Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Collection

Hello my beautifuls :) How are you all doing? Wow its only 37 sleeps to Christmas, are you all getting excited? I know I am I just cant wait to wake up Christmas morning with my 5 kiddies and seeing their little excited faces when they see what they got :) 

Anyways today I am going to show you all my Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Collection :) In the picture above I have 7 but since taking this picture I added another 2 to my collection (not that i had enough already eh?) I will add them with swatches below :) I am sure you all have heard about these little beauties more than enough times lol after all they have been so so popular since they first were released Last year within about 1 month nearly every beauty guru I watch on Youtube had them in their favourites videos and i have to admit i was pulled in on the hype as you can see :) 

So there is 20 shades available in this collection so you will find yourself overwhelmed with trying to choose which shade to go for lol this is where blog posts come in handy so one word of advice for you before you even try to go buy these do your research first check out the shades and make a note of which ones you would like to try that saves alot of time haha. 

The price range of these lip butters can certainly vary depending on where you get them from but in America they can cost in around $7 each in Ireland they cost about 10-11 euro each which is a bit pricey here but i got mine on ebay thats why i have so many :) Unfortunately the supplier i got them from on Ebay doesnt sell anymore so i cant supply a link but I am sure you could get deals with other suppliers if you wanted more than one :) 

Ok lets Talk a little about the packaging and then i will go ahead and show you my shades :) 

The packaging is lovely in my eyes it looks like a lipstick instead of a lip balm.  The lids are cute and makes it easier to find amongst my huge lipstick collection lol.  The top of the lip is clear to make it easier to see the lip shade.  On the bottom it has a huge stick stating the name of the shade which is also handy nothing too exciting but at least its not cheapy looking after all its not the cheapest lip product so im glad it looks as much as you pay for it.  

So to cut it down to size this product is:

Not a Lipstick yet not a lip balm

Its not as pigmented as a lipstick but not as sheer as a lip balm 

Its as moisturising as a lip balm 

and has ingredients such as Shea butter, Mango Butter, jojoba seed oil and Coconut Butter all those good ingredients to help your beautiful lips but is it all worth the hype that they have been given for the past year hmmmmmmmm let see shall we but first onto the shades and swatches :) 

001 Pink Truffle:  This is a beautiful Rosy pink with brownish undertones shade perfect for this time of the year it does in fact have very very fine shimmers in with but not too noticable on the lips it gives off a sort of light frost look and makes you lips look a little more plump  :) 

Next up 

015 Tutti Frutti:  I ended up buying 2 of these shades by accident I have one up on my blogsale :).  This shade is a perfect summery shade.  This is a stunning coral orange shade.  I thought this wouldn't suit me but because it is sheer to medium coverage it looks great.  

Next 

025 Peach Parfait:   This is actually quite sheer more sheer than the others.  The shade is a lovely peachy nude with golden shimmer even though it doesnt appear peachy on my lips as mine are pigmented it turned out more pinky.  It gives off a lovely sheen to your lips a perfect every day shade that would suit any look you wear.

030 Fig Jam:  Now this shade was a shocker for me I thought it was going to be alot darker on my lips as it looks in the tube.  This is a stunning red-brown shade i actually love this shade lately as i find it perfect for everyday wear for the season.  

Next 

035 Candy Apple:  Oh I just love this shade :)  This is a stunning red with orange undertones.  This red is perfect for those who are afraid to wear red lipsticks its perfect for those date nights where you want to make those lips look sexy and kissable all at the same time.  Its also the red that does not bleed what more do you want eh? :) 

Next up is ...

045 Cotton Candy:  Awww another fav of mine i have to say Even though i have warn toned skin this really works for me its a lovely cool toned baby pink with gold shimmers and maybe its the gold shimmer that makes this shade work but it certainly has hit my favourites :) I love it with a dark smokey eye :) 

Whats Next?

050 Berry Smoothie:  Again another Favourite of mine :) This is a lovely Berry pink shade a perfect everyday wear lip shade but gives a lovely colour payoff to a simple makeup look.  

Next 

055 Cupcake:   This is another cool toned baby pink a little like "Cotton Candy" only that this is more on the cooler side it has little specks of white microshimmers which makes they lip butter more frosty looking it looks more refreshing on the lips :) I actually find this gorgeous on the lips STUNNING 

Lastly (finally lol) 

090 Sweet Tart:  One word for this one SWEEEEEEEETTTTT!!!! I love this shade I wore it alot in the summer :) Its a beautiful bubblegum pink.  I got alot of compliments wearing this as it suits my warm complexion.  Stunning

These lip butters feel amazing on the lips.  They are so soft and creamy and glide on brilliantly.  The best thing about them is they literally need no effort to apply within seconds you can glide these on and go and have instant sheer-medium coverage colour on your lips.  Do i think they are worth the hype yes i certainly do i love how my lips feel so moisturised, look sexy, and have colour on them.  Do i think they are work the 10-11 euro no i don't think they are worth that for sure as the lip butter i find only lasts about 2 to 3 hours on my lips before i have to reapply.  If I am looking for long lasting colour on my lips i wouldn't go for these I would actually reach for The Revlon just bitten kissable lip balms well over these as they are moisturising and also stain the lips which lasts longer and they cost around the same price but i do love these too I do find i reach for them alot which says alot.  I love how pigmented they are even though they are a lip butter.  I have one in my bag all the time.  I would say definitely try one for sure as you wont regret it.  If they are ever on offer grab loads :) 
I still want to get one more shade if not more my aim at the start was to get "Creme Brulee" but any time I try to get it there is never any left :(

Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eye Shadow in Precocious, Adventurous and Seductive Swatches & Review

Hey my beauties :)

Todays review is all about the Revlon Colorstay 16 hour Eye Shadow Palettes.

Yes I Know I am always late with new releases lol but at least I got them on the same year they were released eh? hahaha

These little beauties were released around the start of the year and there is seeminly 16 shades to choose from.  

I got these from my lovely reliable ebay seller i have been telling you all about :) these 3 were included in with the Loreal Infallible Eyeshadows .

I was very interested in the fact that Loreal claim these are 16 hour wear.  To be honest i was sort of hmmmmmm about this claim but we will see. 

  Each palette comes with 4 eyeshadows.  I love the was Revlon has put these eyeshadow palette together to suit each other, this is handy for people starting out with makeup or people who do alot of travelling and do not want to bring handfuls of eyeshadow palettes with them.  Whats even more brilliant is that they have instructions on the back to show you how to apply them :) 

Ok to my knowledge these are selling for around $7 or near that price. 

The packaging is pretty straight forward.  They are square plastic palettes with 4 eyeshadows and one sponge tip applicator.  The package is very sturdy which is handy when you are travelling as these have been put to the test in my house with my kiddies been around one of them was dropped a couple of times and none of the eyeshadows broke :) 

So on with the shades :) 

Precocious:  This little beauty I was more than impressed with to be honest :) :)  I am saying this in my best french voice "Beauiiiiful" 

The first shade is a lovely Shimmery silver gives a frosty finish 

The Second shade is a medium charcoal 

The Third shade is a medium toned plum 

& lastly is a beautiful deep burgundy

 Ok the shadows are not as pigmented as i thought.  They are pigmented but i was expecting more.  They are buildable tough :) with a good primer these do last all day but without a primer they do not last the 16 hours that they claim :) They eyeshadows are quite soft in texture and do create a tiny bit of fallout but nothing that a swipe of a brush cant handle :)  In all i love the shades in this palette it creates a lovely day time smokey eye and this is perfect for Autumn :)

Next up 

Adventurous:   This is yet another perfect Palette for Autumn.  
The first shade is a lovely creamy gone of white shade it sort of has a yellowy undertone to it 
The second shade is Deep olive green with tiny golden shimmer. (stunning)
The third shade is a golden bronze 
& the forth is a dark chocolate brown matte :) 

This palette is full of pigmentation and well worth investing in :) I experienced a little fall out with the second and last shade but nothing major.  I found this easier to work with than Precocious and the shades blend really well together.  I highly recommend this palette :) :) These shadows really did last all day with a primer.  I wore these eyeshadows from 10 in the morning until 8 at night and found no movement whatsoever :) 

& Lastly 

Seductive:  This palette i am 50/50 about. 
The first shade is a very very sheer sparkly white.  When you swatch it all you really get is shimmer 
The second shade is a very very sheer light purple with white shimmer again when you swatch it you are getting little to nothing only shimmer
The third shade is love lilac more pigmented but still needs to be built up 
& Forth shade is a beautiful darkened purple this is my favourite out of the 4 shades. 

Now I love my purples but this palette did disappoint me.  The 2 first shades were literally none existent when it came to trying to apply them.  All i could get was shimmer which was a same as they do look lovely in the palette.  The last shade is fantastic and I found it very easy to work with and to apply.  To be honest I would not purchase this palette again as i find that only one shade stands out in it and its not worth parting your money with over 1 shade.  
I even found it hard to swatch them for photo but managed after swatching a few times over each other these swatches are made with no primer 

Over all I am 50/50 about the palettes  Even though i only have 3/16 shades I am sort of not sure about buying more to try.  I have seen a few other shades that are well pigmented from other reviews but i feel you can get better palettes for the same or less value that would be better in pigmentation.  They are not bad either for instance the 2 palette I reviewed i absolutely adore and found the pigmentation brilliant.  I just cant understand why all the palettes are not the same in pigmenation after all they were all made around the same time by the same company. 
I would like to try the other palettes that i did spot but i think it will be a while before i do try them

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stains

Hey My Beauties How are you all doing :) 

Oh My Goodness have i been excited to do this post for a while now :) 

I have been excited since i realised i was able to get 11 out of the 12 shade of the New Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stains :) 

Since these Balms were released around May of this year in America and In Ireland they were only released around July-August but to be honest i have not spotted them in any of my pharmacies or stores near me yet  Have you?

I have read quite a few blog post on these since they have been released and to my understanding in America for one of these the cost around $6-8 each but in Ireland they cost about 11 euro which is cheap but not cheap enough to buy the whole lot :) 

So how did i manage to get all 11 of 12 shades without it hurting my purse???? I can hear that question in my ears right now i can read your minds as you read this post.  Welllllllll

I actually done some serious hunting (well my blog is not called Nina's Bargain Beauty for nothing i tell ye :) ) 

I found this fantastic lady on ebay who sells them she sell all the latest beauty products that have just been released or are very hyped up in the beauty industry and I seen she was selling bulks of these products like 6 each for a certain price so i messaged her and asked her how much for all 11 and other items i always wanted to try.  I sat waiting in complete nerves afraid to see what the final price would be and too my amazement well actually i nearly fell off the chair she quoted me a price I JUST COULD NOT REFUSE

For 11 shades of Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stains & 10 Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows (in which a review will be up very soon) I paid .......................................... 80.83 euro ................................ALTOGETHER isnt that amazing :) It was so good i done another shop with her and got an unbelievable deal with that too but thats another story anyways today i am reviewing these little beauties :) Sorry about the long but im sure you all dont mind when at the end I will share the link to this amazing shop :) 

So first up is 

So im sure all of you know about these by now but these little joys are compared to the Clinque tubby stick which cost like an arm and a leg only these are way cheaper.  This makes me even more excited than i am already which is over over excited believe me :) :) I love and adore the packaging on these they are chunky cute neat and tidy and the lid is firm tight on these babies so no fear of having a capless lippy lying around in your dresser and handbag with these :)  Whats even better is that these stick dont need to be pared as they are twistable yeeeeee happy days :)  Lastly is the scent in which i like there is a light minty scent which subsides almost straight after application but at least its not unbearable :) :) 

Now for the swatches and pictures 

First Shade is 

HONEY

Honey:  This shade is a perfect my lips but better shade in short MLBB :) The is a lovely rosy pink shade and goes on quite sheer.  My lips are pigmented as it is on their own so this is litterally like a nice glossy with a little shimmer 

CRUSH

Crush:  Oh wowzer just look at that swatch and thats just one swipe BTW :) This is a deep berry shade.  This shade is definately more pigmented and more staining.  I applied this first thing in the morning and gave my lips a good coating which didnt take much.  I found after eating lunch it did lighten up a little but was good enough for me to not top up as it was almost too pigmented for me for an everyday wear lippie.  I found my lips still stained at 5 oclock that even before i went for my bath.  This surely ticks the box for a long long lasting colour :) 

CHERISH

Cherish:  This is a little beauty I love this shade.  Its a beautiful pink with a slight rose undertone to it.  When i swatched it on my hand at first i thought this shade wouldnt be that noticeable but when i applied it to my lips i fell in love :)  This is a perfect first date lip balm/stain.  The glossiness from the balm and the shade put together will leave your lips looking irresistible.  With the man paying full attention to your luscious lips (sorry got a bit carried away with the romantic scene lol) 

LOVESICK

LoveSick:  This is another very pigment lip stain.  Its a lovely fuchsia pink with blue undertones it sort of has these tiny shimmery bits in the product but when applied the effects look amazing thats what gives the bluey undertone.  I applied this really well on my lips and again like Crush, the stain lasted a good part of the day :) 

SWEETHEART

Sweetheart:  To me Sweetheart is a light version of Lovesick.  I did find a difference in the swatch but not really on the lips especially when i applied a good helping of it to my lips.  This one i actually prefer to the Lovesick as i can wear this on a daily basic without looking over done some days so thumbs up for that :) 

SMITTEN

Smitten:  Another Berry pinky shade this is very very pigmented and will surely stain your lips :) :) This is a perfect lip stain for big day outting such as weddings etc especially if you are one who doesnt lip reapplying all day you surely will be sorted with this shade :) :)  One word of warning dont plan to change your lip colour while wearing this little gem as you will still no matter how much you try to take it off have this shade on you all say long :) 

CHARM

Charm:  Now onto a lighter note :)  To be honest i thought shade would surely not be my liking as i was afraid this would be too pale for me and make me look washed out especially when i swatched it.  I was wrong yet again !! This is a light peachy shade on the lips it looks beautiful and good enough to use as an everyday shade.  It looks frosty on the swatch but no on the lips.  It looks more glossy than frosty.  When this settled into my lips and began to stain it left a very light orangey stain which actually looks fab !! 

RENDEZVOUS

Rendezvous:  Now this is the shade i was most excited to try out of all of them as i seen the fabulous review by the Sunday Girl and her lip swatch of this and thought i gotta have it.  This is a beautiful bright coral shade.  I know what you are thinking as i thought it at first too ORANGE!!! but believe me as The Sunday Girl mentions when this wears off a little it does look more corally pink on the lips which is fantastic :) This little beauty has hidden secrets a changing of colour and its amazing I Love It.  I am not saying i dont like the shade when its first applies as I love it also but love the way it changes also.  This is very pigmented but if you want to keep it the shade you first applied then you will surely need a top up about 3 hours later.  

ROMANTIC

Romantic:  This name surely suits the shade.  As it is a very romantic red shade.  Red to some people is very scary and i love that this shade in particular is buildable which mean you can have a tint of red or build it to the strength you want :)   I like that this is a warm red as i do find it hard to wear cool reds especially very pigmented ones.  This is a favourite of mine I Love it. 

PRECIOUS

Precious:  Another shade I assumed would be awful on me.  Now to be honest would you not think looking at this swatch that it would make you looked drained AGAIN i was wrong :) :)  This is a great nude lip balm/stain :) Its not a wishy washy nude on the lips and it has tiny shimmers in it so it looks a little more glossy :)  It also has a little pink undertone to it which help to not wash you out.  This is a perfect everyday wear balm :) 

ADORE

Adore:  This shade is beautiful :) The brown-red tone has little tiny gold shimmers which works amazing together and gives your lips a beautiful shade especially in the sun :)  This is very pigmented and i noticed after applying and then reapplying a few hours lately this stain stayed put all day :) I Love it :) 

PHEW finally at the end of them lol I am going to show you some of them altogether so you can see the differences of them all especially the ones that have a familular description :) 

Oh my goodness i love them all I really do every shade i would most definately use as you can have them a sheer or as deep as you wish.  They stay on amazingily even the more sheer ones.  The most pigmented ones are brilliant for when you want to go away for the day or have an occasion and dont want to be topping up every hour :)  The balm i found lasts about 3 hours but even when the balm wears off my lips still feel every so moisturised and not one bit dry.  Word of warning when using the most pigmented one please ensure you exfoliate your lips as this colour will seep into the cracks of your lips and it can leave you lips looking a bit odd while it wears off.  Other than that i am so so happy to have these to my collection and will surely be keeping every one haha.  I even want to finish my collection and get the one shade I am missing :) 

I highly highly recommend these to everyone they are so worth your money and more in fact i think these are actually said to be better as in lasting power than the Clinique chubby sticks.
