NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils Review

Hello my beauties How are you all doing today?  How did your Halloween go?
Ours went brilliantly the twins had a ball and loved the whole first time out in the dark, fireworks, fire and of course trick or treat :) They were a little frightened of the loud bangers but soon forgot all about that once they were able to feast on some of their goodies hehehe
So today I am showing you my little collection of the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils.  I am sure at this stage you all know what they are as they have been out for some time and have been hyped about alot over You Tube and Blogs but here is my view and swatches on these.
A radiant eye liner that also doubles as an eye shadow. Made with a blend of mineral oil and powder, our creamy Jumbo Eye Pencils glide on effortlessly—no pulling, tugging or fading—and come in a rainbow of vivid hues. Some call her chubby. We say voluptuous. Available in 28 shades.
Now what surprises me more is the fact that i have only got 6 out of the 28 shades lol  but i have to say the shade i do have i am very happy with and use quite often as i see it there is no point in having alot of shades and not using half of them :) but there are more shades on the site that have caught my eye and i will more than likely purchase them and do an update for you all :)
So i will go ahead and show you all the shades and talk a little more about them :)
Black Bean:  This is a very popular shade of course :) Its a jet back shade with no shimmer This shade is perfect as a base for the dark smokey eye literally one swipe of this gives us an amazing amount of product and and pay off this is extremely creamy
Next up is
Milk:  Another favourite shade in the beauty world as its a matte white shade perfect for bright coloured eyeshadow it help intensify them amazingly.  This too is very creamy and very pigmented a little harder to blend than black bean but perhaps that is because it is a brighter shade.  I use this on my water line sometimes to brighten me up a bit and it lasts a good 5 hours before fading.
Next up
Cottage Cheese:  This is another popular shade in the beauty industry.  This is a shimmer frosty white shade.  It can be used as a highlight or as a base.  I love using this as a base and placing my matte eyeshadows on top Cottage Cheese surely jazzes them up :) As a high light this works amazingly on the inner corners of my eyes or under the brow I love it :)
next is
French Fries:  This is on the shimmery side.  This certainly looks nothing like what it shows on the pictures on the site.  This is a lovely bronzy brown with gold shimmer.  This gives a metallic y looking payoff :) perfect for jazzing up your matte eyeshadows :)
Next is
Yogurt:  This is a fantastic highlight shade :) Its a lovely metallic champagne with silvery shimmer.  I use this on the inner corners if my eyes.  This works well on its own n for a "non makeup day" Its makes your eyes look wide awake.
And Lastly
Purple Velvet:  Well you know already i love this shade hehe.  This is a cool toned plum rather than purple even though this shade is stunning its hugely pigmented a little harder to blend as it seems a little more oily but works fantastic as a base love it :)
All swatches were taken in natural light and with no primer underneath
Over all I really like these I think they make a great base to intensify your eyeshadows.  I have a few palettes here that are not great in pigmentation but using these as a base really helps bring out the shades.
I love how creamy and soft they are just one swipe and you have instant colour.  They dont feel too wet or sticky just creamy, creamy enough for you to set with whatever eyeshadows you want to apply over them.  Now to be honest there is a couple of not so good things to tells you and that would be
(1.  They crease without a doubt so if you are applying these i would recommend using a primer first please don't plan on wearing these on their own because within an hour you will notice them creasing this is why i have been telling you they work better as bases because you will be setting a cream with powder aka eye-shadow.
(2.  If you suffer with very oily lids you will find these will crease even with a primer But you can work at this you can apply these very lightly and then you will find they will last longer
I especially find these brilliant for pigments if you are not used to using pigments and end up with alot of fallout all over your face lol I'm sure all of you have been there well using these great pencils before packing on the pigments works brilliantly and creates less fall out for us :)
Over all I think they are brilliant value and a great way to experiment with different looks and especially brilliant for intensifying your eyeshadows :)
