Makeup Revolution Out of this World Merged Eyeshadow Collection Review

Hello my Gorgeous Beautiful Readers (Yes YOU ARE ALL GORGEOUS)
I hope you are all well
I can not believe I have been so slow with my Makeup Revolution Reviews.  I am sure alot of you had seen my huge haul picture I posted up on FB last month and not only that i had ordered more items since posting that picture but in all honesty I have been so busy with life in general and not only that having fun playing with my new products :)
So today I am bring to you one of Makeup Revolutions great deals going and that is the Out of this World Merged Eyeshadow Collection which contains 8 eyeshadows and only costs £1.50 each but if you buy all 8 eyeshadows you get 2 for free :) :) So technically you are only paying £9 for 8 eyeshadows.    You can buy them separate and not as a collection but that deal was too good to miss out on.
This collection of course is one that I just could resist after all I am a huge fan of baked makeup products.   If you are new to baked eyeshadow I will give you a low down to what they are.
Baked shadows are a mixture of mineral pigments that are formed into domes and baked so that the moisture evaporates and all of the minerals, pigments and shimmers are left behind leaving you with a beautiful new texture of eyeshadow.
They can be used wet or dry and usually have tiny shimmery particles that leave a gorgeous shimmer to the lid without being too overpowering.  When applied dry, the shimmer is soft and pretty and when applied wet, the pigment is intense and the shimmer effect almost becomes a foiled effect.
If you haven't tried a baked shadow yet you have to get your hands on one.
Ok so now that we have this lesson over with lets get on to the eyeshadows :) :) First up is

Heavenly:  This is one I was really looking forward to trying out.  Its cream eyeshadow with a bronze going through it wow this eyeshadow is fabulous.  This is the perfect highlight eyeshadow for the inner corners of your eyes to really open them up.  I have also used this on the brow brow and also as a highlight on my face.  Yes they can be used on the face too.  This is a stunning shade for even on the lid to really give you the eye wide awake look.  I wore this with another of these eyeshadows a few days ago and it worked wonders on making me look fresh and awake and ready for the day even though I only have 2 hours sleep :) :)
Beautiful really is one you should have in your collection :)
The below picture is a swatch of it dry and a swatch of it wet.  I simply dampened my brush and applied
Next up is

Limitness:  Awww Just look how the sun catches the colours isnt it beautiful :) :)  This shade I am sure you all will love especially you neutral lovers out there.  As you can see there is 3 different shades of gold in this pan there is light gold medium gold and a dark bronze shade but altogether you get a fantastic copper shade and I have to say you get away it wearing this only dry.  The pigmentation is amazing dry and you will see by the swatched there is not a huge difference between the dry and wet swatch Lovely shade :) :)

Next up is

Celestial:  This is a mixture of white, gold green and a darkened green shade but swatched together makes a green you wouldnt see in a normal palette believe me.  This shade is beautifully pigmented and yet I found it quite sparkly.  I do have to warn when using this shade expect a little fallout.  I have to admit I had to apply this to my eyes before I put on my foundation as its a darker shade.  Its still beautiful :)

Next is

Blue Planet:  Just take a moment to look at this eyeshadow.  Isn't it fantastic and wouldn't it just take you imagination to some planet in space it certainly would remind you of it wouldn't it.  Anyways as you can see there is a mixture of bronze, baby blue and a deep blue in this eyes shadow but thats more is I cant help prefer using this shade wet.  Its absolutely stunning Need I say more?  You have to get this one for sure see the swatches below

Ok (slurp) Next shade is

Galactic:  Another Neutral shade for you all to drool over and this shade works great with the first shade Heavenly.  A Beautiful combination of dark brown and 2 different shades of gold bringing you a beautiful bronzed brown.  I love this full stop its hugely pigmented and looks even better when applied wet.  You cant go wrong with this

Next up is

Starburst:  Wow a perfect name for this one for sure.  We have a mixture of gold, silver and a black.  Boy this shade surely surprised me because when I swatched it first Dry I found it very sheer especially with it been a darker shade but to my surprise when swatching it wet it surely showed me its true colours LITERALLY!!! Intense pigmentation and a stunning Starburst effect check it out :) :)

Next up is

Moon Dust:  This is surely another eye opener because to be honest I was a little confused what type of shade this was going to end up to be lol.  We are getting a mixture of a copper bronze, a charcoal and silver in this pan.  When I swatched it dry it just looked like a sheer charcoal shade but when swatched wet wow its actually a black
Very pigmented with what looks like silver sparkles going through it

And last but not least is

Astral:  Awww well if you know me you will know that I am super happy this shade is in the collection.  I love me some purples :)  We are getting a mixture of light purple medium purple and silver in this pan and I was super excited to see what the finished shade would be like.  I have to admit I was impressed with the shade swatched dry.  Its light and a perfect shade for during the day when swatched wet it gives you a stunning violet with tints of silver beautiful shade and I am sure you all will agree is the perfect shade of purple :) :)

Phewww And now there you have it all the eye shadows plain to see they look absolutely amazing Right?  Especially for the price you are getting what you paying for :)  I to be honest have found no faults with these beauties they are all amazing and blend out beautifully.  If I was to pick a fault I would have to say you will find fallout from this but to be honest you have to expect that from baked eyeshadows.  As they are not pressed like normal eyeshadows so you are better off not applying your foundation until after you do your eyes with these.  Otherwise you are going to end up looking like a disco ball.  :)  They are definitely worth trying if not all of them pick one but im sure you will find it hard to choose just one from this collection :) :)
As Mentioned above I had to use some of these eyeshadow to create a daytime look to make me look more awake after only getting 2 hours sleep :) so I used
Heavenly (wet) all over the lid and in the inner corner
Some Galactic (dry) on the outer corner of the lid blend inwards and a little into the crease and lastly a little moon dust (dry) on the outer V bringing it to the bottom lash line I also used a matte brown eyeshadow to blend the colours together and above the crease.  I used a matte cream eyeshadow on the brow bone as I had enough shimmer on the lid :) :)  Of course just when I was taking the second photos the sun had to shine at its best and I didnt realise it would make me look lighter lol but you get the idea :) :)

I really hope you enjoyed this review let me know what you think?  So you think you will be purchasing any of these :)
Until next time Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

SOAP & GLORY DEEP PURIFYING HOT CLOTH CLEANSER

Hello My beauties I hope you are all well :)
This might be hard to believe but I have never ever tried anything from Soap & Glory before.  I know I know shame on me but to be honest when it first came out on the market I wasnt exactly keen on the scent of their products.  I like sweet smelling products but found I got a headache every time I smelt these products in particular.  Since then I have been seen alot of great reviews about Soap & Glory and they fact their product are so good.  So I ventured into Boots one day and browsed through their lovely display and picked up this product to try out :) :)  Plus I have to add since Smelling their products in the beginning I have noticed The scent has changed and varied.  They now have different scented products so thumbs up to that :)
You might remember me reviewing something like this from another brand about 2 months ago Human  Kind's All In One Facial Cleanser it ended up been one of my favourite cleansers I have tried to date.  Well I was beginning to run low on it and decided before buying it again I would try this out.  It was on offer at the time so I have to snatch it up right?

I have to say even though I have never tried Soap & Glory products before I have always been impressed with their packaging.  You can tell they take pride in it and it shows.  Its so girly I love it :)

Soap & Glory Claims:    Who needs a facial when you can stay at home and enjoy The Ultimelt from Soap & Glory? It's super-concentrated, smoothing, revitalising, and deep cleansing – like a detox spa for your skin.
• super-concentrated cleansing, smoothing and revitalising
• melts away make-up
• rebalances and brightens
• for all skin types (except those sensitive to essential oils)
Inside the pretty box you are getting a nicely sized tube of the cleanser and also the muslin cloth.  The first thing I noticed was the weight of this tube of cleanser and boy for a medium sized tube it certainly feels jammed with product.  To be honest the first thing I noticed and was not impressed with was the cloth.  When I opened it it it looked and felt more like a hanky in which I have plenty of.  It is nothing like the cloth I got with my Human & Kind All in One Facial Cleanser.  Boy that cloth is amazing !!!!!! I mean it :) :)   In all fairness I still gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it :)

I am sorry But this cloth was way too harsh and to be honest if you have acne prone skin or have breakouts this cloth is gonna hurt big time !!!!! I think a more softer cloth would be better.
Onto the cleanser itself

I was really impressed with one thing and that is that you are getting Provitamin B5 which has a natural ability to soothe, moisturise heal and regenerate the skin.
This cleanser also contains Almond oil which contain vitamin a,c and e it is also known to lock moisture into your skin without blocking your pores.  Not only that Almond oil is good for dark circles which might explain Soap & Glorys claims that this cleanser brightens the skin.  Almond Oil is also known to remove dead skin cells and remove impurities

There is also Clary Sage which is said that it balances and regulates the production of natural oils in the skin, reducing both oily and dry skin and makes your skin look young and beautiful.
Just to note that it is rumoured that Essential oils are bad for acne prone skin and some people do believe that Essential oils do actually effect their skin and flare ups.  Well I can tell you according to research that essential oils are actually not all that bad and can actually be good for acne prone skin.   For instance Rose Oil is an anti-inflammatory with helps reduce flare ups helping them to heal.  Also Orange Oil is good for anyone who has dull and oily skin :)
Lavender Oil is an anti-inflammatory an antiseptic and an anti-fungal
Now I am not saying you will not get a reaction from these oils I am just saying dont judge that they will affect you from what you see in the ingredients :) :)  Do your research and even if you are still unsure simply do a skin test before you use the product as it does state as a warning on the package that Essential Oil may cause irritation on extreme sensitive skin

Now that that topic is over with lets get back to my thoughts on this :)

The consistency of the cleanser is very very thick in fact I got a wee bit worried at the fact it was so thick coming out of the tube but once I spread it out with my warm fingers I noticed it started to melt onto my skin and got easier to spread out.  Once I massaged this on my face for 2 minutes I barely noticed the thickness of the cleanser.  I could get the scents of the lavender and orange while massaging this in but its not very strong and smells very nice.  The cleanser does in fact feel oily against the skin but nothing too heavy.  My skin felt like it was soaking up the product but I didnt feel like it was smoothing my skin.

Ok I know the directions said take the cloth after massaging the cleanser on your face and press the product off you face.  Now im sorry but how can you possibly press off a cleanser which contains essential oils off your face by pressing a cloth on your face no im sorry it doesnt work that way.  So I wiped the cleanser off my face and yes it took alot of my make-up off my face :) :)
* *Do not let this cleanser go near your eyes it burns like crazy believe me I know !!!!!!**
I did feel I had to go in with my Garnier Micellar Water just to seal the deal and I have to admit i needed it there was still a wee bit of product left on my face.  I think that was because of the cloth in all honesty because the second time I tried it I used the cloth I got with the Human & Kind cleanser and it worked alot better so much better I found my face was squeezy clean and didnt need a going over with the Micellar Water

In all the cleanser itself is good and does do its job.  It removes alot of your makeup and leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean.  It did not irratate my skin at all.  You do have to be extra careful around the eye area or it will burn.  I can tell this product is going to last for a very long time because its so thick and you only need a pea sized amount to do your entire face.  I just hate the cloth its horrible !!!!!!
Would I purchase again ??? Maybe yes but to be honest I do miss my Human & Kind All in One Cleanser as I feel more satisfaction from that than this cleanser.

So that is my very long review (Sorry about that)  I hope this was helpful
Until next time

The Body Shop Body Sorbets

Hello Beauties :) :) I hope you are all well :)
Todays review is on one of The Body Shops latest releases.  This is especially for the Spring/Summer months
Its the New Body Sorbets :) :)
If you are a fan of The Body Shops Body Butters you are going to love these :)
Who does not love Their Body Butters They are amazing :) :)
If you havent tried them you really should as they are so moisturising, long last and smell delish!!!!
Well The Body Shop listened to their customers when they said that sometimes their Body Butters are too heavy and thick for the Spring/Summer months So they came up with the perfect solution for those hot sticky months (well here in Ireland we wished we had that weather as I look out the window at the thunder storm we are having)
Of course these Body Sorbets can be used all year round but I think we are going to appreciate them more on the hotter days :)
Of course they paid extra attention to people most favourite scents and made 5 different scents Body Sorbets for us There are
Strawberry Sorbet
Mango Sorbet
Moringa Sorbet
Satsuma Sorbet
Pink Grapefruit Sorbet
They cost €13.50 for 200mls which is a brilliant price for the amount of product we are getting

What I love about these is that it comes in a tube which is even more convenient.  I love the body butters but sometimes it can be annoying having to dip my fingers into the product each time I use it.  Its not very hygienic and I have to make sure all the time to keep my fingers clean.  Not only that the product can get under my nails which can me a pain.  I still use the body butters because they are irresistible :)   Having the Sorbet in the tube makes in a hurry days so much easier :) :)

These Sorbets are packed full of Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera which you and I both know Aloe Vera is 100% pure goodness for your skin and also very good for cooling down the skin

The Body Sorbet is a gel like moisturiser that literally melts and dries into the skin instantly.  There is no oily residue and the moisturiser is super light on the skin.  What you are left it is super soft and healthy looking skin.  Plus the added bonus of smell absolutely amazing all day long.  Yes the scent lingers all day leaving you wanting to smell your arms all day :) Well I do anyway haha

This feels amazing on the skin and you instantly feel the cooling effect which feels lovely.  The best thing about this is that you can store it in the fridge for an even more cooling effect :) :)  They certain do what they say giving you 24 hours moisture but to be honest if have super dry skin this on it own will not do for you.
My favourite scent out of these two is Moringa I absolutely adore it and have been using it none stop since I got it.  The scent is light and fresh.  I can not pin point the scent as such (as I am not really good at that) but wearing this certainly reminds me of the Spring/Summer seasons with that fresh floral scent it is light yet beautiful and I have certainly got noticed wearing it :)
The Mango Scent is also very light and of course smells fruity :)  I do like it but it wouldn't be a scent I would reach for often.  My kiddies love it though and especially love when I use this on them after their bath (I think they especially love the massage I give them while I put this on lol)
Overall I think these are great for the days you don't feel like putting on those heavy body butters and moisturisers or when you are on the go to get out of the day 5 minutes ago
For the days you need extra moisture you can always turn to your body butters :)

Have you tried these yet ?  Which is your favourite scents
Until next time

Powderpocket Box May 2014

Hello My beauties
Its that time again :) :) Its the May Powderpocket Box
Boy oh Boy did I get excited with this months theme.  This edition is called the "Sweet Treat Edition" and to be honest who doesnt like a bit of sweetness in their lives :) :)
Of course with pastel colours been a huge trend this season Powderpocket treated us with a lovely bright blue box compared to their usual black box.  I know for a fact I will put this box to good use :) :) I love it

As always we got a nice mini magazine which contains all the information we want about the products we got in our box.  Plus what I loved about this months magazine is that they shared some of our tweets which goes to show they read everything we have to say about them :) :) Check it out is one of these tweets yours ?

Ok now onto the box and its contents :) :)

First up is

Great Lengths Daily Moisture Shampoo - Full Sized bottle costs €17.00 for 250mls - We got a 50mls sample - I am sure alot of you have heard of Great Lengths as I have seen so many amazing reviews on their extensions.  Now I do not have extensions but I do have dried damaged hair and if this does what it says it does well I am looking forward to seeing the results it promises.  The Promises?  Daily Moisture can be used on all hair types as it’s extremely gentle. It will help to clear away dry ends and also balance the scalp environment. Daily Moisture contains Aloe Vera, this helps to leave the hair feeling silky and manageable. Active ingredient GSP-T will protect hair against environmental damage and premature aging. Any damage caused to the outer cuticle will be repaired by our Aquarich ingredient, this will also help increase volume and give hair maximum shine while reducing static.
In all honesty I am hoping its as good as it says for that price :) :)

Nimue Exfoliating Enzyme - Full Sized Tube costs €49.00 for 60mls - We got a 30mls tube - Winning many awards Nimue is globally recognised for it’s modern skin classification concept (Environmentally Damaged Skin, Hyperpigmented Skin, Problematic Skin and Interactive) and unique philosophy based on four treatment pillars, Rejuvenation, Restoration, Antioxidation and Sun Protection.
Nimue promises :  Non-irritating, non-abrasive enzymatic exfoliation.  Refines skin texture.  Imparts smooth and radiant skin

Optimises penetration of active ingredients.  This product is reaching to those with Environmentally damaged skin Hyperpigmented skin Problematic skin & Interactive skin
I am looking forward to trying this out :) :)

Kinvara Skincare Absolute Cleansing Oil - Full Sized Bottle costs €19.99 for 100mls - we got a 5mls sample -  *Irish Made*  This is one of Ireland's most Acclaimed natural skincare brands and I am excited to try this product out.  Stating that this is is suitable for all skin types I can already tell this is going to be good.  Using a blend of pure plant oils this oil is said to be that gentle it wont strip off your skin.  It is said to remove every trace of dirt grime and makeup that is left on your face leaving your skin clean soft & prepared for the day ahead :) :) This sample is quite small but it does state that you only need one pump to do your entire face hmmmmm.

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in shade Sugar Plum - Full Sized bottle costs €10.95 for 12.5mls - we got a 5ml bottle :) This will be my first time trying Ciate Nail Polish ..... Yes I know tut tut but I do have nearly too many nail polishes in my collection at the moment its not the first thing I go for as nail polish does not last on my nails long enough.  My hands are always in water and my nails are brittle because of that so most of the time I leave my nails with clear nail polish on but I do like to paint my nails on special occasions or when I feel like treating myself to a mani.  This shade looks fabulous I cant wait to try it on Keep and eye out on facebook and my instagram for a picture of it on my nails :)

Hollywood Eye Magic Serum - Costing €75 (wow) for a 15ml bottle which is stated to have 300 applications -  we got as you can see a tiny sample about 2 - 3 mls maybe - This states that you will look and feel more confident with your person makeover in a bottle.  With Collagen Boosters, natural extracts and healing properties this exclusive unique formula is oxygen infused for maximum result.  It states to watch it work right before your eyes.  In the directions we have to apply to clean skin sitting upright and rub in a tiny pea sized amount around your eye area.  So if you are a sufferer of Dark Circles, Sagging skin, puffiness, wrinkles and fine lines which we all do at some stage or most stages this might attract you but to be honest it would have to work miracles for that price tag.  Well I will surely let you know if I notice any difference or any miracles :) :)
and lastly Powderpocket were sweet enough "get it lol (i need to get out more)" to add a little treat for us all to celebrate their 6th box

The only thing was I only got to look at this packet of sweets before my twins spotted them and was gone running before i could say boo lol
Over all The box was fine to me.  It didnt wow me like the last 2 I got but I am surely looking forward to trying out the products at the same time.  None of these are full sized products either which is a surprise and it is the first box we have received with no full sized product in it.  But to be honest I can see why as there is a few pricey products included in this box for example the Nimue Exfoliating Enzyme the full sized bottle is 60 mls and costs €49 we got half the size sample which adds up to €24.50 just with that one product makes up for the price of the box and more.
So what's your thoughts on the May Edition ?
If you would like a review on any of these product do let me know :) :)
Well if you are check out the PowderPocket website where they offer a plan
Monthly plan is €15 including postage
6 monthly plan is €75 including postage where you receive you box per month for 6 month that includes a free box
12 monthly plan is €150 including postage where you receive your box per month for 12 months that includes 2 free boxes
Until Next Time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter
