Dainty Doll Powder & Cream Blushes Review

Hello My Beauties How are you all doing today :)
If you are a regular follower and follow me on facebook you might reconise this photo .  I posted it up of facebook months ago showing a tease of a haul I got from Fragrance Direct website.  They were having an absolutely amazing sale on Dainty Doll Makeup and I really could not pass it.  I know I know I cant believe its taken me this long to start reviewing them but (slaps on the hand) but life just took over in the past month and a half with birthdays kiddies getting off school and of course the fabulous weather we have been having I was just too busy to sit at the laptop.  So forgive me.
If you dont know anything about Dainty Doll let me give you a little low down hoe down to what it is.
Dainty Doll is developed especially to enhance the beauty of fairer skin tones. Created by Nicole Roberts from Girls aloud using the finest quality, skin-loving formulas to help cover, perfect and care for your skin, The Dainty Doll range makes it much easier for those with paler skin tones to achieve the ideal shade every time.
I say fair play to Nicole for finally coming out with this range teaching all pale skinned woman out there that there is no need to hide behind fake tan and dark foundations that you just need to enhance what you have and to flaunt you natural self.  She is a stunner and finally pale skinned woman everywhere can find a match for their skin tone through this range :)
Now I am not the palest skinned out there in fact I am sallow skinned all year round but I am paler in the winter which is why I was interested in trying out this range and not only that my sister is paler than me too and it would be nice to have a little collection of makeup that would suit her or anyone I do makeup for.
So I will start off with 2 Powder blushes and 2 Cream blushes I purchased from this range .
The packaging on both blushes are the very same.  I love how cute the boxes are that come with them.  The vintage styling is amazing of Nicole on the front its brilliant.  On the inside you get you little slim compact containing your blush and inside that you are getting a nice sized mirror for travelling :)
The compact feels expensive its not just you typical black plastic feel its more grippy and sturdy than that and not only that is stain free so if you smug especially with the cream blush you can wipe clean and it looks as good as new.
I have to admit when choosing these blushes I made sure to choose 2 of each and 2 simular shades of each just incase one or the other does not work out for me :)
So starting with the Cream blushes
In the Cream Blush Range there are 3 shades to choose from
I ended up Choosing 001 Paper Roses & 002 Orange County Girl
001 Paper Roses :)
This is a light baby pink shade with tiny tiny shimmers in it.  This blush is more on the cool side than on the warm side.  Its a little too light for my complexion but looks amazing on the more paler skin :)
002 Orange County Girl
This is my favourite out of the 2.  This is more suited for my complexion.  The shade is amazing its a beautiful coral pink shade with gold shimmers.  The shimmer is not over shimmery but leaves a beautiful glow on the cheeks.  So much so that you would not need to add highlight, it does 2 jobs in one how better could that get :)
The cream blushes have impressed me alot I have to admit.  They are highly pigmented and builtable.  They feel cream and smooth and takes very little effort to apply.  They both lasted all day on my cheeks and began to wear off after the 8 hour mark which in my eyes is super dee dooper.  To apply you can easily use your finger which i do recommend as the heat of your fingers will make applying alot easier but you can use a stippling brush too.  The prices of these blushers vary depending on where you get them but i have noticed alot of sites who used to sell Dainty Doll dont sell them anymore.  Amazon are one site who do still sell the range and they are all cut down prices too also If you are in Ireland Cara Pharmacy sell them too :)
If you can get your hands on the cream blushes grab them as they are worth trying out :)
Powder Blushes
The Powder Blushes come in a bigger package 2g bigger in fact.  There are 4 shades available in this range
I chose 002 My Girl and 004 You are my sunshine
The best thing I noticed about these blushes even before getting them in my hands is that there is Vitamin A and E in them and is also rich in antioxidants Bonus :) :)
Another thing you will notice is that the powder blushes are very familiar to the cream blushes in shades in fact they are almost identical
002 My girl
As you can see is a nice baby pink shade This is the exact shade of "Paper Roses" so if you the cream blush you can finish it of with "My Girl"  This blush is alot more pigmented than the cream blush and not at all chalky .  Its soft and cream and lasts all day long.  I did notice there is alot more a glow on my cheeks using the powder blush than the cream blush which is unusual :) but they are both lovely
004 You are my Sunshine
Oh I just love love love this blush.  Its amazing on my skin and is a favourite by far out of the 4 blushes.  Again this is the exact match of "Orange County Girl"  But with a little difference.  There is a little more of a golden sheen in this blush than the cream blush and its a little more pigmented.  Its stunning I love it :)
Here is a picture of all four blushes together the Powder blushes on the left and cream blushes on the right
Over all i am well impressed with both types of blushes.  I am loving the cream ones at the moment in this crazy heat wave because its not melting off my face but the powder blushes are brilliant as they are more pigmented and last until you take your makeup off :)
If you are lucky enough to find these blushes which in Ireland is no Problem as mentioned Cara Pharmacy still stock Dainty Doll and anyone else in the world can buy them from Amazon but im sure if you look you will find them easy.  I have emailed them to ask them are the restocking on the site they used to sell on so I will update you all when I get a reply :)
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

Sharing the Love #11: Interview with Sara from At the Beauty Desk

[headshot+for+article.jpg]
Good Morning Everyone I hope you are all well today :)
Happy 4th of July to all of you out there who are celebrating today Be safe and Have a great time :)
Todays Guest is another Irish blogger Sarah
Not only is she a fantastic blogger who has brilliant quality photos but she is also professional freelance make-up artist, nail technician and hair stylist.  I myself have only just found her and I Have read every one of her blog post so far and loved them.  She is one of those bloggers that deserve more followers than what she has and thats for sure :) She seems so laid back and fun and I am sure you will agree when you visit her blog and read her interview with me :) I hope you enjoy :)

1.    Hey Sarah Welcome to my blog :) :) Can you tell us a little about yourself :)
Hi Nina, I’m Sarah Hamersley. I’m a professional freelance makeup artist, nail technician, and hair stylist. I work for myself so my job can vary from doing makeup for photo shoots or films, to doing nails or doing up styles for special occasions. I also blog about all things beauty and write for a monthly Munster magazine called Hi Magazine.

2.    Tell us a little about your blog
My blog is http://atthebeautydesk.blogspot.ie/ I only started blogging this year. I love all things beauty so my blog is an extension of that. It’s a place I can talk about the latest products I bought, reviews of products I was sent and to share pictures of my makeup and nails. Before doing a post, I always think to myself would I be interested in reading this post on someone else’s blog. I like being original and not blogging about what everyone else has blogged about.

3.    What inspired you to start up your blog
I’ve always been into writing and someone told me I should start a blog, so I did. I didn’t think about followers or who would read it, I just did it to improve my writing. And as a result of it I now write about beauty in a local Magazine. My beauty page is called “At the beauty desk with Sarah Hamersley” which is the same name as my blog so it’s great to be able to connect those two things together.

4.    What is your dream job?
Honestly I’m doing my dream job. As I said, I could be doing shellac one minute, makeup for a bridal party another or travelling to an event the next so it’s a great variety of things I do. The fact I offer such a wide range of treatments to clients, I’m not stuck doing the same thing all day every day. It is a lot of hard work and you really have to put yourself out there but it’s very rewarding and you get to meet so many amazing people.

Plus there’s always new products and treatments coming out, so I’m always going to day training courses to improve and update my skills. Especially in the beauty industry, you can never know everything so I think it’s important to stay on top of all the latest trends.
I currently have one beauty page in Hi Magazine but I’d love to have a whole beauty section and one day become a beauty editor. That’s one of my goals.

5.    Can you share with us some of your favourite blogs to read?
I love blogs where you get to know the person and their personality comes through in their posts. I follow such a wide range of blogs because I think it’s important to support other bloggers. I always love stumbling across blogs that are amazing but haven’t that many followers. It’s like coming across an amazing song no one as heard of yet and you are the number one fan before it makes it big.

6.    Your favorite skin care, hair care and makeup products?
Oh this is a tough one, I work with so many different products all the time and use different brands for different things but from a personal point of view, what I use on myself, I do have a few favourites I always use.

My favourite skin care has to be Olay. I grew up seeing my mam use it. I used to rob some from her dressing table when I was young and been using it ever since. I think good skin care is the first step to looking gorgeous. I always fell more confident when my skin looks and feels healthy.
For hair care I look for products that smells nice, protects and gives shine I Sshampoo twice, use a coin amount of conditioner, massage it in and comb through and use a leave in conditioner or conditioning treatment. I use a lot of heat on my hair from blow drying or straightening so I always use a protectant spray or I allow my hair dry naturally as often as I can.
My makeup products change all the time. But the one thing I use all the time are my brushes. I couldn’t do my job without them. Good brushes make applying makeup so much easier. I have a red undertone to my skin and using sponges or my fingertips can drag the makeup or heat up my face so that’s why I always use brushes so as not to add to the redness.

7   If you could give one piece of advice to someone who is thinking of starting up their own blog what would it be?
I say just do it. That’s how I began. I did it for the love of it and it led to getting to write a beauty page for a magazine. You don’t know where it could lead to or who’s reading your blog. It is a great platform for whatever industry you want to get into and it’s a great way to meet new people of similar interests.

8.    Can You tell us what is in you handbag?? (hehehe I like been nosey?
My handbag is like my little savior, lots of bits and bobs and things for just in case. Besides the obvious keys, phone and wallet I carry smellies, nail wraps, clips, combs, loads of pens and a pad, lipstick, balms & gloss, hygiene gel, mirror, sunnies, sudoko, travel tan, creams & chewing gum.

9.    Where else apart from your blog can we find you aka twitter facebook etc.
I only recently joined twitter and I’ve met so many great bloggers through it. I join in with weekly chats, give beauty advice and put up pictures of things not on my blog. I talk to all my followers so make sure to pop by and say hi.
I also have an online portfolio site where you can see some of my work. I’m always updating it and have loads more pictures to include.
Hi Magazine is also available online so you can pop in your details and avail of a free online copy and see my article every month.

10. Any last words for us :)
I’ve really enjoyed this chat, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading it, hopefully talk to you all soon and happy blogging x

Sleek Makeup Showstoppers Palette Review

Hey my beauties how are you all today :)
Wow the summer holidays is already setting in for the kiddies as i type here I heard load TV on, Nintendo ds's been played and music on the phone as my 3 year old shimmy shakes to the music all oh yes and the other twin shouting (not singing) to the song been played all because the rain is about to fall here :( so much for summer eh?  but I still aim to get this blog post up :)
So todays review is on the Newest Eyeshadow Palette by Sleek which is Limited Edition.  This palette was first released in April and i just could not wait to get my hands on it because Sleek took the most popular shades from past palettes and put them into one which is the Showstoppers Palette :)
If you have been following me for a while you will know I absolutely love love love the Sleek I-Divine eyeshadow palettes they are amazingly pigmented and amazing value :)
I think I have about 7 or 8 palettes to my collection now and i love each and every one of them.  If you have missed any of my reviews on them click here to view all my reviews
The packaging is the same as it always is a sturdy black case which will not open unless you prize it open which is a great thing.  You get a great sized mirror inside and a double ended sponge tipped applicator which I always dispose of as I have my brushes that I prefer to use.  The eyeshadows are protected by a plastic covering which has the name of each eyeshadow on it :)
The names on the shadows as you might notice if you are a fan of the palettes are actually the names of what palette the eyeshadow came from for instance The 1st shade came from the Paraguaya palette so thats what its named on this palette :) great idea :)
Some of the shades I have not tried because I dont have all of the named palettes so I was even more excited to try them because they are the popular shades :)
So on to the shades and starting with the top row from left to right :)
Paraguaya:  This is a Matte peachy shade perfect for blending out harsh lines or even on the line for an instant wake me up look :) This is light and looks sheer when swatched but more noticable on the lid when you use a darker shade in the crease :)
Sunset:  This is an absolute stunning shade I Love it :)  Its a stunning metallic Burgandy and works amazing for my eyes as they make my hazel eyes pop :)  Its very very pigmented and alot goes a long way :)
Me, Myself & Eye:  This is another metallic shade A white with reflect of green in it a perfect highlight shade.  There can be a little fall out with this one but again a little goes a long way
Bad Girl:  Another metallic shade this time a stunning olive green with reflects of gold and again very pigmented and a little on the chalky side :)
Noir:  A gunmetal silver with reflect of blue going through it you perfect smokey eye shade and very very pigmented works well and blends with little effort :)
Ultramattes V2:  This is a matte black with a slight metallic finish.  This takes a little more effort to blend than the rest of the shade because its so dark but takes very little with each application.  This also works great as a liner wet or dry :)
Now for Row 2
Oh So Special:  This is another matte shade for you all this time a deep grey shade.  This is a little harder to blend so take your time with it but its very pigmented and beautiful :)
Bohemia:  Wow years ago I would have been afraid of this shade lol but this is the most beautiful pinky coral shade again a matte shade.  This is so so pigmented that a little goes a long way.  If feels soft and creamy and looks fantastic on anyone with green/hazel eyes.  I will post up a picture on a model I used this colour on later on :)
Storm:  A very deep matte navy blue shade.  This looks fantastic along side "Bohemia" A Very pigment shade but is a little chalky so best to apply before your foundation :)
Sparkle:  A creamy shimmery shade but has a slight metallic finish.  This is chalky also so be careful this shade is very soft and pigmented for a light shade and works perfect for a highlight :)
Au Natural:  A very deep purple with pinkish undertones and silver glitter this shade is BEAUTIFUL but does create alot of fall out be careful.  This is very pigment a stunning I love it you will find it is a little on the grainy side because of the glitter but you will not end up looking like a disco ball dont worry :)
Graphite:  This is a beautiful chocolate brown which has a metallic finish .  I wore this shade yesterday in the crease and "Paraguaya" on the lid and it looked so beautiful for a little pick me up look :) even for school days look :) This is a very pigmented soft shade a little goes a long way :)
As you can see each and every one of these shades are more than pigmented enough even the matte shades are pigmented which is a surprise because matte shades in general are usually hard to work with.  I love every shade and I think Sleek did well with adding all the favourite shades into one palette.  One thing I would say is that there is a good few shades in this palette that creates fall out and can be a little messy so what i do is create my more dramatic looks before applying my foundation at least that way you can clear up any fall out after you are done either that or apply loose powder under each eye and cheeks so you can sweep it away after.  I highly recommend this palette and I can safely say that its one of the best I have bought :)  Its a pity its a Limited Edition because I think it could become a favourite to anyone loves makeup :)
Here is a look I done on Sarah my perfect model :) :) ;)  In this eye look I used the shades "Paraguaya all over the lid, Bohemia in the centre of the lid, Au Natural in the inner and outter corner, Storm in the crease and Sparkle as a highlight on the browbone and tear duct" The look I did was actually inspired by another beauty blogger who created this look and I thought I would never be able to achieve it but did :) Her blog is called Glam Express she does some amazing looks and tutorials :)
Here is the look I recreated :)
you can still purchase this palette from the Sleek website or selected stores like Superdrug and boots :) for £7.99 or you can purchase this palette from the Cloud10 website who ship internationally :) (at the moment they are out of stock due to popular demand but I have contacted them and they said they are due a delivery in today)  for €9.99
I hope you enjoyed this review and if you have any questions comment below :)
Until next time

Sharing the Love #10: Interview with Marie from I am the Makeup Junkie

Hey everybody How you are all doing today :)
Well I have a very excited house this morning as we are heading to the zoo for a treat.  The twins have never been to the zoo.  Today is another share the love visitor and She is also a new blogger I am following :) So this is going to be nice to get to know her more for myself as well as for you :) Introducing Maria from I am the Makeup Junkie :)

1.  Hey Maria Welcome to my blog :) :) Can you tell us a little about yourself :)
Sure! I am 42 year old esthetician and makeup artist. I am currently disabled due to some crappy things. I have been in the industry for 20 years. I love skincare and makeup more than anything. I claim to have the largest makeup collection in the North American hemisphere? World maybe? Seriously, I have A LOT of makeup. I have a wonderful Greek husband who I met in Paris and two wonderful daughters, 13 and 12. My blog is called I am the Makeup Junkie

2.  Tell us a little about your blog:
Called "I Am THE Makeup Junkie", it is about makeup and skincare reviews with educational essays on skincare too. I love to review products and let people know my opinions on them, but I also want to hear from others to know their opinions. I never hear from others yet, I am not that well know. My feedback is good though. It seems as if I am building myself up to be a foundation expert, since a lot of my reviews are on foundation. I also used to treat acne, so I would love to really get in the thick of acne skincare and be an expert!

3.  What inspired you to start up your blog
I wanted to do it years ago but I had kids so I had to wait. I finally said that since I am disabled I had the time now.

4.  What is your dream job?
My dream job would be to be an artist for Illamasqua. I love their makeup. And Alex Box, their creative director is amazing.

5.  Can you share with us some of your favourite blogs to read ?
I like Temptalia of course and Hairspray and High Heels, I also like Nina's Page, Glamorous Mama and more but it is very hard for me to find time to read blogs. I wish I could read more. Really I would love to spend all day reading!

6.  Your favorite skin care, hair care and makeup products?
Lately I love Korres, Ole Henrisken and MitoQ skincare. Makeup: Illamasqua, MAC and Inglot of course! Haircare: Rock Your Hair, Crack, L'Oreal and Kerastase.

7   If you could give one piece of advice to someone who is thinking of starting up their own blog what would it be?
Read some blogs first. Comment on them. I never did. You need to get to know the community. I lagged behind because of it.

8.  Can You tell us what is in you handbag?? (hehehe I like been nosey?  Include a picture ?
Crap!I have a gigantic Vera Bradley wallet that takes up most of my purse right now. The rest is receipts, medicine and junk.

9.  Where else apart from your blog can we find you aka twitter facebook etc

10  Any last words for us :)
Thank you for doing this. I think it will be great to get to know everyone!

:) I hope you all enjoyed My interview with Marie :) She is one busy lady I tell you :)

Lancome Hypnose Star Eyes Palette in Terre D'Ivoire

Hey my Fabulous beautiful readers :)
I hope you are all well :)
Well today is official the start of the summer in my house as the kiddies is finally off school for the holidays so they are hoping they get some of that fabulous sun we had a couple of weeks ago, mind you so am I !!!!
So do you all remember about 2 weeks ago or so I posted up a blog post about a launch I went to ?
The Lancome & Jenny Packham Fashion Meets Beauty Launch
Where Jenny Packham teamed up with Lancome for the second time to launch her designer cosmetics bag.  There was so many deals that day and you got 20% off any Lancome product plus you got 5 nice sized samples in your designer bag to take home ;) I just couldnt resist :)
I have to add I never in my life ever owned anything from Lancome for the simple reason its a high end product and costs a BOMB.  But for this day I had saved up especially to treat myself at the event.
Not only that I dont really ever get the chance to splurge so spurging and getting cash off is a bargain to me hehehe
It was extremely hard to choose what to get I had a limit and I wanted to really take advantage with this limit.  Barbara the Lancome Rep who works with Cara Pharmacy in Cavan, filled me in on almost everything Lancome had to offer She was absolutely brilliant and very patient with me as I had alot of questions to ask.
But with all the products she put out there for me there was one in particular that kept catching my eye and that I kept going back to which is this Fabulous eyeshadow palette :)
The new  Lancome Hypnose Eye Palettes are broken into three styles, Doll Eyes, Drama Eyes and Star Eyes
There are 12 palette to choose from in this range and all 12 look absolutely amazing and suitable to anyone.
Each style has 4 palettes to choose from
Doll eyes is the Fresh & Natural
Drama Eyes is the Chic and Elegant
Star Eyes is the Deep and Intense palettes
Unveil chic and elegant eyes with Lancôme's Hypnôse Star Eyes palette.

Create a range of sophisticated eye makeup looks with ease using our versatile palette, professionally inspired applicators and step-by-step techniques.
Apply the eye shadow dry for blendable, buildable colour, or use wet for deeper colour intensity. Our innovative “wet” eye shadow technology allows for a range of effects and intensities with a multi-dimensional, even texture.

Benefits: Elegant Eyes, Intense Colour, Endless Finishes by Lancome
With great difficulty simply because I could not choose straight away been so undecisive I chose the Star Eyes Palette in Terre D'Ivoire with is from the Deep and Intense Selection :)
This was the one I knew I would used alot :)
Each palette cost a sturdy €48 WOWZER!!!!!!
But to be honest how many palette have bought and have you wasted just for the sake of having a few nice shades.  I know so many people who own palettes and don't even use the half of the shades because they are not suitable for them where as these palettes are well thought out and the shades all 5 of them work brilliantly together
The packaging is plain and simply the way I like it.  Its very light weight and fits the palm of my hand.  Inside you are getting your 5 shadows one of which can be used as an eyeliner, a nice sized mirror and 2 applicators one is sponge the other is a brush.  Usually I would roll my eyes up to heaven and throw them in the bin but this time I shall be keeping them because they are actually quite good.  The extra bonus to this palette is that it must have some sort of magnetic hold for the applicators because when you turn the palette in any way the applicators do not budge :) happy days :) :)
As you can see I have the palette standing up and the applicators are staying put :)
The main reason I chose this palette is because i knew by the shades that they would be well suitable for my hazel eyes.  Any sort of neutral shade suits my eyes plus pinks and purples they really make my eyes pop.
The palette comes with detailed instructions on how to use each eyeshadow they ever broke it down into 3 different guides
Soft, Medium and Deep intensity which is brilliant for anyone who is new to makeup.  This guide will help you achieve a day time and night time look from the one palette and you will have eyes that look like they were done by a professional not only that but there is also a video tutorial on youtube done by Lancome to show you a look you can do from these palettes.
The pigmentation is absolutely amazing.  The shadows feel soft and creamy and just by swatching these you know you are getting what your paying for.  Swatching these shadows dry you will see they look nothing better than any normal eyeshadow but wearing them dry is a total different story.  They lasted all day on my eyes and I found no fading until about 8 hours into wear
Wearing the shadows wet ?? Oh my goodness the intensity is absolutely amazing I couldnt believe it even seeing it with my own eyes and wearing them applied wet they lasted on my eye from 8 in the morning until 9 at night.  Looking in the mirror at 9 o clock at night it looked like I just applied my makeup AMAZING The swatches below are literally only one swipe no building up of colour :)
Of course with habit i used a primer each time I wore these shadow but I would well believe without a primer they would wear well :)
Overall I am extremely happy I purchased this especially with the discount.  Yes it is a bit on the pricey side but if you are one who treats yourself now and again I would recommend even owning one of these palettes.  I can safely say this will be the only palette I will own from this range because of the price but if you got the money to slurge go ahead and get at least one of these palette you wont regret it :)
Here is a look i created from this palette (Click on the photos for a closer look)
This picture was taken with flash and the next picture is taken in normal light as you will see in the next photo the eyeshadows have really made my eyes pop :) :)
Have you tried the Lancome Hypnose Eyeshadow Palettes yet
If you were to buy one which one would you get
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

I love love love hearing from you all :) I make it my duty to read each and every one of you comments and every time i get a comment from you it highlights my day thanks so so much to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

1.  Hey Marian Welcome to my blog :) :) Can you tell us a little about yourself :)
Hi I’m Marian. I’m 25 years old, living in Cork. I’m a makeup artist and nail tech. I’m also trained as a general nurse. I come from a huge family and I love animals

2.  Tell us a little about your blog
My blog www.highlifeofmars.blogspot.ie was something I started about 2 years ago or so. It’s a beauty blog with loads of reviews, swatches and pictures. I often have a FOTD or NOTD too. It was something I started as a hobby and it has just grown over that time.

3.  What inspired you to start up your blog
The reason I started my blog is because I love makeup. Like to an insane amount! I also really like writing so I figured I would combine the two. It was a nervous decision on my part but I’m really glad I did now.

4.  What is your dream job?
My dream job is what I am doing, makeup artistry. I love doing makeup on people for occasions and especially weddings. I love a really natural look and I think bridal makeup should be natural enough to let that happy wedding day glow shine through J I love people’s reactions after I have done a transformation. I also really enjoy the fashion and photography makeup side of things.
5.  Can you share with us some of your favourite blogs to read ?
I have so many blogs that I like to read!! I don’t think I could narrow it down really. Some of my faves are Dancing with Disaster, A Pretty Obsession,  Not Just Inside, Girl with the Skew Earring, Dolly Rouge, Nurse Fancy Pants, Lovely Girlie Bits, Misseblog , Cuti-CLUE-Les and of course yours!! J But honestly I read and love loads!! I especially love Irish beauty blogs.

6.  Your favorite skin care, hair care and makeup products?
My favourite skin care at the moment is the Olay 7 Effects and Regenerist range.  They are doing great things for my fine lines! My fave hair care is the Aussie Color Mate range. It really does help keep my blonde hair from going brassy. My fave makeup product is a tough one. If I had to pick one thing I love it would be Urban Decay eyeshadows. I’ve always had a soft spot for them and they are what got me interested in makeup in the first place.

7   If you could give one piece of advice to someone who is thinking of starting up their own blog what would it be?

The one piece of advice I'd give to people who want to start a blog is do it because it interests you and you want it as a hobby. It is hard work but don't let it take over your life. I've often gone weeks without blogging cause life has gotten in the way. There's nothing wrong with that!
Other than that you need to spell check everything you do. Also take nice photos. Try get them as clear and true to colour as possible. You don't need a fancy camera but just do the best with what you have. Try to have a nice background. It doesn't have to a plain white background but just make sure there's no mess or clothes strewn all over the place in the background

8.  Can You tell us what is in you handbag?? (hehehe I like been nosey?  Include a picture ?
Ok so in my handbag right now I have my wallet, my diary, two pens, a mirror, some sanitary towels, a lip balm, three ELF Matte Lip Colours, a Bourjois lip gloss, a Benefit lip gloss, a Tarte lip tint, a Barry M green lipstick, a bottle of my IBS meds, some antacids and Tylenol. I just realised that is a total of 8 lip products. I have a problem!!

9.  Where else apart from your blog can we find you aka twitter facebook etc.
