Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick Review and Swatches :)

Hello Beauties I hope you are all well :)
As you can see I have another Makeup Revolution review for you all but I know you all enjoy them and are excited to see and hear my reviews on their products which I want to thank you all for your feedback :)  I love hearing from you all :)

I decided to bite the bullet and order 4 shades of lipstick from Makeup Revolutions Amazing lipstick range :)  To be honest there are that many shades to choose from you couldn't possibly only order the one.  With over 30 shades to choose from ranging from nudes to pinks to red both creamy and matte for only £1 each you just have to indulge right?!!

Starting with the packaging of course it reminds me alot of the MUA lipstick packaging (Take a look here) .  As you can see the lipstick has a see through block at the bottom which is handy for us to make out what shade the lipstick is without having to open the caps :)
What I love about these lipsticks compared to MUA's lipsticks is that A)  each one has a name instead of a number B)  The lid on these lipsticks are sturdier :)
I decided to order 2 creamy and 2 matte lipstick to see which formula works for me and what the formula between the two is like
Starting with the Creamy Lipsticks

Flashing:  This is a very very creamy blue-toned pink.  This lipstick is very moisturising and very comfortable to wear on the lips.  Its perfect for a spring summer lip I love it :)

Dusty:  A nice neutral dusty rose shade.  This is a MLBB lipstick.  Again Dusty is very creamy and pigmented.  It gives a slight metallic finish which some people might not like but to me it makes your lips look a little bigger :)

The Mattes

Beloved:  This is another MLBB lipstick a coral pinky shade.  This I found not so pigmented as I had to swatch a few times on my lips before I saw any colour pay off.

The One:  I really thought that this might be a perfect nude for me but I was wrong :(  Its very pale for me so if you have pale skin do not go for this one.

To be honest I prefer the formula of the creamy lipsticks rather than the Mattes.  I feel the mattes are alot harder to apply and drag on my lips when applying.  I feel the mattes do not last long either which is unusual for matte lipsticks as they normally are made to last longer.  The creamy lipsticks feel amazing on the lips and I would buy more of them for the summer time especially when you need that extra moisture :)      Paying £1 for these lipstick I cant really say anything bad about these they add colour to your lips, they add a little moisture and fade away nicely.  I found they last about 1-2 hours at the most which is almost the same time affordable lipsticks last.  The only ones I would not buy again from this range are the mattes.

Have you tried these lipsticks yet?  Keep an eye out for more lipstick swatches from this brand soon :)
Until next time

Shiseido Perfect Rouge RD 516 Lipstick

Hello my beauties :)
I hope you are all well
Today I decided to review this fabulous lipstick by Shiseido as I feel it deserves a full review :)
Just to refresh your memories I got this in the PowderPocket Box Last Month and instantly fell in love with it :)
I actually posted up a picture the day I got it on facebook with me wearing it and alot of you had great comments about it on my lips :) :)
In all honestly this is the first time I have tried the brand Shiseido and I was super excited to see that it came in the box as I have always wondered about the brand :) :)
The price tag of this beauty is fairly high I tell you so high its no wonder I have taken my time trying it out.  €27 reaches a no no point for me especially for lipsticks but I thought ok forget the price and just try it out to see if its worth all this ching ching :)
Shiseido date back to 1872 Wow I cant believe that but its true :)  It creator was Japanese and the first product introduced by Shiseido was a toothpaste from then on was a face powder then skin lotion then Perfume.  It became on of the biggest brands in the whole of Japan by 1957 it became known all over the world.  Now today Shiseido offers products for both men and women including makeup, perfume, skincare products etc
Its no wonder its one of the top High end brands of all time :) :)

Their Perfect Rouge range is huge with 20 shades to choose from you are bound to find one that suits you :) :)
Shiseido states:
"The Perfect Rouge is about colors that elevate the beauty in life.  Colours that bring true glamour and elegance within our reach.  Delivering this colour experience in such luxurious textures - with such nurturing care for the lips it is a feat of technology and it make the colour feel all the more special" .
Shiseido has alot of promises for this lipstick stating This lipstick Soothes and hydrates the lips without stickiness.  Offering moisture that lasts all day long improving dryness and roughness over time.  Perfect Rouge Lipstick embraces the use of Dual Optimizing Powder, Ultra-Fine Satin Smooth Pearl, and Super Hydro-Wrap Vitalizing DE, It combines powerful skincare with cutting-edge color technologies to create the ultimate lipstick.   So now that all that has been talked about let me show and tell you what I think of this lipstick :)

The packaging I have to admit is nothing to be excited about to be honest there are drugstore lipsticks out there that are more excited and looks more expensive than this.  You do know what they say though its not all about the packaging its the product itself :) :)

Its a simple Dark purple tube shaped like a flower with four hollows going around it.  The name of the brand printed on it plain and simple :) :) Its very lightweight and easy to store in your purse pocket handbag where every you desire :)   The one thing I have to say is that the lid closes like it has a slight suction at the end which means the lid will not come off easily in your handbag

When i opened this lipstick to see what shade I got I was surprised RED!!!!! and very deep in the tube like a blood red  :)  Some people would be slightly fearful of this especially if you are afraid of reds :) but believe me there is no need to be afraid of this one its fabulous.  I swatched a little on my hand and was actually surprised.  It was not a deep dark blood red like I thought only to be a pinky blue toned red.  I cant help but love blue toned reds as I feel they suit my skin tone alot better.  I was so pleased

On this lips this feels extra smooth and soft almost like butter.  Applying is like a dream even with this deep colour.  The lipstick feels more like a balm than a lipstick.  Not the balm that feels oily and greasy but the balm that feels like silk on the lips.  I It certainly feels like a luxurious lipstick on the lips.  I have especially tested this lipstick this week as I have been suffering with a horrible flu which involved me having to wear barely there makeup because I was constantly blowing my nose leaving me with dry skin around the nose and dry lips.  Applying this lipstick to my dry lips was amazing unlike some lipstick that soak into the cracks of your dry lips and becoming blotchy this lipstick glided on easily leaving my lips looking super moist and kissable :)

It doesn't stop there ....... This lipstick does not lose its moister at all for the day even when it wears off your lips still feel as moist as when you first applied the lipstick.  The pigmentation of this lipstick is incredible you can get away with just one coat and you instantly have colour on your lips.  In the picture above I have 2 coats.  When the lipstick starts to wear off it wears off evenly which means no blotchiness or no checking your lips every time you drink or eat.  I found it stains the lips and the more it wears off the more pink it looks on the lips :)   This lipstick is very transferable so be careful with your other half while wearing this because you will literally leave him with lipstick on his collar but while the lipstick wears off you are still left with colour on your lips for the day.
I have certainly had fun trying this little beauty out and will surely be keeping this for all the right occasions.  The shade is not for me for everyday wear as it is very opaque but i do sometime blot this over my lips for a little colour especially on my "No makeup Days"
So in all this lipstick really does what it says on the packaging it delivers everything it says and boy will you feel good wearing it.  Now paying €27 I still don't think I would opt to that as money I feel been a mum of 5 that is alot of money to splurge on one lipstick but for some of you out there who like to splurge now and again on make-up you have to try this lipstick :) :) Its amazing :)
I hope you enjoyed this review Check out Shiseido's website to see what other products they do :)
You can purchase this lipstick from Boots
You can also purchase this from Arnotts for €25
They are also available from Feel Unique.com
Have you tried this brand yet :)
Would this be a lipstick you would try :)
Until next time

Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick

Helloooooo My beauties I hope you are all well :)
Today I am sharing with you another product from The Natural Collection Range this time its the Moisture Shine Lipsticks :)  Its Not as if I have enough lipsticks of my own to play with I have to go and add not 1 but 2 more lipsticks to my collection lol :) Ah well the joys of been a beauty blogger eh?  Plus I just have to do it for my readers like honestly really I do :) ;)
Anyways back to the review I have noticed that you can only buy these lipsticks in store and not online which is a bit silly to be honest as they sell everything else online
I cant actually remember how many shades is available but I do know there are more than 6 shades so thats not too bad.  Each lipstick costs between €3 - €4 which is not bad for a lippie.
I am not going to go into the whole packaging malarky as I covered that on in the last Natural Collection review but as you can see it does look cheap which is a down fall but in my last review I didnt care about that as the blushes turned out to be lovely :)
Judging by the name "Moisture Shine" I knew these lipsticks were claiming to be moisturising leaving a shine and I wasnt wrong.  They certainly put you in mind of the Revlon Lip Butters :)
Firstly I will show you the shades then tell you what i think of them
Firstly we have Rose Petal

This is a light nude peach pink shade a perfect shade to go with a smokey eye.  To be honest this is a little on the pale side for me but for anyone with pale skin this would work for them.
Next we have Rose Bud

This one is my favourite shade out of the two.  This is a lovely rosey pink shade with golden shimmer.  The shimmer adds even more shine to you lips making your lips a little bigger.
Now for my opinion and to be honest its not going to be as positive as the blush review :(  First of all because the packaging is light and sort of cheapish I found the lipstick detached itself from the stick after first application and that's not just with one that's with the two of them.  I know that its not a great deal as you can easily depot them into little pots but you shouldn't really have to do that when you purchase a lipstick.

The Formula is very smooth and creamy and feels lovely on the lips as I said it feels more like a Lip Balm than a lipstick.  It look beautiful on the lips but I feel I have to seal it with a gloss or apply a lipliner first to make it last a bit longer.  The lasting power is not great if you eat and drink it literally lasts as long as a lip balm.  There is a slight scent off the lipstick a kind of false scent but it wears off about 5 minutes after application.

Application is a breeze it applies like a balm you dont even need a mirror to apply the lipstick the pigmentation is light but build able.  It does also look lovely on the lips and its a perfect light lipstick for the summer especially on your no makeup days and you want a little colour to your lips but in the winter time I dont see myself reaching for this and feel it will be left to one side until next spring/summer
I am wearing Rose Bud with a gloss over it in this picture
Overall they are not the worst lipstick I have tried but to be honest I wouldn't go repurchasing them either.  Compared to the ELF Essential line lipsticks that cost the same amount of money ELF lipsticks are much better in packaging, formula and lasting power
If they were a lip balm I would say thumbs up for sure.
Have you tried these out yet?  What is your opinion on them?
Until next time

Inglot's New Colour Play Collection Launch

Good Morning Everyone :)
I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer :)
Just this week We as in all the Irish Bloggers were invited to an Inglot Event to get a sneak peak of Inglot's newest launch The New Colour Play Collection.
I was super excited to go to it as I missed the last Event and was so disappointed but unfortunately the day got changed and I was going to end up missing this one too but I worked up a little plan and Thanks to the Lovely Ladies who work at Inglot in Blanchardstown They allowed me to pop in a few hours earlier to take a peak and take some photos :) :) The only thing I missed out on was the demonstration they did that evening and of course meeting up with my fellow bloggers but there are plenty of other times to meet up with you lovely ladies.  While I was there I also took advantage of their brilliant summer sale and got myself some lovely lovely goodies EXCITING but I am keeping what I got to myself just for a little longer so I can play around with them ;)
When I arrived the place looked as bright and colourful as ever but there was one section of the store that looked extra bright and that was the section which had all the New Colour Play Collection in :) (the angels were singing when I seen them in my head of course lol)
Of course I ran straight over to take a peak and drool over the amazing colours and products they had for all us beauty addicts :) :)
I took plenty of photos and I have all the information on prices for you but let me warn you now dont be too close to the screen because you too are going to be drooling :) :)
So first of all what caught my eye the most was the New Freedom System 10 Pan Lipstick Palette which retails at €68 altogether which is an amazing price as you are getting 10 different shades of hugely pigmented lipsticks for that price.  The shades look absolutely stunning, some shades might not attract some people but if you are one who likes to play around and experiment with makeup this is perfect for you :)
You can purchase them seperately which only cost €6 each :)
Next up are the New Colour Play Eyeliners which I was told can be used as a lipliner aswell.  I love a product that is a multi-tasker :) :) perfect for lightweight travelling thats for sure :) :)
There are 6 Eyeliners to choose from in this collection and they each cost €15
These eyeliners are so bright and cheerful and perfect for that go too pop of colour you desire for your makeup especially on days you dont want to go crazy with your eyes one swipe of these shades will instantly make a statement to your eyes.  there is also a well hidden sharpener with them which I love :)
They have also released 5 different shades of Mascara designed to help make the shades of you eyes pop.  You are getting Blue, purple, green, brown and navy.  :)  Each costing €10
Along with these guys you are getting new shades of nail polish which all look amazing bright.  I love the Inglot nail polishes as i have 2 in my collection already and thanks to Inglot for their generous gift I have another one to add to my collection and its an absolutely stunning shade.  The shade I got is 031 I love it :)
And Last but certainly not the least is their new release brushes to add to your collection of brushes you already have :) There are 5 new brushes to the collection and each one looks stunning
You have the Bronzing Brush which is €32,  Cream Foundation Brush which is €22,  Eyeshadow Brush which is €32,  Another eyeshadow Brush for creating the best smokey eye for €15 and the Eyeliner Brush which is €22 :)

I have to say every new item looks amazing and very very hard to turn away from.  When I was there I took advantage of the summer sale on the Palettes and ended up getting a 10 pan palette which I am excited to show you.  Along with some other items of course I got a great bargain.  You should surely pop into Inglot to have a look yourself and the staff are so so helpful they will help you out in choosing shade that will suit you eye colour and complexion
Thanks so much ladies You have yet another happy customer here :) :)
Check out their website for more information and all that good stuff :)
So thats it for now ladies and gents I cant wait to show you soon What i got :) so keep an eye out for that :) :)

Maybelline Superstay 14hr Lipstick in Stay with me Coral & Always Plum

Hey my beauties How are you all doing today :)
Because of this fantastic weather we are having I have found I am not wearing as full on make-up as I would normally wear.  But I still have to fill in the auld brows wear a little (or alot) of mascara and of course wear a little suttum on the lips and what better way to distract the fact you are wearing little make-up that to wear the most amazingly noticeable lips ;)
This is where these lippies come into the subject.
I have never tried Maybellines Superstay 14hr Lipstick before even though they have been out for quite some time now (slap on the wrists) but I have always wanted to try them so when I was shopping on Boots.ie I came across them not only that but there was an offer of buy 1 get 1 half price so I just had to take advantage :)
Maybelline Claims:
Never drying, always fresh and comfortable, the new SuperStay 14Hr Lipstick offers a multitude of vibrant shades in just one step that delivers a lightweight feel like never a longwear has before. It lasts 14 hours without ever drying, crumbling or feeling tight.
With its super stay power, this lipstick sets you free! Just one application and you’re all set for the day. No dragging, no fading, no drying…..but stunning gorgeous lips and lightweight feather feel!
There are 16 shades to choose from Altogether but on the boots site there are only 10 shades to choose from.  Each Lipstick costs €10.49 each
The packaging is very light weight which is what we like dont we.  :)  The lipstick comes in a clear packaging so you can see clearly what shade you are reaching for.  The lid of the lipstick is very sturdy and I love that as I hate lids coming off lipsticks in my handbag then there is all that mess no no :) :)
I decided on a bright and dark shade one for now the summer and one for the coming Autumn and Winter months
Stay with me Coral:  Oh my goodness me is this shade the brightest Coral you have ever seen.  Its absolutely stunning plus :)   This has a reddish pinkish undertone to it a lovely warm shade and very very pigmented.  One swipe of this across your lips and you have instance colour.
Always Plum:  This is for sure a very deep plum shade.  When layered it looks more on the blackberry shade side.  Again one swipe of this baby and you have instant pigmentation.  This is for sure more on the cooler side and will look fantastic especially in the Autumn and winter months.
They bother apply very easily and unlike most longlasting lipsticks or stains if you make a mistake you have time to fix it up before it sets.  It applys sort of like a moisturising lipstick but them sets to a stickish consistancy.  It does feel slight weird.  To be honest for the summer months when your lips are going to be parched so I will advise you have some clear gloss or balm to apply on top of this before leaving the house with these on.  Even though they say they dont feel drying they do feel a little to be honest but not half as much as some long lasting lipsticks.  As for the claims of lasting 14 hours ??? Hmmmmmm no not at all they look more like a tint after about 9 hours but still that's great going for a lipstick.
I did find when first applied they are a little transferable as I drank tea and ate but after a while that does not happen, the shade of the lipstick stays put.
The scent of this lipstick is not strong but you get a sort of vanilla scent which wears away after a while.
Even though they look matte in the packaging they have a semi-matte finish.  I think If I was to find anything downer about it, it would have to be the fact they feel a little heavy on the lips because of the fact they feel tacky-ish and a little drying but that is why i said make sure to keep a clear glossy or balm with you so you dont feel that.
So I think they are worth the money?  Well if you are one who does not like topping up every 2 or 3 hours and prefer a lipstick that lasts all day well yes they are worth it.  If you are one who doesnt like the feeling of slightly drying lipsticks or the sticky-ish feeling well this may not be for you.  The good thing about them is they are not too hard to take off either and don't leave a stain that will last for a day or two :)
Here is the swatches on my lips taken in the sunlight :)
Some difference eh?
Would you wear any of these shades?
Have you tried Maybelline Superstay 14 hour Lipsticks?
Until next time

Oriflame Giordani Gold Voluptuous Lipstick in Pink Lace

Hello My beauties :) how are you all doing today.
My apologies for been so slow with the reviews as the weather has been so so amazing the last 2 weeks it was hard to sit down in front of the laptop and do blog post especially with 5 kiddies and the fact that here in Ireland we are not used to such amazing weather so I took advantage with the kiddies and had a good few amazing day trips.  Right now as I look out the window I have a little sad face :( because its bucketing down meaning the rain is back :( and i have a constant reminder that only 2 days ago I got the most amazing tan a little too much in some places and it makes me already miss the beautiful weather but hey we were luck and summer is not over yet so we could get it back
Anyways I promise I will not slack anymore :) and today I bring you another Oriflame Product
This is my first time trying out Oriflame as I told you in my last review and when i saw this lipstick in the catalogue I just had to try it out.
Ok I have to admit The packaging attracted me more to this range of lipsticks.  The price didnt believe me but I just said I would give it a go and normally packaging is not a big deal to me but I just couldnt resist.  You have to admit yourself It looks fantastic.
To me the packaging on this Lipstick says woman with taste woman who loves a bit of gold in her life.  Woman who has paid big money for this lipstick !!!!
There is actually a whole range of lip products in the Giordani Gold range on the Oriflame Catalogue and they are verging on the more expensive side of the Catalogue.  There is more expensive lipsticks Like the More by Demi Lipstick which costs €21 and to be honest unless I see some reviews myself I dont think I could part with that amount of money for a lipstick
This lipstick on the other hand cost me €12.45 which was reduced from €19.99
Still expensive in my eyes but I treated myself and seeing as my baby girl destroyed by only expensive lipstick I have to my collection I went for it :)
Saturate your lips in a veil of glossy colour and multifaceted shine. With its comforting formula, this lipstick glides on smoothly and feels exquisite to apply. Its unique HydraFull Complex helps to impart clinically proven 8h moisturisation for fuller, more sensual lips that fascinate.
There are 10 shades to choose from in this lipstick so I went with the shade Pink Lace.
Pink Lace is a nude pink shade with tiny silver shimmers in it.  I have to say I was well impressed with the shade and glad the picture on the catalogue was near to what the actual shade is.  I am not a fan of shimmer lip products but to be honest the shimmers wear off with the lipstick.  The shade is sheer to begin with and to be honest I was expecting it to be a bit more pigmented but you can build it.  The texture reminds me alot of the Revlon lip butters.  Its very creamy and moisturising and feels like a balm on the lips.  It doesnt dry out whatsoever and lasts about 3 to 4 hours before I have to reapply.
This does feel moisturising and even though the shade doesnt last on the lips for more than 3 to 4 hours the moisture feeling lasts longer.  There is a slight cosmeticy scent off the lipstick not quite as strong as the Loreal Lipsticks but you will still get the scent.  I am impressed with the lipstick but to be honest I would not pay the full price again for a glossy lipstick.  I have more pigmented glossy lipsticks in my collection that was alot more affordable.  If the price was cheaper of course I would have probably all of the shades in my collection as it is a lovely lipstick.

This is a photo of what the lipstick is like on the lips taken with flash :)
This is what it looks like in day light :)
It is a beautiful lipstick and perhaps if it was a little cheaper I would buy more of them as they are quite moisturising and look amazing on the lips they give a plump look which I love.
Have you tried this range yet
Until next time
