EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm Review including New Flavour Blueberry Acai

Hello My beauties How are you all today.
Ever since these little beauties where available to buy I have been hooked on them.  I actually can not believe that it has taken me this long to review them but better late than never eh.  Plus its not news that these little beauties are around because they have been part of the beauty industry for quite some time and there are plenty of reviews out there about them.  You can be guaranteed that you will surely see some beauty guru's favourites posts or videos stating one of these are their favourites.  Plus Huge stars like Kim Kardashian and One Direction for example are always snapped using them.
Well I thought seeing as I have just stocked up on more I should put in a little post of what I think of them :)
I have already went through one of these and have one in my bag for a while now actually I first tried these about a year ago now so I can give you a good insight into what I think of them.

For those of you who haven't heard about this lip balm.  EOS stands for Evolution Of Smooth.  EOS is designed to give you complete moisture to your lips plus give you protection and soothing from the added vitamin C in each balm.  EOS lip balms are 95% Organic and 100% Natural with ingredients such as Jojoba oil which is designed to give you long lasting hydration and Shea Butter which is designed to moisturise and soften the lips.  The added bonus of these balms is the sphere shape they have an easy grip and also have some amazing colours for each balm.  On the bottom of each balm is a flat areas in which you can place the balm on your dress the right way up.  Imagine having all 7 flavours lined up on your dresser all different colours that would be so cute and cool :) :) #

As mentioned above I have already tried 2 flavours of these which was Lemon Drop (yellow).  This one smells of lemon and its the only on with SPF 15 in it and Summer Fruits (red) which smells of fruit cocktail.  I am still using Summer Fruits and love it :)
Now I have added 3 more to my collection
Sweet Mint with is the turquoise one definitely smells of mint and feels very refreshing on the lips
Strawberry Sorbet which is the pink one oh yummy yummy yummy it smells good enough to eat truly it does
and lastly Blueberry Acai which is the blue one and also a new edition this one surely smells like blueberries and is good enough to eat :)

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this product I love the packaging its so ideal as it keeps the balm hygienic   Not only that when the kiddies get a hold of it and mistake it as a ball like mine do it doesn't break as it smash proof :) :)
I have found myself reaching for these quite alot lately with the cold weather coming in and the fact they keep my lips moist for a long time leaves me not worrying about my lips getting chapped and sore.  I love to use this to prep my lips for lipstick also as it puts a barrier around my lips especially for lipsticks that leaves a stain :) :)  They leave a nice semi matte finish to your lips which make them look healthy and kissable.
The best thing about it is its super cheap and affordable and worth every cent for less than €7 from Beauty Emporium they last an extremely long time :) :)  Did I mention they smell great :) :)  I will surely be building up my EOS collection and getting some for my kiddies for school for the winter :)
Have you tried these yet?
What's your favour flavour?
Until Next Time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

Pixy Lip Balm Review

Lip Balm Beauty Products
Hey My beauties how are you all doing today :)  Wow this weather took a drastic change from been totally amazing and feeling like you were in Spain or some place like that to been back in the horrible Irish weather we are used to nearly 90% of the year just with the click of our fingers.  Ah well we were luckier this year than last year.
I dont know about you but I am a huge fan of lip balms.  In fact I must have about 10 or maybe more different branded lip balms up in my collection that I love and adore .  Some I don't love as much but I always seem to want more and more You guys cant tell me you are not the same lol
Well of course because I love Pixy so much I just had to try out their Lip Balms the fact that they are natural and affordable I ended up buying 3 :) well I do have a house full of little kiddies that sometimes need a dose of balm especially in the winter and summer months :)
I am obsessed with keeping my lips in good condition there is nothing worse than having dry chapped lips and nothing is worse than have horrible cold sores all over them either so this is why I will always have a selection of balms everywhere and take my normal steps to look after them as much as I can after all your lips are very tender and very thin.  As Pixy explains there is only 5 layers of skin and no sweat glands on our lips which means we need to take good care of them and keep them moisturised.
So Pixy put alot of work and thought into creating the right lip balm For our needs thats for sure :)

To make the perfect lip balm, we at Pixyland, took Cocoa Butter which is famous for reconditioning the skin and so creamy that it melts into the surface and underlying layers of the skin. We mixed it with Shea Butter known for being full of vitamins and fatty acids that absorb quickly to protect, moisturise and soften your lips, and for those of you that suffer dry lips, a good dose of Almond oil was added for good measure!
For centuries Almond oil has been used to heal and deter dry and chapped skin, and being rich in Vitamin E, it is also contains great anti-aging properties.
In order for all these goodies to work their magic on your pout, we needed a natural emollient barrier; the best in Mother Nature’s closet is Beeswax, made by bees.
Beeswax locks in moisture and is a brilliant barrier against environmental free radicals, like chilly wintry days, central heating, all those necessary but nasty conditions that can play havoc on your lovely lips. Oh, and the best thing about beeswax is, it won’t clog your pores!
This is just the start of it because not only have they made a lip balm full of absolute goodness, they have put together 5 different flavoured lip balms for all us

Chocolate
Strawberry
Honey
Coconut
Mint
I chose to get Strawberry, Coconut and Mint :)  You are getting 20g of product for €3.99 which is more than a bargain :)

Strawberry oh boy oh boy mmmmmmmm This lip balm was the first one I picked to try out and believe me it smells amazing :)  If you are a fan of strawberries beware because this lip balm smells exactly like strawberry yogurt and you will be tempted to eat it lol.  My sister has one of these and is already over half way through it because she cant help but apply this to her lips every hour of the day :)

Coconut coconut coconut yummmyyyyyy :)  This little beauty is in my handbag full time.  The delicious scent of coconut lingers in my bag I love it.  At time I even reach for it just to smell it.  This is my favourite one :) for sure

Mint .... This feels absolutely fantastic on the lips.... If you have that red hot feeling on the lips this balm will surely put them to comfort and cool them down.  The mint is surely minty and perfect for those very important date nights ;) ;) I love this balm as it has that cool sensation and perfect for the Summer months when we are luck to have those hot days :)

These balms are amazing each and every one of them feel smooth creamy and ever so moisturising on the lips.  They also make your lips shiny and kissable ;) They are so hydrating.  I brought my coconut one on a day trip on Sunday I went with my family and it was 24 degrees we were out all day and we all felt the heat on our lips even my dad.  I passed this balm around to everyone and they were instantly relieved.  Thank goodness I brought it because no matter how much we drank it did not relieve the dryness on our lips until we used the Lip Balm.
I highly recommend having at least one of these balms in your bag for any time of the year :)
Have you tried these yet?
What flavour would you like to try :)
Until next time

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush Review

Hey My beautifuls How are you all doing today :)
Wow I can not believe it is Easter weekend already
Its crazy how the time is flying by so quick
The kiddies are off school for 2 full weeks so the house is already cray cray lol and that is before the Easter Bunny has entered the house lol
Well you know what they say Crazy kids Crazy mummy lol
Anyway todays review is on a product or should I say brand I have never tried before and that is thanks to the March Glossybox.  Now you may have noticed I do not do Glossybox posts anymore and the reason for that is to be honest I dont see much point in it by the time I get it here in Ireland all of your know from other bloggers what is in the box as most of the bloggers from England for example get their boxes before us so they get to post up what they got and most of the time there is always the same products in there so what i decided to do is if I find an unbelievable product that I just have to tell you about or a product I find I will purchase again I will blog about it What you Think?  Is that a better idea  :)
So todays review is on the Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush
Now you may be thinking awwww not another chubby stick but to be honest I find chubby sticks brilliant they are handy and convenient and fun.  They are a lip liner lipstick and lip balm all in one I love it.  Now Straight away i wanted to compare there to the famous Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balms which I absolutely love and adore :)
Of course its great to expand your knowledge and experiences by not sticking to the one brand who makes near enough the same type of product after all there could be one better than the other.
Jelly Pong Pong is a Company based in Taiwan.  They have a website in which you can purchase from anywhere in the world and of course they are Cruelty-Free.
Check out their website for more information and to be honest I am liking what I am seeing and might treat myself to some more items on my birthday next week hehehe
A moisturising lip stain that tints your lips with just the right amount of juicy colour and hydrates like a balm. Apply liberally, purse and let the silky lightweight texture melt onto your lips. Bonus : Made with beeswax and ceresin wax for a sheer, smooth application
Packaging
The packaging is the exact same as the Revlon Lip Balms.  They are a chubby stick with a twistable end and now sharpeners are involved which I absolutely love :)
The lid is sturdy and that too I love as it wont be making a mess in your handbag :)
The shade is so so pretty I absolutely love it.  I am not usually a red lipstick wearer but I am slowly getting over that red lipstick fear and wearing alot more brighter colours to verge my way there (you know what I am on about girlies !!! I can now say over 90% of women out there in the world has a red lipstick fear lol)
This is vibrant yet it can be as sheer as you want it to be.  With the first application you are literally getting a tint of red on your lips which looks so so beautiful on fair skinned women.  Upon the second layer you are getting a noticable red which would look fantastic on the lips on a date night or a night out or if you dare on everyday basics any other layers will just make the shade more intense :)
The scent on these is lovely you get a nice minty scent which I dont mind you also get a slight cooling sensation which is handy for those sore lip days
The texture is fantastic its soft creamy and feels smooth on the lips.  It doesn't soak into the lines of your lips even with sore lips you find this doesn't settle into the cracks.
This shade is called "Cranberry" I forgot to mention and this is 2 coats. Doesn't it look amazing I love it.  I feel kissable when I wear this :) I found literally lasted all day on my lips ok maybe after 5 hours it looked like I have a red tint more than colour on my lips but my lips stayed stained all day long.
For £12 they are very very good and will last you for a very long time £12 is nothing to be honest as you would pay more for a lipstick you have to reapply all day where as this will last you all day.  To be honest if you asked me is there any difference between this and the Revlon Kissable Lip Balms I would say no there is no difference in my eye they bother perform the same look the same only Revlon has more shade to choose from and Revlon are a little more affordable.  Only a few pounds but a few pounds make a difference.
Bright eh? but beautiful :)
Anyone else get this in their Glossy Box ?
What do you think of the Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush ? (cute name lol)
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

#28 Days of Kisses *Day 23 & 24 Lipstick Tag

Hey My beauties how are you doing today :)
Oh wow I had one busy crazy but brilliant weekend at my friends Hen Party.  It was my first ever hen party I went to and it was such great craic :)
As I told you all I would post up what i wore on my lips for Day 23 and 24 today I will post them all on this post to make it easier and do a separate post on todays lips later :)
Well for Saturday we went to an outdoor activity place which involved alot of climbing, heights and scary decision for some of us which was fun but the weather played against us that day by snowing and been so cold we couldnt feel our toes and it literally took us all evening and night to defrost but that didnt stop us we had so much fun
So because of the cold I decided lipsticks and lipglosses were out of the question and I relied on one of my go to lip balms to save my dry lips in the hard weather and it didnt let me down :) This balm is forever in my hangbag and I have been loving how it keeps my lips moisturised and protected from the cold its amazing and lasts quite sometime on the lips if your were out and about :)
I love this lip balm and already have this reviewed if you want to check it out click here they are amazing and do a great job I relied on this Saturday all day and Sunday all day due the cold.
Saturday night I went out with lots of girlies on a Hen Party and Went with a Dark brown smokey eye look and to go with that I just went with a Neutral Lip
This lipstick is one of the more pricier lipstick I own and I actually won it in a competition a while back.  Its one of my first Mac Lipsticks I ever got :)
I have mixed feeling about this lipstick to be honest I do like it dont get me wrong.  Its a stunning shade to wear with a smokey eye especially.  This is also a perfect shade for a bride on her wedding day.  This is also a great shade for anyone with very fair skin and of course fair to medium skin :)
Because this lipstick is a "Lustre"  which means it has a glossy finish.  So any of you matte lipstick lovers out there might not like this particular shade.  I am one who likes matte lipsticks but also love applying gloss over lipstick sometimes for the extra va va voom :)  So this lipstick is perfect for me as it has the colour and also the glossy finish :)
High shine is a beautiful nude pink with a pearl like finish.  Now I have fairly pigmented lips and to be honest the finish can be a tad different so if you want the benefit of this shade try dusting the lips with your compact powder or simply rubbing your foundation brush over you lips to cancel out any colouring.  I love the scent of this lipstick and its a dream to apply its so soft and cream each time I apply.
I find this lipstick a little sheer and in the need of a little building up but went built up looks fab :)  Is it worth the money if you were buying it ??? No I wouldnt pay it to be honest There is bound to be dupes of this around but as I have it in my collection I will continue to love using it until it is gone :)
I tried getting a photo taken with it on my lips when i was out Saturday night but it was a complete fail as the lighting was bad as you can imagine
but here is an idea of how it looks
After all of the activities on Saturday day and night my lips felt so so parched so i relied on the Handmade Companys Balm again and it was my saviour :)
What did you wear on your lips at the weekend :)
Keep safe and happy and healthy and enjoy the day no matter what you are doing for the day and night
Check out the ladies who have also taken part in #28Kisses posts you might see something you want to try out for yourself :)

Famous Cosmetics Lip Addiction in Raw & Pillow Talk

Hey my beauties how are you all doing today :)
I dont know if you all remember around Christmas MUA aka Make Up Acadamey had an offer going that if you spend £10 you got 4 Famous product for free.  Now to be honest I had no idea what these 4 new products were I actually thought MUA was coming out with yet more new surprise product that we were getting to try out before they put them on site but now this is actually from another site.  I know what your asking now the same as myself.  Why would MUA give away 4 products from another makeup brand?
So I asked MUA what Famous had to do with them and they said that Famous was sister of MUA.  Nice :)
I have never heard about the brand before and was so excited to try it out.  It was like finding a little pot of gold when I looked up the site to see before me yet another site that was super affordable.
Famous Cosmetics was actually launched in 2007 by a a popular makeup artist Sue Moxley.

Sue is one of the UK's leading beauty experts working with an impressive client list of celebrities,TV programmes, newspapers and magazines.  In July 2009 she joined forces with the people behind the leading tanning product Fake Bake to expand the Famous by Sue Moxley brand and increase its success.

Sue also has an online shop on her website with brushes

So let me begin by reviewing the first of the 4 products I got which is the Lip Addiction Lipsticks
Ok so let me begin by saying these two little beauties were the first things that caught my eye and I just couldnt resist but try them out straight away.
Normally these lipsticks cost £4.99 each which is super affordable as it is but at the moment they are half price at just £2.49 :) Actually everything on site is half price until the 3rd February :)
Now the packaging is pretty straight forward apart from one thing :)
The secret flip up lid with a mirror inside along with a lip balm matching the shade of the lipstick.  Now how cool is that :) :)
There are 6 shades to choose from but because this came with the offer I didn't get to choose my shades.  The 6 shades look lovely and looks like there is a shade for everyone which is great.
The formula on these are somewhat like the MUA Lip Boom Lipsticks .
The scent of these lipsticks are of a vanilla scent.  Not too strong but you can get the scent when applying but after about 10 minutes the scent disappears.  The Formula of the lipsticks are so so like the MUA Lipsticks.  Smooth creamy and soft.  I found the formula a little different with the Shade Raw and later I will explain how.  The pigmentation is actually amazing.  You could get away with just one layer but they are buildable to whatever strength you desire.
I found these lasted about 3-4 hours depending on eating and drinking but of course the darker the lipstick the longer lasting they are.
Let me go ahead and show you the shades and of course the balms with them :)
"Raw" This is a very neutral shade :)  This is a perfect nude shade with a peachy undertone to it.  Now to be honest This is far too nude for me.  It really does nothing for me.  The application of this lipstick was sort of different to Pillow talk in a sense that it seemed to be alot oilier than pillow talk.  When applying this to my lips yes it felt smooth and creamy but it seemed to slide around my lips.  It ended up becoming patchy on me and It was so much of an effort to get it looking somewhat proper on my lips.  Now maybe it was just the batch I got but I wasnt happy with it at all.  The balm part of it was fine and I actually see myself wearing it when i have a smokey eye going on.
Its not the worst colour I have tried but its not a favourite :) I think maybe if the formula was a bit better that might have changed my mind :)
"Pillow Talk"  Now this is a fantastic shade for the Spring and Summer months to come :)
This is a beautiful Orangey pinky shade but when applied you will see a slight hint of coral in the mix :).  When you look at the photo above you see nothing but orange believe me that changes once it touches the lip.  The formula on this lipstick is fantastic its smooth creamy and ever so soft and moisturising.  It glides on like a dream and you would get away with one application.  Of course like the other its build able   I found i got about 3 hours wear out of this before i felt i needed to top it up.   Now the balm itself is lighter and more on the pinky coral side rather that having the orangey tint I actually like it and it warms up my complexion even if I am not wearing makeup.  I really like this lipstick :)
Here is a photo of the balms on my lips without the lipstick applied
Ok so Overall what is my opinion?
Well as I said at the start these lipsticks remind me so much of the MUA lipsticks which cost £1 and these full price cost £4.99 yes there is some difference there and to be honest I would not pay full price for these lipsticks even though you are getting the tiny mirror and the balm extra.  I would pay for them when they are half price though as they are funky and I like the style :)  I will go back and purchase more while the half price sale is on as I dont think MUA has the shades that Famous is doing.
I think even for the price you are getting a bargain and they are perfect for everyday wear I certainly would not rely on them lasting any-more than the 4 hours without topping up but for a drug-store lipstick what so you expect.
Famous Cosmetics is also sold in Superdrug stores
Have you ever heard of this brand before?
Have you tried any of their products ?
I have been a very naughty girl and made a sort of medium to large order from Famous Cosmetics.  So much of her stuff looks too appealing to give it a miss and the fact there is a half price sale on I just Had to.  Ok its not really for me Its for you guys Ok????    Alright maybe its a little bit for me hehehehe
    Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

    Vaseline Pink Bubbly Review

Hello my beautifuls how are you all doing :)
Today i am giving you my review on the New but Limited Edition Vaseline Pink Bubbly Lip Therapy :)
There has been a huge hype about this single it was mentioned that there was a new limited edition been released.  I do love Vaseline and have loved it since i was in school.  I always has one in my pencil case or in my school bag.  I always reached for it when my lips needed some moistening in the cold hard weather or even in the summer :)  Its always handy to have on my dresser especially when applying lipstick or liner all over the lips :)  I usually use the blue tinned one so this was exciting to see a girly girly one coming into my collection.
"Luxury living is all the rage, but this time it’s all about letting your lips enjoy a champagne lifestyle. By popular demand, cult beauty brand Vaseline Lip Therapy has created an exciting and decadent new limited edition flavour, Pink Bubbly.
Vaseline Pink Bubbly has a gorgeous rosé hue. Enriched with champagne grape extract, this luxurious jelly will intensively moisturise and smooth, creating a perfectly kissable pout.
I am not a huge fan of strong scented lip products to be honest .  I dont mind sweet or fruity but not cosmeticy or sickly scents.  When i opened this at first i thought oh no this smells quite strong like rose scent.  I was pretty sure i would not like it straight away and was actually a little disappointed.  When i applied it i changed my mind yes i got the rosey scent but it was actually quite nice and bearable.  I have to admit even though it smelt rosey it also smelled fruity so maybe thats why i like it :)
Its also has a nice pink tint to it even though it appears clear on my lips.  I have been wearing alot of matte lipsticks lately especially the NYX Matte lipsticks and the NYX Matte lips creams (in which i will be reviewing soon) and i find applying this firstly on my lips makes the matte lipsticks apply like a dream and makes them look amazing :)
I love this and highly recommend grabbing it while you can.  I cant wait to see what other Limited Edition flavours come our way in the future from Vaseline :)
    Have you tried this yet?
    Until next time take care
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

The Handmade Soap Company Lip Balms

Hey my beauties how are you all doing today.
Im sitting here with a nice cuppa tea (Lyons Tea mmmm my favourite) Enjoying listening to my kiddies playing outside in the sunshine at long last.  We in Ireland have been pretty unfortunate with good weather this summer so any bit of sunshine has been a real treat to us.  Instead of sitting out in it myself i have dinner cooking and writing this blog post but thats dedication for you eh?
Well this blog post is going to be one of many as lately i have been really interested in what Ireland has to offer when it comes to beauty products etc.  I have to admit i have been neglecting my country when it comes to our own products.  I think when you live in a country you tend to fall into the trap of wanting products from other countries simply because you cant get or have them and you will do everything you can to try and get them and do research on them.  To be honest Irish brands and products and food can tend to be a little more expensive than other countries and i think maybe thats why its been ignored .  Anyhuuuu the whole point is that i have made a packed with myself that at least once a month i will try and buy an Irish brand product and review it as we have as much to offer as other countries and it should be broadcasted more :) :)
So my first Irish product Is 2 Lip Balms from The Handmade Soap Company
The Company is based in Kells Co Meath Ireland and was founded in 2009 by a Mr Donagh Quigley who thought of the idea of handmade soap because he was suffering from a skin condition called psoriasis he came across a market in Australia who made and sold their own homemade soaps and found a soap that helped the psoriasis, this is where he came up with the idea of starting up his own Handmade soap company in Ireland with alot of researching testing etc his company has to date become a success.
So on with the review :)
I decided to go for these Lip Balms first to try out because i heard from a few Bloggers like Beautie.ie and Laura from Fitz and Bitz
(two blogs i love to read) that they were good and I also noticed that they won an award for the Best Highstreet Lip Balm on the Tatler Magazine 2012 Beauty Awards :)
So there was 3 different balms to choose from and I ended up picking these 2 because the other one was a choco mint scent and to be honest it didnt appeal to me as much as the others.
They cost 4.50 euro each for 15g which in my eyes is very cheap :) This lip balm comes in a metal tin container somewhat like the Vaseline balm :)
This is the one that won the Beauty awards and i can understand why to be honest as the Calendula oil is a anti-inflammatory and also an antiseptic so this is brilliant for sore lips for the winter time :) Its also good for those who suffer alot from sore lips all through the year :) This i think is my favourite as i love the orange scent from it and i am looking forward to using this in the winter as i do suffer badly with dry lips in the cold.
Au Natural with Rosehip oil this is full of Vitamin A & E which is suppose to heal, repair and moisturise your lips.  This one is unscented but i do get a little waxy scent when applying but only if i really sniff it :) :)
I love them both to be honest i have both of these in my handbag.  When i want something a litle scented on my lips i will go for the Calendula & Orange.  I find the formula is brilliant on these not like vaseline as that can be too soft at times.  This lip balm stays solid and you just get the right amount of products on your finger to apply on the lips if you want more you can build it.  I like that this leaves your lips looking super moisturised.  It feels amazing on the lips and i love using this just before i apply my matte lipsticks or even to apply a lip liner all over the lips i found since having this on the lips it leaves applying lip-liner alot easier.
I would 100% choose this lip balm over Vaseline the fact that there is beeswax, shea butter and all the good stuff in them i can already feel my lips have felt better since using them
I 100% recommend these to anyone.
Just one thing i found when shopping for them is that some of them have very loose lids which means a total messy lip balm in the bottom of your bag if it falls off so make sure the lid is well tight before buying :)

Have you tried this lip balm or any other product from the Handmade Company
I have yet to try the soaps in which i will be purchasing one or two this week hopefully
I Hope you enjoyed this review
    Until Next time
Lots of Love Luck And Laughter

P.S Remember at the beginning of this post I was telling you how sunny it was? Well half way through this post i had to get up run around and gather my twins up in each arm as it started to pour.  Now I mean the heavens opened and i got soaked to the skin i mean all i was missing was the shampoo lol and then came lightening and then the thunder awwwwwwwwwwww good auld Irish weather you gotta love it ( or not)
