Sleek Makeup Bare Skin Foundation Review

Hello my beauties I hope you are all well :)
Today I am reviewing the Sleek Makeup Bare Skin Foundation in which I have been wanting to try for some time.
Its actually by chance I got to try this foundation.  In May I went on holidays with my kiddies down the country and thought I had all packed in my bag only to realise I had all my makeup apart from my go to foundation :)  I know I know total shock but when you are packing for 5 children and yourself you will end up forgetting something :)
So When we arrived to our destination I went foundation hunting only to find no where around was selling my go to foundation so I took the opportunity to try a foundation i never tried before and as you can see i picked this one :)

Now to be honest depending on where you buy this foundation from you are not going to have much of a selection of shades to choose from.  I was only able to choose from 5 shade from where i purchased mine but on the boots website you have 12 shades to choose from.

Sleek state:  Bare Skin Foundation's unique light foundation gives skin a barely-there no-makeup feel, whilst delivering a beautifully even and natural, flawless finish.
The innovative, moisturising formula also assists in evening out skin tone, whilst concealing blemishes and imperfections.
This superlight base feels weightless, allowing skin to breathe.
Each foundation costs about €11.99 for a 30ml bottle which is quite reasonable for the amount you are getting :)
The shade I chose was shell because to be honest I am quite pale even in the summer this year due to me staying in from the sun (exposing your skin while pregnant to hot summer weather is more dangerous as your skin is more sensitive)
Shell isn't the lightest shade available its the 2nd lightest.  White rose is the lightest but it has a pink undertone to it so it would not suit my skin tone.  Shell has more of a neutral undertone so its perfect for anyone who naturally tans in the sun :)
The foundation itself comes in a glass bottle with a pump which I do personally like as its more hygenic.  The pump gives just the right amount of foundation without giving you too much.  You can also twist off the lid so when you start to run out you can scrap out whatever is left in the bottle :)  making the most out of your money

When I first pumped a drop on my hand I found the foundation seemed thick in consistency which is not a bad thing but I was a sceptic due to the fact that it does say on the packaging that this is lightweight.  Spreading it on my arm was a different story as it felt more light weight and just from this single pump it spread alot

Applying this foundation to my face was also a breeze.  It feels very lightweight on my skin. So lightweight that I did not find alot of difference in my skin after one layer.  The coverage was near none existent to be honest and I found that it barely covered what I wanted to cover which was mostly pigmentation.  I didn't expect full coverage as I do not wear full coverage foundation but what I did expect was a little more cover up.
So I applied another layer and it did build up a little to more of a light to slight medium coverage on my face.  I could see some of my pigmentation peeping through but felt satisfied with the coverage as i was just wearing it during the day.  Here is a picture of before and after two layers :)

To me the coverage is like a BB Cream.
I also found that throughout the day say about 4 hours after wearing this foundation it looked like it was wearing off my skin.  I felt like I wasn't wearing any foundation at all and it seemed to look patchy even after me setting it.
I really hated that.
I have tried everything to make this foundation work for me from applying primer to applying 3 layers to mixing it with another foundation and even though it does work with a different foundation its defeating the purpose really !!!! Why go buying a foundation to mix with another foundation .
It really is not all that bad though if you are starting to wear foundation or have not got many complains skin wise this would work for you as its more like a BB Cream than a foundation but if you are looking for more than that I would recommend giving this a miss :)

I really hope you enjoyed this review.  Let me know if you have tried this foundation yet and what your thoughts are :)
Until next time

Sleek I-Divine Celestial Eyeshadow Palette

Hello my beauties I hope you are all well :)
I think at this stage you all know I absolutely love Sleek's I-Divine eyeshadow Palettes by the amount of reviews I have and to be honest having about 7 palette just doesn't seem to be enough for me when Sleek announces yet another new release :) :)
In the Past 4 months or so I think Sleek has released 2 new I-Divine Palettes one at Christmas which is the Celestial Palette as part of their Limited Edition stock and Garden of Eden which is Permanent.  Now don't be disheartened as Celestial is still available to buy on the Sleek Website for €9.99 and Cloud10 Website
Celestial was release in time for Christmas and of course is full of sparkle and festive colours of course you can use these shades for everyday, nights outs or whenever you want.

Like every other Sleek Palette this palette has 12 eyeshadow which contain shimmer matte and metallic finishes which reminded me a little of the last Christmas The Sparkle Palette which has 9 shimmery shadows and 3 mattes.  This Palette is a little of the same but with different shades.  Please Excuse my reflection in the next photo :)

I love the colour combination in this palette :) :) this is perfect for parties and also for Spring and Summer in fact you have some Autumn colours here too ;)
Starting with the first row

Solar:  This is an incredibly pigmented shade A Beautiful Cranberry with silvery shimmers.  The shimmer is chunky but when used in the crease and blended alot of the chunky shimmers disappear.  I did find a little fall out with this shade but nothing too cray cray :) Stunning shade :)

Astra Blue:  This is yet another highly pigmented shade.  A Little chalky and you will have a little fall out.  This shade verges between royal blue and purply blue with silver shimmers.  The shimmers are not as chunky as the first shade

Aurora:  This shade is fabulous oh my goodness me.  Again very pigmented and has silver shimmer much like the 2nd shade.  This mid toned blue toned green will be fabulous to use as a pop of colour or all over the lid :) :) Again a little chalky but nothing too major

Galactic:  A very pigmented metallic silver.  Has a soft buttery texture and hugely pigment perfect for on the lid or as a highlight

Earth Shine:  I am in love with this one A Deep Navy with silver shimmer and wow is this pigmented I have worn this shade once so far as a deep smokey eye and wowzer amazing.  This will surely create a wee mess so be careful as its chalky but so worth it when all cleaned up

Dark Matter:  A very pigmented black with silver shimmer beautiful :)

Row 2 is next and here we have :

Stargaze:  This is a semi matte violet shade, it has a slight metallic finish.  This is surely lighter than the rest of the shades :) This is for sure a buildable colour and fantastic for Spring and Summer

Saturn Ring:  Oh lordy this shade is stunning.  A Duo Chrome Deep purple shade with a metallic finish.  This is absolutely stunning :)  you can see a tint of pink and blue in this shade which is very eye catching especially in the light or flash of a camera

Meteoric:  This is a matte shade very deep yet reminds me a little of Solar only a lighter version this is stunning in the crease or to use as a transition colour the more you build it the more intense the shade is

Terrestrial:  Another matte shade for us this time a lime green.  Now this one is the more sheer one out of the palette its very light .  Its build able but to be honest does not get any strong in colour

Lunar:  This is a stunning shade and one that I have not come across in the sleek palettes :)  It looks like a baby blue when you see it in the palette, when you swatch it, it looks silver when you apply it depending on the light hitting it you can see a light lilac shade very unusual I LOVE IT.  of course this shade has a metallic finish and is hugely pigmented :)

Eclipse:  Another Mac Club Dupe for sure this is another duo chrome eyeshadow :)  This has a brown base with reflects of green You could wear this on its own and it would look like you were wearing 2 shades.  Applying this shade to the lid and blending it out into the crease you will see the green on the lid and brown in the crease I love it :)

Now for the swatches.  The first picture is taken in natural light with no primer underneath

This next picture is taken with flash of the camera

Overall this is a very exciting palette full of fun shades that is suitable for anytime of the year.  You have daytime shades and night time especially.  The pigmentation as usual is amazing :) :)
Well done once again to Sleek
Here is a look I did yesterday using the shades Solar, Dark Matter and a little Galactic along with a rose gold from another palette and a matte cream to blend out harsh lines. The lighting was so bad yesterday I literally took about 30 photos to get as close to how the eye look looked in person :)
I especially love How Solar and Dark Matter mix into an absolute stunning deep purple shade its amazing you have to see it to believe it :) :)

Just to note I used no primer underneath just foundation on my lids :)
Have you tried this palette yet ?
Whats your thoughts on it
Until next time

Sleek Vintage Romance Eyeshadow Palette

Hello my beauties How are you all doing today :)
I have to admit I was sorry to see Summer fly by and feeling the cold weather coming in.  The fact we had such an amazing Summer left it even harder for us to say goodbye but to be honest I loved the fact that Autumn was coming in because one of my favourite things about Autumn is the change up of makeup looks.  I love the Autumn shades The Neutrals, Oranges, Reds etc........
This is why the moment Sleek released their new palette & Blush I didnt waste any time in going online to Cloud10 Beauty and buying it.  You can also purchase this many other sites such as Sleek Makeup website where at the moment they are doing a 10% off 11.59pm tonight and also Beauty Emporium
I knew just by seeing the shades in the palette on the website I would love it.
As you all know at this stage I am a huge fan of Sleeks Eyeshadow Palette.  Golly I cant even tell you how many I have at the moment but I know its more than 5 or 6 or even 7 hahahaha
If you missed any of my reviews about the palettes I own already click here to see the reviews I have done so far.
The Packaging is the same as usually.  The perfect black palette with a perfect sized mirror and a double ended sponge applicator along with it.  The palette contains 12 eyeshadows which are 1.1g each all for €9.99 or £7.99 Absolutely amazing price for what you are getting :)

Sleek Cosmetics has this palette well thought out honestly from the Name of the palette to the names of each shade to the shades it contains all relate to Romance :) ;)
The shades as you can see are names after some of the worlds romantic places plus the shade created the most romantic looks you can to make your eyes look fantastic and irresistible.
Oh ladies before I go on I am totally and madly in love with this palette every last shade is amazing Talking about shade let me show you a close up of these beauties :)
Starting from the top left :)
Pretty in Paris:   A soft buttery pigmented metallic silver.  The pigmentation of this shade is amazing.  A perfect inner corner highlight or lid colour.  This may give a little fallout but nothing too cray cray
Meet in Madrid:   This is another amazingly pigmented metallic shade this time a light golden shade.  A perfect highlight or lid shade or a simple pop of colour shade.

Court in Cannes:   Another Metallic shade this time in bronze I love this shade as I use it alot in the day time for a day time smokey eye.  It makes my hazel eyes pop.  Another very pigmented shade I love it

Lust in L.A:   Another Bronze shade with a tint of green through it a stunning pigmented shade with a metallic finish

Romance in Rome:   A deep Navy shade with blue shimmers and when worn gives the illusion of purple.  This I have to say was less pigmented than I thought especially with it been a darker shade I have tried this shade over a black base and it looks AMAZING for night time looks :) :)

Propose in Prague:  The one and only matte shade of the palette a perfect blending shade.  This is a beautiful medium berry brown perfect pigment and very pigmented
2nd row left to right :

A Vow in Venice:   I love this shade Its a beautiful cranberry shade with a slight metallic finish very pigment.  I did experience a little fall out with this shade but nothing too dramatic

Marry in Monte Carlo:   oh I love love love this shade with its beautiful metallic finish this deeper cranberry shade has a purply hue to it also hugely pigmented and a fun colour to play with

Honeymoon in Hollywood:   A Stunning berry shade that has a satin finish this shade contains silver particles than can be blended away.  I did find fall out with this shade again nothing too dramatic :)

Bliss in Barcelona:   Love is in the air in ninas house with this shade boy oh boy this shade is AMAZING!!!!! an absolute Stunning shade of purple with a metallic finish my favourite out of the lot.  Very pigment very soft and creamy and a joy to work with :)

Forever in Florence - A Deep Blackcurrant purple shade with silver particles this shade is BEAUTIFUL again the silver particle can be blended away and you get an almost matte finish to it.  Very pigment with a little fallout.

Love in London - Of course a black as sleek never lets us down when it comes to adding black to their palettes.  This black is not matte.  It has silver particles in it but when blended is in between a satin and matte finish.  Hugely pigmented I love it :)

The swatches above is taken in normal light with no primer underneath below the swatches are taken in direct sunlight again with no primer

Overall this is one amazing palette to have in your collection not only can you create the most amazing day and night looks from this but you are getting 12 amazingly pigmented shades for Autumn and Winter.  For the price this is more than your moneys worth :) :) I love it :) :)
Here is a look I tried out using this palette with the following shades:
With Catrice Made to stay highligher pen as a base
Court in Cannes all over the lid
Honeymoon in Hollywood in the crease
Propose in Prague for blending
Romance in Rome & Love in London also in the outer V

My Sleek Blush Collection

Hey my beauties How are you all doing today :)
Someone asked me a while back has I tried Sleeks Blushes and It dawned on me that I had never reviewed any of the blushes even though I first tried them about 2 years ago and built up a small collection ever since.  Tut Tut to me I was actually annoyed with myself as I love these blushes so much and use them on a regular basis.  Anyway better late than never eh and at least instead of reviewing 1 blush I am reviewing 4 for you all :)
Sleek Cosmetics is one of my favourite affordable Brands simply because everything that I have tried so far be it their eyeshadow palettes, their lipsticks, their blushes have all got amazing pigmentation and the quality is just as good as any high street brands out there.
You can buy sleek online from their site
Plus you can buy of various online stores like
Cloud10 or Beauty Emporium and many more
The Sleek Blushes are one of my top favourites from this brand
Each blush costs about £4.49/€5.49 for 8g of product and believe me that is alot of product :)
There are 10 shades to choose from and there is at least one to two shades suitable for every skintone :) :)
I have 4 as I said before and all 4 shades suit my skin tone.  I am about an NC 25 at the moment and each one looks amazing again my tanned skin in the winter I am more of an NC 15-20 and a couple of these blushes can be a little too cray cray if I use alot of it.
I love the packaging on these as they are very very sturdy.  They are very comparable to the Nars Packaging only these dont hold onto every finger print.  The one thing I have to say is the lid is quite difficult at the beginning to open especially if you dont have nails but after a few uses that soon stops.  Inside you get the perfect sized mirror for travelling.  Sorry about my reflection hehehe
Doesnt the shades look BOOTIFUL :)
Speaking of shades let me show you a close up of them :)
Pomegranate:  One word for this shade STUNNING!!!!! Dont judge the shade ladies I did for ages I refused to buy it as I thought it would not suit my skintone it looks so deep in the packaging I literally thought this was going to be a shade for the more darker skin tone beauties out there but I was very wrong this shade will suit everyone once you dont go cray cray with the brush that is.  This is a stunning Berry Pink shade with pink micro glimmers going through it.  This is the perfect winter shade for everyone and leaves a fabulous glow to your cheeks I love it :) A small bit of this blush goes a long way so use a light hand when using it :) :) you can always build it up.  :)  You might find this blush a tiny bit on the chalky side but nothing that will make a mess :)
Rose Gold:  This has to by my favourite out of the 4 shades i have.  It is also the 1st shade I ever got and I have since repurchased.  This again is probably one of the most popular shades bought from Sleek.  Its also suppose to be a dupe of the famous Nars Orgasm Blush.  This is a fantastic Pinky coral shade with strong reflex's of gold going through.  Its so so stunning on the cheeks and perfect for the summer months especially.  Dont be put off by the fact there is strong shimmers because it doesnt make you look like a disco ball it just makes you glow glow glow baby :)  Rose Gold is a little more chalky than Pomegranate and you will lose a little product but again nothing that will make a huge mess :)
Coral:  Ok you have no idea how afraid I was of this shade.  Just the word Coral frightened me I dont know why maybe because I thought the shade would clash with my skintone and make me look more orange than I am but I decided one day just to be spontaneous and try it out once and for all.  This is a strong Coral but not the bright orange coral your thinking of its a perfect coral for those days you just want a wash of colour on your cheeks when you have a smokey eye going on :) :) Its looks beautiful on the cheek but I do have to be careful with this one as any stronger than a wash is a little OTT on me.  Even though it looks like there is slight shimmers in the pan the blush comes out matte and is very very pigmented :)  Coral has no fall out whatsoever.
Flamingo:  I Love this shade.  This is a deep cool pinky shade it has silver reflex's.  This blush is also very very pigmented and will need a light hand.  Flamingo is perfect for all skintones and looks particular beautiful in the winter time.  Again don't judge the blush by the way it looks in the pan as its not as daunting :)  This blush is so creamy and soft and you have no fall out whatsoever.  Again you get a beautiful glowy finish from this blush and looks stunning if you do not over do it :) :)
To be honest I find absolutely not 1 fault with these blushes.  They are amazing for the price and the lasting powder is brilliant I found I got about 6 hours wear before even the slightest fading which is more than enough for a blush this price.  You couldnt ask for anymore from these.  I guarantee once you try them you will want more
So that is my Sleek Blush Collection so far No doubt There will be more in the future :) ;)
I hope you found this helpful
Until Next time

Sleek Makeup Showstoppers Palette Review

Hey my beauties how are you all today :)
Wow the summer holidays is already setting in for the kiddies as i type here I heard load TV on, Nintendo ds's been played and music on the phone as my 3 year old shimmy shakes to the music all oh yes and the other twin shouting (not singing) to the song been played all because the rain is about to fall here :( so much for summer eh?  but I still aim to get this blog post up :)
So todays review is on the Newest Eyeshadow Palette by Sleek which is Limited Edition.  This palette was first released in April and i just could not wait to get my hands on it because Sleek took the most popular shades from past palettes and put them into one which is the Showstoppers Palette :)
If you have been following me for a while you will know I absolutely love love love the Sleek I-Divine eyeshadow palettes they are amazingly pigmented and amazing value :)
I think I have about 7 or 8 palettes to my collection now and i love each and every one of them.  If you have missed any of my reviews on them click here to view all my reviews
The packaging is the same as it always is a sturdy black case which will not open unless you prize it open which is a great thing.  You get a great sized mirror inside and a double ended sponge tipped applicator which I always dispose of as I have my brushes that I prefer to use.  The eyeshadows are protected by a plastic covering which has the name of each eyeshadow on it :)
The names on the shadows as you might notice if you are a fan of the palettes are actually the names of what palette the eyeshadow came from for instance The 1st shade came from the Paraguaya palette so thats what its named on this palette :) great idea :)
Some of the shades I have not tried because I dont have all of the named palettes so I was even more excited to try them because they are the popular shades :)
So on to the shades and starting with the top row from left to right :)
Paraguaya:  This is a Matte peachy shade perfect for blending out harsh lines or even on the line for an instant wake me up look :) This is light and looks sheer when swatched but more noticable on the lid when you use a darker shade in the crease :)
Sunset:  This is an absolute stunning shade I Love it :)  Its a stunning metallic Burgandy and works amazing for my eyes as they make my hazel eyes pop :)  Its very very pigmented and alot goes a long way :)
Me, Myself & Eye:  This is another metallic shade A white with reflect of green in it a perfect highlight shade.  There can be a little fall out with this one but again a little goes a long way
Bad Girl:  Another metallic shade this time a stunning olive green with reflects of gold and again very pigmented and a little on the chalky side :)
Noir:  A gunmetal silver with reflect of blue going through it you perfect smokey eye shade and very very pigmented works well and blends with little effort :)
Ultramattes V2:  This is a matte black with a slight metallic finish.  This takes a little more effort to blend than the rest of the shade because its so dark but takes very little with each application.  This also works great as a liner wet or dry :)
Now for Row 2
Oh So Special:  This is another matte shade for you all this time a deep grey shade.  This is a little harder to blend so take your time with it but its very pigmented and beautiful :)
Bohemia:  Wow years ago I would have been afraid of this shade lol but this is the most beautiful pinky coral shade again a matte shade.  This is so so pigmented that a little goes a long way.  If feels soft and creamy and looks fantastic on anyone with green/hazel eyes.  I will post up a picture on a model I used this colour on later on :)
Storm:  A very deep matte navy blue shade.  This looks fantastic along side "Bohemia" A Very pigment shade but is a little chalky so best to apply before your foundation :)
Sparkle:  A creamy shimmery shade but has a slight metallic finish.  This is chalky also so be careful this shade is very soft and pigmented for a light shade and works perfect for a highlight :)
Au Natural:  A very deep purple with pinkish undertones and silver glitter this shade is BEAUTIFUL but does create alot of fall out be careful.  This is very pigment a stunning I love it you will find it is a little on the grainy side because of the glitter but you will not end up looking like a disco ball dont worry :)
Graphite:  This is a beautiful chocolate brown which has a metallic finish .  I wore this shade yesterday in the crease and "Paraguaya" on the lid and it looked so beautiful for a little pick me up look :) even for school days look :) This is a very pigmented soft shade a little goes a long way :)
As you can see each and every one of these shades are more than pigmented enough even the matte shades are pigmented which is a surprise because matte shades in general are usually hard to work with.  I love every shade and I think Sleek did well with adding all the favourite shades into one palette.  One thing I would say is that there is a good few shades in this palette that creates fall out and can be a little messy so what i do is create my more dramatic looks before applying my foundation at least that way you can clear up any fall out after you are done either that or apply loose powder under each eye and cheeks so you can sweep it away after.  I highly recommend this palette and I can safely say that its one of the best I have bought :)  Its a pity its a Limited Edition because I think it could become a favourite to anyone loves makeup :)
Here is a look I done on Sarah my perfect model :) :) ;)  In this eye look I used the shades "Paraguaya all over the lid, Bohemia in the centre of the lid, Au Natural in the inner and outter corner, Storm in the crease and Sparkle as a highlight on the browbone and tear duct" The look I did was actually inspired by another beauty blogger who created this look and I thought I would never be able to achieve it but did :) Her blog is called Glam Express she does some amazing looks and tutorials :)
Here is the look I recreated :)
you can still purchase this palette from the Sleek website or selected stores like Superdrug and boots :) for £7.99 or you can purchase this palette from the Cloud10 website who ship internationally :) (at the moment they are out of stock due to popular demand but I have contacted them and they said they are due a delivery in today)  for €9.99
I hope you enjoyed this review and if you have any questions comment below :)
Until next time
