Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer in Light & Medium

Hey My beauties how are you all doing today :) :)
Well you know the way you have to go through so many foundations to get the ONE that suits s
everything you want from it.  It could possibly take years of wasted money trying to find it well i know that's happened with me and I'm sure 90% of you out there are on the same boat.  Well to be honest its almost the same for concealers.  I have went through and tried out so many concealers in my life time to find the right one for my needs.  I suffer with dark circles and dark lids and also suffer with odd breakouts around the time of the month.  I also have some discolouration around my forehead due to sun exposure years ago.
It is very hard to find a concealer that is Medium to full coverage, covers up blemishes without looking cakey making them look worst, also a concealer that conceals dark eyes but also brightens them and not soak into fine lines and also budget friendly.  Awwww the list goes on and on.  Well I couldn't believe my eyes and luck when all in one month I find not one but two concealers that does what i want it to do :)
I have already reviewed my first find which I absolutely adore and that is the Catrice Camouflage Cream Concealer.  Well Today I am revealing my next find The Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer

I finally after about 2 years of hearing nothing but rave reviews about this concealer got my hands on it.  Where I am from The boots never stocked the Collection brand not until a few months back and now I can finally get it whenever I want so I decided to pick 2 shades as I didn't know which one would suit me
Out of the four shades to choose from I decided to go with Light and Medium as I didnt know which one would suit my skin-tone more.  Plus it was summer when I bought them and I had a nice tan from the amazing weather we got so even if Light did not match me it would surely match my in the winter when my tan wears off
The Packaging as you see it is a plastic tube with a twistable lid that contains a sponge tip applicator.  Its the perfect size for applying under the eyes around the nose and on blemishes even though i do not use the sponge for blemishes I use a separate brush for that.
The writing on the packaging is already wearing off on one of my tubes as i use that more than the other but I wouldn't mind that as long as the product is good :) :)

As I mentioned above I got two shades Light and Medium.  I found Light is too Light for me at the moment but its perfect for me to use for highlighting areas such as under my eyes between my brows etc Light is pink toned and perfect for anyone who is very pale or with a cool or neutral undertone.  Medium on the other hand is a perfect match for me and is yellow toned perfect for anyone with neutral or warm undertone.  The Fact that I fall into the Warm skintone & neutral undertone category I find both suit me fine.
The consistency of this concealer is very creamy and semi thick and is super easy to blend in fact it literally takes seconds to blend out to perfection.

Collection promises maximum coverage with a flawless finish not only that but promises to conceal for up to 16 hrs.  They also so that the concealer is water & transfer proof :)
They were not wrong in their promises.  You only need the smallest amount to cover what you need to cover and I found even with this concealer been medium to full coverage it does not set into your pores or fine lines.  I can not believe how much of a natural finish I get from this concealer there is no tell tale signs that I use a concealer at all not even on my blemishes.  I have even found that you can get away with not using a powder over the concealer.  The one thing I did find is that it sets very quick so if using under your eyes apply to one eye first when finish apply to the other.  I like to use my e.l.f. Studio Angled Contour Brush to blend the concealer out or just use my fingers.
Lately I have been using both concealers the Medium is for my blemishes and everything else I want to cover up and the Light shade I use to highlight under my eyes more and between my brows down the bridge of my nose on top of my lip on the cheek bones and on my chin :) :) I Love the finish especially on my dull days I am going to post up a photo of before and after in the before photo I have everything from dark eyes to a horrible break out on my chin and mouth area oh yes and some vigorous plucking of eyebrows lol

In all I am totally and madly in love with this concealer its everything I wanted in a concealer and more.
It conceals everything,  It doesn't settle into fine lines and large pores,  it doesn't need setting,  it brightens up area that needs to be brightened,  it lasts all day,  it doesn't budge or smudge,  it doesnt cake up,  it doesnt dry out and most of all its super affordable at just €6.49 each (at the moment boots.ie are doing a promotion buy 1 get 1 half price)  I Highly Highly recommend this concealer to everyone and I mean everyone if you havent tried it already it gets 10/10 marks for me.  If I could apply this as a foundation I would be a happy gal lol
Have you tried this concealer yet?  What are your thoughts on it :)
Until next time

Catrice Made To Stay Longlasting Eyeshadow Collection

Hey my Beauties How are you all doing?
About a couple of weeks ago I went on a small shopping trip to get the last bits i needed for my kiddies for school and i could help but head over to one of my favourite stores Penney's
When there at the checkout was the Catrice and Essence stand.  On both stands i could see the word "New" in lots of places and i thought oh my gosh i just have to :)
So i came across 2 new shades of the Catrice Made to Stay Longlasting Eyeshadows.  They have been a favourite of mine since i first started buying Catrice.  I ended up just picking one as the other shade did not appeal to me.  When i got home I put it along side my other made to stay eyeshadow and then it just clicked "I have not reviewed these yet :O"
I do have to laugh at myself sometimes as if i try something new 9 times out of 10 i always review them but when you get so used to using something and have it so long you tend to take it for granted like i really really should have reviewed these before now because i love them so much
Anyways i am babbling sorry :)
Elegant, shiny metallic cream eyeshadows that are long-lasting and convincing. Easy to apply, the intensively pigmented texture seems to melt on your eyelid without settling in the crease or smudging. All day and all night long.
Ctrice only recently got rid of 2 shades in these eyeshadows and bought in 2 new shades.  One of the shades that is discontinued is the 030 Star was Here but im sure you can still get it in some stores and probably even at a reduced price and i have one of the newest shade 070 Mauvie Star
So the Packaging is one of the things i love about these.  They remind me a little of the Maybelline color tattoo.  The jar is glass and it comes with a plastic lid.  This certainly would fool people into thinking you paid more than 5 euro in which is all they cost in most place but you could get them even cheaper, plus you are getting 5g of product for that.   The only fault i have maybe with the jar is that its hard to get the product out the more you use it you would certain find it awkward to get your finger to pick up any product without picking up too much.
So on with the shades i have so far :)
020 Romans gone Bad:  This is my very first one that i bought and fell in love with (as you can tell by the messy pot sorry about that lol)  This shade is amazing both on its own or as a base for a smokey eye.  I love this shade as its all depending on the lighting but you will get a tint of grey, brown and gold even though i would explain this as a pewter :)  I tend to wear this on its own alot for everyday wear and when i run it lightly on my bottom lash line it looks like i have a different shade on depending on the lighting :)
030 Star was here:  This is another great base for a dark smokey eye.  Its a dark grey with silver shimmer.  I have found that the shimmer in this is more noticeable.  I have found that this little beautiful is a little hard to work with if you apply too much in the one go it will tend to move about a little and become a nightmare to blend so what i would advise is to apply lightly and build up on it as it works alot better that way
040 Lord of the Blings:  As from last month this shade has been discontinued but might still be available in some stores and for sure half price......This shade is more of a light taupe with silver shimmer even though it pays off as a champagne shade.  This is perfect for those days you need that extra boost to make you look wide away....Them days i wear all over the lid.  Other days i use this as a inner corner highlight in which works really well and then i sometimes use this as a base.  This too like "Star was here" needs to be built up but the shade is stunning i was actually surprised it was discontinued
050 Medall of Honor:  Now this certainly reminds me of the Maybelline "Bad to the Bronze" Color tattoo which is my favourite :) only this is a little darker.  This is a bronzy/brown shade with gold shimmer.  I absolutely love this shade as Maybelline "bad to the bronze" is so so popular this is one shade that will rock everyones boat especially when its half the price of the color tattoo.  I love this on its own, as a base or mised with other shades and i found it really makes my hazel eyes pop :) I highly recommend this shade
070 Mauvie Star:  This is the newest shade to my collection and was only released last month.  I went with this shade as i love my purple shades.  This is a really pretty mauve purple with silver shimmer.  This is a very pretty elegant colour and would look so pretty with a little darker purple in the crease and a winged liner so elegant it would look lovely on a bride :) this is so easy to work it and so creamy i love it :)
Ok to cut a long story short these eyeshadows are amazing.  They do exactly what it says on the pot.  I found they lasted all day on me no problems and i have even tested them on someone who has very oily lids and they lasted 6 hours before moving on their lids.  I then tested them on her lids with a primer and she said they lasted a solid 12 hours on her without creasing.  I would highly recommend these to everyone who doesn't mind metallic eyeshadows.  They look stunning on their own and are brilliant as a base.
The fact there is only 6 shades to choose from is a downer :( I really hope Catrice brings out more shades.  You can apply these with your fingers or any eye brush they blend out really well and you have enough time to blend it out before it drys.

Have you tried any of these eyeshadows?  What is your favourite one.
Until next time

Loreal Infallible Eyeshadow Collection :)

Hey my Beauties I hope you are all well :)
So Its Back to school time for some of you how are you all getting on so far :)
My kiddies have been back for two days now and are happy so far until they start getting homework lol then the complaints will start :)
Anyways today's post is showing you my Little Loreal Infallible Eyeshadow collection
Now the top 9 shade i got about 3 weeks ago and the bottom three i have had for much longer especially the last one :)
Some of these eyeshadows are from older collections but all of them of course are still available to purchase.  I recently purchased the 9 additional shades from the same seller I got the Maybelline Color Tattoo's & Revlon Just Bitten Lip Balm Stains her link is on my two recent blog posts.  I got yet another amazing amazing deal from her
L’Oréal Paris unveils its latest eye shadow. Ultra-intense colour, up to 24 hour long-lasting hold and velvety soft feel. At the heart of the revolution: a hybrid powder texture, a luxuriously creamy eye shadow. Intense colour in just a stroke. The formula is both water resistant and smudge resistant and does not run into fine lines around the eyes
I have always always wanted to try these because the first time i heard about these was watching YouTube tutorials and i first seen them watching Pixiwoo.  They stated that they were amazing and that had me sold as i trust their word since then i watched more an more videos and noticed these eyeshadows getting more and more popular.  They were not available here at the time so i jumped onto Ebay and bought my first Loreal Infallible Eyeshadow which was the last picture "Burning Black" I instantly fell in love.  I actually do not know why it took me so long to stock up on more of these little beauties but better now than never eh?

The eyeshadows come in a plastic pot.  The plastic pot is clear so you can easily see the shade and it comes with a silver lid.  When you unscrew the lid there is a plastic covering the you can pick out each time you want to use it (love that idea as it keeps the eyeshadow hygienic) You are getting 3.5g of product in each pot and they cost around $7-8 give or take.  I also think they cost about 7-8 euro each here in Ireland.
I will be showing you this years 6 new shades that were released in around June :) :) in this collection
First of all i will show you shades and then talk a little more about them :)
So First up
Endless Sea:  This is one of the newer shade out this was released in June 2012 in America and When i seen this shade i had to have it :)  Oh my goodness when i seen this in its pot with the sun shining on top of it I was in total awwwwwww.  I could get a glimps of green, blue & gold in this shadow.  When applied its more Aqua with obviously shimmer :) :) I love this eyeshadow its a great pop of colour :) I found this absolutely fantastic to apply and very very pigmented.
Golden Emerald: Released June 2012:  Oh the moment I seen this i knew i was definitely going to be wearing this on Paddy's day its the perfect green :) :) (but thats not until next March lol i like to think ahead) This is a fantastic Mossy green with golden shimmer just look at the photo and how it glistens in the sun :) I love it :)   I found this didnt last as long on my eyelids as i would have liked it to i noticed it started fading a little half way through the day so when i applied it another day I used a primer and that made it stay put all day long without a movement.  I think maybe thats because its a little on the drier side than some on the eyeshadows but its still a favourite of mine 100%
Continuous Cocoa:  This is a little older in the collection but amazingly pigmented.  This is a more black brown shade and also verges towards been matte.  Now what i mean by verges toward matte is that there is a tad sheen to it which makes it look like it has tiny specks of glitter only in the sunshine as you will see in the photo. Wow a little of this goes a long long way and i love how extra creamy it is which makes it all the more easier to blend and get it looking a-ok before it sets on the eye.
Bronzed Taupe:  Another older shade to the collection not much older.  The name speaks for itself :) This is a Medium taupe with golden shimmer which leaves a more metallic finish.  Love it!!!! Its cream smooth so easy to apply and I love it :) :)
Next up :)
Smoldering Plum:  Released June 2012  Pretty Pretty Pretty Purple :) This is a beautiful Plum shade with burgundy/ reddish shimmer.  It also has a black undertone which is what make it look dark :)  This is perfect for wearing on a night out for a quick and simple smokey eye or as a liner :) I Love this one :) This is actually very familiar to "Burning Black" in which you will see further on in this post as "Burning Black" was my very first one to buy :)
Bottomless Java:  Another of the Newest Shades released in 2012 :)  Ok I have to admit i dont the whole "Judging a book by its cover thing" with this eyeshadow.  When i first saw this in person i thought OMG its looks a dirty rusty looking brown :( But when i actually applied it on the eyes wow did this amaze me it drew out the colour of my eyes so much which i love.  This a actually a nice Chocolate brown with golden shimmer.  I really like how this shade surprised me :) :)
Liquid Diamond:  Another of this years new shades in June 2012 :)  Now this is surely not your average silver eyeshadow.  It looks it in the pot but when swatched its like a "whole new world" :) This is a grey silver shade with purple undertones its sort of has that purply sheen to it in the sun which make this shade even more unique. This little beauty certainly is sparkly.
Perpetual Purple:  Oh well now Ladies and Gents I just could not and would not pass this shade.  Oh lordy lord is this a fantastic shade to look at :) :) This is another older shade but i was drawn to it of course purple been my favourite colour :)  This is a rich violet shade with little red shimmer bits.  I love wearing this wet.  Oh its fantastic when applied wet and you could get away with just wearing this for a night time look as its so intense.  When you apply it dry which i had done today it wasnt as intense and i actually found it fading after 4 hours of wear.  Admittedly i did not apply a primer as i thought it would be intense enough and i didnt want to go too crazy for just going up town but was very surprised to see it wearing off so quick.  I will update you on how it is with a primer soon
The Last four is...
Glistening Garnet:  Another new release of June 2012.... This is a lovely fuchsia pink.  This finish is more frosty.  I have always been not scared but cautious about this sort of shade on me as I feel it makes me look like I got punched in the eye you know the way a black eye turns when it starts to fade away?  especially if its worn on its own lol But i have learned to use this shade properly through watching some amazing talented people on YouTube and it looks really really well especially with darker shade such as a dark chocolate brown.  I think once you play around with shades your more scared of you will actually learn to love them.  Its still not one of my favourites but I do like playing around with it :)
Endless Pearl:  This is one of the older shades in the collection...We Finally have a true matte in this collection and here it is :)  As you can see its a nice cream shade.  I actually found this lovely to wear on my no make up days.  Days i just dont want to bother with eyeshadows but want to cover my discoloured eyelids and just wear eyeliner.  I have found this one in particular a little chalkier for some reason.  I dont know if its the fact its an older shade or if all "Endless pearls" are like this but its more dried up.  I can still work with it and i found it did last all day long.  I will surely be wearing this little beauty today to wake up my tired big eyes.  Lordy people do say to me im blessed to have big eyes but when im tired i dont feel so blessed because you notice my tiredness quicker lol :) :) This is surely one eyeshadow you wont regret buying :)
Amber Rush:  I actually got this in a blog sale for around $3 it was only swatched by the owner so i said hey i will take it :) I was told that this shade was part of the Spring collection this year so it isn't that old :)  This is a nice coppery bronzy shade and as you can see gives a metallic finish.  Wow the minute i swatched it i could see on my finger it was metallic.  This shade will be perfect for autumn paired off with greens or browns it looks brilliant with :) The consistency of this shade is so creamy and blends so easily.
Burning Black:   This is that shade thats  similar to "Smoldering Plum" :)  This is more of a blackened Burgundy I have loved this shade since i first got it :) its amazing for anyone but i find my hazel eyes stand out amazingly when i wear this shade.   This is so creamy and so easy to work with i love love love it :) :) I will show you a picture of Smoldering Plum and Burning Black beside each other to show you how alike they are :)
Overall these eyeshadows are we worth playing around with.  Especially if you like frosty or metallic eyeshadows :)  They are very handy for quick and simple eye looks or if you were in a hurry in the mornings a quick swipe of one of these shades on your eyes and off you go.  Some of these eyeshadows i found that were a little drier in consistency had a little fall out but not they type to ruin your foundation.  With most of them i found they are so easy to work with and so easy to blend.  I love the idea of cream-powder shadows and they certainly feel like that.  When I swatch it first if feels cream and soft but then when i rub my fingers together it peels like its drying out and powdery.  Lasting power on these i dont think they would last 24 hours in my opinion not like the Maybelline color tattoo eye shadows as some of them i noticed without a primer starting to fade half way through the day but with a primer they are surely to last until you take them off.  The Pigmentation is outstanding and i find these eyeshadow will last you for a long long time so every penny spend is worth it :)
Bottom line no they do not top off my Maybelline color Tattoo's but they have impressed me enough to buy more if they ever bring out new shades :)

Right I think i am finally finish wow i hope with these super long post i didn't make you fall asleep lol.  Have you ever tried these if so what shades have you got? What is your Fav? and what do you think of them :)
Until next time

Catrice "Coolibri" Collection :)

Hey my beauties :) Its that time again yeeeeeeeeee
Catrice has launched their New Limited Edition for the Months of June & July :)
Its Called "Coolibri" :) How they come up with these names i do not know but they are catchy.  Now i know what your thinking Why does Ireland only get the Limited Editions after the release dates well of course we would be a month behind because Catrice is a German based Brand so by the time its release in countries that sell their brand it will be a little later but i dont mind waiting as i get to enjoy the previous Limited Edition More.
Now of course As i said in my Last video I am been very good lately and only buying what i know i will use rather than the whole collection so what i show you today is not every shade of the item and i will tell you the shades or what else im missing from the collection just for your information :) :)
Enough babbling Nina Let get on with it :) :)
So here is my collection does the picture look so colourful :) :) :)
Fantastic and full of color – the coolibri with bright, colorful feathers from the depths of the Amazon. Its mysterious home and breathtaking blaze of color offer the inspiration for the contrasting and fashionable colors of the 2012 summer season catwalk looks with intensive, bright color blocking – and is reflected in the Limited Edition “Coolibri” by CATRICE. In June and July 2012, sunny yellow and rich green shades, cool turquoise blue, warm orange-red and fresh pink whisk you away to the iridescent world of Amazon colors. The ideal make-up for summertime – fascinating, light and radiantly beautiful! by Catrice
First up in the Collection is these eyeshadow pens.  When i first seen these on the site i was super excited about trying them but then i thought would they be any good would they crease etc.  Would they be as good as some of my eyeshadow pencils i already own hmmmmm
Well there is 4 eyeshadow pens to choose from but i picked these 3 the one missing is a very very bright Matte orange pen beautiful shade but i doubt i would ever really use it :)
These little beauties cost about 3.99 each which is fairly reasonable
Well now i can tell you all i am well impressed with these i was impressed from the moment i swatched them in the store because after i swatched them i used a baby wipe to try taking them off and i literally had to scrub to take them off and even at that i could still see the swatches lightly on my hand
They are all incredibly pigmented and creamy literally one swipe of these would do the job :)
What i love about these is that you have time to blend them out on the lid before they dry and they are so easy to apply.  They are incredibly long lasting as they lasted all day on my lids now to be honest i have not tried them without a primer as i always use one anyway its just habit with me but i am sure they would last just as long.  I can safely say they are water resistant as i wore these on a very rainy day and they never budged (pity i didnt think of wearing waterproof mascara that day lordy you should have seen the panda eyes on me that day lol)
I have also tried these as an eyeliner for the bottom lash line and they give a great pop of colour
I highly recommend them.  The name of the shade i am missing is 04 Exotica :)
Jelly Cheek Tint 3.99 euro for 1.6mls.  Now my first thought when i seen this on the stand was eh "who emptied half of the product out of the Jar i check all of them and they were the same hmmmm you will see what i mean in the next photos.  They are not even half full aside from that the product itself appealed to me enough to try it out so i went ahead and bought it.  This is basically a gel blush that smells like strawberries mmmmmm Its constancy is thin enough you do have to build it up to get a good colour from it to be honest i will save this for the lips rather than the cheeks as I will use less of the products that way after all there is little product in it as it is.  To get value for money you would have to be very fair to use this and get enough colour out of one layer otherwise you will be using two to three layers to get a nice shade on the cheeks.
This I probably would not purchase again not for the price it was anyway :)
Nectar Glosses:  According to Catrice these glosses With their light, semi-transparent texture and subtle lip colour, the Nectar Gloss provides a popular wet-gloss finish and leaves your lips feeling irresistibly soft.
I have to say i agree even though on my lips i get no colour with them they do indeed leave my lips looking super glossy n kissable hehe
I only got two shades in these because they are practically a clear gloss
Can you see how skinny the brush is?  The thing is the brush one the first gloss is not even that soft its hard which is a bit weird.  I have to place a bit on my lips and even it out with my finger.  The second gloss applicator was fine :)
I am missing 2 other shades 01 Birds fly High & 04 Exotica For the price they are worth it if you are looking for a gloss that will give you that wet look on your lips they cost 2.99 euro each
Oh boy did i not get excited when i seen all of these colours woweeeeee :)
There are 5 nail polishes to this collection obviously i only picked 4 i know what your thinking lol your think why didnt she just get all 5 right? well the thing is the other shade was a yellow shade in fact the name of it is 04 Twist of Lemon.  Yellow nail polishes are not a favourite of mine to be honest so thats why i left it aside :)
Now each of these nail polishes cost bout 2.79 euro each for 10mls which i think is an amazing price for any Catrice nail polish i love them :)
I have pictures of 3 of these i have tried so far i will post up the other one when after i give my poor nails a rest lol i have been very naughty to them lately trying all these fabulous new nail polishes out the one picture i am missing is Birds Flying High which is beautiful creme blue :) it actually recommends using a base coat with it as i guess it stains the nail but it looks fantastic in the bottle and im sure it will look even better on the nail look back here in about a week or check out my Facebook page for a swatch of it :)
Next up is Virgin Forest in which i post up a picture of this already on my Facebook page :) Virgin Forest is a fantastic shimmery shamrock green :) awww i love this shade the shimmer almost gives a goldy glisten in the sun i have been asked so many times what nail polish this is when i wore it :)  This needed 2 to 3 coats to achieve what you see in the photo but it did last a full week with top coat over it :) :)
Exotica wow oh wow is this not a fantastic colour :) This is a surprising shade actually :) its a beautiful orange with pink shimmer and it looks great when the sun shines on it.  The pink shimmer makes the shade unique which i love :)  This needed 3 coats to be honest as the polish is a little thinner than the first one
Abloom this is a fantastic pinky red shade with no shimmer again a little thinner in constancy but with 3 coats you can achieve what is in the picture :) This shade brings out the tan on my hands i love it :) :) I can see myself wearing this on special occasions with a lovely dress and in summer time :) :) or even at Christmas time if i didn't want to go for a full red shade :)

There you go there is my review on the New Limited Edition "Coolibri".  I think my favourite out of the whole lot is The nail polishes and the eyeshadow pens the rest i think i would leave aside to be honest :) I think to be honest that this is the worst collection from Catrice because its the first time that out of all of the collection i only really liked 2 of the product but i said i would review them all so you all can make up your own minds what you would like to try :) :)

I hope this review was not to lengthy for you but i needed to get everything in on one post as this is after all a Limited Edition and you only have a certain amount of time to get these :)
I hope you are all well
Until Next time
Take Care
