Wet N Wild 8 Pan Eyeshadow Palette In Nude Awakening..... Naked Palette Dupe Alert

Hello My Gorgeous Readers How are you all today?
I am so so sorry for the lack of blog posts lately but I have a really good excuse.  I am trying to do up my house before Christmas painting, getting rid of unwanted items and of course trying to get storage set up and its alot of work especially when you have the normal everyday runnings of the house with 5 children.  Its really starting to get together now thank goodness so here I am with another review for you and I promise I will be more regular with my posts :) :)
Oh by the way I have a nice Little giveaway on my facebook page for any of you who fancy winning 2 of my favourite products Check it out here
Today I have a Urban Decay Naked Palette Dupe for you :)  A More affordable amazing palette :) :) of course from Wet N Wild :)   I am telling you the more products I get from this brand the more I want and love it.  Its such a pity Its not available anywhere else except America

Spring 2013 was an exciting time for all Wet N Wild fans when the company released 2 limited edition 8 pan palettes and I am delighted to have one in my collection.  The other palette is called "Going in the Wild".
Both palettes looked amazing but I just had to choose this one as you can not fail with a neutral palette plus the moment I seen it I thought Naked!!!!!!
TADAAAAAAAAAAAAA Aint it Purdyyyyyyyyyyyy :)

First of all let me just say I am loving the packaging.  Its a nice change from the typical black case they normally have for their eyeshadows .  Its bright cheerful and full of life :) :)
Nothing has change apart from that.

Ok let get on to these amazing shadows :) :) Starting with the left side

Browbone:  This shade is one you have to work with and is one of the less pigmented shades in the palette its a nice semi matte vanilla shade with tiny specks of shimmers.  This is a perfect highlight shade and lid colour.  The colour can be built up to a nice pigmented shade and does look amazing.  This is a Dupe of UD "Virgin" to be honest I do prefer Virgin as its alot more pigmented and alot more noticable

Eyelid:  This is a light bronze shade with shimmers.  This shade feels so so creamy and soft and gives a nice satin finish.  I found the pigmentation amazing from this shade and looks amazing ove Maybellines Color Tattoo in Bad to Bronze :) :) This is the dupe of UD "Sidecar"  There is not a huge difference between these two shades apart from maybe "Sidecar" bee a little more on the orange side

Crease:  This is the only Matte shade in the whole of the palette i'm afraid.  This is the perfect transition colour or even crease colour.  A perfect soft creamy matte brown I love it.  This is the dupe of UD "Buck"  Buck is a little darker than this shade but to be honest I prefer this shade

Definer:  A Deep Dark Brown with shimmers going This is the perfect crease and outer V shade.  The shimmers are literally unnoticeable if you did want to use it in the crease and let me tell you this shade is highly pigmented soft and blends amazingly.  This is the Dupe of UD "Dark Horse" again "Dark Horse" is a little darker than this shade but to be honest I prefer this shade as I find "Dark Horse" can be a little messy sometimes whereas this shade applies like a dream with no fall out

Next up is Right Hand side :) :)

Browbone:  Awwww I love love love this shade :) :)  This is a beautiful bronzey browns with a tint of pink going through it.  This is incredibly pigmented and feels smooth and cream.  Just love it.  This is the Dupe of UD "Toasted" Ok Toasted wins this time as its alot more deeper in shade but its not a bad match

Eyelid:  awwww another amazing shade.  A dark brown with a slight burgundy finish.  This feels smooth and creamy and blends amazing a little goes a long way :) :) This is the Dupe of UD "Hustle"  Again not a massive difference apart from the quality I find this shade better than hustle in the fact it feels smoother and creamier and applies like a dream

Crease:  A Stunning deep grey with silver shimmers.  The shimmers can be blended into nothing if used on the crease.  I did find this shade to be a little chalky and expect some fallout otherwise a great pigmented shade.  This is of course the Dupe of UD "Gunmetal" as you will see Gunmetal is alot deeper and pigmented but again not a bad match

Definer:  This shade is a Shimmer black the shimmers are chunky.  A little goes a long way as its hugely pigmented.  I did find you have to build this black to make it look black as when first applied it looks more like a very deep grey because of the shimmers.  This is the dupe of UD "Creep"  I have to say "Creep" wins me over because the black is alot more intense that this shade

Here is all the shades together and can I add that these swatches are made with no primer underneath

Here is the swatches of  the comparisions of the wet n wild nude awakening and the Urban Decay Naked Palette dupe shades :)
You will notices some of the shades are not exact but are close and then you will notice some of them exactly the same :)  All Swatches are made with no primer underneath

Here is a day time look using the Wet N Wild Nude Awakening

Overall I think Wet n Wild have done an amazing job on copying the Naked Palette and to be honest there is a few Shades in the Wet N Wild Palette I prefer over the Naked.  For a very affordable palette this has surely become another of my favourites and has been used alot since I got it.
Where to get this palette I hear you ask.  Well I got mine on Ebay, you just have to be lucky enough to catch a seller who is selling it at the right price or near it and you can also get both limited Edition Palettes on the Non Pariel Website where they are selling both palettes for $15 for a limited time only.
Have you tried this palette yet ?
Until Next Time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

I love love love hearing from you all :) I make it my duty to read each and every one of you comments and every time i get a comment from you it highlights my day thanks so so much to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wet N Wild Color Icon 8 Pan Eyeshadow Palette in Petal Pusher

Hello My beautiful gorgeous readers How are you all today :)
Well incase you havent guessed It I got my hands on some more Wet N Wild Products thanks to a fantastic fellow beauty blogger who agreed to do a swap with me a couple of months ago :) :)  My swap was with the beautiful Shannon from The Creation of Beauty is Art .
Shannon wanted to try out some products that she could not get easily where is is from in America and of course I want to try some I couldnt get either I got some Wet n Wild products which I am absolutely over the moon about as I love love love Wet n Wild.  Plus I wanted to try some other products I have never tried before :)
Here is a picture of what I got from Shannon in which I will be reviewing bit by bit :)

So today I am reviewing The Wet N Wild 8 Pan Eyeshadow palette in Petal Pusher as this is the only 8 pan palette I didnt get my hands on :) :)
If you missed my review on the Comfort Zone Check it out here This is one of my favourtie eyeshadow palettes to use I love it and Shannon was kind enough to send me a back up :)
and I also have the Blue Had me at Hello Which you can see here
I was super super excited when I finally got Petal Pusher as I knew that it contained some of my favourite colours :)
Wet n Wild is available in America and some sites on the net so it is not impossible to get Wet n Wild.  I will add link at the end to where you could purchase some for yourself :)
Anyway back to this fantastic palette
These cost an amazing $5 each yes $5 which is less than 4 euro for 8 eyeshadows bargain bargain bargain !!!!!!!
Eight dynamic, perfectly color-coordinated shades with high pigment and pearl for ultra-impact color. Shades can be used together or individually to create an endless variety of looks.
The packaging is brilliant for the price too.  There is no mirror just a clear lid showing the shades.  The lid is sturdy enough not to break in your bag but if it did get a bad bang it will crack.
You are also getting an applicator one side is a sponge type brush and the other is a slanted brush which is handy if you didnt own any brushes of your own.

I know I said Comfort Zone was my favourite but I have too say this Palette is my 2nd favourite.  It contains a beautiful mixture of pinks and purples its absolutely stunning  There is a mixture of shimmer and frosty shade and as you can see there is no matte but I dont mind that.
So let me show you these beautiful shades close up :)  Keep in mind All swatches are made with no primer underneath

Starting with the Left side
Browbone :  Is a shimmer white with a tint of purple in it.  This is a perfect highlight shade but I did find this shade to be less pigment than the rest of the shades
Eyelid :  This is a stunning satin Pinky mauve shade.  This is amazingly pigmented and very easy to work with a perfect blending shade
Crease : This is an absolutely stunning shade.  A stunning deep purple with silver shimmers.  This is a very pigmented shade and a little goes a long long way.  I did find this shade creates some fallout so be extra careful.
Definer:  This is a bluey purple with silver shimmers I found this less pigment than I expected.  I also found it to be a bit on the chalky side but with a good primer this works great :)

Now for the right side :)
Browbone:  This beautiful stunning bright shade I absolutely love :)  Its a very pigmented frosty icey Pink.  This feel smooth soft and buttery a little goes and long way.
Eyelid:  A deep burgandy shade with gold shimmers  this surprisingly was again less pigmented than I anticipated it is pigmented dont get me wrong but I found i had to build up the colour in the swatch.
Crease:  I actually thought this was a black but I was wrong its a beautiful deep dark brown with a burgandy undertone to it.  There is specks of shimmers in this shade but you barely notice it when on the eyes
Definer:  This shade look more of a dark grey in the pan but it could pass for a black as its that dark this shade has silver shimmers in it.  You will also experience a little fallout with it but nothing to crazy :)  A little goes a long way

I can not recommend this palette enough to you all especially if you like purples and pinks :)  This palette is amazing for the price and most of the palette is hugely pigmented.  The lasting power of these shadows especially worn over a primer lasts all day long and even into the night.  I found no fading.
Here is a look I did with the palette
I used the 1st shade on the right all over the lid
the 2nd shade on the left as a blending shade
the 3rd shade on the left on the outer 3rd of the lid and into the crease
and the last shade on the right on the outer V
I used NYX Jumbo pencil in Yogurt as a primer

I really hope Wet N Wild make more of these palettes as I know for sure i would buy each and every one of them for a drug store brand they do an amazing job and have amazing quality.
Do you own any of these palettes?
What's your thoughts on them
You can buy these palettes on ebay or on the Non Pariel Site (keep in mind this site can be expensive on postage depending on how much you order)
Until next time

Wet n Wild 8 Pan Palette - Comfort Zone Review

Hello my beautifuls how are you all doing today.  Lordy im looking outside and im hating what im seeing.  Its dark and dull all day long and of course raining but its mild so i cant complain too much.
Do you remember I took part in a swap about 3 months ago or so ?  I done two blog posts so far on the items i recieved which was a) The Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Color  and b) Milani Shadow Eyez 12 hour Wear Eyeshadow Pencils both of which were on my wishlist :) Well today I am reviewing another item i recieved in the swap and was also on my wishlist and that is the Wet n Wild 8 pan Eye-shadow Palette in Comfort Zone which i found extremely hard to get but thanks to Shirley she got it for me :) yeeeeeeeee
I am a huge huge fan of Wet n Wild eye-shadows as you will see lots of reviews on my blog about them and i only wish Wet n Wild would become available over here some time in the near future please :)
Wet n Wild however is available in America and some sites on the net so it is not impossible to get Wet n Wild.  I will add link at the end to where you could purchase some for yourself :)
Anyway back to this fantastic palette
There is only 3 different shades of the 8 pan palettes available
Blue had me at hello
Comfort Zone
Petal Pusher
This palette is by far my favourite out of the 2 8 pans I own.  Blue had me at hello is made up of blues, silvers and blacks whereas Comfort Zone is made up of Neutral and and greens.  This palette is so so perfect for Fall/Autumn looks.
I can actually see some Urban Decay and Mac dupes in this palette for sure.
Starting with the row down on the left:
Browbone shade is a shimmery goldy shade this is perfect for the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eyes or you could use this as a base.  I find this a little too shimmery for the brow as i am more on the pale side but a woman of colour will benefit from this as a brow highlight :)
The eyelid shade is a shimmery bronze pink shade.  This looks stunning on the lid it really opens up the eyes.
The crease shade is a beautiful goldy bronze shade again shimmery :) this is stunning and could also be used on the lid :) This reminds me so much of Urban Decays eyeshadow "Smog"
The definer shade is a deep dark brown with reddish and coppery shimmers this is absolutely stunning and one of my favourites.  The pigmentation is absolutely unreal from this and you will find the tiniest tap of the brush will do alot
Next is the row on the right side:
The browbone shade is quite an unusual highlight shade its a pale taupe gold I would certainly not use this under the brow.  But i would use it as an inner corner highlight or inner 2/3's :) its a stunning shade i really like it :)
The eyelid shade is a stunning shimmery green with gold shimmer.  A perfect lid shade :)
The Crease shade is stunning :) its a black with green and gold shimmer this is a bit on the powdery side and can create fall out if you are not careful but is very pigmented :)
The definer is a great dupe for Mac's "Club" this is a stunning shade rusky brown green duochrome eyeshadow again very powdery but very very pigmented
All swatches were made with no primer underneath.  These shadows feel amazingly soft and creamy.  They are amazingly pigmented each and every one of them even the highlight shades.  You are certainly getting huge value for your money for these little beauties.  They blend extremely well.  With a primer and a base they last all day long without fading which is amazing too.  What more can I really say about this palette only that everyone should have it really I mean that from the bottom of my heart its well well worth it.
Here is some links to where you can purchase this palette :)
I hope you enjoyed this review.  I have one more item in 2 different shades to review from this swap which will be coming soon :)
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and laughter
