Famous X First Date Blush in Angelina & Scarlett

Hello everybody how are you all doing today :)
Well the sun is shining and the kiddies is outside and I had a very productive day taking lots and lots of photos of products for future reviews :)  I love having them days :)
So I am in a super dooper form and ready for my next review which is on the First Date Blushes by Famous X.  If you are a regular to my blog you will know Famous X if not check out my other reviews to get familiar with it :)
If there is one thing I love about Famous Cosmetics Products its the packaging..... Just look at this packaging isnt it to die for :)  Like for the price I can safely say that in person the packaging makes it look like you have paid 3 time more than what you have paid.
I was so so excited to try these as they were only £4.99 for a whopping 7.5g of product.
It is a little hard to detect the exact shade on the site but I ended up picking the 2 shades that appealed to me more
Just look at the size of the mirror you get with these :) who need compact mirrors when you have these babies :)
When you get the blushes they are covered in a removable plastic covering which is great for hygiene but once you take that off that it no cover which i dont mind.
Let me go ahead and show the shades :)
First we have:
Angelina:  This is my favourite out of the two.  Oh boy is this one pigmented lol the first time i tried this i dipped my brush a little too hard and i ended up looking like a clown :)  So a little bit of advice for you all please use with caution hahahaha.  This is a very very pretty Deep rosey pink shade and nice warm toned blush that gives a fantastic pop of colour to ones cheeks.  Not only that but its matte :) :) I believe this will suit every skin tone because it is quite build able but for anyone who has fair skin PLEASE USE A LIGHT HAND :)  I do find you need to work a little bit more than normal blush to blend this but its oh so worth it I promise
Scarlett:  This is a lovely dusty rose shade.  I have to say this is more on the chalky side you will have a little more fall out with this that Angelina even though this is easier to work with as in blending that Angelina.  This is hugely pigment again use with caution.  This is the perfect blush for winter especially.  Again this shade is matte but it tends to leave you with a beautiful glow.
I do like this shade but i find that it can make a mess while your using it because of its chalkiness
The above picture is of both blended out as you can see you can apply as lightly as you can and build them up to the intensity of the first swatch picture and even stronger.
So let me lay it down to you the good and the bad

The good
Affordable
Amazing packaging
Amazing amount of product
Super pigmented
Beautiful shades
6 - 8 hours lasting power

The bad
Scarlett is very chalky
Angelina needs a little more work blending out but nothing to complain about
I am wearing a little Angelina on the cheeks in this photo
Over all I am pleased with what I got for my money.  I have to admit I have very little patience for Scarlett as it makes too much of a mess and I feel I am loosing more product than I am using so I will not be repurchasing that one but Angelina is a stunning shade not as chalky and looks amazing.  I will purchase another shade to try out soon so I will add the swatches here when I do
For £4.99 you cant go wrong and these blushes will last forever (well ok not forever but for a very very very long time)
Have you tried any of these blushes yet ?
Until Next Time

MUA Bronzed Perfection Review

Well hello there my fantastic gorgeous readers
How are you this fine Monday :)
I hope you all had a great weekend :)
Today I bring to you my review on the MUA Bronzed Perfection Bronzer :)
I have been dying to get my hands on this ever since it was released simply because I heard it was a matte bronzer and to be honest I prefer matte bronzers quicker than shimmery ones.  Plus I liked the way MUA described it and I just had to see for myself.
Bronzed Perfection is lightly frosted, tinted powder that gives skin sheer, natural colour effects and highlights. Ideal for enhancing skin tones or to accent or strengthen a tan and is perfect for sculpting your face to perfection! Formulated to provide a smooth, even application on all skin types.
There is only one shade of this available and it costs only £3 for a whopping 15g of product how could you pass that.  The worrying part of buying an affordable bronzer is the shade of it because 9 time out of 10 when you buy an affordable bronzer it turns out to be orange or muddy.  So did this pass for me??? read on to find out :)
Ok lets start off with the packaging :)  As you can see by the photos its simple and cheapish looking with a clear lid so you can see the shade but it is sturdy and at least the lid is not flimzy.
On the bronzer itself has nice imprints on the word bronzed on it which i like as it make it look like you have paid more than you did for it.
This is a perfect bronzer for fair to medium skin tones.  What i noticed when i did opened this is you will notice a tiny amount of shimmer but when swatched all you get is a matte payoff.  I think the shimmer is there for what MUA states "The natural effects and highlights"
Another thing I noticed was the bronzer is a little on the chalky side now its nothing to give out about believe me but just so I can let you all into every detail ;) but just a word of warning to use a light hand while using it or you will pick up too much product.
I absolutely love the colour payoff of this.  Its neither muddy or too orange and gives you a nice day time bronzed look.
I use this mostly for contouring in the day time or if I dont want to use a blush i simply sweep a little of this on the cheeks.  I love the payoff and I love the fact that you can build it up to the coverage you want.  Application takes very little effort but a little more effort than say my Sleek contouring kit.  It simply needed a little more blending out.  I found the lasting power to be great it was about 6 hours on before I noticed it fading a little but you could get away it wearing it all day without feeling you need to touch up.
I think its a great everyday bronzer and for the price you can not go wrong.  Put it this way you will have it a long time before it runs out with the size of it lol
Here is a picture of me wearing just the bronzer and no blush.
Please excuse my tired looking eyes I had a crazy crazy week and exhaustion was hitting me :)
So overall I am very pleased with this.  I like the finish as I do look nice and healthy not over over done with the sun kissed glow :)
If you are looking for an everyday bronzer or something to suit your fair or medium skin tone this is for you :)
Until next time

Product Rave: Pixy's Spa Fresh Shower Mousse

Hello My beautiful readers.  How are you all today :)
Well I am sure you can guess by the title that this is already going to be a positive review :)
I love that I love coming across reviews that I know will be good even before I read them but I still like to find out why and whats so good about it.
I am sure you remember me talking about the Brand Pixy before but if you are a new comer it is basically an Irish brand/company who sells pure and natural beauty products.
"We only use nature's best in all our beauty products including moisturising shea butterand healing vitamin E oil to leave your skin soft and supple. We use essential oils, for their amazing fragrance - some energise you, others bring you back in harmony to calm you and soothe away the stress. Pixy is sheer indulgence leaving your skin glowing and renewed.
On top of all that our fizzing bath bombs, soaps, vibrant shower mousses and beauty gift sets are affordable so everyone can join in! "
I have tried their Bath bombs and their cleansing mud which i absolutely love :) check out my reviews on them here
When I first laid eyes on these at the Beauty show this year I instantly fell in love.  They look amazing and smell amazing but at the time did not buy any.  Since been told about them I was determined to try one so I ordered it a couple of weeks ago and instantly fell in love.
There are 5 scented shower mousses to choose from
Strawberry which contains Vitamin E oil and Jojoba Oil To nourish the skin
Pineapple which contains Rich butters and almond oil to leave your skin smooth and soft
Cocoa which contains Shea Butter and Apricot Oil to soften and enrich your skin
Lime Sorbet(new) which contains Lime and lemon myrtle essential oils make brighten your day and make you feel fresh all over
and lastly Spa fresh which I will talk about more
Each jar contains a show pouffe which is brilliant and very handy even to bring on travel.
You are getting 300mls of product for 12.95 euro which in my eyes is well worth it believe me.
It warns you on the site to be careful while having this in the shower as the container is glass and to be honest they are right as its a very fragile glass very thin and if it did by any chance fall it will surely smash on the first fall.  This jar is actually very light weight even though it looks big which is great from travelling just make sure if you are bringing this on travel to wrap it up amongst your clothing so that if your bag falls it will not break.
another thing I noticed is that once you open this and the pouffe is released you will have to keep the pouffe separate to keep the jar sealed if you try to put pouffe back in it will spring up and the lid will come off so wait until you have used it a while before placing it back in.
To use you simply dip the pouffe on top of the mousse make sure not to dig in because you will take up too much.  A little goes a long long way in the above picture you will see the amount of the pouffe and that literally does your whole body because once in contact with your wet skin this amount lathers up something serious I couldnt believe it myself.  Oh boy ladies and gent the moment you apply this to your body its like rolling around on cotton wool.  It feels AMAZING!!!!! Its so soft and the scent is released straight away.  HEAVEN!!!!!
Spa Fresh smells absolutely devine.  Spa Fresh contains primrose and peach kernel oils to leave your skin soft and supple.  I actually can not describe the scent but I can tell you that it sort of reminds me of soap they made years ago the soap my mum used to buy when I was a kid.  I think it was actually the Palmolive Soap the green one.  It reminds me so much of that.
So every time I have a shower with this it brings me back to my childhood :) :)
Awwwww If you want to smell extra clean this is surely the one to go for.
:) I love it :)
The best thing about this is when i usually step out of the shower my body instantly feels dehydrated as i suffer with dry skin but with this I didnt feel the need to moisturise even though I still do anyway.  Also the scent lingers on the skin for the most part of the day which is brilliant.  Even now as i sit here typing this I am sniffing my arm and am in bliss :)
I Absolutely adore this product and I plan to stock up on more scents for sure I have already cleared an area on my dresser from them lol
Have you ever tried these if not why not believe me you will love them :)
I hope you enjoyed my review
Check out the Pixy Website for these :) Pixy also ships internationally and there is free shipping  to all Irish customers :)
Until Next Time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

ELF Pressed Mineral Eyeshadows in Beauty Queen, Lunch Break & What's Your Name

Well Hello there fancy meeting you here :) :) ;) ;)  How have you been :) :)
Well sure look it if i started telling you how I feel there would be no point in reviewing these because the post would go on forever lol
So in one word I feel Superdeedooper :) :)
So I decided when I was shopping on the on ELF site that I would pick up a few of the Newish Pressed Mineral Eyeshadows to try them out.
There is shades available and they cost £3.50 each for 3g of product.
I couldnt wait to try these out because I love the Mineral Pigment Eyeshadows they are so pigmented and fun to use but they can get messy and I do tend to leave them to one side because of that but when I found out they were doing pressed mineral eyeshadows i thought wahoo same formula, pigment ? but pressed I had to try
So lets just say the packaging of these eye-shadow impressed
Ok the box is not what you call expensive looking but sure your going to be throwing that out so hey
The packaging on the eye-shadow is very impressive in fact it looks very like the MAC Eye-shadow packaging and I actually questioned if they were the same size but no they are not e.l.f mineral eye-shadows are double the size
I have to say I am well impressed with how soft these eyeshadows feel.  Plus after swatching them I found no chalkiness which is a great start :)
I did find them to be very pigmented even the lightest shade to swatch.  So lets move on to the shades
First up is "Beauty Queen" is the lightest shade out of the lot and its a nice creamy beige shade a perfect blending shade or even a perfect lid shade its also perfect for under the brow and even on the tops of yous cheek bones for a nice glow. The finish is semi-matte but veering more to matte.  You will find this to be a little powdery when applying to the eyes but you will have little to no fall out.  This is a perfect wake my eyes up shadow and if you are one who has a busy life and no time to spend in the mornings to do your makeup simply apply this to the lid and it instantly makes you look awake and fresh.
Next up is "Lunch Break" This is a nice medium brown with a more satin finish.  I experienced no fall out what so ever with this shade.  Its perfect for everyday looks.  I like to use this in the crease for a little definition.  When blended out you get a nice golden brown
And Lastly "What's Your Name"  This is a beautiful shade a nice taupe mauve shade which has a satin finish.  I love purply shades so i was excited about this straight away.  I did find this to be sheer It needed building up to come out on the swatches pictures.  With a good primer it works and looks great
To be honest I did find I had to work with these longer to create a simple everyday look.  Meaning it took alot a dipping of the brush and alot of blending to get a look I was happy with, without wetting the brush.  The eyeshadows are ok to work with but they work better when wet and of course more intense.  That's not saying they are not good and they would be well suitable for anyone starting out with makeup or anyone who likes simple everyday looks but with my experience in eyeshadows I find I will probably not reach for these as much as some of my eyeshadows I have in my collection.  The lasting powder is good when worn with a primer.
Here is a simple everyday look I created with these 3 shades to give you an idea of how they look.
I applied "Beauty Queen" to the inner 1/3rd of the lid and under the brow
I applied Lunch break to the outer half of the lid and blended both shades together and then applied What's your name in the crease and the same shades along the bottom lash line :) This photo is taken with a flash.
The next picture is taken in natural sunlight and you will see that "Beauty Queen" instantly makes my eyes look wide awake and believe me after the week I have had up until yesterday I needed that extra umph
This look is applied dry with primer
I definitely recommend you try them for the price they are not at all bad and I will try the other shades as I believe they are even more pigmented.  I do prefer to apply these wet for more of an intense look even in day time I had a lovely experience with them when applying them as they felt amazing on the skin they are smooth and silky and feel really comfortable to apply which I love.
Have you tried these yet
Whats your thoughts on them :)
Until next time

ELF Mineral Lip Liners Review and Swatches

Hey my beauties :)
How are you all doing today :)
Wow this morning started very wet rainy and wintery and now as i type this blog post the sun is shining and the mood in the house is alot livelier :)
My weekend has been a little cray cray!!!!
Especially yesterday with my son turning 6 we went away for the day and had a ball
What was your weekend like :)
Oh let me tell you I have just had my first ever interview on someone elses blog :)  I was so nervous but the questions were so so easy to answer and I love the post :) Check it out if you have time :)
Anyways enough with the blabbing and onto the reason you clicked the link in the first place lol Todays review is on a long time favourite of mine the ELF Mineral Lip Liners.  I have been using these for the past 2 years now so I think Its about time I reviewed them for you :)  You know what its like when you take something too much for granted as you use it so often and then realise oh my goodness I havent reviewed this yet !!! And no its not because I want to keep them to myself lol its just because I have had them and used them for so long I just never thought about it I was too busy reviewing new items I bought and tried :)
I absolutely love the mineral line by e.l.f ( eyeslipsface)  I have every last one of their lipsticks ( THEY ARE HALF PRICE AT THE MOMENT ON THE UK SITE BTW) which i think are amazing they are long lasting creamy soft and feel amazing on the lips :)
The Lip Liners are just as good.
Create definition that ís soft, natural and brilliant. The gentle glide formula gives consistent color without tugging or sharpening for a beautiful enhanced look. 100% mineral based with no parabens, no preservatives and no chemical dyes.
Each lip liner comes in a plastic pencil like form which are nicely slim.  One of the best thing about these lip liners is that they are twistable which means no sharpening wahoo I love that .
I have all four shades in my collection but I would love a red :) :)
Each lip liner only cost £3 each which is more than a bargain for what you are getting believe me :)
Starting with the shades I own :)
  • Brown:  The name speaks for itself :)  It is a nice medium brown shade.  It is suitable for Anyone with fair to medium skintones.  Anyone who is a darker skintone will find this to be more of a nude lip liner.  I have to admit when buying this I was worried it was going to be too dark on me but it isnt at all dark and looks stunning on the lips
  • Rose:  This is my favourite and is always in my handbag.  I especially love this shade all over the lips for the days I do not want to touch up that much.  This is a beautiful Rosey brown shade and suitable for all skin tones I just love it I think its a perfect shade for anyone and it compliments every skin tone but more fair to medium skin tones in particular.  On darker skin tones its a My Lips But Better shade stunning :)
  • Raisin:  This is a stunning Mauve rose shade.  You can build this as deep as you want its beautiful I have to say and would look extra stunning on anyone with a darker skin tone.  It is very pigmented and can look very dark on anyone with fair skin if used all over the lips but applied lightly this is beautiful :)
  • Peachy:  Oh boy this shade is absolutely perfect for Spring/Summer months.  This is a peachy coral shade nice a bright and full of life  :)   I love it full stop :)
The Lip Liners are applied all over the lips in the Lip swatches and the photos are taken in Sun light

Over all I love these Lip Liners.  For the price you are getting more than your moneys worth.  The consistency of these liners are creamy and smooth yet not overly smooth which means they last longer on the lips.  I found they didnt or dont dry my lips out but if you do suffer with dry lips simply apply a light coat of balm before you apply them if you are wearing them all over the lips.  I actually prefer wearing these all over the lips as a long lasting colour for the day and I find they last a good 5 hours before I need to apply either a lipstick or anything over them.  I do like to top the liners with a bit of gloss just for the extra va voom :)   The best thing about them is that they are matte.  That means they are not as transferable as some lipsticks and they just look awesome on the lips.  I actually do not have one bad thing to say about these and give them full marks in every way :)
I highly recommend these to everyone you will not be disappointed :)
In the above picture I am wearing raisin all over the lips
So I hope this helps you out a little and I really hope e.l.f brings out more shades as I will be the first one to buy them all lol
Until Next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

Pretty Smooth Nose Pore Strips Review :)

Hey My beautifuls how are you all today :)
Wow the sun is shining bright and everyone is in great form which is lovely to see :)
Today's Review is on the Pretty Smooth Nose Pore Strips I bought in my local pharmacy
Now let me tell you all I am a nose strip virgin.
Never have I ever tried anything like this before I usually do it the old fashioned way by steaming my face and them washing my face with my face cloth which is pretty effective doing this too often dries out my face alot.
Plus curiosity got the better of me and I just had to get them to try them :)
Now I did ask you all on facebook the day i tried these would you all like to see a blog post on it with pictures you all agreed and said that you would like to read and see :)
So if you have in any way got a sensitive tummy do not look at the last photo :) :) :)
Now I have never heard of the company Pretty Smooth before I have tried goggling it and there is no website but the company it is produced by is Quest Brands which do have a website (Thank Goodness) They are said to be One of the industry’s largest manufacturers of disposable care products.  They sell wax strips, nose strips, cotton buds etc.  They actually remind me of a pound store or cheap store you would find in your super market.
It is an English based Company and they do Post Internationally.
So these nose strips cost me a whopping 3.99 euro for 6 strips in total which is not bad :)
As you can see you get 6 strips individually wrapped in foil nice and hygienic :)
When you open up one of them you will get the nose strip stuck on some clear plastic
Of Course you also get very very clear instructions on how to use the nose strip which I was delighted with because what i would have done is just stick this baby and probably done more damage than anything so please make sure to follow all instructions :)
So on my no makeup day I went ahead and tried this baby out packed up of curiosity and nerves sort of lol
As you will tell by my face :)
Please excuse the no make up face hehehehe
so how did I get on with these :)
Hmmmmm I was pretty darn disgusted with the results lol lordy my nose
The first time I tried them I didnt apply enough water to my nose area so when i went to peel the nose strip off it hurt badly oh my word I thought I was pulling the skin with it.  So please please make sure to apply a generous amount of water on the nose before applying the strip :)
2nd time around was alot better and boy oh boy the result was surprising in all fairness I have to admit These strips done their job right.  It was kinda gross seeing the result on the strip but to be honest I was delighted as it too all from the root it looked like what one of my FB readers described it as "Kiwi hairs Standing" lol
ok now for the evidence scroll further down if you do not wish to see this :)
NASTY!!!!!!!
Over all I am impressed with the nose strip When used right it takes out most of the black heads but I did notice there was some left behind.  I can safely say it too 70% of them which is fine with me.  You are left with a smooth nose area but also left with pores wide open which i didnt like and which someone else on FB stated does happen.  Open pores = dirt makeup etc going into them = spots and more blackheads but i have the solution for that.....  Rinse your face off with cold water then apply and ice pack aka a page of frozen veg or something like that and hold it to your nose area for about 2 to 3 minutes.  It quickly closes up your pores and your face is ready :)
I am well impressed with the results and It is surely making me want to try out other brands to compare.  My nose looks more smooth and blackhead free I love it :)
Have you ever tried Nose strips before ?
How was your experience with them.
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

You can get these from Amazon for £2.96 or on Ebay

I love love love hearing from you all :) I make it my duty to read each and every one of you comments and every time i get a comment from you it highlights my day thanks so so much to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
