Sleek Ink Pot Gel Eyeliner Review

Hello My beauties I hope you are all well :)
Todays review is on the Sleek Ink Pot Gel Liner
I got this a good few months ago and was waiting until my favourite Gel liner was finished before I tried this.  My favourite you are wondering well it has to be of course the Inglot Gel Liner which is super black super matte and super budge and smudge proof.  I just could not tear myself away for the Inglot one because it was just perfect !!! Well of course it had to run out at some stage and instead of buying another in replace I did what every blogger does and tried another.  To be honest I was super sceptic of this eyeliner because nothing has ever matched up to my favourite but I kept an open mind and will always when it comes  to trying out new eyeliners :)
Sleep Ink Pot Gel Eyeliner only costs €6.99 for 3.9g product which is about half of what it costs to buy the Inglot Gel Eyeliner.  I have to admit it saves alot to buy this one but I never once complained about paying €15 for the Inglot Eyeliner which contains 5.5gs of product because it never let me down.

Sleek have almost every claim that Inglot makes apart from stating that this liner is a matte finish so you can only imagine my curiosity in trying this little beauty
Sleek claim:  Line and define with Ink Pot Eyeliner’s intense black gel formula. This innovative eyeliner glides on smoothly without flaking, smudging or budging, making it crease proof for a guaranteed look that lasts all day.

  • Smudge-resistant
  • Intense black, highly pigmented formula
  • Weightless gel texture dries smoothly and quickly

  • There is only one shade of this eyeliner available at the moment which is "Dominatrix" aka Black.  I dont know if Sleek are planning on adding more shades but there is no mention of that at the moment.
The packing is straight forward the gel liner comes in a nice little box and inside the box you will see your little frosty glass pot of liner.  Not only that.......... but a teeny tiny liner brush ...... I am telling you I was not expecting this I couldnt help but saw awwwwww

The brush that does come with the liner is actually quite handy and works well for travelling :) :)  I still prefer my normal liner brush but if I didnt want to bring my brushes with me I have this little mite to do the job :)

I am well impressed with this eyeliner and use it every single day I also have one in my kit.  The consistency is not to wet or too dry but wet enough not to dip the brush in and have too much on there to work with.  The liner is easy to work with as you have control of how much product gets on the brush.
So for all of you Gel liner beginners out there who havent found the right liner this could be the one.  I love the fact that you have control of how much liner goes on the brush as sometimes when you pick up too much liner it can be a nightmare when trying to get the perfect line.  Having control means you can create not only the perfect line but also how pigmented you want it too.
As for pigmentation this little beauty is highly pigmented and very very black.  The swatch below is made with one swipe :)

Even though the eyeliner is creamy and applies like a dream I do have to say it sets very quickly so you need to work fast with it.  Otherwise if you go over it again and again it will appear lumpy and flaky.  Apart from that I absolutely adore this liner and it is a great cheaper alternative to my Favourite Inglot Gel Liner.  I have to also add that it you use this on the waterline you will need to set it (if you have sensitive eyes that water alot) with a black shadow to make sure that it does stay put all day long.  The question is has it made me replace my favourite Inglot Gel Liner?  Well yes and no .  Yes because it does everything it says lasts all day and also is alot more affordable and no because I just cant help but love everything about the Inglot Gel Liner from the matte jet black finish to the long lasting even on the waterline finish until you take it off.  But Sleek Ink Pot is now my Favourite affordable liner and Inglot is still my favourite higher end Gel liner :) :)

Here is some photos below where I have used the liner and I can confirm my clients said the liner never budged until they removed it themselves :) :) So you have not only got the thumbs up from me but from my clients to xxxxx

So there you have it a big thumbs up from all of us for the Sleek Ink Pot Gel Eyeliner
Have you tried this eyeliner yet
What is your thoughts on it :)

**** I have just spotted on the Sleek Website that there is 15% off all orders this weekend which is available worldwide and ends Monday so if you want to try this liner out grab it at an even cheaper price ;) The Code is "SLEEK15" ***

    Until Next Time

    Catrice Longlasting Waterproof Eye Pencil

Hello My beauties How are you all doing today :)
Wow it seems like ages since I have done a review on any new products By Catrice.  It not because I dont use Catrice anymore its just that I am trying to use up the products I already have and trying to refrain from buying more until then.  Up until maybe a month ago I just couldnt help myself when I seen these Eye Pencils as they are new to the Brand and I also bought a New Lipstick which I have already reviewed on a Guest Post on The Lovely Girlie Bits Blog if you missed it check it out as its a Dupe for a high end lipstick ;)
So I have still been a good girl havent I :)
Well today I am finally reviewing the New Catrice Longlasting Waterproof Eye Pencils in which I have 3 shades of.  The fact that these eye pencils are so affordable I ended up purchasing 3 shades to test and try out.  There are 8 shades to choose from altogether.  Each eye pencil costs as little as under €3
I decided to pick 3 of the more darker shades as I have more than enough of the brighter ones in my collection.
010 New Kids on the Black is your typical matte black shade
050 Brown Town Girl is your typical matte chocolate brown
070 Blue Berrymore is a stunning metallic blackened navy blue shade and looks stunning
The best thing about these eyeliners is that its twistable which means no sharpening is needed I love that.  Also included is a hidden sharpener for the days you want a very precise thin line.  Thats always handy as even with the twistable eyeliners the tip gets a little stubby sometimes.
The first thing I noticed about each one of these eyeliners was that they are all very creamy and smooth.  They applied without any effort.  They do tug just a small bit but thats to be expected with a waterproof eyeliner.  You also have time to smudge it out before it sets but you have to be quick as they do set very quick.  They are also very pigmented which is great because you use less product.

The big question is do they live up to their name "Waterproof"
Wellllll........... I just had to put them to the ultimate test one day in particular..... The day it was about 28oC in heat the sun was beaming on top of me and I decided even though i was sweating with the heat already I would hike up a huge huge hill or more like a mountain in this heat..... wearing these eyeliners well two of them ;)
Here is a picture of me on the top of the mountain as proof ;)
Im am tired even thinking of that hike but boy was it worth it because the view and breeze was amazing :)
By the end of the hike I had to whip out my blotting papers because dang girls was wet on my face :)
I could not wait to check out the mirror to see did I have panda eyes or not
I was well impressed with the result apart from a tiny bit of fading the eye-liners stayed put RESULT :)  My makeup looked the same as it did when I first applied it HAPPY DAYS!!!!
This is the makeup look I wore that day with The black eyeliner on the lid and the brown on the waterline
I did notice after 8 hours of wear they did fade a little more but to be honest I really put them to the test that day.  On an ordinary day they last 10 hours on my top lid and wore off a little on my waterline but was still noticeable   They do come off easy with an eye make-up remover which is a bonus.
For under €3 these eyeliner are surely worth trying out and get a thumbs up from me.
    Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

    MUA Gel Eyeliner "Underground"

Hello there my gorgeous beauties.  I hope you are all well on this fine Thursday Morning :)
Well I say fine as I look out the window it isnt so fine as its dull cold and just down right blah!!!! But if you be positive you can make even the dullest looking days look bright ;)
So todays review isnt exactly a new product plus I am sure most of you MUA fans out there have already tried this but for some of you who havent or are wondering about it I decided to review this little beauty for you.
Its the MUA Gel Eyeliner.  They are not exactly New New but they were only released at the end of the summer last year.  There are 4 shades to choose from on the site and they cost £3 each.
The shades that are available are Black which is named "Underground" , Brown which is named "On the Move", A Pewter shade which is named "Fairground" and Lastly a Blue teal which is named "Tribe"
I opted to get "Underground" just to try it out, I was actually quite proud of myself not ordering all shades but I was just been careful to try out one before going back for more ;)
The packaging is ever so cute and small I have to admit.  I was surprised by how small it was and is.  The gel liner comes in a little black plastic tub.  It also comes with a little eyeliner brush which clicks into the lid.  It can be used either on its own which is short or it clicks into the base of the lid for more length what ever suits you .  I actually quite like the brush ok sometimes its not suitable for a more thinner line but it will make a nice medium line and is actually quite sturdy.  It washes well too.  For people who do not own alot of brushes they will be delighted with this little edition.  For people who have more than a million eyeliner brushes of all shapes and sizes might find this a waste of time unless they are travelling and dont want to bring alot of brushes.
What amazed me more was the gel liner itself.  Its smooth and very creamy.  The pigmentation is amazing as I said above I got the shade "Underground" which is a black shade.  This black is jet black not grey BLACK which I love.  When it dries it dries matte black again what I love again.  This doesnt even have to be built up for pigmentation literally one swipe does the job I love it.  The liner doesnt dry instantly which give you time to smudge or blend or what ever you want to do with it, you have at least 10 seconds or a little more to so whatever you want before it sets.  When its sets it stays put :)
Overall I am impressed with the Liner I found its lasts more than 8 hours on my eyes.  Its smudge-proof and easy on the eyes.  It doesnt flake but I found that if you layer it too much it will flake.  Its so so easy to apply and need little to no effort to apply.  I did find it does smudge on my water line but my eye does tend to water a little throughout the day.
This Lasts quite a while even though its small as its so pigmented and requires very little for each application.  I have this liner about 4 months and there is still no sign of it drying out any time soon
I highly recommend this liner especially for the top and bottom lash line as what more do you need in a liner unless you are looking for something waterproof :)
Check out MUA site to see the swatches of the other shades :) in which im sure I will be purchasing in the need future ;)
on layer on the skin made with brush supplied :)
So thats it for this review everyone i hope you found this helpful
Have you tried this yet and what is your opinion on it :)
    Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

Rimmel Scandal'eyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner Review

Hey my beauties how are you all doing?
Todays review is about The New Rimmel Scandal'eyes Waterproof eyeliner pencils
These eyeliners are just released and still not available in some countries.  There are 7 shades available according to Rimmels Facebook Page but there was only 3 shades of the 7 available in my local pharmacy.  The 7 shades are:
    Black
    Silver
    Bronze
    Blue
    Brown
    Purple
    Nude
ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner is a fine tipped, crayon type pencil available in Purple, Bronze, Black, Silver and Bright Blue that glides on easily and precisely for a flawlessly beautiful defined line. ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner works great by applying one shade, or combining several shades to create a complete and striking eye look.

Benefits of ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner

    • Ultra Soft
    • Waterproof
    • Sweat proof
    • heat proof

Hmmmmm The question is......Does they do what they say they do !!!!!!!
The Pencils remind me alot of the Avon Supershock Eyeliners in which are my utmost favourite eyeliners to stay on the waterline which led me to ask the question "will it beat my favourite eyeliner"
So as i mentioned earlier i came across these in my local pharmacy and they were on an offer for 3.95 euro each WOWZER so i snatched the 3 without a second thought.  My usual Avon Supershock eyeliner costs me 12 euro most of the time.
So the shades are basically what they are named
The Black is Jet Black which i love and compared to my usually Avon supershock black liner its an exact match in pigmentation.  The Blackest of Black wahoo!!!!
The Bronze is fantastic it has lovely gold shimmer which really stand out but not to the point you are out like a disco ball.
The Purple oh i love it and its matte a great way to make my hazel eyes pop and so handy if you just wanted to add a pop of colour to your every day look :)
As you can see the pencil itself is thick enough to last longer before you have to pair the pencil.  Now for the formula its is amazingly creamy.  You get instant pigmentation and a little goes a long long way.  You also have enough time to smudge this baby before it sets you have at least a good 30 + seconds which is just enough time.  Beautiful !!!!
So now for the wonderful swatches :)
Dont they look Beautiful :) :)
So I know what you are all asking.....Do they actually work on the waterline.......Are they really Waterproof.....Do they smudge.....Do they last all day?????
    YES......YES.....NO......YES
I have even put them to the ultimate Water test for you to see
I ran lukewarm water over these for a good 5 minutes to see if they would even melt a little (part of the sweat test also) and then i put them to the smudge test with my arm still been wet
Not even a budge from the water or the smudge test.  These babies are staying put until you use your makeup remover.  It took a nice bit of scrubbing with a sponge and soap to take these off my arm after but the best thing is that they did not leave any stain lines.  So for ones who hate waterproof makeup because of that reason will like these because they do come off easily with makeup remover.
I can not wait for the other shades to come I especially the "nude" as that will be a perfect shade for the waterline to open up your eyes.
For 4 euro these are well well worth they money and i will surely be stocking up on them they are amazing and everyone should have them in their collection.  Especially for weepy days ;)
    Hot days etc
    Have you tried these yet?
I really hope this review was helpful for you all
    Until Next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

Essence TE Cherry Blossom Girl Review

Well hello there my beauties :)
I hope you are all well.  1st of all can i just take this chance to say WELCOME to my latest new followers/friends thanks so much for clicking that follow button and I really hope you enjoy reading my blog xxxxxxxxxx and thanks so much to my current followers/friends for sticking around you guys are amazing and brilliant and i love you all so much for the comments and kinds words you give me all the time i am blessed to have you all in my life (ok mushy time over :)
As you know already I'm a sucker for Limited Editions and I love the way Essence & Catrice comes out with very regular limited editions.
Its that time again for Essence and they have come out with The Cherry Blossom Girl Edition for Autumn 2012 :)
konnichiwa asian beauty girls! in september 2012,essence whisks you away to the far east with the trend edition “cherry blossom girl”. the color theme of this trend edition unites soft cherry blossom shades with strong red, bright yellow and cool black. the absolute it-piece: elaborately designed paper eyelashes that create a fabulous asia-look with a true wow-effect when combined with expressive eyeliner, intense red lips and softly shimmering skin!
So when this edition arrived in my local pharmacy all i could see what bright shades and beautiful products to select from.  Like i said before i only went for the shades and the items i would use rather than get all and not use half of them but i got at least one or two shades of everything so apart from the shades the products will be the same at least.
    So starting off with
Well I have to admit i have a special place in my heart for the Essence Quattro Eyeshadows.  They are super cheap and are amazingly pigmented not only that they are great for beginners because the shades in the quad all create a brilliant eye look.  There is only one of these available in the Limited edition called 01 Dreaming under a Cherry Tree
    Doesnt it look so pretty.
In this palette obviously there is 4 shades
On the site its says you are getting a red but i dont see any red here
you are getting a nice mix of peaches and oranges and also neutral shades :) :)
These eyeshadows are really nice and creamy i found the lightest shade which is the 2nd from the top a little on the chalky side and is very light.  Apart from that this palette works well and you can build the colours up to what ever strength you desire.
They are not shimmery but do give a lovely semi metallic finish :)
You will need a primer underneath to make this last all day long other wise you will notice the shadows wearing off after 5 hours.  This is not as pigmented as some of the other quattro eyeshadows i have but i still like it :)
Pretty isnt it :)  Awwww i just had to buy this little beauty just look at the shades :) :)
The print of the cherry blossom is stunning see i have a thing for Cherry blossom tree's its my favourite tree in this whole world :) :) Its stunning to look at and if i had acres of land id have a huge walkway it cherry blossoms on each side the whole way down the walk way (oh im sorry i went a bit on the ahem dream land again :)
Your getting 2 stunning shades of peach one dark and one very light almost like a highlight shade :)  This is suppose to create a beautiful natural rosy glow and i have to say it certainly does
The only thing i found with this blush is that it was very sheer to swatch but it is buildable.  When used together the colour is not as pigmented but i tend to go for the darker side for the blush and the lighter side for a highlight :)  I love this :) :)
Lipstick Pencils these come in 2 shades and i decided on getting the 2 as i have to admit i had higher expectations for these than i care to admit :)  I was super excited about trying these in particular .   These are suppose to give a Matte velvet finish and a big must have according to essence.
As you can see the packaging is pretty straight forward its a chubby pencil with a lid. (as i said pretty straight forward lol)
Cherry Cherry Girl is a pretty vibrant coral shade
It's Peach not Cherry is a peach with orange undertones
Awww i was so so disappointed with these 2 which is a pity because they are so creamy, so pigmented and so easy to apply.  Their scent is also quite nice its a very faint vanilla scent which doesnt last too long on the lips.
    So why was i disappointed
Aww from the minute i applied these to my lips i hated them.  The lip product soaked into ever line on my lips.  It looked horrible on my lips (like the way oil hits water) it looked lumpy mucky ewwwwww.  So i thought hmmm maybe i need to exfoliate my lips and maybe apply a lip balm a good 10 minutes before.  Tried that and still no difference.  I even tried applying the lightest coat i could but it just wouldnt sit on my lips.
I did very very best to get a good photo swatch of each on my lips to show you even what the shade is like for each but you will see that the colour even with lip balm under it soaked right into my lines
The minute I had this photo taken i pressed my lips together and the lip product looked like a mess on my lips.  Not a bit impressed i know they only cost less than 2 euro and i wouldnt have minded if they only lasted an hour on my lips but the fact that you cant even apply them right to enjoy them even for an hour is a bit crazy
so marks out of 10 .........a big fat O
Well now you all know i love essence nail polish the fact that they are under 2 euro each they are amazing for the price and have so many shades to choose from.  There are 4 shades to choose from in this Limited Edition.  I only chose 2 as i have so many polishes as it is and these 2 shades called out to me more.
I was actually amazed by these nail polishes in particular.  I mean 2 thin coats and you are done.  The consistency is a little thicker than the permanent range which is brilliant as these polishes are going to last alot longer.
The 2 shades i got was
Cherry Cherry Girl which is a love coral with red undertones very bright and beautiful :)
It's Peach not Cherry:  This is beautiful you are getting a lovely peach with an orangey undertone to it :) I have never owned any shade like this before and I am loving it :)
One piece of advice especially to all of you Essences nail polish lovers.  Only apply light coats with these as it is thicker than the normal polishes from Essence but not hard to apply do not worry :)
Next up is the Cherry Blossom Girl Highlighter Pen which according to Essence gives the area around your eyes the natural radiance of an asian beauty.
It comes in a sleek black plastic twistable pen with a little brush applicator.  Now one thing i noticed is you have to give it a good twist before any product comes out.
The Product itself is actually quite thick so a little of this will go a long long way :) As you can see there is a little tint of pink and quite a bit of shimmer on it.  It blends out beautifully and feels really soft on the skin.
I like to use this on top of my cheekbones, maybe a little under the brow and maybe a little on the inner corner or my eyes its very pretty and I'm glad I have it in my collection :)
For less than 3 euro its definitely worth buying and trying
If you are not one who likes shimmer on your face maybe leave this out but its not the type of shimmer that makes you look like a disco ball :)
Cherry Blossom Girl 2 in 1 Eyeliner comes in 2 shades
01 Big in Japan (Pictured above)
02 My little Kimono  (which is a dark brown)
Ok i was quite excited to try this out as i did have a look at the felt tips before i bought it and they looked promising already.
The thin part looked very skinny perfect for anyone who needs and extra hand to get their line right :) This is also perfect for starting of your line on the inner 3rd of your eye
The thicker side is great for finishing off the line on the outter corner of the eye or if you are one who likes a good thick line this is the part for you.  You can still achieve a thin like with the thick part also which is an extra bonus
This black is a good dark black and looks amazing.  Its a semi-permanent formula.  I found even after taking my makeup off i could still see it very faintly on my eyes.  This liner will be perfect for nights out or long days of makeup wearing :)
After alot of scrubbing with body wash and makeup remover you can still see the very faint lines on the arm.  :)

So thats it everyone thats what I got from the Cherry Blossom Collection.  Now i do know there is two other items i did not purchase from this collection
1 been the Shimmering body powder which did look lovely but i would not used as i have enough at home and 2 the eyelashes they are paper lashes and something i probably would not end up using.
Overall i am pleased with this Limited Edition If i have to choose with what I am most happy with it would have to be the blush and the eyeliner.
Have you tried any of these yet :)
    Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

I love love love hearing from you all :) I make it my duty to read each and every one of you comments and every time i get a comment from you it highlights my day thanks so so much to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
