NYX HD Studio Foundation - Sand Beige Review

Hey My Beauties How are you all?
Well Lately I have been trying out a few different foundations as i feel thats the hardest product to choose.  I think everyone out there has and still does have problems in find that perfect foundation, either that or will find the perfect foundation but not the perfect shade blah blah blah you know what i am talking about :)
This NYX HD Foundation has been on my wish list for god only know how long actually since i first seen Dyna's Random Blog review to be honest as she loves this foundation and always hypes about it and to be honest seeing her photos all the time confirms that its a good foundation.  Of course everyone is different and i just had to try this out for myself
So i finally took the crunch when Beauty Emporium a brilliant Irish (posts internationally) site was doing an offer on the NYX Foundation i think i got 20% off at the time so i grabbed that deal with great delight :) :)
The normal price of this foundation is roughly from around 15-18 euro and about $15 for a 1.26oz of product but it does all depend on where you get it from.  To all you Irish gals out there I am afraid this foundation is not for sale in stores in Ireland but can easily be bought from Beauty Emporium website or any online store who sells NYX products.
Ok so the packaging is pretty straight forward.  The tube is plastic but sturdy.  It comes with a good pump which dispenses just enough product to do your entire face.
What i find harder about buying foundation online is trying to choose the right shade and I think maybe that is why i took so long to get it.  Dyna's is roughly the same skin tone as me so with the help of her blog post and advice about the foundation i chose the shade "Sand Beige" Dyna says that shade is a little on the light side for her and she used two different shades and mixes them to make up her own preferred shade.
I have to admit "Sand Beige" is a tad bit light on me at the moment but i am happy with that because i can easily darken it with a little bronzer its better too light than too dark.  I do have a feeling the shade Medium could be a good match and i do plan on buying it soon so i will let you know :)
"Sand Beige" is definitely suitable for someone with a medium skintone with warm undertones.
As you can see by the swatch and the blended swatch its a very close match but i do find this pales me out a little but i love how its the closes match i have even gotten from a foundation...It really is.
The consistency of this foundation is light, its not thick but not watery.  I do find one pump of this does my whole face and it gives me a light to medium coverage.  The best thing about this foundation is that its buildable so you will end up having medium coverage in which i love.  I also love the finish you get from its.  You get a semi matte finish which i have never gotten either from any foundation i have used in the past and i have to say it looks amazing.
This foundation lasts all day long and i mean even without topping up with a compact HAPPY DAYS!!!! If you are oily i would say this will need a little compact work near the end of the day if you are wearing it from morning to night.
There is a light scent from this, the only way i can describe it is that its like lightly scented baby wipes.  I love the scent to be honest is sort of a fresh scent.
So I decided again to show you a before and after picture and let you decided how it looks on me :) To me I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION and the fact it photographs amazingly.  It looks so natural.
I highly recommend this foundation to everyone especially to those who like to take photos on a regular basis.  This doesnt wash you out at all and looks pretty darn good.  This is definitely on my favourite list.  Its also a pleasure to apply.
Have you tried this foundation yet?  What do you think of it?
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter
