Famous X High Five Eye Shadows in Smouldering, After Hours & Exposed

Well hello there :) How are you today :)
Following my great first time experience with a new founded brand called Famous X
I just could not help myself to browse their site again and go a little cray cray buying some more of their products to try out plus there was a half price sale on everything at the time so why ever not eh?
If you missed my first experience post click here to see what Famous X is all about :) I know a few of you were very interested in it after my post and some of you like myself never heard of it before.  So why was I so excited to try it out??? Well its developed by a makeup artist and its also supposed to be the sister of MUA aka Makeup Acadamy which mean ones thing....... Another affordable drugstore brand wahoooooo we all like to hear that :)
But are they worth trying???? Read on and I shall tell you :)
Let me just show you my haul I got just to define what i ment by cray cray :) :)
CRAY CRAY !!!!!
But plenty of reviews for you guys of course hehehe
So back to what I am reviewing today :)
The Famous X High Five Eye Shadows :)
Now I have to admit these were the first thing I noticed and wanted to try out They just looked too irresistible
I have to begin with the packaging :) :)
WOW I am in love with this packaging its so girly.  If you are a leopard skin gal well these would suit your leopard skinned collection straight away lol and as for the glittery spots around it well, you would have no shame pulling this out of your handbag and showing it off.  No body would every imagine you only paid £4.99 for it shhhhhhhhhh
Plus the fact that you have 6 of these palettes to choose from is brilliant :)
I choose 3 just because I havent tried them before and i don't like to go completely crazy with the whole grab all job at once hehehe
Each palette comes with 5 shades to choose from.
To be honest I thought when buying these palettes that the eye-shadows were going to be a little small and difficult to use when using a brush but I was wrong indeed again :)
Starting with the first palette :)
I am in love with these shades Dont they look amazing I just had to take this picture in the sun to show you its true colours :)
Smouldering - I love how these shades collaborate with each other :)
You are getting a lovely dark chocolate brown shade with burgundy shimmer the finish of this shade is metallicy and might i add a little chalky so be careful but its also very very pigmented I love it
You are also getting a very pigmented burgundy shade with shimmers a little less metallicy but more of a satin finish
The lighter shades you are getting a cream shade which to be honest needs a little coaxing to come out of the pan but is a nice highlight the other two shades is a medium brown with a peachy undertone and a nice peachy shade :) Altogether these shades look lovely together and is great for people with hazel eyes especially :)
Next Palette
After hours of course is a perfect dark smokey eye going out palette :)
You have
A very shimmer silver which I found is a little on the chalky side and you can pick up a little too much product so be careful
you have A shimmery grey which is perfect
A shimmery blackened grey again very pigmented and a little bit chalky but easy to work with
A Matte black which shocked me a little to be honest I wasn't expecting it to be as pigmented as it is
And lastly a matte light grey
I am impressed with this palette the fact that there is two matte shades to work with The matte black is a tiny bit hard to blend out but if you apply a little at a time you can work with it better than applying too much in one go
And Lastly
Exposed is a great neutral palette and suitable for everyone :)
You are getting a great blending shade which is a nice matte tan shade
A medium brown with bronzy shimmer which is a little chalky but again great to work with
A beautiful deep chocolate brown with stunning multi coloured micro shimmers
A medium chocolate brown another matte shade a little hard to work with but can be done and lastly a shimmery white with a metallic finish
To be honest when using this palette I find myself staying away from the shimmery white its just the sort of shade I wouldnt go for when using these neutral shade in fact I sort of find it funny that they even included this shade with this palette I would have rather a shimmer gold or even a cream highlight but not white metallic
Anyway its not a major issue the rest of the shade are stunning and work well together :)
To show you all how pigmented these are I applied the swatches without a primer :)
I have to admit Famous X has won me over with these palette.  Some of the shades can be a little messy in the means of chalkiness and fallout while using them but that can be fixed of course but to be honest for the value they are they are so worth trying out and having in your collection the shades also work well together and make great day time and night time looks.  Here is a look I did with "Smouldering"

Alot of these eyeshadows feel silky smooth and creamy.  They look even better when used with a primer and last all day :)
I really cant recommend them enough for an affordable price you cant ask for more
Have you tried these yet ?
I have no pictures as of yet to show what they are like on the eyes but when I do I will surely be posting up pictures on my facebook page ;)
Until next time

ELF Jumbo Eyeshadow Sticks Review

Awwwww bet some have you have been waiting on this review :) :)
This review was requested from me the moment I posted up my e.l.f haul a month ago and I promised I would get it up as soon as possible but of course I have to play around with them first :)
Well you dont have to wait any longer :)
From the moment I seen these arriving to ELF Cosmetics UK I couldn't wait to get my hands on them and then when the 40% off everything off came about well i jumped to the chance of grabbing just a few shades ;)  I hadn't seen many review on these before I bought them so to be honest I just took the risk and ordered 7 of these :)
There are 10 shades altogether and for the life of me I actually can not think of the reason I didnt order the whole 10 but to be honest the only reason was maybe I was a little sceptic I dont know

Each one of these Shadow Sticks cost £2.50 for 3.og of product which is a good sized amount for that price :)
So what does e.l.f have to say about these bad boys :)
This creamy and pigment rich Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick is perfect for creating a natural or smoky eyeshadow look. Infused with nourishing Vitamin E to condition the delicate eye area. The twist up component and smooth glide formula is easy to use for on-the-go beauty. All colours, except Like A Boss, have a shimmer finish.
I have to say I am impressed with the packaging its plain and simple but what i love more is that the lid is very sturdy on each of them so there is no fear of the lid becoming loose in you bag :)  Another thing I am impressed with is they are twistable which means no sharpening needed yes we all love that :)
And lastly what I am impressed with is each shade is easy to pick out due to the clear lid and also the end where you twist the pencil has the shade of each of the pencil on it.
Lets show you the shades :)
Little Miss Thing:  This is a stunning soft goldy/champagne shade with gold shimmer.  I was expecting this shade to be sheer but in all honesty it wasnt.  This is a perfect highlight shade for the inner corner or as a base for your favourite gold looks :)
Check Me Out:  PURPLE I love purple :) :) ok (relax nina)  This is a stunning deep purple with reddish shimmers to it a stunning shade to use for a smokey eye :)
Rock Out:  This is a stunning pewter shade with soft tiny gold shimmers again this is nicely pigmented
French Lace:  A stunning champagne shade with silver shimmers.   This is such a pretty pretty shade I have used this on its own for that simple wide awake look I have found this a little more creamier than the first 3 I have talked about so far :)  I have to say I love this shade Its great as a base inner corner highlight brow bone highlight etc :)
Forest Nymph:  A Deep Drown with gold shimmers but has a slight green undertone its actually a very unusual shade in normal light it looks dark brown in sunlight it looks greeny brown I like it
Turkish Coffee:  A Beautiful bronzy brown with golden shimmer Anyone who likes their neutrals will love this :)
Feeling Lucky:  I love this shade :) love it :) a deep burgundy brown with gold shimmer :) Beautiful
Feeling Lucky, Turkish Coffee, Forest Nymph, French Lace,  Rock Out, Check Me Out & Little Miss Thing Taken in natural lighting :)
Feeling Lucky, Turkish Coffee, Forest Nymph, French Lace,  Rock Out, Check Me Out & Little Miss Thing in sunlight
These shadow sticks are very very creamy, very easy to blend and I love every shade I got.  I have found that they are ok on their own but to be honest will end up creasing if worn on their own.  Even with a primer i found they only lasted about 4 to 6 hours before i noticed creasing and fading.  If you suffer with very oily lids your will have trouble with these if you were to wear them on their own.
For a base well I love them as a base they work brilliantly the same as the NYX Jumbo eye pencil in which I find does the very very same job !!!! The NYX jumbo eye pencils are no good on their own they crease like crazy but are amazing as a base I feel the e.l.f Jumbo shadow sticks are the same.  The only difference is the price e.l.f are cheaper.  If you are looking for a matte base these are not for you but for nights out or for funky looks these are definitely the way to go.
I have noticed a few people complain a little about the scent of these but to be honest I dont find a strong scent and again to be honest the scent is really not a matter for me as they are not going on the lips they are going onto the eyes.
In all I think they are not a bad product for the price they will surely need a primer either on their own or as a base just for the security of lasting all day but for the price they do alot more than what I expected
Do I recommend them???
Yes for a base
No for a long lasting eye-shadow (long lasting i mean more than 3 hours)
So I hope this review helped you
If you have any questions comment below and i will get back to you ASAP :)
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my review xxxxx

ELF Maximum Coverage Concealer in Sand & Nude Review & Swatches

Hey my beauties how are you all doing today :)
I thought it was about time I reviewed another elf product from my recent haul and to be honest i have really put this to the test by using it every day since i got it so basically I have been using it a good 2 weeks or even more :)
Now when I first heard of e.l.f cosmetics coming out with a Maximum Coverage Concealer I was super excited because in all fairness (sorry elf) the other concealers on the site are not much to talk about but the whole Maximum coverage excited me because we all need Maximum coverage for certain reasons be it dark circles, blemishes and so on plus we need them to be covered all day long without worry dont we :)
So when I got these on their 40% off I made sure to get 2 shades so I know at least one would suit my skin tone :)
There is 6 Shades to choose from going from the lightest which is called "Porcelain" to the darkest which is called "Almond"
I went with the 2nd and 3rd shade up as I knew "Porcelain" would be too light for my skin tone which is about Fair to medium skin tone aka NC 20-25 :)  Depending on the time of year of course :)
Each concealer contains 20mls of product for £3.75 which is about 4 euro
Nice and affordable eh?
So e.l.f claim that this Maximum Coverage Concealer provides blendable, wearable, customisable coverage for body and face. The Oil Free formula is perfect for hiding birth marks, dark circles, blemishes, scars and more.  So lets see does it do that for us shall we :)
I like the way the packaging is simple for hygiene reasons because you simply squirt out a little each time you use it either on your hand or on a lid of some sort where every you desire :)
The packaging also reminds me of the Studio Tinted Moisturisers same idea only smaller :)
But for the price you are getting a nice amount of product so I cant complain about that :)
The consistency of this concealer is actually quite creamy and thick almost as thick as some foundations out there, but not too thick :)
It feels really smooth on the skin and to be honest takes very little effort to blend out.
I have found just a pea sized amount is more than enough to do each under eye area which says alot the above picture is a peas sized amount lightly blended of each shade :)
This takes very little effort to apply so you can either use your finger tips or sometimes I even use the e.l.f Studio Angled Contour Brush for times i need to tidy up the under eye area :) I love using that brush around the nose area too :)
I use Sand for my under eye area as its a little bit on the lighter side and perfect for brightening up
I use Nude for my blemishes or anything else I need to cover up :) Its a perfect match for the rest of my face :)
So does this actually do what it says???
I have to admit I am very impressed with the the fact that this concealer does not have a dry finish which means it does not soak into any fine lines or blemishes you have.  Another thing I love is that if you suffer with dryness under your eyes this concealer will actually cover that and will actually make your under eye area look fresh and dewy at all times.  Now the thing is I applied this under the eye and went about my business but noticed after about 4 to 5 hours that the concealer actually started to wear off which was a little disappointing so I highly recommend you use a little powder to set this as it will need it I use a translucent powder to set my under eye area and it lasts all day.  Does it cover my dark circles ?  Not 100% but it does a great job for a drugstore product and you can build it up.  If you are very very dark under the eyes this will not completely cover

For blemishes yes it covers them well and again will need a power to set to last all day
Now for tattoo's no it doesnt cover tattoo but to be honest you would need a full coverage concealer to cover up tatoos and i wouldn't really call this full coverage it would be more medium :)

Overall I am happy with this and I do recommend it to you to try out.  ELF has really stepped up this time on the concealer department for sure and for the price you cant go wrong
Ok for the moment I have been dreading The BEFORE & AFTER PHOTO (ahhhhhhhh)
Ok the before picture was taken first thing in the morning and I was tired as always but I have marked a blemish on my chin in which the concealer covered quite well and you will also notice the dark circles (hard to miss)
The first picture was taken in natural lighting the second with flash :)
I really could have made an effort to smile in the first photo lol but hey who is full of smiles after been up at 5 am and rushing an racing around before even getting a cuppa tea in them lol
So have you tried this concealer yet
What is your thoughts on it :)
Until next time

Product Rave!!!! Lorac Pro Palette

Hello my Fantastic Readers.  How are you all doing today :)
Well the post in particular will be an absolute Pleasure and I mean PLEASURE to talk about.  Plus its a long awaited review by some of you dying to know what palette i have been raving about.  I have been so busy playing with this palette it took over me writing about it lol my apologies :)
I have been posting up a few looks lately on facebook that i have tried with this palette and each time you have all loved how the eyeshadow look so I am now revealing the palette of my dreams.  I have even stated that this palette has taken over the love I have had for my Urban Decay Naked Palette.  Do not get me wrong I still love the UD Palette but I have to admit i have played with this palette more than the UD which says alot in my eyes :)
I have been wanting to get this palette for a very very very long time and first seen it on Its Judy time and Emily Noels youtube and they rave about it.  But to be honest its very very very hard to get it and yes it is on ebay but its been too expensive to purchase because in America its one of the top sold palettes.  So I was beginning to give up any hope until one day I was chatting with a lovely American friend who said she had no problem posting it to me I was super dooper excited and thank you so much hunny Love you :) :) Let me tell you right here right now If you have any American friends or anyone going over to America for a trip make sure to ask them to get you this Palette cause Gurlllllllllll you will fall in love !!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway I knew I was going to ramble and I am very sorry but when I rave about something I tend to go on about it lol but you love me really dont you ;) ;) ;)
Awwwww ladies and gents and all you makeup lovers this palette is amazing and I love love love using it
Ok lets get the whole packaging and price and stuff out of the way before I show you the shades I will be really quick i promise
The packaging is a fantastic professional looking packing and the feel of it is somewhat lip the Nars packaging its actually hard to explain but the nearest explanation I can think of is it sort of feels rubbery and while you have this in your hand unlike some palettes because of the rubbery effect you have no fear of this baby slipping out of your hand it gives you a good grip of it.  This is a perfect palette for make-up artists as it does look so professional.  The palette comes with a primer just like the Naked palette even tho i have to admit I prefer the UD primer over the Lorac one.  The Lorac primer is good but I have found it to be more sheer and a little more water based that the UD Primer.  Now to show you whats inside this beautiful palette :)
As you can see it comes with a very good sized mirror which is hand for travelling :)
It doesn't come with any applicators in which I don't mind as its more room for the shadows ;)
The price of this palette in America is around the $40 price mark which is about 30 euro :)
The Urban Decay palette here costs around 35 euro here so its around the same value in money.
The Lorac Palette comes with the total of 16 shades of eye-shadows (WOW) and half of those eye-shadows are Matte !!!!!!!! The other half is shimmery
The Urban Decay Palette comes with 12 shades and only 2 of them are matte !!!
Let me tell you now these shades are amazing.  This is a perfect Neutral palette filled with lots of choices in looks for day and of course night.  You also have a choice to go matte all the way or shimmer all the way or even a mixture of both.
The shadows feel so creamy and soft.  What amazed me more is the pigmentation and the colour payoff from each of these shadows i mean NOT ONE SHADE IS A LET DOWN THEY ARE ALL SUPER PIGMENTED
Dont get me started about how blendable each one of them are oh my goodness they are amazing and so easy to blend :)
There is a couple of shades in this palette that are a little on the chalky side and you will end up loosing a little of that shade each time you use it but hey it cant be 100% perfect can it :)
Now for the shades :)
This is the top row which are the Matte Shades :)
  1. White:  Is not exactly matte but is near enough there is a tiny bit of microshimmer in it but nothing noticable once you apply it.  I was surprised at how pigmented soft and oh so beautiful this shade is.
  2. Cream:  I love this shade for the brow bone for the inner corners of my eyes and for blending again very pigmented for a light shade
  3. Taupe:  This is perfect for the crease for your brows for anything really A nice medium brown shade that you will always find use for
  4. Lt. Pink:  This shade is stunning I presume LT. stands for light but if anyone knows what its stand for let me know its kinda bugging me lol.  This is a stunning light pink shade perfect for lid perfect for inner corner or even for the crease when your going for the purple pink look :)
  5. Mauve:  I love this very light to medium Mauve shade I have used this in the crease for far for one of my looks and its gorgeous
  6. Sable:  A Beautiful Brown with red undertones to it again a stunning shade
  7. Espresso:  Well th name speaks for itself a very pigmented Dark Brown
  8. Black:  A perfect pigment black :)
Wow oh wow these mattes are amazingly pigmented and so easy to work with as its hard to find really easy to work with matte that dont take forever to blend i feel totally blessed I have this palette :)  Just to give you an Idea of how good these matte shades look and work well together I will post up one of the looks I have tried out with Just matte shades from this palette :) "Remember I am not a makeup artist I just looooovvvveee makeup"
In this look I used White all over the lid, Mauve in the crease and Sable for a little definition and a little Espresso on the outer corner.
Next up is the bottom row which are the lovely shimmery shade :)
  1. Nude:  A Lovely shimmery cream/pink shade perfect for a highlight or for the inner corner or for a lid colour to open up those tired eyes :)
  2. Champagne:  A Lovely shimmer cream shade I have used this shade alot in my looks so far :)
  3. Gold:  This is a beautiful very pigmented shimmery gold I love this shade and have also used this alot since i got the palette this shade only takes a little to go a long way :) I will be posting up a look in which i have used this all over the lid along with other shades from the palette :)
  4. Lt. Bronze:  There that LT again :)  This is a stunning light goldy champagne shade its stunning for the inner corner of the lid I love it :)
  5. Pewter:  A Dark brown with a dark purply undertone I absolutely love this shade :)
  6. Garnet:  Another favourite :)  A rich coppery red shade absolutely stunning with gold and purples :)
  7. Deep Purple:  awwwww ok no point in me saying this is a favourite lol you all know I love my Purples :)  This is a fantastic and most used blackened purple with purple and red shimmers :) I love it :) This can be quite chalky and can leave you with some fall out but so worth the little clean up after using it :)
  8. Slate:  A very pigmented gunmetal shade :)

This is my most favourite look using Gold, LT Bronze, Garnet and Deep Purple :) and Cream on the Brow Bone
Ah sure let me show you one more look :) : using a mixture of both matte and shimmery :)
Is it worth the pennies/cents oh yes yes yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much so I want to try more of Lorac's products :(
Totally I am having so much fun with this palette alone I will nearly need another one soon lol
This palette is actually working out a little cheaper than the UD naked and to be honest I would repurchase this palette quicker than the UD :)
Its amazing and if you can get your lovely little hands on it grab it like its the last piece of chocolate you will ever see :)
Have you tried The Lorac Pro Palette yet ???
Until next time

Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Color Lipsticks in Wine Room, Pinkerbell & Purty Persimmon

Hey my Fabulous beauties How are you all doing today :) :)
Well now I dont have to get into the whole story of telling you how much I LOVE Wet N Wild as I have at this stage reviewed quite a few of their products and they all have been positive of course :) :) The only negative thing about Wet N Wild is that its not available in the EU including here in Ireland Boooooo :( Awwww could you imagine my collection if it was here I would be another Diva Makeup Queen golly I would just love to see her Wet N Wild Collection I bet she has every last item every sold by them :) :) Lucky Girl
Anyways I have already reviewed some shades from the Wet N Wild Megalast Lip Color Collection if you missed out on that click here to see my review.  Since getting the last 3 shades I just couldnt resist buying 3 more to try out and today I shall show you my 3 lastest new shades :)
There are 26 shades of these lipsticks available so I am sure this is not going to be the last of the bunch that I will purchase ;)
As I have told you in my last review I absolutely adore these lipsticks
They are Creamy, soft, so so so so so so so (ok nina enough so's lol) Pigmented :)
Everytime I use these lipsticks I still get a shocking surprise by them as they are so so so affordable
There is a shade for everyone and I mean everyone :)
They are literally a dream come true in my eyes :)
What more do you really want.  These Lipsticks contain no shimmer and they are matte with a semi matte finish you may find some of the shades a little heavier to apply than others but you can still work with them :)
So on with the New shades I got :)
Wine Room:  This shade surely has the right name :)  This is a stunning berry shade it also has a little red undertone to it :) Wow oh Wow is this shade pigmented and glides on like an absolute dream.  Oh I just love this and It will surely suit every skin tone as you can wear it light or heavy Love it :)
Next shade up is....
Pinkerbell:  I actually thought this was going to be a baby pink but its more of a baby pink with a coral undertone to it.  This is stunning and will be perfect for Summer its bright cheerful and stunning on.  I can see this suiting all you blonde girlies out there ;) but its stunning on everyone even us fair skinned Irish Gals.  This gives a lovely semi matte finish and feeling moisturising on the lips :)
And Lastly......
Purty Persimmon:  This is one lipstick that will get you noticed and thats for sure :)  Another wonderful summery shade comes your way :)  This will be stunning on its own with a neutral eye.  The shade is a very bright orangey red and very very pigmented.  Beautiful
As you can see yourself these lipsticks are to die for and I have no fault whatsoever with them infact im already planning to buy more hehehe shhhhhhhh I know I have more than enough lipsticks but hey for the price they are you just cant pass them :)
Have you tried any of these lipsticks yet?
Any shades so far you like?
Until Next time
