Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser

Hello my beauties I hope you are all well :) :)
I know im very late with this post as this little beauty is out a while now but to be honest I totally took this product for granted again and basically forgot to blog about it until this morning as I was using it on my normal quick shower quickly getting dressed routine and thought to myself "Gosh I love this product" Then it dawned on me that I have never shared this with you all
We have our lazy days and we also have our days where we are so busy we tend to neglect the important things like protecting our skin when getting ready or feeding our skin moisture when running out the door.  I have my favourite moisturisers for when I jump out of the shower on a non busy day and I also have my favourites for prepping my skin for Tanning.  I now have a favourite for those busy and lazy days anything quick and that works for me marks my top of the list anyday

I am a massive fan of Nivea for a long time now as you will see on my blog that I have reviewed alot of their products especially facial products.  I love how gentle their products are to the skin and their scent is amazing.
Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser Has just won many awards including An Award on the Irish Tatler Magazine Beauty Awards 2014/2015
Nivea Claim:  Discover this easy way to moisturse: This Body Moisturiser is designed to be used in the shower straight after your  normal cleanser. The wet skin quickly absorbs the soothing formula with sea minerals.
Result: A silky, soft skin feeling when stepping out of the shower
I tend to reach for this on my lazy days and on my in the hurry days when I just have time for a quick shower and run and I do suffer with dry skin especially on my legs and arms.  I literally wash myself like normal Apply this all over my body and rinse off.  I then dab my skin dry and feel beautifully moisturiser and smelling yummy.  My skin feels like silk and very very smooth I love it.  The scent lingers all day long and throughout the day I still feel like my skin is moisturised.
I also find I reach for this when I all of a sudden need to prep my skin for tanning.  Those days where you get an invite to go somewhere and you are thinking "Oh no I havent prepped my skin for tanning"  You know the deal with prepping your skin you have to ex foliated and moisturise but also have no moisturiser and also nothing on your skin before you tan.  Well I just hate having showers and not moisturising after as my legs are very flaky so I use this as I have to rinse off anyway so it gives me that moisturised feeling just before tanning.  Does it interfere or mess up my tan ??? Not one bit :) I love it :) :)

It does feel a little oily when you apply this in the shower but once you rinse it off all you feel is smoothness and softness and relief after your nice hot shower.  I have went through 3 bottles of this beauty so far and still love it.  I even use this on my children and they love smelling it on their skin.  There are 2 different types you can get of this In Shower Body Moisturiser one for normal skin (which is in a white bottle) and this one for dry skin.  The price range is about €4 euro for a 250ml bottle which is an amazing price :) :)
If you have super super dry skin you might want to add a little extra of your own moisturiser to your skin after using this as you might find it will not be moisturising enough throughout the day but for everyone else this will be right up your street especially for those who want a simple life haha

In all as you can guess I love this product and it has become part of my busy and lazy shower days routine.  It has also become part of my children's shower routine too as they always ask for some of mammy's blue bottle cream ( as they call it)  I highly recommend this to you all.  Have you tried this yet?  What's your thoughts on it :)
You can purchase this in any supermarket who sells it and any pharmacy also available in Boots :) :)
I really hope you enjoyed this review and until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

I love love love hearing from you all :) I make it my duty to read each and every one of you comments and every time i get a comment from you it highlights my day thanks so so much to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My Empties #2

Hello My Beauties How are you all today?
I decided to do another Empties Post, alot of you liked the last one I did so I have been stashing my empties especially for you :) :)
Let me tell you its great to finally throw them into the bin lol
I love these sort of posts and videos because you surely get a full insight to how the blogger/youtubers got on with the products and see if they would repurchase them again :)
So without further ado I shall start on mine :)

Starting from the left
Lancomes Softening Hydrating Toner:  I got 2 very decent sampled sized bottle of this product from the Lancome Event I went to.  I was super excited to try this out partly because Its not often I get the chance to try something from a high end brand like Lancome plus I wanted to see just why it costs so much.  To be honest I don't see why this product costs as much as it Smells good, Refreshes the skin like it claims and also is alcohol free I felt it didnt do anything different to what a drugstore toner did for me.  Dont get me wrong I loved using it but to be honest I would not go out there and pay around €30 for a toner not on your nelly :) :)

Elemis Softly Softly Daily Moisturiser:  I got this in one of my glossyboxes and was super excited to try it out.  If I am not mistaking this Full Sized costs about £20 to buy which again is high end in my eyes.  I have also heard that "Freshskin" range by Elemis is for teens and twenty year old's .  I didnt find any fault with this product it did hydrate my skin well and I found I used very little to cover my face and neck.  This sample lasted me for quite some time.  The scent from this moisturiser is mild and smells a little like almonds I actually liked it alot.  Would I go out and buy it again hmmmm no to be honest It didnt do anything different to what some drugstore moisturisers did to my face and for £20 per bottle I was expecting a little more from it

St Ives Daily Microdermabrasion:  I absolutely love love love this product its one of my favourite daily defoliators out there.  I mean this is amazing it smells amazing it feels amazing and the out come is amazing my skin feels smooth and soft and ready for the day :)  You can purchase this from boots and costs as little as €6.69 for 125ml I will surely be giving this a separate review soon :) :) Love it

Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 makeup-remover:  (still a favourite ) This is a favourite of mine for sure and for a long time.  Its so so affordable in fact it only sets me back about 3 to 4 euro.  This contains 2 layers the top layer (blue) is the eye makeup remover the bottom layer is suppose to be for the face.  It contains no perfume or alcohol.  The reason I love this so much is that its absolutely amazing to take of my eye makeup literally one swipe and bam gone.  I find If i use the blue layer before shaking it for the rest of my face the blue layer is more effective for the most stubborn waterproof mascaras and liners.  The only fault........ its feels quite oily and I dont particularly like oily products on my face.  The fact it does such a great job, its affordable and its brilliant even for anyone with sensitive skin I can tolerate a little oiliness.

Nivea Refreshing Toner:   This has to be the most affordable toner I have tried and loved.  This feels amazing against the skin and I find no stingy feeling while using it.  Its that gentle on the skin I have even used this around the eye area and found it had no effect on me.  I feel refreshed and I find it works great taking whatever dirt and grime thats left on my face.  It smells amazing too :) :) I will certainly be repurchasing :)

Docteur Renaud Raspberry Soft Cream Review:  I received this moisturiser in my glossybox (in which I do not get anymore)  I think this was a limited edition moisturiser For 50mls of moisturiser this would set you back a whopping £25 which is quite steep to be honest especially for just an everyday moisturiser.  Yes it smells amazing and feels really nice against the skin leaving you hydrated for the day but with that price I was expecting more even spf or something I was certainly not going to go out of my way to repurchase.  If it was cheaper I would but I think the price is a bit much

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes:  I know alot of people are against face wipes but to be honest in my opinion if you find the right facial wipes you are doing no harm to your skin I have been using them for years.  These wipes were recommended to me because I was going through a little bit of a rough time with my face and using my normal face wipes were irritating it more so I gave these a try and loved them.  They are ideal for anyone with sensitive skin and did not feel one bit scratchy which I love.  There is no oils, no alcohol, no perfume and no colouring in these but what is in them is  Pro-Votamin B5 which actively restores, softens and smoothes.  They are even gentle on the eyes.  I will be repurchasing these again for sure :)

Lush Vanilla See-Lite Body Lotion:  Oh dont even get me started on this little beauty.  Ladies if you are a vanilla scent fan or even if you are not you will love this body lotion.  Oh my goodness I got this sample sized (as big as it is) in one of their boxes and loved it from day one so much so I went back and bought the full sized bottle.  This smells out of this world even when I apply this all over people can smell the vanilla all the way downstairs.  Plus the scent lingers literally all day long on me.  My skin feels smooth and soft and leaves a beautiful healthy glow on there too.  I loved this all over the summer as it made my tan look amazing.  I highly recommend this to everyone you will love it :)

Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan:  I absolutely love this tan Check out my blog post on it to see what difference this makes.  I love how natural it makes me look and lasts up to 5 days without having to worry about patches etc.  Its amazing and for under €8 its well worth it.  Marissa Carter has done an amazing job with this product for sure and she has lots more to try out too I cant wait to try her Moisturiser which is coming out very very soon.  Plus Marissa made an announcement that Cocoa Brown will be available to purchase on all Aer Lingus flights from Dec 1st!  Happy days :)

Batiste Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:  Wow I love this product.  It has been my saviour in more ways than one.  Been a busy mum and blogger its sometimes hard to get the time to wash my hair everyday.  To be honest I wash my hair only 3 times a week because my hair lasts that long before looking in any way greasy but some days I do find I need a little pick me up so I spray a little of this in and it livens up my hair more than it does if i washed it.  Honestly the volume that I get from this is amazing and my hair looks amazing plus it smells booti-ful :) I love it

Elizabeth Ardens 5th Avenue Perfume:  This has been a favourite for many years.  I have been through many bottles of this beautiful perfume and I really hope it never goes off market.  I like to wear this scent in the winter time I dont know why but I always seem to reach for it more around that time.  The perfume has a floral scent with a spicy edge to it but its not over powering.  I think it will always be one of my favourites once you buy a bottle of it and finish it, you will find you will buy another :)

2 of my favourite foundations ever !!!!
NYX HD Studio Photogenic Foundation:  I have a review done about this foundation already which you can check out here but this foundation is amazing full stop I find it brilliant for coverage for lasting powder for photos for everything.  It gives medium coverage and feels very lightweight.  My skin looks flawless and you use very little to cover the entire face.  The only fault I find is you have to purchase it online which means finding your perfect match can be hard but if you check out as many reviews as you can you will surely end up finding your match just make sure you do not go by the shades the website gives you as it will be wrong.  Love it !!!!!!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation:  Do you know what?? The beauty blogger that I am im only realising I have never done a blog post on this tut tut tut shame on me If you would like me to review this let me know :)  This is another long time favourite of mine.  Sineady Cady from themakechair and Lisa Eldridge are also fans of this foundation.  Seeing as I am around NC20-25 I find number 52 a perfect match for me.  The formula is very light and takes very little effort to apply.  I like to use a stippling brush like my Favourite foundation brush the Blank Canvas Cosmetics F20 Brush.  The finish is light to medium coverage and leaves my skin looking flawless.  I just love how natural it makes my skin look without giving away the fact I am wearing a foundation I love it !!!!!  The one thing I will have to say is that I would love if they would bring out more shades as there is only 5 shades to choose from but this is a perfect foundation for anyone with pale skin

Mally Volumising Mascara:  I have to say I fell into the you-tube hype on this mascara.  After hearing Itsjudystime and Emily Noels raving reviews about this I just had to see what the hype was about.  I did a full review on this mascara in which you can check out here .  I loved it but to be honest I found it dried out too quick And paying £17.50 per mascara is way too much for it to dry out after 2 months.

MUA Extreme Volume Mascara:  I have already reviewed this mascara and included photos of course but I just have to say for a £2 mascara this works pretty darn well !!! I was well impressed with the formula, with its performance and most of all with the wand.  For a super affordable product this is definitely worth a try.  I have even bought back ups of this I love it :)

Maxfactor 2000 Calorie Mascara:  There was one day I was reading through Fluff & Flipperies blog and Emma had a post up about Maxfactors Mascara's and the fact that they are 20 years old I thought that was amazing.  I was curious to find out what the formula was like especially what it was like 20 years ago.  So I searched online to see if I could get my hands on it.  I finally found it on Fragrance Direct for £4.50.  I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this.  The formula is not too wet, its jet black and also easy to apply what i love is the brush its curved and grabs every lash.  The finish result is nice full curled lashes.  It wouldnt be the type of lashes for night time but its certainly a during the day mascara :)

Avon SuperShock Mascara:  I absolutely love love love this mascara.  This has always been a favourite of mine for as long as I can remember.  Its amazing the brush is brilliant it grabs every lash, the formula is amazing its not too wet or dry its just right.  The finish is what you call perfect I have fuller longer lashes and it lasts until i take it off.  Its just such a pity Ireland do not have Avon anymore I miss it so so much :(

Before i begin my apologies for this been so grubby but i suppose thats what happens with brow gels with clear packaging :(
e.l.f Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Mascara:  I have loved this product since I first tried it 2 years ago.  For a £1.50 products this holds my brows into place literally all day long.  I love it.  You have one side for brows and one side for lashes.  I use both sides for my brows to make the product last longer :) :) I highly recommend you all to try it out if you havent already :)

Mac Eyebrow Pencil in Lingering:  I won this in a competition.  I have to admit I used it every single day I used it.  It was the perfect shade for my brows and the finish was as natural as you could get it.  I never had to set it and it lasted all day long without smudging one little bit.  I nearly cried when I ran out of this as I loved it that much but to be honest I cant bring myself to repurchase because of the price of it and the fact you only get 0.09gs of product for it.  There are plenty of dupes for this brow pencil out there that is a fraction of the price.

Wow Finally I am finished haha I hope I didnt bore you with this extra long post :)  Is there anything in this bunch that is your favourites or that isnt?  Let me know what are your thoughts on these :)
Until next time

E45 Intense Recovery Moisture Control Lotion

Hello my beauties I hope you are all well Ok get ready for a little bit of a long intro or should i say a mini story :)
Wow Our weather has surely made a drastic change.  From been in danger of everywhere been in drought to thunder storms and extreme heavy rain I am truly hoping this is not the end of our summer.  :(  The heat however is still here with temperatures reaching to 26 degrees so its heavy and clammy but without the sunshine.  On the plus note at least our skin is getting a break from extreme sun exposure which I have to admit even I last week was been extra careful with protecting my skin even more as I felt my skin had been through enough.
One of the reasons was that my skin felt so so thirsty so much so that it was beginning to peel.  Unfortunately there was a day where I was away for the day and was in the heat and sun all day long and even though I wore protection it was so hot even the suncream could not protect my skin enough.  The place I was at had no shading whatsoever.
My skin felt the brunt of it and was extra flaky and extra dry which left me very worried as you know yourself when you build up a nice tan its nice to maintain it and enjoy it but when I began to flake I was worried the tan would become patchy which it did start showing signs of.  I was applying Aloe Vera but to be honest it was not keeping me moisturised.  My usual body moisturiser was not even working for me at this time.  So I had to go on the hunt.
I tried a few moisturisers that I did love in the past and that did work for my occasional dry skin but even they were not keeping my skin moist for the day.  I actually thought nothing was going to work unless I reapply the moisturisers throughout the day which is a pain.  That was until I bought The E45 Intense Recovery Moisture Control Lotion in my local supermarket.
This bottle was on offer for under €5 and I thought hey sure I might as well try it out as E45 has got a good name :)
I have to admit I always bypass E45 products probably because Its been out like forever and to be honest I didnt think it would be as good as some modern product we have these days.
You are a Witness to this statement I shall be sharing with you now That " I Nina was 100% wrong"
I have been using this product just over a week now and I have already noticed a huge difference in my skin I was amazed after day 2 even.  This lotion is amazing and does exactly what it says on the bottle.
First of all the lotion is very very light when first squeezed out of the bottle
It doesnt feel thick or sticky in any way and when evened out looks more water based than oily.  Which I love.  When I look for a moisturiser I prefer it to soak into my skin instead of leaving an oily residue in which this lotion does exactly what I want.  It spreads out evenly without any effort but I have to say a little goes a long way.  This little bit you see on my hand in the photo did the whole top of my hand and up my arm all the way to the elbow.
E45 claims that the Intense Recovery Moisture Control Lotion helps to lock in moisture which very dry skin lacks
and over the period of two weeks rebalances the skin so it not only appears healthier
but also feels softer and smoother too
I have to say now even after a week my skin feels as smooth as a baby's skin feels and as for the flakiness well lets just say I am not worrying about it anymore.  I can not believe how quick this lotion has worked and how soft my skin feels.  The lotion instantly soaks into my skin which means no waiting around for it to dry and the moisture lasts all day long.  Not only does it do its job right, it does better by making my skin glow.  For the first few day I could help but admire my healthy glowing looking skin and the added bonus of having a nice tan to match with it.  Thanks to E45 Intense Recovery Moisture Control Lotion I can flaunt my nice tan off plus look healthy and moisturised I give this lotion and big thumbs up for sure.  I have even started using this on my little ones as they too need a little extra moisture on their skins with this weather.  I am especially going to love this lotion in the winter when the weather gets colder and we are using heat in the house again.  My mind feels at ease knowing I have this lotion to run to when I feel the brunt of the cold weather.
You can purchase this lotion at any supermarket and also purchase it from Boots in the UK or Boots in Ireland .
Have you tried this Lotion yet
Until Next Time

Loreal Triple Active Glow Moisturiser

Hey my beauties how are you all :)  I hope you are all not too disappointed with the dramatic weather change we are having after all with Some counties in Ireland close to drought its no harm to see a week of rain to get back into track as long as the good weather comes back pleeeeeezzzzzz :)
Anyway todays review is on a moisturiser I have been using for the past month.  I ran out of my last moisturiser so I decided one day to try out a different one.  I have never tried any of Loreals face products and when I seen this one was on offer at my local supermarket I snatched it :) :)  They are available on the Cara Pharmacy Website for €7.49.  They are also available on the Look Fantastic Website.
For a day time moisturiser I like to have a cream that is lightweight, non sticky, not heavy, gives me a nice shine healthy glow, moisture for the full day and also protection would be an added bonus.  So the question is Did or Is Loreal Triple Active Glow doing all of the above for me ??? Read on to find out more :)
The packaging of this moisturiser is impressive for the price I have to say even though packaging is not a great deal to me but it is nice to get decent enough packaging when you are purchasing something.  I like the box in which the moisturiser comes in.  The moisturiser comes in a squeezy tube which I also love as its more hygienic that way.
Loreal says Triple Active Glow it's a radiance boosting moisturiser enriched with complexion enhancing pigments to give you a natural glow and a unified looking skin tone.
Along with this promise they also promise this product will give you 48hrs of Hydration,  Even out your skin and also brighten your complexion which is alot of promise for just one product.  hmmmmmmmmmmmm
The moisturiser itself is truly peachy I was a little bit scared at first to be honest as i thought it would be like a BB Cream and make me look orangey but i was wrong thank goodness
The moisturise itself is very very light and more water based than oil based A+ to that one :)
I did notice that a small amount of this goes a long way literally the amount on my hand in the photo does your whole face.  The scent is beautiful its not overpowering and smells very fresh.  This is so easy to apply and takes little effort to blend out and yes it blends out to nothing :)
At first I thought that it didnt look any different to a normal moisturiser which was a little disappointing
But after 5 minutes I actually noticed my skin looked more even.  Looked more radiant and moist.  I have pigmentation on my forehead and I noticed that it looked less noticeable when I wore this moisturiser.  It didnt cover it completely but it certainly made some difference.   I instantly feel in love and not only that with the good weather spell and a little colour on my face this moisturiser really highlights my lovely tan and I feel I can get away with not wearing a BB Cream or tinted moisturiser I can actually wear this on its own.  The glow on my face is amazing so much so I have been complimented a few times on how fresh and dewy I look.  I have found this keeps me moist from morning to night without a doubt and that's what I wanted.  I am loving that there is SPF 15 in this as its perfect for all year round for protection from all the nasties that effect your face :) especially UV rays.
I have been wearing this moisturiser everyday since I bought it and loving it.
This definitely gets a thumbs up from me for sure :) :) I especially love wearing this under my make-up as it gives my foundation a beautiful dewy finish.  Another great thing about this is that its suitable for every skin type and every skin tone :) :)
Have you tried this moisturiser yet?
What is your go to day time moisturiser
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

Garnier Moisture Match Wake Me Up for Dull skin

garnier-moisture-match-new-C9094
Hey my beauties how are you all doing today :)
My review of the day is on the New Garnier Moisture Match Moisturiser which were release early this year :)
Now to be honest When i seen these displayed in my local pharmacy I wanted to buy all of them because of their cute and colourful packaging but to be honest that would be a waste of time as they would not all be suitable for my skin type.
Talking about skin types how many of you out there actually KNOW YOUR OWN SKIN TYPE???
I can be sure that most of you out there do not actually know well i didnt even know up until a few years back and to be honest I along with alot of you out there wasnt exactly strict on the whole moisturise twice a day routine.
I really only started properly looking after my face when I hit 25 because to be honest in my teens and early 20's I was carefree and thought awww what do I need to be using SPF or using eye creams for sure im young.  Well let me tell you know since doing alot of research and listening to alot of people and their experiences I am now teaching my 11 year old that she too needs to look after her skin I have shared with her what i have learned and the results to how your skin will look if you do not look after it and let me tell you now she too has a routine even at 11 and I dont even have to remind her to do so.
My point is YOUR ARE NEVER TOO YOUNG TO START TAKING GOOD CARE OF YOUR SKIN THROUGH HEALTH AND THROUGH THE RIGHT PRODUCTS YOUR USE!!!!!
To be honest since i started been strict with myself i have noticed a change in a good way to my skin and I love it !!!!
Choosing a moisturiser can be hard especially when your skin has certain requirement and this is where Garnier has made it easier by creating 5 different moisturisers for 5 different and more popular skin types
They have made it so so easy for everyone
Shine be gone - is literally for those of you out there who suffer with oily skin
Start AFresh - is for anyone who has normal to dry skin
Protect & Glow - I think everyone should have this and i know I will surely be getting this the next time I am in my pharmacy This has SPF 20 (you should always wear SPF even in the Winter month literally all year round as your skin needs protection from everything)
Goodbye Dry - For dry to very dry skin This too I shall be getting as sometimes my skin can suffer with very dry spells
Wake Me up - For people who just want that extra glow to their skin or find their skin dull
So the one I choose was ................
I am quite happy with my normal moisturiser but there is days I look at my face and realise it need something else it needs an extra oomph.
Each moisturiser costs about 9-10 euro each I got this at its releasing price of 6 euro
you are getting 50mls of product which is a nice amount of product for the price :)
At first I was expecting this to be a cream type moisturiser but in fact it comes in a gel form.
The gel with sort of water based and what I also noticed about the gel is that it has tiny little particles in it which look like glitter (but do not worry its not glitter and you do not notice it when you apply to your face)  I presume the particles is what helps make your skin look revitalised
I have to say one thing you only need a small amount of this to do your whole face and neck.  Even this amount in the photo is way too much.  The gel feels thick but not too thick.  It also feels water based not oily which i love.  The scent is just gorgeous I love the scent of it as its very refreshing.  Some people might not like the strong scent of it but I find it beautiful.
The gel feels really really refreshing on the skin it also feels very cooling which i love especially after ex foliating.
Does it make my skin look Revitalised   It sure does my skin looks and feels like i have just went for some pampering in a spa that's the truth.  It looks fresh, clean and has a beautiful glow that lasts a long long time.  I love using this on my no make-up days and people have actually said to me wow your skin is glowing.  I have also used this under my foundation and it helps give my foundation a dewy finish.  When you do apply it at first it feels like you have applied a mask which means you automatically feel like your face is protected but that mask like feeling doesn't last too long.
I love using this on days I have barely had any sleep because with kiddies you lose out on a load of sleep.  If you are a busy mum this product will be well suitable for you :) for sure :)
This will also be great in the summer when you need that refreshing gel on the hot (well not so hot in Ireland) weather
I will surely be going back to buy the other moisturisers i want to try from this range so watch out for more reviews :)
Have you tried any of the Garnier Moisture Match Range ?
Until next Time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter
