Christmas Gift Ideas for under €20

Hello My beauties I hope you are all well :) 

Wow Christmas day is creeping up on us big time.  I dont know about you all but this year has been nothing but crazy for me..... One being trying to get Christmas presents sorted.  Usually I am finished by now but with Confirmation, 1st Communion, Twins starting primary school and my oldest start Secondary its been an expensive year.  

Christmas coming on top of that I wanted to get good Christmas Presents that are not going to cost me an arm and a leg.   

To be honest it used to be heart breaking for me that having a budget at Christmas time ment that I could not by my closest loved ones the best presents I wanted to buy them.  That was until this year when I really had to put myself to the test and try and get the best but not leave myself short.  

So today I am going to show you some of the items I bought my loved ones and maybe this might help you with your last minute shopping :) 

I have to start with some amazing products from a company I cant help but love lately :)  You may remember my blog post about Ziaja which is a company in Poland but is now available in Ireland.  This company works hard at giving us the best quality skincare for a very affordable price :)  Check out my review on their Natural Olive Skincare.  I love this range so much I jumped straight onto their website to order some more products for my loved ones and also for my babies :) :)   Much to my surprise they have gift sets for Christmas so I just had to buy some for my family :) 

First up is of course some products for the children :) :) 

Let me tell you know my kiddies were full of excitement when they seen me take this out of the box :)  They smelled these two beauties and cried for a bath straight away :)  Of course they chose the Bubble Cola one first :)  

Well let me tell you all the Bubble Cola smells exactly like Coca Cola !!!! Fact !!!! I mean if you had your eyes closed and someone gave this to you to smell and taste you will drink it lol.  The scent of cola fills the bathroom as you fill the bath :)  The water changes to a nice cola shade and as for bubbles there is plenty of them :)  Well let me tell you now each one of my kiddies give these bubble baths the thumbs up they deserve the scent is unreal and their favourite is of course the Bubble Cola.  My oldest kiddies cant choose between the two haha.  
What I love about this product is that its delicate to the skin and the main ingredient in this is Glycerin which can help heal skin irritations such as psoriasis, rashes etc.  It also helps the body maintain its water balance which is what children need especially at winter and summer months.

Next up for the kiddies is this amazing shampoo :) Again another favourite of all the kiddies in my house :) 

This is the perfect shampoo for kiddies :)  Epecially children who have cradle cap in which some children do have or any sort of tenderness on their scalp.  The main ingredients in this shampoo is 

Glycerin which we already now is for moisture 

Pro-vitamin B5 also acts like a moisturiser but no any ordinary moisturiser this seals the moisture on the childrens scalp which prevents dryness or even any more dryness to the scalp which can cause cradle cap to worsen or even dandruff 

It is also said to prevent tangling to childrens hair which I can vouch as my daughter has very long hair and it can be a nightmare sometimes to brush.  It gets that bad that I do have to apply conditioner to her hair but since using this its not half as knotty :) 

The scent is amazing on this and my children describe the scent as "Marshmallows"  it does infact smell a little like that but I think the Cookies & Ice cream is a perfect name for what I smell :) 

Another thumbs up from the kiddies and mummy too as it causes less screaming while brushing my daughters hair and less arguments when I say its time for a shower hehehe what more can we mums ask for ;)  For 400ml per bottle and only costing €2.99 Its another perfect gift for your child :)

I do not know about you all but I find it very hard to choose something for men :)  and this has to be the first year I found it easier thanks to Ziaja.

Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Dark Tan Self Tanner

Hello my beauties :) :) 

I told you I would be back if anything new came up from Cocoa Brown and I have to say she has did it once again.  She has always been listening to what we want and alot of us wanted a self tanner that was easy to apply, easy on the skin and lasts 5 - 7 days without patchiness.  I absolutely loved the natural tan The 1 hour Tan gave me see the results here 

Well Marissa as she always does listens to her customers and decided to bring out a darker version of the 1 hour self tanner :) :) which was released Spring of this year 

Happy Days !!!!! 

We all know what its like wanting different tans for different occasions.  The original 1 hour tan is perfect for that everyday natural looking tan.  The Cocoa Brown Lovely Legs is perfect for a more darker look especially when you are wearing a dress and are going to be lots of photos ;) 

Now we have the Darker 1 hour Tan for those times where you want to go out in the town and look like you have just come home from a sunny Island.  I especially took advantage of this little can of joy when I was heading on a day trip with my lovely kiddies Powerscourt and knew I was going to be in lots of photos.  

Again like before I ex foliated my skin of course with Cocoa Browns Tough Stuff for 2 days before applying Cocoa Browns 1 Hour Darker Tan.  The night before applying I made sure to deeply moisturise the areas that are more likely to go darker aka rough area such as feet hands elbows and knees (Always remember to use oil free moisturiser)  Of course the best oil free moisturiser I have bee using lately is the Cocoa Brown Chocolate Whip Body Moisturiser.  I also varnished my nails so that my nails did not stain.  I decided like the last time I would apply this tan only for 2 hours as I did not want to be too dark but wanted it looking natural in the photos. 

I used a mitt to apply which is always the best way.  With the helpful tips from Marissa herself I first applied the tan to my legs that have the most skin aka calf and thigh then used the remain product on the mitt to rub into my feet and knees.   I can surely say that this is definitely darker when applying than the first 1 hour tan.   

You will have no problem seeing where you have missed :)  and what more the beautiful floral cocoa brown scent is still there I love it :) 

After two hours I showered lightly rinsing off the tan and was left with more or less the same looking tan as I get from the 1st self tanner but the next day I noticed my tan deepened and looked so dark not too dark but alot darker than the 1st self tanner. 

 Still as I write this I can't believe how beautifully tanned I looked and alot more confident I felt.  

I feel like I have the exact same lovely tan I got last summer in our gorgeous weather we were blessed with :)

Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff No Nonsense 3 in 1 Body Scrub

Well hello my beauties xxxxxx Todays review is on the Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff No Nonsense 3 in 1 Body scrub.  I honestly could not wait to get my hands on this when I first heard about it.  To be honest Since i started using Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan I have become hooked.  I can have a tan all year round and have comfort knowing I am in no way damaging my skin.  Not only that I have a Chocolate Whip Moisturiser to keep my tan in tip top shape plus keeping my skin feeling smooth and looking fresh and glowing.  For extra beauty I also have Lovely legs Tan  for when I want that extra bronzed sexy looking legs when I want to wear anything above the knee ;).  Marissa Has it all thought out so much so she has come up with yet another product to help us ladies achieve and maintain beautiful tanned skin.  Of course to have beautiful Tanned skin we have to prep our skin and have beautiful smooth skin with no rough parts to achieve a beautiful even tan.   Not only that but we also need something thats going to help remove the subborn old tan that has been on our skin for over 5 days and sometimes thats hard to remove without feeling like your tearing even skin cell off you :)  Well not anymore !!!!!!!!This has to be the best Body Scrub so far I have every tried in my life Honestly 

As I mentioned many times before I do suffer with dry skin mostly on my legs and feet area.  i mean the dryness where even when you apply a light moisturiser you see flakes about 5 minutes after.  Well using a rough exfoliatesr can be extremely hard on dry skin leaving it even drier than it was before.  Its horrible and most of the time you are afraid to ex foliate especially when tanning.  That's why most of the time I think peoples tan does not work out for them especially dry skin sufferers.   

Well this stuff is the answer to us dry skin suffers especially :) :) 
Marissa States that :  The TOUGH STUFF Body Scrub is a no-nonsense scrub for rough areas of the body – perfect for the feet, ankles, knees, elbows and hands. This amazing ex foliating scrub is brilliant to prepare the skin for tanning, removing stubborn old tan and of course, leave your skin silky smooth.

Look at how nice a pink this looks lordy lord so girly I love it.  When I first tried this little tube of greatness my tan had got a little too grubby and patchy and to be honest it was too embarrassing to show in photo's so I left that out but all you tan wearers know only too well the way tan goes after a few days :)  

So I started using this to remove my tan.  i was expecting rough harsh times ahead of me but to be honest even though this is full of tiny grains it didnt feel so bad , in fact it felt really good.  Not only was the tan coming off very easily but my skin was feeling smoother the more I rubbed.  In all honesty I only squirted this into my hands and applied to my body with long strokes I could instantly see my tan lifting off my skin.  Now yes you will feel these grains for sure something like you woud feel if using an exfoliating glove but better

After using this the first time i instantly fell in love.  My skin felt so smooth and soft and not one bit dry.  I mean no tightness especially after the scrubbing and I didnt even feel like I had to apply moisturiser.  The smell is amazing smells like the Chocolate Whip Moisturiser.  This is amazing stuff believe me I use this to prep my skin for my tan and there is no such thing as rough knees and elbows with me anymore.  I absolutely love using this to prep my legs before shaving there is no redness or blotchiness afterward and my legs feel amazing.  

I use this stuff 3 times a week and my skin feels amazing my tan looks amazing what more do you need :) :) 

My body has never been treated so well since I introduced it to the Cocoa Brown Range I honestly dont know How I survived in the past without it :) :)  So the only question I have is Whats Next Marissa ;)

Cocoa Brown Lovely Legs Instant Wash off Tan

Today I have a new review for you :) :) 

I am excited about this review especially because to be honest I was quite stunned at the outcome of this tan :) :) 

Ok let me tell you a little about it first shall I 

When Marissa Carter Producted her first Tanning product The 1 Hour Tan She designed it for us pasty gals who do not get to see the sun often yet want a natural all over tan thats going to be easy to apply and last up to 5 days.  It became no 1 in Ireland in no time since that Marissa has added more and more different products to her range listening to all our pleas she has managed to to products exfoliaters, moisturisers, night to day tan aww the list goes on.  You think she is finished when boom in comes another new product 

Cocoa Browns Lovely Legs Instant Wash off Tan was released 2 weeks ago for spring and I know for a fact it too is going to become a hit 

Retailing at just €7.99 and is available everywhere now including Cloud10 you are getting 75ml of product.  The can is much smaller than the 1 hour Tan but ladies dont let the little can fool you.  You might think its a little smaller but boy oh boy this stuff will last you a good few goes believe me.  

Marissa listens to her customers and alot of women where looking for a tanning product that was going to cover up some very familiar problems us women suffer on our legs 

Veins (yes even I have noticed at my age some developing around my feet area) 

Stretch Marks (yes its possible especially around the thighs)

Lumps and Bumps 

Mild Scarring 

psoriasis (what I suffer when stressed and lately I have had a few break outs on my legs)

Lovely Legs is surely the product that will give you the extra coverage to cover most of the above.  

This tan is not a moose type tan like the rest but a spray tan :) 

Luckily the directions are on the back of this because in all honestly I would have sprayed directly to my skin a goodness knows what I would have looked like lol 

Marissa recommends: 

 Prepare skin for tan by exfoliating with Cocoa Brown TOUGH STUFF in the days leading up to your tan application and moisturising with CHOCOLATE WHIP Oil-Free Body Moisturiser.  (All of which I did do for my night out Saturday night ) 

Shake can for 20 seconds and then spray LOVELY LEGS onto a Cocoa Brown Tanning Mitt and then buff the product onto clean, dry skin. (Check)

LOVELY LEGS will wash-off with warm, soapy water.

As with all instant wash-off tans, colour may transfer onto light clothing. ( in which I totally forgot about the night I came home and yes I can verify it does transfer onto your nice clean WHITE bed sheets lol but I can also verify the tan comes of without staining in the wash not a mark on my white sheets :) 

LOVELY LEGS can be used by itself for a medium bronze glow or layered over Cocoa Brown 1 HOUR TAN, for a darker look.

I actually thought I legs were tanned as I was well proud of them as I got a lovely colour in the summer last year and it lasted this long but as soon as I put The Lovely Legs Instant Wash off Tan to my legs I was shocked.  My goodness me amazing!!!!! 

I did exactly what it said spray onto mitt and buff into the skin.  Go easy girlies because you will be shocked with just how little this product takes to do your legs.  

Within a few minutes both your legs are bronzed up and ready to go I couldnt believe my eyes when I looked in the mirror at my legs Hello Sexy Legs !!!!!!

Totally amazing and takes little time and effort to achieve!!!!!

I do recommend you apply the 1 hour Tan The Darker shade or the Night and Day Tan to match up with the Lovely Legs :) :) 

What I notices about my legs on Saturday night as the light shown on my legs was a beautiful golden glow so I rubbed my finger on my leg and looked at my finger tip and bam it was like a highlight 

I just thought to myself at that moment Marissa you are a genious She was thinking healthy looking instant tanned legs that are going to stand out in photos when she made this product and thats exactly what you are going to get :) :)  I posted up a picture on saturday night to give you all a sneak peak of how my legs looked when I was out and I was sitting under a light can you see the golden glow :) 

10/10 of this again Cocoa Brown has yet another product your girlies just have to try out Honestly you will not turn back :) :) 

Amazing and So easy to take off in the shower.  Plus yes it is waterproof as I was splashed a few time with people pushing and shoving with their drinks in their hand Saturday night and not one splash mark was on my legs :) LOVE IT !!!!! THUMBS UP AGAIN MARISSA

Cocoa Brown Chocolate Whip Body Moisturiser

Hello My beauties I hope you are all well.  

Todays review is on the Cocoa Brown Chocolate Whip Body Moisturiser 

MMMMM Chocolate mmmmmm Oh sorry I went into a little trance there you see I am off Chocolate for lent and so far I am doing well and havent broke it but I Tell you something its getting harder as the days go by especially when I have kiddies around me eating it lol 

So I couldnt wait to get my hands on this moisturiser because at least in some way I can say I am getting my Choc fix lol 

Marissa Carter first released this beauty in November of last year I know I know Shame on me for not buying it sooner but to be honest I had so much body moisturisers to get through I just had to promise myself to wait.  I was delighted to finally get my hands on this to see for myself what all the raves was about :) 

As you all know I am a huge fan of Cocoa Brown Tan and never reach for anything else for instant tan that lasts for at least 5 days long.  Its not only natural looking but smells amazing and looks amazing.  Well Marissa decided to come up with a moisturiser to ensure your Cocoa Brown tan fades slowly and evenly.  How is it suppose to ensure that ?  Most body moisturisers these day have some sort of oil in them which makes your tan fade quickly where as the Cocoa Brown Chocolate Whip is oil free.  The fact that Cocoa Brown Tan is water based mixing a moisturiser that contains oil in it doesn't mix well with water based products.  

Marissa States:  The moisturiser is also highly nourishing to your skin and has benefits beyond that of maintaining the perfect Cocoa Brown Tan. Chocolate Whip contains panthenol, which is suitable for acne-prone skin as it moisturises while leaving pores clean and clear. Forming a barrier on the skin’s surface, panthenol helps to protect against everyday environmental damage.  It also contains Vitamin E which helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks, age spots and also strengthens the skins barrier function.

So now that you know the facts Over with let me show you the products and tell you my thoughts 

 As you can see the moisturiser looks exactly like chocolate mmmmmm.  Let me tell you now a little goes a long long way with this.  I wouldnt say this moisturiser is thick but it certainly is not thin one little squirt of this like the one in the photo would do the whole arm :)  Apon application this spreads out very evenly and soon the chocolate colour fades to white then clear.  I am amazed at how quick this absorbs into the skin and yet my skin feels so moisturised and fresh and cool.  

Oh my goodness the scent..... Wow oh wow is it beautiful.  You might actually think it smells like chocolate but it doesnt.  The smells is like the tan itself.  Cocoa Brown explains the scent as Tahitian Gardenia scent with an injection of Cocoa and thats exactly what it smells like .  You get this beautiful floral scent from the Tahitian Gardenia with a hint of cocoa its amazing.  The scent also lingers all day long and even on the clothing you wear after applying.  

Another great thing about this moisturiser is that you dont just have to apply it while you are wearing the Cocoa Brown Tan but also when you are not.  You can use it as an everyday moisturiser aswell.  I am super impressed with this I have to say.

Even today I ex-foliated shaved and showered and usually when I do this my legs which are super dry end up still flaky even after moisturising I tell you know not only are my legs super soft and smooth but they look super moisturised and flake free.  

I am in love for sure and will surely be repurchasing this when I run out :) :) I have also tried this over my tan and it works amazingly giving me the moisture and shine after 3 days of wearing the tan It actually made my skin look like the first day of tanning :) :)

Cocoa Brown Tan Spring Launch Party 2014

Well Hello There Everyone How are you all today :) 

Last night I have the privilege to attend the Cocoa Brown Tan Spring Launch Party in the Vintage Cocktail Bar (VCC) in Dublin 

I have to say it was one of the best Launches I have been to in a while.  From the moment I entered the VCC I could feel a sense of warmth and felt very welcome.  The staff Of the VCC were extremely welcoming and very helpful.  

I will surely be going there again :) :) 

I was one of the first to arrive at the event and of course I was greeted by the lovely Cocoa Brown Team Marissa Carter of course full of smiles and looking absolutely stunning Stephanie and might I say her dress blew me away , she was very welcoming and full as smiles I felt like I knew her for a long time and Ashling also a beauty and very chatty from the word go I felt like I was catching up with friends more than anything :) :) 

The next thing i noticed was the amazing display that was over in the corner and wow oh wow it was like a princess corner.  I was in complete awwwww.  

Sugar & Spice - Dublin, Cakefield Avenue, Scarecrow Flowers All help achieve this beautiful display aswell as Cocoa Brown add their products on display for extra beauty.  

After having our chats we then sat down to make quite a difficult dicission ..... Which cocktail to pick from the wonderful selection on the list and the VCC were clever enough to name these cocktails related to Cocoa Brown I thought it was brilliant :) :) :) 

So of course I opted for the Lovely Legs Cocktail and It was absolutely beautiful and POWERFUL Wowzer :) :) 

It wasn't long before many other bloggers arrived and wow every last one of them looked amazing.  it was brilliant catching up with ones I have met on many occasions and even better getting chatting to ones who I have never met in person but follow their blogs.  I got chatting to the lovely Adorebubbles and met her lovely mum whom I have to say looks fantastic.  I also got chatting to Eimear Byrne and her dress and makeup looked beautiful.  Joanne Larby aka The Makeup Fairy.  Awww the list goes on and on their was so many there :) :) 

While we were all chatting away the lovely staff of VCC brought out some amazing refreshments Chicken Wings, mini desserts and these lovely finger foods

The atmosphere was amazing and to be honest it I didn't want to leave.  The time flew by and it was great talking to everyone especially about the excitement of Cocoa Brown Tan and their new releases.  I want to thank Cocoa Brown For inviting me and for organising the fabulous goody bag we got I am super excited to try their new products :)  I was totally surprised to find a voucher for a free cocktail from the VCC in which I will surely be using and its a great excuse to go back as its a beautiful place.  And lastly thank you to Penneys for the shocking voucher we got in our bags we all love Penneys and only today I was in to take advantage of the Spring sales.  

I Promise Promise Promise that I will have reviews up on these babies asap :) :)
