oily in fact more oily than the Garnier one yes it does remove the eye makeup even waterproof but not as good and to be honest I found my eyes stung a little while using it its a no no from me :(
The Famous Lynx Attract for Her Spray
I absolutely LOVE this spray its been a favourite of mine for the past I dont know how long basically since it was released last year :)
There is not one bad thing about this spray its smells amazing even my 3 year old girl says "lemme smell mammy"  I have got so many compliments wearing this.  Fruity, floral and woody fragrance. A vibrant colourful mixture of succulent fruit creates an enticing fusion while floral notes leave a feminine accord.  A vibrant colourful mixture of succulent fruit creates an enticing fusion while floral notes leave a feminine accord. Bottom notes of wood, musk and vanilla give the fragrance a sheer creaminess. As described and I say AMEN to that LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Garnier pure Anti-blackhead deep pore wash:  I ran out of my usual daily face wash (which i will review soon I have it on my list for ages and ages but somehow always by pass I think I just take too much for granted I think but I love it so much)  There was none of my usual on the shelf so I decided to go for this as it was on sale for around 2 euro.  It comes in a gel like for with teeny tiny beads in each squirt to gentle ex-foliate your face.  To be honest I found this to do nothing for me yes my skin felt smooth and soft but I didnt notice much of a change or difference for me to go and repurchase.  I still prefer my usual daily face wash
Nivea Pure & Natural Cleansing Toner:  I love this 100% no doubt in my mind.  I actually love all of Nivea's Pure & Natural range.  With 95% of the ingredients of natural origin.   Free from Parabens, Silicones, Colourants and Mineral Oils.  This is a brilliant toner for under 3 euro.  There is no strong smell of alcohol off it like you get from some toners and I find my skin doesnt feel tight after using it plus it works great.  LOVE IT!!!!!
Primark 4 in 1 deep facial cleansing wipes:  NO NO NO I hate them I dont suffer with sensitive skin as such but by heck these stung the hell out of me my face felt like i scrubbed with with a brillo pad.  Even my daughter handed them back to me saying they stung her so much.  I will be sticking with my long time favourites I think
Monu Revitalising moisturiser:  I got this in one of my glossy boxes and to be honest I thought "awwww yet another moisturiser to throw into a box" but girlies let me tell you I LOVE THIS.  In fact I love it so much I squeezed the bejeebies out of it and was so sad to see that i could not get anymore out.  This left my skin so so hydrated, soaked into my skin as soon as it hit it but made my skin look so fresh and dewy,  The scent is not strong but you do get the smell of cucumbers off it love it.  It sort of has a cooling effect when you first apply it which is great if you have just ex-foliated and feel kinda flushed :)  Its such a pity its expensive this will set you back £17 or there abouts for 50mls hmmmmm I would consider it but so feel there might be bigger and better for that price :)  But if there was an offer going on this I will be barging through everyone to stock up lol
Loreal Elvive Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo:  Since I started using this shampoo which must be about 6 months ago now I have noticed a complete difference in my hair and even my hairdresser asked me what am i using that my hair has got so much better from been dry dull and lifeless.  I simply told him I changed my Shampoo and conditioner and also bought the treatment of this aswell.  I love this and still to this day using it.  The scent is amazing.  If you are thinking of buying this I highly recommend you get the treatment with it :) :) This shampoo was on offer for 3.75 euro super affordable :)
V05 Volume Boost Gel Spray:  This is my HG for sure.  I remember about a year ago I made a video about the fact that my hair has lost its life.  After having the twins I lost handful of hair for 6 months solid and the one thing I missed most in the world was my natural curls.  I found even moose wasnt doing anything it was just giving me a wave.  Even when I used curling thongs the curls would eventually fall almost flat.  That was until I came across this little beauty :)   This stuff is absolute amazing and holds my curl all day long I cant live without it.  I basically wash my hair towel dry it, flip my head down spritz some into my hair scrunch it up then flick back my hair spritz a little more scrunch it up and your ready to go no hair dryer nothing and bam curly natural hair love it :) It does feel a little stiff but if you scrunch your hair it looks natural and bouncy and the next day you still have a nice wavy soft look in fact your hair feels as smooth and soft as if you used nothing in it :) This gives the most amazing volume ever im in love  Top marks to this beauty for sure :)
Batiste Diva Dry Shampoo:  Ok I have to admit this is the very first dry shampoo ever in my life that I have tried.  Yes I know shock Horror Gasp!!!!! But true :)  The is no real point in me going on telling you about the product is there im sure all of you or at least most of you know what the whole idea of the dry shampoo is all about.  I love this product I find it brilliant that you get an extra day plus plenty of volume in this little tin.  I have been on the look out for the brunette one which is suppose to be even better for all of us dark haired people but havent yet got my hands on it.  Love this :)
Garnier Intensive 7 Days Hand Cream
This is my HG hand moisturiser!!!!!  If you are like me a busy mum who uses different household products, has hands in water more than out of it and suffers with dermatitis most of the year due to not drying your hands properly because of rushing and racing around this is the cream from you.  To be honest I neglected my hands for the past few weeks by not moisturising them and doing ordinary everyday jobs around the house.  Plus my skin did not agree with a washing powder I was trying out and I was covered in a rash and extremely dry skin.  My hands got that bad i was scratching them so hard when i was sleeping they bled.  I had enough and ran to my Garnier hand cream this is day 4 of applying when ever I get the chance and my hands look 10 years younger I love it The scent is gorgeous and it leaves no oiliness soaks right in :) Plus it cost less than 5 euro BARGAIN BEAUTY!!!!!
Nivea Visage Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream:  YES ANTI-WRINKLE!!!!! Its never too early to start and I am not getting any younger :) :)
I decided to try this out one day as it was on a great offer and my usual day cream was not available at the time so what better chance to try this out than when it is on a great offer.  I usually use the Nivea Pure & Natural which is amazing so going for something with SPF 15 is even better right ?
Well I have to admit I really enjoyed using this cream.  The scent is a little stronger than the one I normally use but bearable.  It sort of smells like strong baby powder.  A little goes a long way and my skin feels moisturised all day.  As in it working on wrinkle well sure I couldnt really tell you anything about that as im in my prime I dont have wrinkles I have laughing lines hahaha ok in all honesty I wouldnt say it works miracles on wrinkles but the fact it has spf15 in it will surely help prevent your face from sun damage etc that causes wrinkles ;)
I would surely buy this again because of that reason.
Ok I think I will leave it there :) :) If you haven't fallen asleep already :) Let me know what you think of this blog post would you like to see this on a regular basis.  My next blog post will be on Makeup products I have finished.
Is there any of these products you like and use?
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter
