Bourjois Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix Foundation

Hello My beauties I hope you are all well.  I am tending to sickly kiddies at the moment the poor things are running temperatures and have a chest infection awww the joys of the winter sicknesses :(.  Hopefully they will pick up soon as I hate to see them unwell.
You all know at this stage that I am a huge huge fan of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation I have been ever since seeing Sineady Cady's from The Makeup Chair review on it well over a year ago.  I always seem to go back to it even after taking a break to try different foundation. Then I heard early this year that the "old version" was been discontinued NOOOOOOOOOO . That day I went straight into Boots and stocked up on my shade  I got 3 bottles in total and was happy.  Of course when they ran out there was More panic!!!!! That ment I finally had to convince myself to try the New Bourjois Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix Foundation which made me edgy because to be honest once you are used to something its very hard to like another dont you agree!!!!!! Anyways I thought mmmmm I will give it a go after all Bourjois has been impressing me quite alot lately and hopefully the only thing they changed was the bottle and not the formula
To remind you what the only packaging looked like check the picture below

Well the first thing I noticed that changed was in fact the bottle to an even bottle in my opinion as it is now glass instead of plastic :)  It looks more presentable and more expensive looking :) :)
The pump is basically the same thank goodness as I love a foundation with a pump its so much more hygienic and more controllable.

Bourjois Say:
Bourjois’ new Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix foundation is enriched with a fruit therapy formula to enhance your complexion.

Apricot for radiance
Melon for hydration
Apple to protect your youth

It is also enriched with crystalline pigments to even out the complexion while letting in the natural light for that healthy looking glow.

I have to say I found the Foundation no different in scent I get a slight floral scent but nothing OTT and to be honest Its practically non existent when on the face which is a good thing as I hate any sort of cosmeticy scented products near my face or lips.
The consistency is a little more runny than the old version which in fact is nicer as it applies a lot better in my eyes.  I find I apply my foundation alot quicker than before.  I apply with my Blank Canvas Flat Top F20 Brush and its looks amazing either that or I use my amazing Beauty blender also from Blank Canvas

In the summer when i was all Tanned hence the word WAS I was in the shade 53 but with it been November my tan has faded a bit so I opted for the shade 52 which was my normal shade before the summer.
52 is the 2nd lightest shade in the range.  As you can see it has a yellow tone to it where as the older version had more of a neutral tone.
When i first applied this I found it to be way too pale for me.  It did oxidise a little but still looked very pale so the next time I applied it I mixed with with my near gone number 53 and its the perfect shade.  I know I will become paler in the winter so until then I will continue to mix :)
I found this absolutely lovely against my skin, very lightweight like as if I am not wearing any foundation at all.  I am still getting medium coverage from this foundation which is exactly what i wanted.  What I love more about this foundation is that it does not soak into my fine lines or large pores its amazing I love it :)

I also recommended this to someone last week and she has reported back saying she is in love with this too.
I absolutely love that this is giving me the healthy glow it promises because with the weather change and the heat in the house it has dried out my skin a little and I need that extra boost which is what I am getting :) :)
Another great thing about this foundation is that it photographs brilliantly even with flash photography :)
Here is a photo of my wearing the foundation without it been mixed

Here is a picture of it mixed with shade 53 using flash photography (This picture was actually taken by a professional photographer with a huge camera with a huge flash)  I am in the front row in the cream top :) :)

Overall I am very pleased with the foundation and glad to say there is not a huge difference made to the formula I highly recommend this to everyone to try.  Anyone that I recommended the foundation to has always reported back to me saying they love it.  For the price you are getting an amazing foundation which only needs a pump or a pump and a half to do the entire face.
You can purchase this foundation in most drugstores
and also from Boots.ie
For anyone who is looking for a foundation thats
Affordable
Medium coverage
Lightweight
Gives a natural looking glow
Long lasting
Easy to apply
Does not soak into fine lines and pores this is surely the one for you
The only downfall???? There is not enough shades to choose from.  The shades available would be suitable for pale and medium toned girls anyone with dark skin tones will be disappointed.  Hopefully that will change soon :)
Have you tried this foundation yet?
Until Next Time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

I love love love hearing from you all :) I make it my duty to read each and every one of you comments and every time i get a comment from you it highlights my day thanks so so much to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wet N Wild 8 Pan Eyeshadow Palette In Nude Awakening..... Naked Palette Dupe Alert

Hello My Gorgeous Readers How are you all today?
I am so so sorry for the lack of blog posts lately but I have a really good excuse.  I am trying to do up my house before Christmas painting, getting rid of unwanted items and of course trying to get storage set up and its alot of work especially when you have the normal everyday runnings of the house with 5 children.  Its really starting to get together now thank goodness so here I am with another review for you and I promise I will be more regular with my posts :) :)
Oh by the way I have a nice Little giveaway on my facebook page for any of you who fancy winning 2 of my favourite products Check it out here
Today I have a Urban Decay Naked Palette Dupe for you :)  A More affordable amazing palette :) :) of course from Wet N Wild :)   I am telling you the more products I get from this brand the more I want and love it.  Its such a pity Its not available anywhere else except America

Spring 2013 was an exciting time for all Wet N Wild fans when the company released 2 limited edition 8 pan palettes and I am delighted to have one in my collection.  The other palette is called "Going in the Wild".
Both palettes looked amazing but I just had to choose this one as you can not fail with a neutral palette plus the moment I seen it I thought Naked!!!!!!
TADAAAAAAAAAAAAA Aint it Purdyyyyyyyyyyyy :)

First of all let me just say I am loving the packaging.  Its a nice change from the typical black case they normally have for their eyeshadows .  Its bright cheerful and full of life :) :)
Nothing has change apart from that.

Ok let get on to these amazing shadows :) :) Starting with the left side

Browbone:  This shade is one you have to work with and is one of the less pigmented shades in the palette its a nice semi matte vanilla shade with tiny specks of shimmers.  This is a perfect highlight shade and lid colour.  The colour can be built up to a nice pigmented shade and does look amazing.  This is a Dupe of UD "Virgin" to be honest I do prefer Virgin as its alot more pigmented and alot more noticable

Eyelid:  This is a light bronze shade with shimmers.  This shade feels so so creamy and soft and gives a nice satin finish.  I found the pigmentation amazing from this shade and looks amazing ove Maybellines Color Tattoo in Bad to Bronze :) :) This is the dupe of UD "Sidecar"  There is not a huge difference between these two shades apart from maybe "Sidecar" bee a little more on the orange side

Crease:  This is the only Matte shade in the whole of the palette i'm afraid.  This is the perfect transition colour or even crease colour.  A perfect soft creamy matte brown I love it.  This is the dupe of UD "Buck"  Buck is a little darker than this shade but to be honest I prefer this shade

Definer:  A Deep Dark Brown with shimmers going This is the perfect crease and outer V shade.  The shimmers are literally unnoticeable if you did want to use it in the crease and let me tell you this shade is highly pigmented soft and blends amazingly.  This is the Dupe of UD "Dark Horse" again "Dark Horse" is a little darker than this shade but to be honest I prefer this shade as I find "Dark Horse" can be a little messy sometimes whereas this shade applies like a dream with no fall out

Next up is Right Hand side :) :)

Browbone:  Awwww I love love love this shade :) :)  This is a beautiful bronzey browns with a tint of pink going through it.  This is incredibly pigmented and feels smooth and cream.  Just love it.  This is the Dupe of UD "Toasted" Ok Toasted wins this time as its alot more deeper in shade but its not a bad match

Eyelid:  awwww another amazing shade.  A dark brown with a slight burgundy finish.  This feels smooth and creamy and blends amazing a little goes a long way :) :) This is the Dupe of UD "Hustle"  Again not a massive difference apart from the quality I find this shade better than hustle in the fact it feels smoother and creamier and applies like a dream

Crease:  A Stunning deep grey with silver shimmers.  The shimmers can be blended into nothing if used on the crease.  I did find this shade to be a little chalky and expect some fallout otherwise a great pigmented shade.  This is of course the Dupe of UD "Gunmetal" as you will see Gunmetal is alot deeper and pigmented but again not a bad match

Definer:  This shade is a Shimmer black the shimmers are chunky.  A little goes a long way as its hugely pigmented.  I did find you have to build this black to make it look black as when first applied it looks more like a very deep grey because of the shimmers.  This is the dupe of UD "Creep"  I have to say "Creep" wins me over because the black is alot more intense that this shade

Here is all the shades together and can I add that these swatches are made with no primer underneath

Here is the swatches of  the comparisions of the wet n wild nude awakening and the Urban Decay Naked Palette dupe shades :)
You will notices some of the shades are not exact but are close and then you will notice some of them exactly the same :)  All Swatches are made with no primer underneath

Here is a day time look using the Wet N Wild Nude Awakening

Overall I think Wet n Wild have done an amazing job on copying the Naked Palette and to be honest there is a few Shades in the Wet N Wild Palette I prefer over the Naked.  For a very affordable palette this has surely become another of my favourites and has been used alot since I got it.
Where to get this palette I hear you ask.  Well I got mine on Ebay, you just have to be lucky enough to catch a seller who is selling it at the right price or near it and you can also get both limited Edition Palettes on the Non Pariel Website where they are selling both palettes for $15 for a limited time only.
Have you tried this palette yet ?
Until Next Time

The Body Shop Give Joy Christmas 2013 Collection

Hello my beauties How are you all today :)
I was absolutely delighted to be invited to the launch of The Body Shop Give Joy Christmas 2013 collection in The store on Grafton Street Dublin.  As it was my first every Body Shop Event, I was bursting with excitement as the Body Shop is always filled with such amazing products.  From amazing Body Butters to beautiful body mists to stunning makeup products and lots lots more.  Before I start let me just warn you this post will be picture heavy :) :)
From the moment I walked into the store I felt warm cosy and of course over whelmed with the amazing presentation of the New Christmas Collection and boy oh boy the scent that filled the air was AMAZING.
The staff could not be smiling anymore than they were last night and might I add very very nice women.
I could not wait to browse around the store to see the new products and of course sample a bit.

But firstly let me tell you about the AMAZING and GENEROUS Thing The Body Shop is doing this Christmas.

Not only are they protecting the plant, supporting animal right supporting community fair trade which is creating jobs all over the world and also supporting education in the third world countries,  but they are now planning on raising £200,000 to help build 5 new schools in India Ghana, Honduras, Nepal and Northern India How??? By donating that money from the sales of all the Christmas stock so when you are buying a gift for someone for Christmas in The body Shop you are not only Making the person you bought the girt for Happy but you will also be helping The Body Shop raise that money to build them schools How seriously amazing is that???
There is so so so many Christmas goodies to choose from especially now that they have 3 additional scents for Christmas including Ginger Sparkle, Vanilla Bliss and Cranberry Joy and you have to smell them they are beautiful :) :)
There is so much to choose from that it would take forever to list on this blog post haha but one thing I can say you can find amazing gifts from as little as €10 even under :)

We also got a demonstration on a festive makeup look using the gorgeous 4 step smokey eyeshadow palette and also on The Sparkler which looked amazing on the model :) :)

Donna Gave a lovely talk on All the new products and about the plan to raise the £200,000 She was absolutely brilliant and made her way around everyone to have a chat and answer any questions.  Her co workers were all amazing too and even offered us free eyebrow threading in which I passed on but alot of girls at the event took the oppurtunity and I have to say each and every one of them were very happy with the result.  Another thing they offered was some fabulous Gingerbread men, cupcakes and Cranberry Juice which of course we all tried out.  I want the recipe of the Gingerbread men as they were beautiful haha

Thank goodness we were not buying anything because to be honest I would have blown my money on everything in the store.  The new scents smell amazing and I did try ou the Vanilla Bliss Shimmer Lotion on my hand and WOW not only did the lotion feel amazing but the tiny shimmers in the lotion left a beautiful sparkle on my skin Just imagine going out to all those Christmas Parties with a lovely tan and adding this lotion for a touch of softness and sparkle your tan would look amazing :)  To top the night off I got a chance to catch up with all my fello blogger friends which is always a treat I bumped into Adoreabubbles, Total Makeup addict, Karen from Lovelygirliebits, CherrySue, Doin' the Do, Girlfriday and many more.   Pictures below were taken by the Body Shop Team :)

We all received some gifts from The Body Shop as a thank you for coming but to be honest it was an honour to be invited When I got home I couldn't contain my excitement any longer and opened up the bag to see what I got.  One thing I have to say is nothing prepared me for what I was about to see in the bag.  I cant believe how generous The Body Shop was to give us such amazing gifts and I am very grateful and also very very excited to try them all out I already know I will love one of the Gifts which is The Body Butter Lollipop which contains 5 different scented body butters.  I have tried their Body Butters before and they are amazing but I will do a full review on them don't worry in fact i will be doing a review on all items very very soon.

Phew That was alot of photos lol :) :) Thanks again to the Team of The Body Shop for an amazing Evening and the amazing gifts.
What is your favourite product from The Body Shop
Will you be buying anything from the Christmas Range
Keep a close eye out from reviews on all the above items
Until next time
