Nima Mitt Review

Hello My beauties :) How are you all today :) 

Well let me begin by asking you all a question

Were you ever told something and found it to good to be true?  

Well let me tell you something thats exactly what happened to me when I got this particular product.  In fact I actually would have placed a bet that it wouldnt work more than it would.  

When I went to the Profession Beauty Show in Dublin a couple of months back I came across a very interesting stall.  NIMA Brush Stall was there in front of me I was so excited because I heard about NIMA but never tried their products before.   

NIMA Brush is a new Irish cosmetic brush company specialising in Professional Make Up tools.  NIMA Brush was established by long time Irish makeup artist, Niamh Martin, after over a decade working as a professional in the Irish and UK market. The aim was to provide fun, professional grade tools at low cost.

I met Niamh personally and let me tell you she is adorable :)  Her makeup that day looked absolutely stunning.  She talked about all brushes which all look absolutely amazing but there was on thing that stood out to me and that was The NIMA Mitt.  

I was curious to find out more about it and Niamh was very happy to tell me 

Niamh explained that the NIMA Mitt is an Eco Friendly Makeup Removal Mitt.  She added that you do not need soap or cleanse or anything like that to use it you basically use luke warm water.  Huh I hear you say?!  Same here to be honest I thought nah this mitt could not take off full makeup from your face without some sort of cleanser or something.  Even my sister who was with me wasnt sure about it.  To be honest most of the time its a pain trying to take a full face of makeup off where you have to go through the whole taking it off, washing your face, cleansing, toning and moisturising especially late at night and when you are so tired.  This mitt sounds like a dream come true.  

The NIMA Mitt is made up of tiny fibres (smaller than a human hair) that are closely woven and when wet with just regular tap water they can be swept over the skin to remove makeup, oil, grime - all that nasty stuff without causing any irritation to the skin.  
We all know that no matter what we use on our faces anything at any price will leave some sort of residue on our faces NIMA state that this little mitt frees us from that residue and allows us to use the most natural thing in the world to clean our faces WATER which is suitable for literally everybody in the whole world.  So anyone and I mean ANYONE can use this mitt and feel spotlessly clean afterwards.  

So of course I had to put this to the test straight away.  I had a normal everyday amount of makeup on me, foundation, concealer, bronze, blush, eyeshadow, my brows and of course waterproof mascara!!!!! 
The first thing I noticed was the feel of the mitt oh my goodness its ever so soft.  So time to test!!!!!
I basically soaked the mitt in warm water and started to massage my face with the mitt starting with my eyes of course and working my way around my face onto my neck.  All the time noticing how smooth and soft the mitt felt against my face.  Let me point out my face has been extremely senstive lately and I have been suffering with alot of break outs around my chin and mouth area (its horrible)  Plus my skin has no changed again from oily combination to dry combination.  Its literally playing games with me 

Well let me tell you all after doing one half of my face I instantly looked in the mirror to see what I would normally see during cleansing (panda eyes)  and I was shocked The makeup was literally gone from my face onto the mitt.  It left no trace of makeup whatsoever.  Mascara??? GONE :O

I have even taken a photo to show you the side I removed the makeup from I literally spent 15 seconds taking it off with the mitt please excuse the breakouts on the side I removed you can see clearly No Trace of Makeup I usually spend about 20 minutes or more on my face between removing my makeup washing cleansing toning etc.  30 seconds to remove all with this mitt.  I also cleansed and toned afterwards and to be honest I felt I did not need to because there was little to no 

I have also tried this mitt on heavy eye makeup and it does take off most of the eye makeup plus takes a little more time to remove makeup a couple of minutes more to do so but only a couple of minutes.   I did find it did need a slight help of eye makeup remover afterwards as I was wearing both waterproof eyeliner and waterproof mascara.    
It is also advised to clean the mitt simply use a bar of soap and wash with luke warm water and the makeup runs right off the mitt and is left as good as new.  Do not wash in the washing machine and do not use anything else to clean your mitt just soap.  That way you will not damage the mitt and it lasts alot longer.  

I highly highly highly recommend this to everyone I use it every single day now and my skin feels like its getting a good cleansing and most of all free from harsh chemicals.  The best invention thanks to NIMA .  I was absolutely shocked with how great this mitt works honestly you have to see it to believe it :)  
The best news is about to come THE PRICE !!!  The NIMA Mitt costs €12.95 to buy and should last if looked after well a good 6 months Now that is a bargain

AMAZING!!!!!!!!   Ladies if you are like me and dread the stage of taking your face off at the end of the day or come in from a night out and seriously haven't the energy to even look in the mirror you have got to have this mitt in your collection it takes 5 minutes to remove all your makeup and you can go to bed with the peace of mind that your face is cleansed and makeup free :) :)

Product Rave: Pixy's Spa Fresh Shower Mousse

Well I am sure you can guess by the title that this is already going to be a positive review :) 

I love that I love coming across reviews that I know will be good even before I read them but I still like to find out why and whats so good about it. 

I am sure you remember me talking about the Brand Pixy before but if you are a new comer it is basically an Irish brand/company who sells pure and natural beauty products.

I have tried their Bath bombs and their cleansing mud which i absolutely love :) check out my reviews on them here 

When I first laid eyes on these at the Beauty show this year I instantly fell in love.  They look amazing and smell amazing but at the time did not buy any.  Since been told about them I was determined to try one so I ordered it a couple of weeks ago and instantly fell in love.  

There are 5 scented shower mousses to choose from 

Strawberry which contains Vitamin E oil and Jojoba Oil To nourish the skin 
Pineapple which contains Rich butters and almond oil to leave your skin smooth and soft 
Cocoa which contains Shea Butter and Apricot Oil to soften and enrich your skin 
Lime Sorbet(new) which contains Lime and lemon myrtle essential oils make brighten your day and make you feel fresh all over
and lastly Spa fresh which I will talk about more 
Each jar contains a show pouffe which is brilliant and very handy even to bring on travel.  

You are getting 300mls of product for 12.95 euro which in my eyes is well worth it believe me.  
It warns you on the site to be careful while having this in the shower as the container is glass and to be honest they are right as its a very fragile glass very thin and if it did by any chance fall it will surely smash on the first fall.  This jar is actually very light weight even though it looks big which is great from travelling just make sure if you are bringing this on travel to wrap it up amongst your clothing so that if your bag falls it will not break.  
another thing I noticed is that once you open this and the pouffe is released you will have to keep the pouffe separate to keep the jar sealed if you try to put pouffe back in it will spring up and the lid will come off so wait until you have used it a while before placing it back in.  

To use you simply dip the pouffe on top of the mousse make sure not to dig in because you will take up too much.  A little goes a long long way in the above picture you will see the amount of the pouffe and that literally does your whole body because once in contact with your wet skin this amount lathers up something serious I couldnt believe it myself.  Oh boy ladies and gent the moment you apply this to your body its like rolling around on cotton wool.  It feels AMAZING!!!!! Its so soft and the scent is released straight away.  HEAVEN!!!!!

Spa Fresh smells absolutely devine.  Spa Fresh contains primrose and peach kernel oils to leave your skin soft and supple.  I actually can not describe the scent but I can tell you that it sort of reminds me of soap they made years ago the soap my mum used to buy when I was a kid.  I think it was actually the Palmolive Soap the green one.  It reminds me so much of that.
So every time I have a shower with this it brings me back to my childhood :) :) 
Awwwww If you want to smell extra clean this is surely the one to go for.  
:) I love it :) 

The best thing about this is when i usually step out of the shower my body instantly feels dehydrated as i suffer with dry skin but with this I didnt feel the need to moisturise even though I still do anyway.  Also the scent lingers on the skin for the most part of the day which is brilliant.  Even now as i sit here typing this I am sniffing my arm and am in bliss :) 
I Absolutely adore this product and I plan to stock up on more scents for sure I have already cleared an area on my dresser from them lol

Product Rave!!!! Lorac Pro Palette

Hello my Fantastic Readers.  How are you all doing today :) 

Well the post in particular will be an absolute Pleasure and I mean PLEASURE to talk about.  Plus its a long awaited review by some of you dying to know what palette i have been raving about.  I have been so busy playing with this palette it took over me writing about it lol my apologies :) 

I have been posting up a few looks lately on facebook that i have tried with this palette and each time you have all loved how the eyeshadow look so I am now revealing the palette of my dreams.  I have even stated that this palette has taken over the love I have had for my Urban Decay Naked Palette.  Do not get me wrong I still love the UD Palette but I have to admit i have played with this palette more than the UD which says alot in my eyes :) 

I have been wanting to get this palette for a very very very long time and first seen it on Its Judy time and Emily Noels youtube and they rave about it.  But to be honest its very very very hard to get it and yes it is on ebay but its been too expensive to purchase because in America its one of the top sold palettes.  So I was beginning to give up any hope until one day I was chatting with a lovely American friend who said she had no problem posting it to me I was super dooper excited and thank you so much hunny Love you :) :) Let me tell you right here right now If you have any American friends or anyone going over to America for a trip make sure to ask them to get you this Palette cause Gurlllllllllll you will fall in love !!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I knew I was going to ramble and I am very sorry but when I rave about something I tend to go on about it lol but you love me really dont you ;) ;) ;)

Awwwww ladies and gents and all you makeup lovers this palette is amazing and I love love love using it 

Ok lets get the whole packaging and price and stuff out of the way before I show you the shades I will be really quick i promise

The packaging is a fantastic professional looking packing and the feel of it is somewhat lip the Nars packaging its actually hard to explain but the nearest explanation I can think of is it sort of feels rubbery and while you have this in your hand unlike some palettes because of the rubbery effect you have no fear of this baby slipping out of your hand it gives you a good grip of it.  This is a perfect palette for make-up artists as it does look so professional.  The palette comes with a primer just like the Naked palette even tho i have to admit I prefer the UD primer over the Lorac one.  The Lorac primer is good but I have found it to be more sheer and a little more water based that the UD Primer.  Now to show you whats inside this beautiful palette :) 

As you can see it comes with a very good sized mirror which is hand for travelling :) 

It doesn't come with any applicators in which I don't mind as its more room for the shadows ;) 

The price of this palette in America is around the $40 price mark which is about 30 euro :) 

The Urban Decay palette here costs around 35 euro here so its around the same value in money.

The Lorac Palette comes with the total of 16 shades of eye-shadows (WOW) and half of those eye-shadows are Matte !!!!!!!! The other half is shimmery

The Urban Decay Palette comes with 12 shades and only 2 of them are matte !!!

 Let me tell you now these shades are amazing.  This is a perfect Neutral palette filled with lots of choices in looks for day and of course night.  You also have a choice to go matte all the way or shimmer all the way or even a mixture of both.  

The shadows feel so creamy and soft.  What amazed me more is the pigmentation and the colour payoff from each of these shadows i mean NOT ONE SHADE IS A LET DOWN THEY ARE ALL SUPER PIGMENTED 

Dont get me started about how blendable each one of them are oh my goodness they are amazing and so easy to blend :) 

There is a couple of shades in this palette that are a little on the chalky side and you will end up loosing a little of that shade each time you use it but hey it cant be 100% perfect can it :) 

Now for the shades :) 

This is the top row which are the Matte Shades :) 

1. White:  Is not exactly matte but is near enough there is a tiny bit of microshimmer in it but nothing noticable once you apply it.  I was surprised at how pigmented soft and oh so beautiful this shade is.  
2. Cream:  I love this shade for the brow bone for the inner corners of my eyes and for blending again very pigmented for a light shade 
3. Taupe:  This is perfect for the crease for your brows for anything really A nice medium brown shade that you will always find use for 
4. Lt. Pink:  This shade is stunning I presume LT. stands for light but if anyone knows what its stand for let me know its kinda bugging me lol.  This is a stunning light pink shade perfect for lid perfect for inner corner or even for the crease when your going for the purple pink look :) 
5. Mauve:  I love this very light to medium Mauve shade I have used this in the crease for far for one of my looks and its gorgeous 
6. Sable:  A Beautiful Brown with red undertones to it again a stunning shade 
7. Espresso:  Well th name speaks for itself a very pigmented Dark Brown 
8. Black:  A perfect pigment black :) 

Wow oh wow these mattes are amazingly pigmented and so easy to work with as its hard to find really easy to work with matte that dont take forever to blend i feel totally blessed I have this palette :)  Just to give you an Idea of how good these matte shades look and work well together I will post up one of the looks I have tried out with Just matte shades from this palette :) "Remember I am not a makeup artist I just looooovvvveee makeup" 

In this look I used White all over the lid, Mauve in the crease and Sable for a little definition and a little Espresso on the outer corner.  

Next up is the bottom row which are the lovely shimmery shade :) 

1. Nude:  A Lovely shimmery cream/pink shade perfect for a highlight or for the inner corner or for a lid colour to open up those tired eyes :) 
2. Champagne:  A Lovely shimmer cream shade I have used this shade alot in my looks so far :) 
3. Gold:  This is a beautiful very pigmented shimmery gold I love this shade and have also used this alot since i got the palette this shade only takes a little to go a long way :) I will be posting up a look in which i have used this all over the lid along with other shades from the palette :) 
4. Lt. Bronze:  There that LT again :)  This is a stunning light goldy champagne shade its stunning for the inner corner of the lid I love it :) 
5. Pewter:  A Dark brown with a dark purply undertone I absolutely love this shade :) 
6. Garnet:  Another favourite :)  A rich coppery red shade absolutely stunning with gold and purples :) 
7. Deep Purple:  awwwww ok no point in me saying this is a favourite lol you all know I love my Purples :)  This is a fantastic and most used blackened purple with purple and red shimmers :) I love it :) This can be quite chalky and can leave you with some fall out but so worth the little clean up after using it :) 
8. Slate:  A very pigmented gunmetal shade :) 

This is my most favourite look using Gold, LT Bronze, Garnet and Deep Purple :) and Cream on the Brow Bone 

Ah sure let me show you one more look :) : using a mixture of both matte and shimmery :) 

Is it worth the pennies/cents oh yes yes yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much so I want to try more of Lorac's products :( 

Totally I am having so much fun with this palette alone I will nearly need another one soon lol 

This palette is actually working out a little cheaper than the UD naked and to be honest I would repurchase this palette quicker than the UD :) 

Its amazing and if you can get your lovely little hands on it grab it like its the last piece of chocolate you will ever see :)

MUA Pro Brow Kit

Hey my wonderful patience readers How are you all doing :) 

Finally my kiddies are on the mend awwwww its so exhausting and actually very distracting as you are constantly worried.  It was effecting me that much i made two of the same orders from a company in two different days last week.  That's so bad as I am usually on top of everything.  The joys of motherhood eh? 

Anyhoooo Todays review is on the New MUA Pro Brow Kit.  I was most excited to get this to try as I dont really own anything like this.  Usually I use either a normal eye shadow or my Mac eyebrow pencil in Lingering which I love.  So I liked the idea of having everything you need in one palette.  

The Packaging is a simply black plastic palette with a lift up lid.  Its so small and sleek and so handy to fit into your bag.  Its especially handy for travelling with which I love.  Inside you get a great sized mirror which is perfect when you are doing your brows.  I am in love with the fact that you can easily whip this little beauty out anywhere and get your brows done without having to bring brushes powder and separate brow gels.  

Also inside you are getting 2 brow shades a light and dark one matte of course

The dark one is perfect for me :) 

You are also getting a highlighter shade which is also matte 

and a setting gel which is clear 

your are also getting a double ended slanted brush 

and a mini teeny tiny slanted tweezers 

I could not wait to but this to the test and I love that my packages come first thing in the morning just before I do my makeup so if i get new items I can put them to the test straight away hehehe 

So firstly I had a look for some strays which 9 times out of 10 you always end up finding.  I have to admit the tweezers would not be suitable for a full on plucking your brows job as i do find it a little on the blunt side but it is actually quite good for taking away stray hairs. 

Then I used one side of the brush for the darker brow shade and noticed it a little powdery not too much but enough to create a little fallout so what I did was just tapped it off my hand and it was fine.  I was amazing at how pigmented this was you will only need a little to do each brow :) 

Then a applied the clear wax over my brow to set everything which i used with the other end of my brush and finally applied the highlight onto my brow bone for a lift. 

I was so happy with how quick i got my brows done with this little kit i mean it saves so much more time and effort because you have everything in one place.  :) 

I found this lasting me all day long and that is about 8 hours plus.  My brows never strayed even though I still love my Essence brow gel and will continue to use it but the gel on the palette is also good especially when travelling :) 

I am overall very impressed actually more than impressed with this kit.  Its just perfect in every way and has become and everyday use for me now actually since I got this kit I haven't touched my Mac brow Pencil so that says alot :).  

For only £3.50 this is more than a bargain and I am sure anyone who buys this will love it Well done again to MUA for yet another impressive new product :) 

I have actually puts the brow colours to the test on the eyes as-well as the other day I had an appointment and was in a major major hurry so instead of fishing out a load of products I used the shades in the kit I used the highlight shade all over the lid for instance wakeup look, the middle shade in the crease and the darker shade in the outer V It lasted all day long on my eyes I was especially surprised that the darker shade didn't fade at all and I found it so easy to blend the shade together which is also surprising as alot of matte shades can be hard to blend 

Here is a picture of the before and afters of just a simply quick look with me using only the brow kit My brows were literally very quickly done.  Now you will notice that i have used the before picture before but to be honest i still look this tired at the moment and my brows always look like this anyway lol 

**Also everything I used in this picture is what i got in my latest MUA haul most of which I have yet to review apart from the foundation and Concealer :) **
