Soap & Glory 3 in 1 Daily Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash

Hello beauties I hope you are all well :) 

Been a beauty guru and walking into Boots to get 1 item you have to get can be very difficult all the time especially when you see new beauty and makeup products up on the top shelves :)  All Beauty gurus will be nodding as they read I KNOW IT :)   Well thats what happened to me the last time I walked into Boots a few weeks ago :)  I seen nothing but new products from different companies been launched and I was in heaven :) 

The first thing I noticed was this product.  The Soap & Glory 3 in 1 Daily Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash 

The First thing that attracted to this product of course has to be the packaging :)  Just look at it I love Soap & Glory for making both packaging and products amazing without been hard on the pocket :) 

Soap & Glory State:

Face Soap And Clarity is a 3-in-1 daily face wash with ultra-soft scrub-beads, plus vitamins, amino acids and Soap & Glory’s exclusive SUPERFRUIT YUZU complex. It cleans and purifies skin, effortlessly removes make-up, and gently exfoliates. In short, it’s one killer cleanser! 

• SUPERFRUIT YUZU - a skin energising, toning and brightening antioxidant complex pressed from natural Chinese citrus fruits
• a super-tasking VITAMIN AND AMINO ACIDS - to help refresh improve radiance and appearance of blemishes
• GLYCERIN - to help skin feel soft and supple
• gentle polishing MICROBEADS - to exfoliate and resurface the skin

I dont have to say much about the packaging as you can see Soap & Glory never fails with that department what I love is clear bottle and the fact you can see the product through the clear plastic bottle.  It looks so so pretty.  Another thing I love is the fact you get a squeezy bottle which means you can dispense just the right amount of product you want without dispensing too much :)  

The product itself is the main question in this review of course and the first thing I can cover about it is its beautiful scent :)  Oh my goodness I have spend ages trying to pinpoint what exactly this smells like.  All I can tell you is that it smells slightly fruity slightly sweet and has that slight medicated scent you find in the more expensive cleansers out there.  Altogether it smells devine and makes washing your face an absolute pleasure 

The cleanser itself is a sort of clear blue thin gel like consistency which has little soft pink beads mixed through.  You can smell the aroma the moment you pour this beauty out onto your hand.  

You only need a little over a pea sized amount each time you use this.  Simply dampen your face place a pea sized amount onto clean hands and massage into your face.  The gel with turn into a nice bubbly soft foam and you can rarely feel the beads are you wash your face.  I like to take at least a minute of massage before I  rinse off with warm water.  I do have to warn you not to let this near your eyes as it will sting really bad and you will be at risk of getting a bead or two in the eyes if you do. 
When you are finished rinsing pat your skin dry.  
I love how fresh clean and soft my skin feels after using this.  I face smells fresh and sweet and ready for the day ahead.
I feel this is the perfect mild cleansing face wash which also very mildly exfoliates for anyone with any skin type.  Its so easy to use and because the beads are no at all rough on your skin and only mildly ex-foliates your skin you can use this twice everyday :) 

My face has been extremely dry late and I have found that this face wash doesn't dry my skin out any-more which is perfect :) :) 
I will have to say that this will remove whatever make-up you have left on your face after you take your make-up off but will not remove heavy make-up :) 

Over all I would repurchase this again as I adore the scent and the fact that this is gentle on my skin but still cleans my face well :)  Not only that but I think the price of €8 is brilliant for 350mls of product.  Boots are having an offer on this at the moment so if you want to try it for a cheaper price you can get it now :)   Its gentle enough for my teen daughter and does not aggravate her acne  :)

Soap & Glory Fast & Thick Super Volume Mascara Review

Hello my beauties :) 

I hope you are all well :) 

Todays post is on a mascara I have had for a couple of months now and have been really enjoying alot lately :) 

Its the Soap & Glory Fast & Thick Super Volume Mascara :) 

I have to admit I havent seen too many reviews about this mascara or have heard too many things about it which is one thing I thought would be a bad thing.  I know Soap & Glory is very popular for their skincare products but for makeup I have not seen as many reviews :)  but that has never stopped me trying anything new before and it certainly will not in the future :) 

Soap & Glory state that This super volume mascara creates amazingly, longer, fuller, fabulous lashes. Featuring Superfill False Lash Fillers, Shine Amplifiers, No flake 24  technology and super-fine no-clumps natural wax film formers. *While we don’t feel it’s ladylike to brag, we’re feeling particularly bullish about our mascara. (And hope after trying it you’ll agree that it’s absolutely marvelous.)

This Mascara costs €13.50 for 10mls of product :) 

The packaging for the price is actually quite plain (not that its important).  I like the packaging to be honest as its simple but girlie all at the same time.  The nice big pink bold writing makes the tube look more fun.  What's more important to me is A) the Wand and B) the performance of the mascara :)  Which I am sure all of you are the same :) 

Now for the wand part 

The brush is a nicely sized brush.  Its not too big or its not too small :)  I like the shape of it too as the smaller end is great for reach the inner and outer corner lashes perfectly without making a mess :) :) 

The bristles are small enough to catch every lash aswell as cover them with a nice amount of product :) 

The one thing I have to say I noticed when I first bought this is that I actually didnt like the mascara at first !!!!!  The formula was too wet for me and the crush was picking up way too much product.  I would end up applying way too much to my lashes and waited what seemed like forever for my lashes to dry without transferring.  I would definately say that I waited a good 3 weeks before using this again.  When I did I was amazed with how different my lashes looked from the first time I used this :)   The formula of the mascara had a chance to dry out a little and it was a dream to apply to my lashes :) 

I lashes looked longer instantly.  They did look fuller but not as full as I like them which is a person preference of mine of course :) 

As for blackness of the formula........ Well my lashes looked super black even from the first coat :)  Take a look :) (click on the photo for a closer look :) 

Lasting power is brilliant also.  My lashes didnt drop once throughout the day nor did I experience flakiness which is one thing we all dread when it comes to trying out new mascaras.  

Overall this mascara is definaelty worth trying out but if you are like me and like your formula in between dry and wet you will have to use this a few time before seeing its potential :)  Also if you are like me and like very full looking lashes this is not for you.  In the picture above i have 3 coats of the  mascara on me but I think if you applied more coats you will end up with very clumpy spider legged lashes.   I do think after 2 coats its perfect for everyday wear.   It doesnt state that this mascara is waterproof but I can safely say its went through my tears and I have also been caught in rain while wearing this and I experienced no smudging 

Is it worth €13 ???

No in my opinion its not worth the full price but if there is an offer going on it grab it as its not the worst mascara I have tried and it is great for everyday wear :)

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter

Hey Beauties :) I hope you are all well :) 

Having dry skin can be an absolute pain sometimes.  Especially on my legs.  Lately my skin has been giving me the absolute nightmare been so so dry and flaky I have even noticed at time I get spots of my psoriouses back.  I mean not tiny spots of it big spots.  Its sort of embarassing at times because a spot or two could appear on my legs or on my arms and only recently I found one near my under arm which is awkward.  Its all due to my skin been parched and wanting extra moisture.  With the good weather coming soon I want my skin too look its best when I do start wearing summer clothes 

Thats when I came across Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter :) 

What caught my eye more is that it states on the tube "Very Dry Skin Formula" 

Another great thing that caught my eye was the 2 main ingredients in this body butter 

A) Shea Butter:  which is amazing for moisturising the skin it also has Vitamin A which is beneficial for skin conditions such as wrinkles Eczema and dermatitis.

B) Aloe Vera:  Is a great healing property :) I always use Aloe Vera Gel on sunburn as its the only thing that cools it down and relieves it.  Aloe vera is also great for healing skin conditions such as Eczema, Skin Ulcers, Psoriasis etc.   

What also attracted me was the packaging to be honest all Soap & Glory packaging is super and so so girly 

Soap & Glory Claim:  Butter yourself up: After showering or bathing, smooth a generous handful of Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter 300ml onto damp skin and massage gently until it sinks in.  Then relax and take in the wonderful aroma's of leafy greens, bergamot and mandarin, with a floral and fruity middle note that makes your nose tingle a little, followed by soft, sexy, musk, oakmoss, amber and woody notes.

To be honest I thought this was going to be too good to be true.  As the butter looks thick in the tub but doesnt feel thick when you lather it into your skin.  

Oh my word was I wrong 

I normally dry my skin first my dabbing it dry with my towel.  Letting my skin settle and then apply this body butter onto my skin.  The body butter soaks into my skin almost straight away without having to wait for ages for it to dry :)  

At first i thought my skin was still damp from the butter before I got dress as it felt that way but when I touched to see was the butter still damp it wasnt my skin just felt extrememly moisturised.  :) :) Whats more is my legs look shiny healthy and actually quite good.  

What I loved more was my Psorisus spots were not flaky and dried out looking they too looked moisturised and after a week of using this every single day my spots were gone !!!!!! Vanished !!!!!

I can not believe how brilliant this butter is.  Without leaving any oily residue you can get dressed into your day time clothing and not feel like their are clinging to you because of your body butter been on your skin ( yes I have been there and to be honest stayed clear of body butters in the morning because of that reason).  

Dont get me started on the scent.  Wow its smells amazing and smells of a lot of different scents.  Where do I start on the scent hmm ok there is a hint of Leafy greens, Bergamont, Musk, Vanilla, Mandarin, oakmoss and amber.  It smells so fruity and floral its amazing and lingers all day long :)  
This is surely one product I will repurchase for my driest skin its amazing.  My skin feels soft moisturised and last a long long time :)  

If you are like me who does suffer with very dry skin especially on the legs or suffer with very dry patches this body butter is the way to go :)  Forr 300mls you are only paying £10.50/€12.29 per tub its well worth its price :)

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub

Hello My beauties I hope you are well :) 

As you may have noticed I am way behind been in the land of Saop & Glory aka I have never tried anything from this brand EVER !!!! I know I know I am so bad :)  I tell you the reason.  To be honest when Soap & Glory first came out I was put off their products by their very strong sweet scent.  Anything like that gives me headache and I vowed I would never buy anything from this brand because of that :)  That was until I read alot of blog posts since then and realise since the brand is out longer their product have expanded and so has their different scents :)   Its taken me about 4 years to finally try out their products and I can safely say I take back what I said.  They have a much milder not so overly sweet scented products :)  I have already tried Soap & Glory's Deep Purifying Hot Cloth Cleanser and really liked it.   So Christmas just gone I received a beautiful christmas gift which gave me the chance to try out a number of Soap & Glory products :) take a look at this beautiful box of goodies :) 

To be honest my skin has been very very dry throughout the winter.  I have found that exfoliating my skin with my usual exfoliator has cause more drying out to my skin than normal.  Dont even get me started on my legs GIRLS seriously its embarrassing just how flaky my legs are after each shower or bath.  I even reduced my exfoliating days to see will that make a different but its been too harsh.  So I have been on the look out for a product that exfoliates my skin but in the gentlest way possible.  I havent had the best of luck finding one that was until I started using this Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub :) 

Soap & Glory’s cult-classic Sugar Crush Body fuses freshly-squeezed sweet lime, sparkling lemons, sweet vanilla musk and almond oil, with sea salt, smashed brown sugar, glycerin and macadamia oils to leave your skin feeling smooth, supple, and sexy. Miraculous on dry legs, elbows (really – all over), it’s energizing, exhilarating, amazing!

The tube is very big.  You are getting 300mls and its filled to the very top :)  You will be paying €11.29 for this which I think is a pretty great deal.  At the moment Boots is doing a 3 for 2 deal on Soap & Glory so Its the best time to grab this and try it out for yourself.  

I love the packaging.  Its very girly and cute :)  The moment you set eyes on it you want a whole collection of Soap & Glory products to fill up the bathroom :) :) You might not impressed the other half by doing it but hey "What a girl wants What a girl needs What ever us happy will set the men free" :) :) ;) Right?! 

Oh lordy The moment I opened this tube of gorgeousness I fell in love with the scent.  I mean the moment you open this you are hit in the face with this beautiful fuity zesty lime scent that you immediately want to jump into the shower and spend hours in there :) :) 

While using this beauty in the shower the scent will put you in the mind of a sunning warm day waling through a garden full of beautiful flowers (mmmm smiling while I type this)  until you open your eyes and realise you are hearing the hail stone thumping against the window lol 

Looking inside the package the scrub would remind you of squashed kiwis :)  The consistency at first is very very thick and gloopy.  Once spread on your skin and contact with water it immediately dissolves making it easier to spread all over the body.  While you gentle rub in circular motions you will feel the sea salt and brown sugar working its magic gently on your skin.  You will also notice the scrub turning into a milky substance.  What I love while rinsing this beauty of is that the Sea Salt and Brown Sugar quick rinses off your body which with other scrubs can be a pain to get off straight away.  I find with some defoliators you have to use a separate body wash to wash away the bits :)  This is a dream to wash off :) 

My skin feels extremely soft and moisturised after use :)  The Macadamia oil which is infused in the scrub works its magic by moisturising your skin while you wash.  Sometimes I feel I dont even feel I have to moisturise when I come straight out of the shower depending on how dry my skin feels but I always moisturise after any shower no matter what as its a need on my case unfortunately.  Even though there is Macadamia and almond oil in this scrub it doesnt feel too oily on the skin while you are washing and the best thing about that is less mess in your shower!!!

  If you have sensitive skin you are best of using this when your skin is wet but if you do not suffer sensitive skin and want the best exfoliating experience from this use directly on dry skin and then rinse :)  I tend to use this on my legs before I jump into the shower as my legs are the worst and I have to say its amazing :)  The scent has to be my favour thing about this product to be honest its just amazing :) :) 

If you havent tried this yet I highly recommend it you will want to use it every single day :) :)

SOAP & GLORY DEEP PURIFYING HOT CLOTH CLEANSER

Hello My beauties I hope you are all well :) 

This might be hard to believe but I have never ever tried anything from Soap & Glory before.  I know I know shame on me but to be honest when it first came out on the market I wasnt exactly keen on the scent of their products.  I like sweet smelling products but found I got a headache every time I smelt these products in particular.  Since then I have been seen alot of great reviews about Soap & Glory and they fact their product are so good.  So I ventured into Boots one day and browsed through their lovely display and picked up this product to try out :) :)  Plus I have to add since Smelling their products in the beginning I have noticed The scent has changed and varied.  They now have different scented products so thumbs up to that :)  

You might remember me reviewing something like this from another brand about 2 months ago Human  Kind's All In One Facial Cleanser it ended up been one of my favourite cleansers I have tried to date.  Well I was beginning to run low on it and decided before buying it again I would try this out.  It was on offer at the time so I have to snatch it up right? 

I have to say even though I have never tried Soap & Glory products before I have always been impressed with their packaging.  You can tell they take pride in it and it shows.  Its so girly I love it :) 

Soap & Glory Claims:    Who needs a facial when you can stay at home and enjoy The Ultimelt from Soap & Glory? It's super-concentrated, smoothing, revitalising, and deep cleansing – like a detox spa for your skin.

• super-concentrated cleansing, smoothing and revitalising

• melts away make-up

• rebalances and brightens

• for all skin types (except those sensitive to essential oils)

Inside the pretty box you are getting a nicely sized tube of the cleanser and also the muslin cloth.  The first thing I noticed was the weight of this tube of cleanser and boy for a medium sized tube it certainly feels jammed with product.  To be honest the first thing I noticed and was not impressed with was the cloth.  When I opened it it it looked and felt more like a hanky in which I have plenty of.  It is nothing like the cloth I got with my Human & Kind All in One Facial Cleanser.  Boy that cloth is amazing !!!!!! I mean it :) :)   In all fairness I still gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it :) 

I am sorry But this cloth was way too harsh and to be honest if you have acne prone skin or have breakouts this cloth is gonna hurt big time !!!!! I think a more softer cloth would be better.  

Onto the cleanser itself 

I was really impressed with one thing and that is that you are getting Provitamin B5 which has a natural ability to soothe, moisturise heal and regenerate the skin.  

This cleanser also contains Almond oil which contain vitamin a,c and e it is also known to lock moisture into your skin without blocking your pores.  Not only that Almond oil is good for dark circles which might explain Soap & Glorys claims that this cleanser brightens the skin.  Almond Oil is also known to remove dead skin cells and remove impurities 

There is also Clary Sage which is said that it balances and regulates the production of natural oils in the skin, reducing both oily and dry skin and makes your skin look young and beautiful.

Just to note that it is rumoured that Essential oils are bad for acne prone skin and some people do believe that Essential oils do actually effect their skin and flare ups.  Well I can tell you according to research that essential oils are actually not all that bad and can actually be good for acne prone skin.   For instance Rose Oil is an anti-inflammatory with helps reduce flare ups helping them to heal.  Also Orange Oil is good for anyone who has dull and oily skin :) 

Lavender Oil is an anti-inflammatory an antiseptic and an anti-fungal 

 Now I am not saying you will not get a reaction from these oils I am just saying dont judge that they will affect you from what you see in the ingredients :) :)  Do your research and even if you are still unsure simply do a skin test before you use the product as it does state as a warning on the package that Essential Oil may cause irritation on extreme sensitive skin 

Now that that topic is over with lets get back to my thoughts on this :) 

The consistency of the cleanser is very very thick in fact I got a wee bit worried at the fact it was so thick coming out of the tube but once I spread it out with my warm fingers I noticed it started to melt onto my skin and got easier to spread out.  Once I massaged this on my face for 2 minutes I barely noticed the thickness of the cleanser.  I could get the scents of the lavender and orange while massaging this in but its not very strong and smells very nice.  The cleanser does in fact feel oily against the skin but nothing too heavy.  My skin felt like it was soaking up the product but I didnt feel like it was smoothing my skin.  

Ok I know the directions said take the cloth after massaging the cleanser on your face and press the product off you face.  Now im sorry but how can you possibly press off a cleanser which contains essential oils off your face by pressing a cloth on your face no im sorry it doesnt work that way.  So I wiped the cleanser off my face and yes it took alot of my make-up off my face :) :) 

* *Do not let this cleanser go near your eyes it burns like crazy believe me I know !!!!!!**

I did feel I had to go in with my Garnier Micellar Water just to seal the deal and I have to admit i needed it there was still a wee bit of product left on my face.  I think that was because of the cloth in all honesty because the second time I tried it I used the cloth I got with the Human & Kind cleanser and it worked alot better so much better I found my face was squeezy clean and didnt need a going over with the Micellar Water 

In all the cleanser itself is good and does do its job.  It removes alot of your makeup and leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean.  It did not irratate my skin at all.  You do have to be extra careful around the eye area or it will burn.  I can tell this product is going to last for a very long time because its so thick and you only need a pea sized amount to do your entire face.  I just hate the cloth its horrible !!!!!! 

Would I purchase again ??? Maybe yes but to be honest I do miss my Human & Kind All in One Cleanser as I feel more satisfaction from that than this cleanser.
