Impress Limited Edition Halloween Nails

Hello my beauties I hope you are all well :)
Are you all looking forward to Halloween :)
I love it I think its great that we can all get creative with costumes nails and makeup without feeling we have went OTT :)
Sometimes the most things we concentrate on is the Costume and the Makeup and then forget to do the nails and end up doing a last minute job on the nails before running out the door.  Whats the typical last minute look for nails? It has to be of course Black.  Well Impress has fixed that problem for use by creation their limited edition Halloween false nail selection.  Now I mean this will literally do for a last minute job as there is no glue needed for these bad boys :)
They have created 6 different styles of Halloween nails which is bound to suit every costume out there :) :) and because they are limited edition they are half the price the normal range costs which means you can get these for €4.99 each BARGAIN :) :)
I was never one for false nails as I do have long nails myself but of course my nails have taken some battering in my time.  With of course been a mum of 5 I use my hands all the time so no matter how much I try to look after my nails I still cant have them as perfect as I want.  I think I have stayed clear of false nails because of the time and effort you have to put into putting them on with glue filing etc but with these you dont have to worry about that :)

First of all let me show you what I mean by effortless :)

Too good to be true right ?  Well its not these actually work out the way it says on the diagram :) :)  You can literally have these on you nails within 5 minutes :)

Whats more it says on the package that if these nails are applied as directed they will last for 1 week.  Now obviously I was not expecting that been a mum who washes dishes fills fires scrubs the house but for those who do not do that I can safely say I would believe they would last at least half of that time :) :)  I found they fell of my nails slowly after 2 days of wear :)

I also love the packaging on these :)  The False nails come in a plastic bottle shaped like a nail polish which is handy for storage reasons.

So Far I have used 2 of these packs and both look amazing on the nails.  Since wearing them I have had a few people ask me where I got them done and when I told them they were actually false they couldnt believe it.
The only fault I would find with them is that You have to have pretty good sized nail beds for them otherwise you are going to find it hard to get the perfect fit on you.  My nail beds are perfect for them but when I tried apply some on my oldest daughters nails who has smaller nail beds it was a massive struggle.  They kept falling off her nails.  Apart from that they are brilliant.
Each nail design Has their own names :)
Midnight black Which are a simple black design :)
Total Witch Is one of my favourites :)

After Midnight has black tips and red roses (which is the last set of nails on the first picture)
Supernatural are black nails with spooky green eyes.
Rager is a bright orange and look amazing
Lastly is Hot Blooded another favourite of mine which has skulls and cobwebs on them :)

These nails are available in leading pharmacies in Ireland aswell as Dunnes Stores I also see that they are available in Rite Aid in America :) :)

Check out Impress Nails Ireland on Facebook For more details on their Limited Edition Nails.  I really hope they come out with some exciting nails for Christmas ;)
I hope you enjoyed my review :)
Until next time

Ziaja Natural Olive Skincare Review

Hello My beauties :)  I apologise for been so quiet lately life has been chaotic lately since the kiddies started school and the twins been the last babies have started school too I have been taking advantage of my time to finally do what i have been dreaming of doing and that is doing up my home :)  You know how it is when you have small kiddies your home is a wrecking ground and of course you have to let kids be kids.  As they are growing up and know a little more responsibility I can finally lay down some rules and make my home into a nice warm cosy home with lots of pictures all over :)
I also have started freelancing a little which took some time for me to build the confidence to do so and I am loving it :)  Its an amazing feeling doing someones makeup and they walking out the door smiling and confident :) :)
So this my little catch up chat for you all :) :)

Now down to my review :)
Ziaja is a brand I have never tried before, I have heard alot of good things about their products in the past year but never got round to trying them out until the last meetup I was at I got these items in a goody bag.  I got down to trying them out straight away and since them I havent stopped :)

Ziaja Skincare is orginaly from Poland.  This company works hard to give us the best quality products from a low cost price and with the best ingredients for our skin.  I do not know about you but to me that is pretty darn amazing :)  I myself have always wanted the best for my skin and been that little bit older like the thoughts of natural !!! anything natural is good for you.  I do see the benefits on my own skin when I do go natural and thats what I find important.  Sometimes or more alot of times natural skincare products can be costly and been a mum of 5 I cant possible hand over alot of money for skincare products.  Thank fully there are very few brands out there who take that into consideration.  Ziaja is one of those brands :) :)
So let me show you the products that I have tried and let you know what I think :)

Ziaja Natural Olive Micellar Water:  Retailing at €4.49 for 200mls
I was super excited to try this out as I have to admit since Micellar Water came out in the market I have never stopped using it.  So far I have tried about 3 different brands of Micellar Water and there is one I have to admit is a favourite of mine as im sure you all know what it is :) :) For those of you who do not know its the Garnier Micellar Water not only is it brilliant but its also 400mls and only costs under €6
I am sure you are thinking there isnt much difference in Micellar water from any brand that they all do the same thing and maybe you are right but between the 3 different brands I have Ziaja has got an advantage why?  It contains Vitamin A and Vitamin E which is hugely beneficial for your skin.
Vitamin A is the best wrinkle fighter (as we all are delighted to know)
Vitamin B helps the skin retain its natural moisture
Olive oil is very rich in vitamins, minerals and natural fatty acids. It’s also convenient for a sensitive skin. Olive oil also nourishes, rejuvenates and protects the skin.
Most Beauticians will infact tell you that olive oil is one of best ways to remove makeup even waterproof so you can imagine how well this worked on my face.  It did infact remove my makeup brilliant and without leaving my skin feeling parched.
My skin feels smooth, soft, clean and refreshed everytime I use it. Anyone with very sensitive skin will surely love this beauty and I surely give it a thumbs up :) :) I think this in fact would be my new favourite Miscellar Water.

Ziala Natural Olive Face Cream:  Retailing at €4.79 for 50mls.
The packaging on this is actually very old fashioned in my eyes :)  It looks like something I would have seen on my nannies dresser table about 20 years ago.  Its very simple and plain and nothing exciting but to be honest but its not really important what the packaging looks like as long as the product itself works well isnt that right?

Well too my surprise while untwisting the top I see a very well sealed up cream.  I mean thick tin foil seal on the top which impressed me alot as you can reseal your cream up straight after use.  Very Hygenic.  Another thing that impressed me was the cream was filled to the very very top of this tub unlike some tubs of cream which are only 3/4 filled or even 1/2 filled this tub is going to last a long long time :)

This cream smell absolutely amazing, its not the type of scent that is overly strong but surely smells fresh clean and beautiful.  If I was to pin point what exact does it smell like I would have to say the mild version of baby lotion.  Some people state it smells like olives but I cant confirm as I dont know what olives smell like.  The consistency of the cream seems thick to begin with but once applied to the skin melts to a thin consistency, keep in mind that you only need a small amount of this cream to apply to the face and neck.  I over done it the first time and to be honest the cream literally looked oily on my face I had that much of a shine you could nearly see your reflection off my face.  Next time i used it I literally used a pea sized amount and it immediately soak into my skin leaving be with a lovely health glow.

Here is an example of what I mean by using too much this is the result of what it will look like on your face :)

At the moment I have normal to combination skin so I use this very sparingly but will need it in the winter where my skin gets very dry.  So if you do have dry skin this little beauty is surely the answer to your prayers as it does hydrate you skin brilliantly :) :)  I tend to use this more at night at the moment for extra moisture and by morning my face looks fresh clean and ready for the day ahead :)  I love it

Ziaja Natural Olive Anti-Wrinkle Cream:  Retailing at €5.99 for 50mls
No Point in beating about the bush when I say I am more into looking after my skin than I did 10 years ago.  If I had a chance to turn back time when I was in my early 20's I would have told myself to start using anti wrinkle cream because I do believe once you hit the 20's your skin changes.  but better late than never eh?  This anti-wrinkle cream is aimed for anyone in their 30 + but of course you can use this whenever you wish even in your mid 20's.  Again the packaging is is the same only this time comes with a different colour lid.  The day cream comes with a green lid this one comes with a white lid so its easy to tell which cream to reach for.

The consistency of this cream is the only thing thats different to the day cream obviously because it has different ingredients in it.

The day creams main ingredient is Olive Oil where as there is 3 main ingredients in this Anti- Wrinkle cream
Olive oil, Canola Oil & Coenzyme Q10.
Canola Oil is rich in Vitamin E which is beneficial for you skin as it reduces the appearance of fine lines, its also a natural antoxident which helps protects the skin against the damaging effects of free radicals.  It also reduces the appearance of blemishes and acne scarring :)
Coenzyme Q10 :  As we are getting older so is our skin.  Our skins ability to fight off harmful chemicals such as pollution, sun exposure etc automatically reduces as we hit 30 + .  Been young we already have CoQ10 in our bodies to fight off what harms our skin but the old we get the more our natural CoQ10 defences reduces.  Ziaja have thought of this and has added it into their Anti-wrinkle cream :)
I dont know about you but thats good enough for me to believe we are only doing our skin justice by applying this everyday :)  Aswell as that this cream feels amazing on the skin and leaves you with a beautiful natural looking glow.  My skin feels smooth soft and refreshed.  I love it and use it every single day since I got it

Overall these products feel amazing and make my skin feel soft and refreshed and moisturised.  The fact that there is nothing but natural ingredients in them makes me feel great that I am not causing any extra damage to my face.  Whats more is that these are super affordable :) :)
I cant wait to try more products from this range :) :)  If you are interested in this range here is a link to their website :) :)

Until next time

Makeup Revolution Pro Hygiene Antibacterial Brush Cleaner

Hello my beauties :)
I hope you are all well
Most of you know that my all time favourite spot cleaner for my makeup brushes is by e.l.f cosmetics.  I find it cleans my brushs amazingly but the fault I have with it is that its just too small, I find I have to purchase 4 bottles at a time to keep me ticked over for a couple of weeks as I use spot cleaner every single day.  With the elf cosmetics 60ml bottle it costs £3.50 which is not bad considering it cleans the brushes well :)  but when buying 4 bottles it costs alot.  Makeup Revolution Pro Hygiene Antibacterial Brush cleaner only costs £5 per 200mls.

Makeup Revolution Claim that their new brush cleaner is specially formulated to keep your makeup brushes clean and free from bacteria. This highly effective spray instantly sterilizes and disinfects, prolonging the life of your brushes. Perfect for protect you or your clients use, before and after using your makeup brushes.

The fact that I have started to apply makeup on more people means I need to take extra care of my brushes and with my obsession of cleanliness I like to think my brushes are properly clean before applying makeup on my own face and also on my clients.  I also like to know that whatever I use on my brushes are skin friendly and will not effect me or my clients :)

I am absolutely delighted with the size of this bottle.  Its so much handier and I know it will last me a long time.  The bottle also comes with a very sturdy and handy spritzer.

I really have to admit this product surely did surprise me.  As I watched tv one night my fingers were iching to get my brushes cleaned as I knew I needed them clean for 6 am the next day.  I had a very busy day and it was late and I knew if I deep cleaned them I would have no brushes to apply makeup on myself the next day so I whipped out this brush cleaner and started to spray.  I was so amazed with the result.  I used about 5 sprays for the bigger thicker brushes like the powder, foundation and face powders and about 2 sprays for the more smaller brushes.  The spray instantly broke down all the makeup from my brushes leaving it a breeze to wipe clean on my towel.  Well now the gel eyeliner brushes were a real test as the only thing that can remover waterproof eyeliner from your brushes is Surgical Spirits or baby oil.  I was actually surprised even though the Makeup Revolution Brush cleaner did not entirely remove the gel liner but it actually removed about 80% of it which was shocking :)

Here is the result of about 10 brushes I cleaned with this Brush cleaner after doing a lovely clients makeup :)

Now What I adore more about this is the fresh fruity like scent.  I mean no alcohol scent whatsoever just a fresh fruity scent, not only that but the scent lingers on my brushes so the next time you use them you can help but sniff that beautiful scent.  I have had some of my clients comment on how nice my brushes smell which leaves me with a huge smile on my face because I know they know I keep my brushes clean :) :)

Gleaming !!!! So over all I highly recommend this to all of you including any makeup artists out there :)  Seeing the result I get every day I use this on my cleansing towel and from the feedback of my lovely clients on how nice my brushes smell I am surely going to stock up on this product :)  My brushes always feel soft after using it and They look as if they are brand new again :)
Thumbs up from Nina for sure :)
Have you tried this yet ?
Whats your thoughts on it

New Eyeliner Pens By Blank Canvas Cosmetics "Winging It" & "Borderlines" :)

Hello My beauties I hope you are all well :) :)
Oh my goodness I just could not wait to get typing up this post for you all.
Blank Canvas Cosmetics as you all know at this stage is one of my favourite Irish Beauty Companies.  I just love everything from all their brushes to their 6 pan contouring/highlighting Palette to their cases etc.  They always end up coming out with new releases especially brushes and as soon as I see an announcement that there is a new release I am online like a shot to grap it while I can.
Well They have yet again shocked me with their latest release and that is these 2 eyeliner pens.  I was not expecting them to come up with this.  So you can just imagine my excitement when I got my hands on these :)  Actually to be honest i couldnt even wait to take pictures of these first before using them like I normally do I just went straight upstairs did my makeup and applied these :) :)
So today I am going to fill you in all about them and what I think of them :) Exciting :)
I am sure you have all noticed that I do not review many eyeliner pens simply because any eyeliner pens I have tried in my time have let me down.  Either they have dried out way too quick or they are not black enough or the tip is either too hard or too soft.  Its hard to find a good eyeliner pen and trust yourself enough to part with your money to buy one especially when you have had nothing but bad experiences with ones in the past.  So have these pens changed my mind about not liking eyeliner pens or have they let me down like the rest of them.

So first up is Borderlines :)

Borderline is a super longwear eyeliner which gives an extremely black finish.  Blank Canvas Cosmetics created Borderlines for those you like the option of creating thin or thick lines in one pen.

Borderlines has a tapered end which helps create the perfect thick and thin line.  The thicker part of the tip allows you to press down to create a more thick defined line :)  The tip is stiff which means no mistakes.  I was absolutely amazed by the instant black line I got in just one stroke by this pen.  And also amazed at how quick it dried in too.

The picture above is only one light stroke as you can see instant pigmentation I love it :) :)  What more is the lid has a click sound which means you will have no fear of the lid coming off easily or accidental not putting the lid on properly and ending up with a dried out pen.  The Lasting power is amazing, it literally lasts all day long without looking the slightest bit smudged or faded.

Next up is I have to say my favourite pen out of the two :)  Even though they are bother great this is the one I reach for most :)
Its the Winging it Pen

Winging it (seriously loving the name of this pen) is amazing I absolutely adore this.  This is perfect for any of you baby girls out there who are have not perfected the cat eyed look yet and need something that you can build instead of have the instead dreaded thick line that you have to fix up yes I still to this day have that problem :)

Winging it is said to be smudge proof water proof and of course easy to apply.  It has a much slimmer nib with a much slimmer tip compared to the Borderlines liner.

Well the pigmentation is much the same as Borderlines super black super pigmented.  The flexible tip leaves it so much easier to achieve the perfect winged look.  I am super impressed that the tip lets you create a super smooth even line across your lash line filling in the spaces between your lashes.  You have 100% control of how thick or thin you want your line.  You all have to agree here by saying that doing your eyeliner is one of the most time consuming stages of applying makeup I know I can vouch for that but even this morning applying this liner it took me literally 30 seconds per eye  (yes I timed it lol ) to achieve a thin winged out look :) :) Priceless !!!

Overall both of these liners are amazing you have the Borderline Eyeliner which is short stiff thick with a tapered end to help you create an even thick or thin line right across your lash line.  Then you have Winging it which is longer thinner with an even thinner tip and also more flexible nib to help create the perfect flick for your perfect line.  I have found the pigmentation lasted all day long on my eyes without smudging or moving.  The longest time I have worn these is about 12 hours and nothing moved.  Happy days!!!!!
The fact that each of these only cost €9.99 is an extra bonus and I will be surely adding a couple of these to my kit :)
Here is a look I created using "Winging It" as my liner of the day I just love the finish :)

Have you tried these yet ?  These beauties are on sale for €9.99 each and Blank Canvas are offering free shipping on eyeliners until 29th of October.  Of course to top that off can use my code "NINA" in the discount box for a little discount on all orders over €15 ;)
I hope you found my review helpful and if you have any questions please do ask as I always reply
