December Glossybox 2012

Hey My Beauties :)
Today I am showing you what I got in the Last Glossybox of the year :) :)
I can tell you now that this box is one of the most impressive boxes I have gotten all year :)
:)
I was Actually expecting a red box like last year for Christmas but instead we got a lovely silver box with lovely star decorated wrapping on the inside :) This box is going to be even more perfect for my box of goodies I plan to fill for my mum for Christmas like I do every year and which she loves to get :)
This months box is aimed at "Festive Celebrations" and has even come with an extra gift for all subscribers :)
Even the normal card with a little description as been replaced with a booklet with more details about the products and information on some discount codes on some products featured on the Glossybox website :)
So Let me show you what I got :)
Milk_Shake Conditioning Whipped Cream 100ml sample which originally comes in 200ml & Costs £14.79
Oh My goodness the Smell Is good enough to eat.  It literally smells like vanilla Milkshake.  This comes in a moose like form and feels really soft and fluffy.  The morning I got this I had actually only washed my hair so I immediately applied some to my hair.  Goodbye to the scent of my shampoo hello to vanilla scented hair :)  I cant of yet tell you if it had or has made any effect to my hair obviously as i have only used it twice but will keep you updated :)
This brand also does shampoos etc
here is their website
Next Item I noticed straight away was
Seche Nail Laquer in shade "Enamored" we got full sized of this which is 14ml and costs £9.95
I have to admit I never tried this brand before.  I was stunned by the size of the bottle this little beauty is going to last forever :)  Plus I haven't even near this shade in my huge collection so I was even more excited. I love the skinny brush as it leaves applying the nail polish so much easier and less messy
This is a stunning Coppery/orangey/gold shade its most unusual but i love it Plus it compliments my hands and makes them look a little tanned.  After one coat I was amazed with how pigmented it was I only really applied a second coat to make it last longer as I wash alot of dishes and kiddies lol.
Next Item
Sebamed Anti-dry Night Intensive Cream Original size is 50mls and costs £9.99 sample is 15mls (i think )
I haven't tried this yet but I am surely looking forward to as it promises alot of things such as:
• Calms flare-ups, irritation and tension
• The rich lipids of jojoba oil support a lasting improvement in the elasticity and smoothness of the skin
• 3% rapeseed phytosterols protect against dehydration, relieving itching, tension and burning sensation in the skin
• Active ingredient phytosterol equivalent antiinflammatory effect to cortisone, but without the side effects
• Easily absorbed, no greasy residue
• Stabilizes the moisture balance of the skin
• pH 5.5
This seems to be a popular brand even though i have never heard of them but they do everything for skin including baby lotions and even feminine washes
So I will Keep you updated on this too :)
Next up
Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick in shade "Cherry"  this costs £4.99 for full sized in which we got :)
I am ashamed to say it but its true as much as I love Sleek especially for their eyeshadows and blushes I have never tried their lipstick (I know I know shame on me) but I was so excited I find have one in my collection.  Oh my goodness the packaging is so cute and small :)  The shade Oh wow is it pigmented :)  I will give a full review soon But I was Pleasantly Surprised by the creamy soft texture of this lipstick.  One thing i can say is you would definitely have to apply a lip liner with this to stop it bleeding :)
Next Up
Lemon Eau De Parfum by Mary Greenwell 1.5ml Sample original size 50mls costs £60
You surely do get the lemon scent aswell as a musky scent to this I am not sure if its my scent but its not the worst perfume I have worn.
& Lastly our extra treat :)
The Limited Edition Glossybox Blusher in "Rosewood"
This is a nice little treat thank you very much Glossybox :)  Its a matte rosy pink blushe and actually nicely pigmented.  I havent tried it yet so I cant give you too much information on it but its a nice little extra treat :)

Well now as i said earlier I am well impressed with this months glossybox and looking forward to playing around with my new products
Do you get the Glossybox?
Did you get anything different?
:) :)

Until Next Time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

October Glossybox 2012 - DIY Beauty

Hey my beauties how are you all doing?  :) Getting so close to Halloween now the kiddies are getting excited now and for the first time ever my twinnies will be able to go trick or treating awww i cant wait :) They will be totally amazed with the fire works and bonfires hehe
Anyways as you can see i still haven't unsubscribed to Glossybox reason for that is i have been actually impressed the last 3 boxes they were quite good and found myself reaching for alot of the samples from them lately :) so this months came this morning and i am going to get right down to showing you what i got :)
Now you can imagine my excitement when i seen this card first in the box :) DIY Beauty box yeeeeeeee.  With the weather changing and skin changing etc i had already got ideas in my head of what could be in the box as it stated on the card that we could create our own "Home Spa" experience :) not only that Glossybox is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month by donating to Breast Cancer Care :) I Love It.
So on with the show :) :)

First up on the list is
Anatomicals Don't Just Clean It Woman, Scrub It - Body Scrub 75ml Scrub costing £3.49 for 200mls
This is a nice sized sample I like the packaging its nice a girly.  This definately smells of grapefruit its lovely.  I have actually tried this already it came at great timing this morning :) i was nicely surprised at how this lathered up and gave me a nice gentle exfoliation.   My skin felt nice a soft too for the price its surely worth the try but as i only used it the once this is only a first impression i will keep you updated.
Next up
Olay Regenerist 3-Point Treatment Cream Fragrance Free 7mls - Original size is 50ml and costs £29.99
Olay statesthe  Regenerist 3-Point Treatment Cream is specifically designed to give dramatically younger-looking skin for areas most prone to ageing—eyes, jawline, and neck.
Hmmmmm I dont know about this i dont think it would be something i would purchase especially with the price tag but i will see how i get on with it and let you all know
Next
Skinetica Anti- Blemish Treatment 10ml Sample - Full size is 100mls and costs £6.99
Ok this is something I am actually happy with having and will surely try as lately i have bee getting a few nasties on my face for some apparent reason  Be it weather change, too much heat in the house, stress, trying out produts whatever i have been suffering.  Its calmed down now but im surely i will be reaching for this at stages :)   One thing i have noticed about this is that the scent reminds me of fairy liquid Anyone else get that scent or is it me

Dr Jart Premium Beauty Balm 15 mls - Original size 40ml for £24.00.
This Dr Jart+ BB Cream provides high SPF40 protection with anti-oxidents. A slightly glossy, low coverage cream which helps fight ageing. Particularly suitable for those over 30.
This really got me interested in trying like almost straight away as it states:
1 Perfect Cover
2 UV A/ UV B Protection
3 For Sensitive Skin
Plus it has SPF 40
The shade did look a bit on the dark side from the tube and i was quite impressed when i swatched it i literally put a pea sized amount on my arm and rubbed it in and it cover quite alot around the area.  The consistancy is not thick whatsoever.  I applied this with my fingers.  It was a tad bit dark on my face not too dark i actually liked it on .  The only thing i have to say is if you suffer with an oily complextion you are going to find this very very shiny.  I found this a little shiny and used a translucent powder over it just to take some of the shine away but left it that it still looked flawless.  I was impressed it lasted all day long a good 10 hours without having to use a compact.
It feels so light and only gives light coverage.  I had a pimple on my cheek that is so obvious (dont ya hate that) it did not cover it up
But my face did look even and very natural and the best thing about it is even with SPF 40 it does effect photos with flash :) Happy Days
And Lastly
Yves Rocher  - Moisturising Cream Lipstick - 160 Mauve Cost price £14.50 for 3.7 g product
A melting texture, hydrating and nourishing. Perfect coverage from the first application, lips are enhanced by a smooth, radiant film. Its Plus : The precision of its application, thanks to the flat bevelled edge. The click which ensures good closure.
Well now the price tag is what got my attention wowzer that's about 15-16 euro for one lipstick hmmmmmm.  The lipstick I was holding in my hand when looking at the price tag did not look like an expensive lipstick its so light and the packaging isn't exactly what you call fancy to be honest maybe I am just been fussy lol.  As I always state its not really the packaging that is important anyway but that was my first thought.  Now when i took the lid off I instantly got a cosmeticy scent not strong but its there and instantly I wasn't sure about trying it as i hate strong cosmeticy (old ladies lipstick) lip products but I chanced it and surprisingly enough I didn't notice the scent too much i could actually tolerate it.  I got instant colour from this lipstick boy is it pigmented.  You get medium coverage for sure.  It feels extremely soft and moisturising and the shade is stunning.  Its a perfect fall shade and one shade I actually do not have to my collection.  I took a picture of one coat on my lips and then applied a 2nd coat to show how build-able it is :)
So there you have it thats all the items i got in the October Glossybox now for my opinion.....
I am actually quite happy with everything i got especially with the full sized lipstick that literally cost the same amount as the box so the rest of the items is a bonus.  I am looking forward to using these items Further.  For the lipstick I don't think i would go out of my way to rush and buy another i like the one i have its nice to have an expensive lipstick but it hasn't exactly blown me away there are cheaper versions out there that's certainly opened my eyes more.
So what did you get in your Glossybox.  I know a few people got different items in theirs
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

September GlossyBox 2012

Hey my beauties how are you all doing.  Well now i cant believe i am one of the 1st in Ireland to show off what i got in my Glossybox for September.  You can imagine my shock when the postman knocked on my door and handed me this months glossybox :O
So I actually was that shock i just ripped the box open straight away and low and behold a lovely limited edition box :) Isn't it the cutest i was delighted as its a change from the normal pink box

So this months box is in fact a Limited Edition and the products inside were picked by London based up and coming illustrator Maggie Li.  So basically all the product in the box is to introduce us to some of the most exciting rising stars across fashion, design and beauty.
So lets take a look at what i got in my box shall we :)
Lady Gaga Fame Fragrance Sample:  I have heard of this fragrance coming out.  To be honest i was sceptic about it as I am a fussy so n so when it comes to perfumes and for some reason i have not as yet come across a celebrity released perfume that has wowed me.......Maybe one yes i would buy but apart from that none so i went ahead a gave this a squirt... the scent is quite strong even with a small amount which is a good thing.  I am now wearing it about 4 hours and i have to say its a lovely girly scent.  The scent is sweet but not overly sweet.  I have a feeling this fragrance will be a hit.
Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum and 5 Minute Facial Sachets – I got 2 of each sachets one is a Snaker Serum which reduces with appearance of wrinkles and the other is a 5 Minute Face Mask.  Hmmmmm I will quite happily give these a try :) :) and will update you all on how i got on with them
Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream:  Well i was happy when i seen this little beauty as i have made a little packed with myself that i will start using eye cream but always without a doubt forget to buy one.....It was never on my shopping list before (i know tut tut) so when i do go out on my little shopping trips i never remember anyways .......
This is Suppose to soothe tired eyes, smooth away dark shadows and reduce the appearance of fine lines.  So i will surely be trying this straight away i will keep you updated :) :)
Oh and by the way the cost of a full sized tube of this is £20 for 15mls so we literally got half the size for a sample not bad :) :)  Plus glossybox gave a discount code to get £5 off a full sized tube
BioSilk Silk Therapy:  A lightweight treatment that helps moisturise and restructure your hair without heaviness.  Now if you follow me on facebook you would have seen a status i put up last night about how much i have noticed in the past week with the weather changing my skin hands and hair has become so dry.  The cold weather always effects me that way and especially when i start lighting my fire the heat of the house and the coldness outside this could be something i might make use of and like....I already love the scent of it so thats a start :)
The original sized is 50ml and costs £15.80
Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Complex:  Ok you all have to admit at some stages in our lives we worry about those lines happening to appear everywhere, the whole staring at the mirror literally scanning every part of our faces to see if there is A) any lines or B) and more lines so my point being is your never too young to start using anti wrinkle creams or anything to do with helping to reduce it.  So I am looking forward to trying this cream out as i have hear so so much about how good Olay is and even my Nana uses Olay and has done for years and her skin is always so radiant
Original sized is 50ml and costs £29.99 (wow it must be good for that price)

So thats what i got in my box this month.  I am loving the box itself and will surely make good use of it.  Did you get anything different?  I am not exactly super excited about the box for instance we got no full sized products or no makeup products but not disappointed either.  Its vertainly not the worst box i have gotten :)  The creams I will surely try out.
Are you happy with your GlossyBox ?
Until Next time

August Glossy Box - International Superstars

Hey my beauties How are you all doing :)
Well I am sure you have guessed by now what this blog post is all about :) :)
Its hard to imagine that only a few months ago i was a tad close to unsubscribing from Glossybox but lately i have been impressed with the boxes i have been getting.  This box is another I have to say I'm impressed with :) Well done to you Glossybox team you are really putting alot of effort into our boxes lately.
So this months Glossybox International Superstar Themed :)
In other words Glossybox goes global with hero products from around the world for us to try out in one lovely pink box, that have cult status in their native country which some of us probably never hear of well i know some of these i haven't heard of and have had pleasure in trying.
So enough jibber jabber lets see what i got shall we :) Now keep in mind this is just first Impressions as you need to use these products a few times before final decision but i will keep you all posted :)

So first up is Germany

Optically brightening effect polish with anti-yellow formula. Thanks to a special pigment, Pro White neutralises discolorations on the nail surface, making brilliant white and glossy nails.
Alessandro - Pro White Original Effect Polish
Costs £7.85 for 10mls
I am very excited to try this out as i do use alot of nail polish actually i dont think i go a day without having nail polish on otherwise i feel naked.  I do realise that weakens my poor nails and also makes them discoloured in which i hate.  So it is quite hard not to put coloured nail polish on to cover those nasty stains.  I would love to go around with natural stain free nails so i will be putting this to the ultimate test :)

Next up is Japan

Discover the secret that Japanese women€“ known the world over for glowing, ageless skin€“ already know: Beautiful skin begins with DHC Deep Cleansing Oil.
Now this one i am super excited about :) :)
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
Costs - £18.50 for 200mls
This little bottle of oil is suppose to be full of goodness and suppose to be a miracle by completely removing your makeup even waterproof mascara.  The goodness comes from its olive and rosemary oil.  Its suppose to remove excess oils etc from your face.  Hmmmmmm i wonder i always have been afraid to let oils near my face i feel oils could break me out and make me feel like scrubbing like crazy until i feel unclogged again but i got over it and have tried this for the first time yesterday.  First impression??? I love it...  Its amazing it literally took off every bit of my makeup even my waterproof mascara and liner.  I simply put a few drops on my hand rubbed them together covered my face with it left it there for 5 minutes and rinsed off with warm water and BAM makeup gone and my face didnt feel greasy after i rinsed it off.  I even checked with a toner if there was any makeup left on my face and nothing not a smidge.  So i will continue to use this for a while to see how my skin takes to it and get back to you all for an update.

Next up is Spain

This flower shaped eye shadow compact with mirror and applicator is perfect for summers spent on the go! The tonal gradations allow you to shade, contour and highlight subtly or dramatically, depending on your preference.
Vera Valenti - L'ombre à Paupière Margarita
Costing £3.85
Ok i wasnt exactly excited about this little palette to be honest my first impressions when i saw it first was hmmmmm looks a little on the cheap side it kind of reminded me a little of the e.l.f £1.50 eyeshadow quads you know the one with the 4 colours and the tiny mirror only this is bigger.  The eyeshadows are not bad either some of the are very sheer to be honest they are not worth playing around with but the darker colours are pigmented enough.  I found the eyeshadows to be a little chalky and had some fallout while using them but for the price and the fact you are getting 10 little eyeshadows you cant really complain.   If I was asked would i try another palette i would probably have to think about it :)  You will see with the swatches below some of the shades are not even visable on camera all shades are swatched beside each other

England is next

Championed by industry professionals, celebrities and all lipstick loving ladies alike, Lipcote is an iconic, award winning British beauty staple celebrating it'€™s 50th anniversary.
Lipcote Lipstick Sealer
Costing £3.99 for 7mls ( This is full sized in Glossybox)
This was on my wishlist a long long time actually i first seen this on Sineady Cadys The makeupchairs videos  where she was giving tips on how to keep your red lipstick in place and lasting for hours.  I never really got the chance to find it but now i can tick this of my wishlist.  I havent put it to the test but i can tell I will love it as i trust Sineadys word when she says that this is a great product but I will still update you on it :)  But on a good note im glad i have this as there is a few lippies in my collection that do tend to bleed so this little beauty will surely stop that from happening :)

Next up is Glossybox

We have teamed up with the beauty industry insider's favourite make-up brand Kryolan to bring you the perfect lip shade for everyday. The Fashion Lipstick range was developed for professional use and has a creamy consistency. Soft and velvety in application, the preparation features a care complex that means it's pleasant to wear.
Glossybox Lipstick in Glossy Pink
Costing £9.50 for 4g (This is full sized)
Now when i seen this at first i though hmmmm this is another cheapish product.  I honestly do not know why maybe it was to do with the packaging or something but then i looked at the card seen the price and say "whaaaaaaat £9.50 which is about 11 euro for this lippie it better be good for that price" Well now when i swatched it i changed my mind it felt really creamy and boy was it pigmented.  It doesnt really have a strong scent but the little scent it does have smells like a typical lipstick.  The shade is a beautiful shade of pink i have to admit.  It wouldnt normally be the pink lipstick i would go for but its growing on me especially applied lightly but you can surely build this shade put to make it as pink as pink could be :) :) It feels very moisturising and soft and creamy and applies so so easily.  It lasts a good 3 to 4 hours before you have to reapply but to be honest you could get away with longer before reapplying as i found it stains the lips even after i washed it off the stain was still there so thumbs up to glossybox but i would love if they made more shades or even thought about it because i would surely purchase another to try out

Last but not least is Italy

An Italian floral chypre fragrance with notes of alluring fruitiness of smeggia peach, alba truffle, magnetic white flowers, and mysterious patchouli, oak moss and cedar woods.  Valentina Assoluto stands for a modern heiress who knows how to play with her sensual aura. She is more intentionally seductive, and has something slightly provocative and dramatic in her attitude. Her magnetism remains unaffected but intense - her fragrance reflects her precious and intense femininity.
Valentina Assoluto
Costing £61 for 50mls
Not alot of people like getting perfume samples but i do I like to have an option and try out different scents.  There is no point in sticking with the same fragrance when there is so so many perfumes out there to try and also so many new ones coming out all the time.  I just wish glossybox would put some samples in of more affordable perfumes every now and again as the ones we have been getting cost so so much.  This fragrance is nice but not one i would go out to buy to be honest.  I found it very strong and when i finally calmed down i wasnt fussed about the scent.
Well now I am finally finished.  Are you still awake lol.  Ah well at least you got swatches and a mini first impressions review on the products.  As i said above overall this months been a good box and its making me look forward to next months one
If you get the glossybox did you get the same or something different? What did you think of yours I would love to hear from you.  If you have a blog post done about it post your link below as i love to see what other people got and what they thought :)  Or are you interested in checking out Glossybox for yourself if so click here to take you straight to the site :)
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter
