My NYX Single Eyeshadow Collection

Todays review is on my NYX Single Eyeshadow Collection 

I have slowly built this little collection everytime I bought something from Cherry Culture I bought one eyeshadow so I thought it was about time I shared my collection so far :)  I mean so far I plan of buying alot more so be sure there will be part 2 or even part 2 and 3 on this post ;) 

There is a whopping 132 shades of eye-shadows to choose from and believe me it was even difficult for me to choose these ones so far so make yourself a cuppa when you do plan on buying some because it will take a while :) :)  

You can get these in numerous of sites which I will list at the end of this review for you 

Each eye shadow costs around $5 which is only €3.61 each

I am going to show you the colours I have so far and tell you more about each one :) 

Black 

Of course I had to get this as A black eyeshadow is always useful.  This black is 100% matte.  Its important to find a good black eyeshadow and I surely have found it in this one.  Its also been said to be the exact dupe of Mac's Carbon.   This is a true black and so so pigmented.  I like to use this for daytime eyeliner.  For darkening up a day look.  For setting liquid eyeliners.  Its Fabulous and should be added to your list for sure 

This eyeshadow feels super creamy, super soft and highly pigment and not chalkiness whatsoever its a dream to blend out its a dream full stop :) :) 

Nude 

This shade is always handy for days you just want to look more awake.  Its a stunning semi matte champagne.  This I like to apply all over the lid with a little bit of liner and mascara and im out the door I instantly look more awake.  I also use this as a highlight for under the brow or in the inner corner I have also used this to blend out harsh lines :)  Again another multipurpose shadow that should be in your kit :) :) 

I found a little goes a long way with this.  Again like Black this is smooth soft and creamy and you experience no fall out.  :) 

Rust 

Oh boy if you have hazel or green eyes especially this shade is going to make them pop.  I am in love with it :)  This eyeshadow has been said to be the exact dupe of Mac's Cranberry.  Thats literally what this shade is a frosty/shimmery Cranberry shade 

Oh boy this shade is amazingly pigmented and a little goes a long way.  It too is very soft creamy and is not one bit chalky 

Exotic Green 

Well I am sure you can tell that this is a shimmer eyeshadow and every so gorgeous.  It is an almost black shade with green shimmers.  I actually seen Vintage or Tacky using this in one of her tutorials and I just had to have it I am so glad I picked it too 

Doesnt it look stunning :) This is smooth and creamy and I did experience a bit of fall out with this shadow but nothing a wipe couldnt clean up :) 

Hawaiian Coffee

This is another everyone should have as its perfect for daytime smokey looks.  Its a medium brown and has a satin finish.  This is great to use in the outer corner to darken up a bronze look its also great to use as a liner if you do not want a black liner look during the day 

It is a little sheer to begin with but once you build it you have that desired medium brown payoff as it looks in the pan 

This too is very soft creamy and has no fall out 

Burgundy Pearl 

This looks a little like Rust when you put the two of them together in the pans.  But believe me they are different.  This is another one for the hazel and green eyed girls out there wow does this little beauty make your eyes pop :) :) 

This is true to its name with a slight hint of purple and red in there 

Wow this is pigmented :) soft creamy and easy to blend There is a little fall out with this but nothing crazy :) 

Cork 

This is stunning and a perfect shade to add to your neutral colours.  Its a perfect bronzey brown it has a slight metallic finish.  I love to wear this on the the lids with Hawaiian Coffee they colours really compliment each other plust with my hazel eyes I have found Cork makes them pop.  Love this shade and highly recommend it :) 

Even though it looks golden in the pan it comes out darker when swatched.  This is smooth creamy and very pigmented :) 

These swatches were made with no primer underneath.  I have to rate these shadows 10/10 for quality.  They are absolutely amazingly pigmented .  They are easy to work with and there is so much product for the price you are paying.  I have used Mac eyeshadows as I own a few and they are definately up there with the pigmentation and lasting power.  In fact I would rather the NYX shadows over Mac simply because the only difference between them is the price.  They are also up there with Inglot shadows too.  If you were a makeup artist and you were given mace eyeshadows in one palette and NYX eyeshadows in another you would find it hard to pick any difference and thats for sure :) :) 

For the price and the quality I will surely be buying for of these shadows and I am to get alot of them When I do I will depot them all and place them in palettes :) :)

Seventeen Cheek Stamp Blush Review

Hello My beauties I hope you are all well today 

Ok as you have probably noticed I have never ever tried the brand Seventeen before.  I think mainly because I thought the brand was directed mostly to teens out there.   I was wrong in fact Seventeen makeup has been out since 1962 imagine :) 

I was browsing through boots one day and I spotted these little guys which were a new release by Seventeen I was intrigued and thought they looked so cute :)  I researched a little about them and found out they were out before as part of Seventeens Spring Limited Edition Collection last year  They were seemingly bought back due to popular demand.  
There are 5 shades available in total and cost €6.29 from Boots and there is currently an offer of 3 for 2 so if you are interested in trying them out after this review you will get a good bargain ;) 

Ok I have to say at first the packaging was what caught my eye with these and usually packaging is not a big deal to me but in all fairness you have to admit yourself it looks pretty, girly and very unusual :) :) 

I love the inside packaging too.  You are getting an hour glass shaped blush.  Each blush is colour coded so you will have no problem picking which one you want.  There is a mirror on top of each one, always perfect for travelling or checking out your makeup in a hurry ;) 
The blush has a twistable lid which inside contains an attached sponge :) 

 The Sponge is protected by a round see through plastic seal in which you replace on the sponge each time you use the blush for hygienic reasons of course as the oils from your face would transfer to the blush once you place the sponge on top.  
On the other half is where the blush is :)  To be honest it looks quite little when you do have a look in.  

The sponge is worked by a spring which means the more the product goes down the further the spring with go to reach it so there is no worries there.  You will feel the spring work immediately from the time you put the sponge in or close the product up.  The blush lifts quite well so it takes little effort to load up the sponge what I do is dip and turn a little and the sponge is full of blush 

The instructions say stamp blusher onto the apples of your cheeks and blend for a flush of Spring colour.  
The 2 shades I got where the only shades available the day I got them as they sold out very quick in my area so I thought I would give them a whirl anyway :) 

The cheek of it :  This has shimmer in it so if you are not a glittery/shimmer blush fan you might not like this one.  This is a nice peachy bronzey shade.  I have to admit its a little too much on the shimmery side for me.  I like shimmer blushes especially those that give you a nice glow but this is not for me as the colour is a little sheer on my and the more I build it the more shimmer goes onto my cheeks.  I think the only ones who will get colour pay off from this would be people who have fair skin :)   Its still very pretty and very easy to apply 

Made you Look:  I love this name because wearing this blush will surely make people look.  This is a bright fuchsia Pink blush with tiny specks of shimmer in fact the tiny specks are not even noticeable once swatched but you do end up with a nice glow to the cheeks.  A tiny bit of this goes a long way so be very careful :)

In all honesty the stamp sponge is great for applying the blush to the apples of the cheeks but blending out with the sponge is a little hard to work with I would much prefer the brush to blend out.  Also waiting for your foundation to dry first before stamping this blush on would be a need otherwise you are going to find it even harder to blend that stamp out.  I like the idea around it but I am too used to applying blush with my brushes and that's what I ended up doing with this blush after a few goes its easier and quicker :)  The blushes themselves are very smooth and soft and quite pigmented they last for most of the day without any touch ups :)  
The shades is something I probably would have thought twice about getting for myself in all honesty as they are not shade I wouldnt usually reach for but for some of you out there you might like these shades :) :)  I will go back and see if the store has stocked up on the other to try them out

Shiseido Perfect Rouge RD 516 Lipstick

Hello my beauties :) 

I hope you are all well

Today I decided to review this fabulous lipstick by Shiseido as I feel it deserves a full review :) 

Just to refresh your memories I got this in the PowderPocket Box Last Month and instantly fell in love with it :) 

I actually posted up a picture the day I got it on facebook with me wearing it and alot of you had great comments about it on my lips :) :) 

In all honestly this is the first time I have tried the brand Shiseido and I was super excited to see that it came in the box as I have always wondered about the brand :) :) 

The price tag of this beauty is fairly high I tell you so high its no wonder I have taken my time trying it out.  €27 reaches a no no point for me especially for lipsticks but I thought ok forget the price and just try it out to see if its worth all this ching ching :) 

Shiseido date back to 1872 Wow I cant believe that but its true :)  It creator was Japanese and the first product introduced by Shiseido was a toothpaste from then on was a face powder then skin lotion then Perfume.  It became on of the biggest brands in the whole of Japan by 1957 it became known all over the world.  Now today Shiseido offers products for both men and women including makeup, perfume, skincare products etc 

Its no wonder its one of the top High end brands of all time :) :) 

Their Perfect Rouge range is huge with 20 shades to choose from you are bound to find one that suits you :) :) 

Shiseido states:

 Shiseido has alot of promises for this lipstick stating This lipstick Soothes and hydrates the lips without stickiness.  Offering moisture that lasts all day long improving dryness and roughness over time.  Perfect Rouge Lipstick embraces the use of Dual Optimizing Powder, Ultra-Fine Satin Smooth Pearl, and Super Hydro-Wrap Vitalizing DE, It combines powerful skincare with cutting-edge color technologies to create the ultimate lipstick.   So now that all that has been talked about let me show and tell you what I think of this lipstick :) 

The packaging I have to admit is nothing to be excited about to be honest there are drugstore lipsticks out there that are more excited and looks more expensive than this.  You do know what they say though its not all about the packaging its the product itself :) :) 

Its a simple Dark purple tube shaped like a flower with four hollows going around it.  The name of the brand printed on it plain and simple :) :) Its very lightweight and easy to store in your purse pocket handbag where every you desire :)   The one thing I have to say is that the lid closes like it has a slight suction at the end which means the lid will not come off easily in your handbag 

When i opened this lipstick to see what shade I got I was surprised RED!!!!! and very deep in the tube like a blood red  :)  Some people would be slightly fearful of this especially if you are afraid of reds :) but believe me there is no need to be afraid of this one its fabulous.  I swatched a little on my hand and was actually surprised.  It was not a deep dark blood red like I thought only to be a pinky blue toned red.  I cant help but love blue toned reds as I feel they suit my skin tone alot better.  I was so pleased 

On this lips this feels extra smooth and soft almost like butter.  Applying is like a dream even with this deep colour.  The lipstick feels more like a balm than a lipstick.  Not the balm that feels oily and greasy but the balm that feels like silk on the lips.  I It certainly feels like a luxurious lipstick on the lips.  I have especially tested this lipstick this week as I have been suffering with a horrible flu which involved me having to wear barely there makeup because I was constantly blowing my nose leaving me with dry skin around the nose and dry lips.  Applying this lipstick to my dry lips was amazing unlike some lipstick that soak into the cracks of your dry lips and becoming blotchy this lipstick glided on easily leaving my lips looking super moist and kissable :) 

It doesn't stop there ....... This lipstick does not lose its moister at all for the day even when it wears off your lips still feel as moist as when you first applied the lipstick.  The pigmentation of this lipstick is incredible you can get away with just one coat and you instantly have colour on your lips.  In the picture above I have 2 coats.  When the lipstick starts to wear off it wears off evenly which means no blotchiness or no checking your lips every time you drink or eat.  I found it stains the lips and the more it wears off the more pink it looks on the lips :)   This lipstick is very transferable so be careful with your other half while wearing this because you will literally leave him with lipstick on his collar but while the lipstick wears off you are still left with colour on your lips for the day.  

I have certainly had fun trying this little beauty out and will surely be keeping this for all the right occasions.  The shade is not for me for everyday wear as it is very opaque but i do sometime blot this over my lips for a little colour especially on my "No makeup Days" 

So in all this lipstick really does what it says on the packaging it delivers everything it says and boy will you feel good wearing it.  Now paying €27 I still don't think I would opt to that as money I feel been a mum of 5 that is alot of money to splurge on one lipstick but for some of you out there who like to splurge now and again on make-up you have to try this lipstick :) :) Its amazing :)

Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff No Nonsense 3 in 1 Body Scrub

Well hello my beauties xxxxxx Todays review is on the Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff No Nonsense 3 in 1 Body scrub.  I honestly could not wait to get my hands on this when I first heard about it.  To be honest Since i started using Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan I have become hooked.  I can have a tan all year round and have comfort knowing I am in no way damaging my skin.  Not only that I have a Chocolate Whip Moisturiser to keep my tan in tip top shape plus keeping my skin feeling smooth and looking fresh and glowing.  For extra beauty I also have Lovely legs Tan  for when I want that extra bronzed sexy looking legs when I want to wear anything above the knee ;).  Marissa Has it all thought out so much so she has come up with yet another product to help us ladies achieve and maintain beautiful tanned skin.  Of course to have beautiful Tanned skin we have to prep our skin and have beautiful smooth skin with no rough parts to achieve a beautiful even tan.   Not only that but we also need something thats going to help remove the subborn old tan that has been on our skin for over 5 days and sometimes thats hard to remove without feeling like your tearing even skin cell off you :)  Well not anymore !!!!!!!!This has to be the best Body Scrub so far I have every tried in my life Honestly 

As I mentioned many times before I do suffer with dry skin mostly on my legs and feet area.  i mean the dryness where even when you apply a light moisturiser you see flakes about 5 minutes after.  Well using a rough exfoliatesr can be extremely hard on dry skin leaving it even drier than it was before.  Its horrible and most of the time you are afraid to ex foliate especially when tanning.  That's why most of the time I think peoples tan does not work out for them especially dry skin sufferers.   

Well this stuff is the answer to us dry skin suffers especially :) :) 
Marissa States that :  The TOUGH STUFF Body Scrub is a no-nonsense scrub for rough areas of the body – perfect for the feet, ankles, knees, elbows and hands. This amazing ex foliating scrub is brilliant to prepare the skin for tanning, removing stubborn old tan and of course, leave your skin silky smooth.

Look at how nice a pink this looks lordy lord so girly I love it.  When I first tried this little tube of greatness my tan had got a little too grubby and patchy and to be honest it was too embarrassing to show in photo's so I left that out but all you tan wearers know only too well the way tan goes after a few days :)  

So I started using this to remove my tan.  i was expecting rough harsh times ahead of me but to be honest even though this is full of tiny grains it didnt feel so bad , in fact it felt really good.  Not only was the tan coming off very easily but my skin was feeling smoother the more I rubbed.  In all honesty I only squirted this into my hands and applied to my body with long strokes I could instantly see my tan lifting off my skin.  Now yes you will feel these grains for sure something like you woud feel if using an exfoliating glove but better

After using this the first time i instantly fell in love.  My skin felt so smooth and soft and not one bit dry.  I mean no tightness especially after the scrubbing and I didnt even feel like I had to apply moisturiser.  The smell is amazing smells like the Chocolate Whip Moisturiser.  This is amazing stuff believe me I use this to prep my skin for my tan and there is no such thing as rough knees and elbows with me anymore.  I absolutely love using this to prep my legs before shaving there is no redness or blotchiness afterward and my legs feel amazing.  

I use this stuff 3 times a week and my skin feels amazing my tan looks amazing what more do you need :) :) 

My body has never been treated so well since I introduced it to the Cocoa Brown Range I honestly dont know How I survived in the past without it :) :)  So the only question I have is Whats Next Marissa ;)
