Wet N Wild Coloricon Blusher in Berry Shimmer

Hello Beauties I hope you are all well :)
Todays review is on a new blush I added to my collection about 2 months ago and I have to say I have been reaching for it alot lately.
I was recently told by my nurse that my iron levels are low due to my pregnancy so you can imagine how pale in complexion I am :)  Unfortunately my normal go to blush shades havent been giving me that natural flush I love and I needed something a little deeper to give me that boost.  So when I went to my local pharmacy I automatically picked this blush up as I thought it would be the perfect pick me up for my cheeks :)

Wet N Wild is such an affordable brand and I just couldnt resist this shade in particular :)
I cant tell you how hard it was not to grab all the blushes from the stand and run with them especially because of its affordable price of €4.59 each but I was a good girl and only got one to try out first :)

As far as I know there is only 4 shades available :) but even with only 4 shades you are guaranteed to find a shade suitable for your skin tone.
Wet N Wild state:  Sweep on this silky-smooth blush that strikes the perfect balance between a blendable transparent sheen and a radiant pop of maximum color. A special blend of treated nylon powders provides long-lasting color. Dermatologist-tested.
Talking briefly about packaging of course with any drugstore product the packaging isnt exactly exciting.  I dont mind that as 9 time out of 10 the companies concentrate on the product more than the packaging :)
I certain would not trust the packaging to take a hard fall as I can see it will shatter easily but the lid is very sturdy which means it is not going to come off too easily :)

Inside the packaging you will see your beautiful blusher which is a very decent size might I add :) The blusher also comes with a decent brush which is slanted which makes applying to the cheeks alot easier :)  I personally dont like the feel of the brush as it feels slightly hard and when using on the blush creates a little chalky mess ( I will show you what I mean below)  It can be handy for travelling if you need a touch up :)

The great thing about these blushes are that alot of bloggers who have Nars Blushes have easily compared these to the Nars Blushes :) :)  They say that they are a very good dupe of them which is exciting right?  I can not vouch for that for sure as I dont own any Nars blushes but The bloggers who have stated this I trust 100% :)

Just look at that stunning view :) :)  I am so so glad I chose this shade as its hugely hugely pigmented and a little goes a long way.  Berry Shimmer is a lovely deep pink with reddish undertones and to add some dazzle to the shade there is tiny specks of golden shimmer in there to give a beautiful healthy glow.  I love how easy this blush is to use.  I also love how soft a creamy it feels to touch and as for blending wow this blush blends like a dream :)

This blush would be suitable for every skintone.  Even though its highly pigmented you can have control of how pigmented you want it on your cheeks.
If you are very fair very lightly dab your brush on the blush, tap off the excess and swirl the brush onto the back of your had before lightly sweeping onto your cheeks :)
If you are fair to medium skintone lightly dab the brush onto the blush tap off the excess and lightly seep across the cheeks :)
Of course if you are medium to dark you will not have to worry about tapping off the excess as your skin is deep enough for the shade :)

Here is a photo of a swatch I made with a brush with a good dab of product on the brush

I just love this so so much :) I have to say this is one of the best blushes in this price range that I have tried :)  I can safely say the pigmentation the quality and the longevity of these as just as good as some high end blushes I have tried :) I am certainly going back to pick up more of these :) :)

Here is a photo of just how much it brightens up my pale non rosy complexion making me look so so much healthier and naturally flushed :) :)

Have I told you that I love it :)  You would be cray cray not to try these blushes for yourself :) :)
These are available in Ireland now at any Dunnes, Penneys or leading pharmacies :) :)

I hope you enjoyed my review :)
Until next time

NYX Powder Blush in Mauve, Pinched & Bourgeois Pig

Hey my beauties I hope you are all well :)
Todays review is a long time coming and to be honest I have been kicking myself that I havent yet reviewed these beauties for you.  Honestly I am sure there is enough reviews on these for you to check out as they are one of the best known products sold by NYX.
I got my blushes from varies places my first one I got from the Non Pariel site.  The second I got from a very reliable ebay seller and of course the 3rd I got from Cherry Culture
They cost $5 each and well worth the price as you are getting 4g of product.  There are about 30 shade YES you are reading right 30 shades to choose from I love it :) I have 3 so far :) :) Usually when you look for a drugstore blush you will only get a very tiny amount of shades to choose from normally only around 4 -8 shades but having 30 shades to choose from is brilliant I love the fact that everyone of every skin tone will find their shade or even more than one shade to suit them

I am sure you can tell this is going to be a positive review as I have more than one of these blushes and bought at different times ;)  You would be crazy to pass them if you did pass them because these blushes are to die for.  The packaging is cute, small and sturdy I absolutely love how they can fit in your purse :) :)
Now that we have the packaging over with let start with the shades and first up is

Mauve:  When choosing this blush I wanted to choose something I could use on an everyday basis something that was going to give me a beautiful natural look on my cheek without making it obvious I was wearing blush.  This certainly is the blush for that :)  If you are fair to medium skintone this blush will suit you down to the ground.  If you are medium to dark I am afraid this will be too light to show up on your skin
I really do not know why this is called Mauve because its more like a soft baby pink shade to me.  It is sheer at first but it builds up to a nice natural pinky shade.  As its matte it is a little chalky but nothing to give out about ;)

Next up is
Pinched:  One of my favourites out of the two :)  I am in love with this little beauty.  Pinched has been compared to Nars Orgasm blush so you can just imagine how popular this shade is.  The best thing about this blush is that it is suitable for every skin tone meaning its hugely pigmented and hugely flattering.  This blush contains shimmer but the shimmers make you cheeks look more glowing than like a disco ball.  Pinched is a stunning shimmery more vibrant pink with a peach undertone.  I absolutely love this and recommend it to everyone :) :) Be warned this blush is very pigmented one swipe of a brush could be more than enough especially used with a light hand xxx

And lastly we have
Bourgeois Pig:  One of their newest shades to the collection :)  The perfect shade for Summer !!!! Actually the perfect shade for all year round especially Winter.  This blush is another matte :) :) To be honest it looks alot like Pinched in the package but its alot more Pinker.  There is no peach undertone just you very pigmented perfect pink shade.  If I had to pick an undertone it would have a slight red undertone.  Wow this looks amazing and gives a beautiful healthy pink flush to the cheeks.  I am think the blushing bride on her wedding day wearing this on her cheeks :)  This is also a perfect shade for every skin tone as its buildable.  Warning to all you pale skinned gals out there, use with a light hand as you may end up looking a little more ready for the circus lol

And now for the wonderful swatches :)

Thought you would like them :) :)  Well I love these blushes they are amazing and even more amazing because of the price tag.  The pigmentation is out of this world.  Mauve looks to be less pigmented but that is only because is a more natural blush compared to the two other shades.  I love each and every one of them the same for their performances but I just can not resist "Pinched" more.  I just love how it gives a stunning healthy glow.  I applied just a light swatch of Pinched on my cheeks and it literally looks like ive been lightly pinched on the cheeks :) :)
I highly recommend these to you all to try if you haven't already I promise you will not be disappointed.  Make sure to google swatches before buying the shade so you can be sure the shade is exactly what you want.  I will surely be back with a part two of these blushes as I plan to purchase more shades :)
I really hope you enjoyed this review and until next time

Seventeen Cheek Stamp Blush Review

Hello My beauties I hope you are all well today
Ok as you have probably noticed I have never ever tried the brand Seventeen before.  I think mainly because I thought the brand was directed mostly to teens out there.   I was wrong in fact Seventeen makeup has been out since 1962 imagine :)
I was browsing through boots one day and I spotted these little guys which were a new release by Seventeen I was intrigued and thought they looked so cute :)  I researched a little about them and found out they were out before as part of Seventeens Spring Limited Edition Collection last year  They were seemingly bought back due to popular demand.
There are 5 shades available in total and cost €6.29 from Boots and there is currently an offer of 3 for 2 so if you are interested in trying them out after this review you will get a good bargain ;)

Ok I have to say at first the packaging was what caught my eye with these and usually packaging is not a big deal to me but in all fairness you have to admit yourself it looks pretty, girly and very unusual :) :)

I love the inside packaging too.  You are getting an hour glass shaped blush.  Each blush is colour coded so you will have no problem picking which one you want.  There is a mirror on top of each one, always perfect for travelling or checking out your makeup in a hurry ;)
The blush has a twistable lid which inside contains an attached sponge :)

The Sponge is protected by a round see through plastic seal in which you replace on the sponge each time you use the blush for hygienic reasons of course as the oils from your face would transfer to the blush once you place the sponge on top.
On the other half is where the blush is :)  To be honest it looks quite little when you do have a look in.

The sponge is worked by a spring which means the more the product goes down the further the spring with go to reach it so there is no worries there.  You will feel the spring work immediately from the time you put the sponge in or close the product up.  The blush lifts quite well so it takes little effort to load up the sponge what I do is dip and turn a little and the sponge is full of blush

The instructions say stamp blusher onto the apples of your cheeks and blend for a flush of Spring colour.
The 2 shades I got where the only shades available the day I got them as they sold out very quick in my area so I thought I would give them a whirl anyway :)

The cheek of it :  This has shimmer in it so if you are not a glittery/shimmer blush fan you might not like this one.  This is a nice peachy bronzey shade.  I have to admit its a little too much on the shimmery side for me.  I like shimmer blushes especially those that give you a nice glow but this is not for me as the colour is a little sheer on my and the more I build it the more shimmer goes onto my cheeks.  I think the only ones who will get colour pay off from this would be people who have fair skin :)   Its still very pretty and very easy to apply

Made you Look:  I love this name because wearing this blush will surely make people look.  This is a bright fuchsia Pink blush with tiny specks of shimmer in fact the tiny specks are not even noticeable once swatched but you do end up with a nice glow to the cheeks.  A tiny bit of this goes a long way so be very careful :)

In all honesty the stamp sponge is great for applying the blush to the apples of the cheeks but blending out with the sponge is a little hard to work with I would much prefer the brush to blend out.  Also waiting for your foundation to dry first before stamping this blush on would be a need otherwise you are going to find it even harder to blend that stamp out.  I like the idea around it but I am too used to applying blush with my brushes and that's what I ended up doing with this blush after a few goes its easier and quicker :)  The blushes themselves are very smooth and soft and quite pigmented they last for most of the day without any touch ups :)
The shades is something I probably would have thought twice about getting for myself in all honesty as they are not shade I wouldnt usually reach for but for some of you out there you might like these shades :) :)  I will go back and see if the store has stocked up on the other to try them out
Have you tried these yet?
Whats your thoughts on them
Until Next time

Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush in Natural

Hello My beauties I hope you are all well today :)
Ever since I can Remember I have been always wanting to try out Physician Formula Product and luckily since been in the blogging world I have met some really great American Friends who have been more than happy to send me products I can not get here.
Late Last year i got involved with with a makeup swap and one thing in particular I asked the person for was some products from Physicians Formula especially the Sexy Booster Sexy glow blush which was release in Spring of 2013.  I have read so many great reviews about it and needed to try it for myself.  The shade I really wanted to try was "Rose" as it looked amazing but unfortunately it was all sold out at the time and is actually the hardest blush to get because of its popularity.  I still wanted to try it out so I asked for the other shade that its available which is "natural" I really really could not wait to get my hands on it and when I did I was certainly in Awwwwww
Just look at that packaging isnt it to die for ???

Some of you might not have heard of Physicians Formula but let me tell you it is one of the most popular brands in America, Australia etc.  This makeup brand might as well be listed in the organic line because it was actually created by a man named Dr Crandall who was an eminent allergist.  He created a line of cosmetics especially for his wife who suffered with sensitive skin and since then never looked back.   At the moment this brand is only available to certain countries like America, Australia, Turkey, France, South Africa, Mexico and so on but not yet available to Ireland, UK, Italy etc .  I will not lose out in hope that some day it will too be available to us because right not as of from last week Wet N Wild has hit the Irish Stores and is already booming with custom so fingers crossed.

Ok I have to begin by talking a little about the packaging because in all fairness it deserves it :)  I know packaging isnt a great deal to alot of people but we all have to admit it helps too doesnt it.  The packaging is amazing I am hooked already and want the whole lot from the 2 blushes to the bronzers that are also in this range.
I will not bore you with chatting and just show you the packaging to judge for yourselves :)

Wait there is more!!!!! While you are drooling over the pictures above let me allow you to drool a little more by showing you the inside of this fantastic box of joy.

Sexy isnt it??? As you can see there is two sides to this little box one side containing the blush and the other containing a hidden mirror and brush to apply.  Both lids held shut with a magnet :) :)   Now with this blush retailing at just $11.95/€8.74/£7.24 it makes it well worth it for the packaging alone :) But of course it would help knowing how the blush is too I hear you see well let me tell you about that now

The blush itself is made up of 3 different shades.  There is one main shade and the other 2 shades make up the fabulous designed stiletto.  I actually found it hard to swatch this because i wanted this design to last :) .
Starting with the main shade which is the one you see the most of this is a very light pinky sort of highlight shade.  This is too light for me to use on its own.  I like to use this for a highlight with my more intense matte pink blushes I have in my collection and it works beautifully.

The Stiletto itself is a darker coral pink shade and the heel has a silver mark on it but disappears after a few uses in fact I don't really notice anything coming from the silver heel apart from design purposes

As you can see by the second swatch the blush is a little on the powdery side which believe me if you use a heavy hand with your brush will make a mess.  Using a light hand is more than enough for application.  I do find this blush very sheer to begin with as I am not the palest of people so swirling the brush around the blush brings the two shades together and gives a very light coral pink finish but the fact that it is shimmery means the more you apply to the cheeks the more shimmer applied so if you are like me you are better off opting for a different shade blush like "rose".  "Natural" is more for paler skinned ladies :) :)

I have been using the blush myself at the moment but applying the darkest shade to my cheeks and its stunning.  it gives a beautiful natural finish with shimmer.  If you have dry skin or very large pores you might want to give this blush a miss as the shimmers will enhance that.
I do like the finish of the blush and it will be fantastic for the summer time to give a beautiful healthy glow I would love to get my hands on "Rose" As I know that shade will be perfect for me.  The scent of the blush is beautiful its hard to pin point what the scent is but it sort of smells like vanilla :)
i know for a fact that I will use this blush more at night when I am going out and when I know alot of photos will be taken because the glow this blush gives is amazing.  I cant wait to get my hands on the "rose" shade as summer is approaching and I know its going to look fab for that.
In this photo I am wearing a "natural" lightly on the cheeks

Overall I think the shade is what I had more of a problem with rather than the blush.  The packaging, the brush, the blush itself is great apart from the fact you have to use a light hand unless you want a powdery mess.  The Blush is so soft and gentle and the fact that its shimmer doesn't feel grainy whatsoever.  The scent is beautiful and the packaging is amazing.  For the price I really think its worth a try just be careful when choosing the shade.
Have you tried this blush yet? What's your thoughts on it :)
Until Next time

Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher in Rose Eclat

Hello My Beauties How are you all today :)
Ok can you believe that this is the first every Bourjois Powder blush that I have tried :) I know I know I should be ashamed of myself haha but hey better late than never eh?
I got this blush free with a 3 for 2 offer in Boots (I love Boots)  :)
The Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher costs €9.99 from Boots.ie but prices may vary depending on offers.
There is about 19 Shades to choose from so you are in no doubt going to find a shade suitable for your skin tone :) :)
Now to be honest I have a little secret when it comes to blushes.  I am kinda hooked :)  I just cant help myself when it comes to blushes I have to try them even if I have a familiar shade at home I still gotta try it out.  Different brands different shades different types they just have to mine :) :)
How many of you out there are the same ? :)

I love the packaging of these blushes.  They are so cute and small and just so so handy to bring around while travelling or simply in your bag.  This little round pot is plastic and the lid is held shut by a magnet which make me think you have to be a little careful as the lid is only held my a magnet.  To open you simply press the gold button.

Inside is where the magic begins.  In this little pot you are getting a nice little mirror and a brush shaped like an arch to sit on dome shaped blush.
The Brush is not my liking at all to be honest.  I like the brush dont get me wrong as it is very handy for travelling for in case you have forgotten you normal blush brush but I prefer not to use it and stick with my own.

When choosing a shade which believe me too some time (nearly too long) I decided to go with a shade that would be perfect for the winter months ahead something that was going to make me look like I had a natural but rosey look to my cheeks.  Rose Eclat ticked all my requests.  This blush is a deep rosey shade a beautiful blush for winter as it has tiny shimmers in it to create a nice healthy glow to your cheeks

I can not believe how pigmented this blush is one dip of the brush is enough to do one cheek.  I also found it build beautifully so you have control of the intensity of the colour.  I have been using this blush quite alot in the past two weeks its even replaced what was my favourite Benefit Coralista which I used mostly through the summer.
In the swatch below I am showing you a heavy swatch which is about 3 layers and a light swatch which is only two layers

Stunning right?  I have to say I am well impressed with the Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher and the shade.  I can not believe its taken me this long to try it out.  I reassure you I will be going back to get more.  In fact I will be taking full advantage of the 3 for 2 deal again in boots :) :)
I highly recommend you try them out if you haven't already.  For such a small bundle this blush give alot more than what you expect.  I found the blush lasted all day long on my cheeks even with hugging my kiddies and an odd rubbing of my face forgetfully as you do when your tired.
Here is a picture of my wearing it lightly on my face and as you can see it gives me a very healthy look as I have no colouring on my cheeks without it
10/10 in my eyes :)
Have you tried this blushes out yet?
Until Next time
