BH Cosmetics Gel Eyeliner review :)

Hey my beauties How are you all doing today?
At this stage you all probably know i am a big fan of BH Cosmetics.  I have really started to build up a good collections of items from
I love every last item i got so i decided to go for a change and not purchase any palettes this time and to try out these Gel Eyeliners in which i havent really seen that many reviews about.  I often wondered what they were like as the colours looked amazing.  There are 19 different shade YES YOU DID SEE RIGHT A WHOLE 19 SHADES i think that is the first time i seen such a huge collection of gel liners from one brand :) Each Gel eyeliner costs $7.95 but there is always sales on BH Cosmetics and the Gel Liners are currently selling for $5.33 each at 33% off in which i got over a month ago :) :)
I was so spoilt for choice i actually could not decided on what shades i wanted, it actually took me a day to decide (i know i know im so bad) but the colours all looked amazing
So finally i ended up just picking 3 shades (for now) to try them out
The Packaging is Fairly straight forward what i love is that the container holding they eye-liner is glass :) and when you open the lid you get a protective cover over it love that :) You are getting 3g of product which is amazing for the value.  You can see each shade underneath which is quite handy if you have a few of these in your collection and you are in a hurry to get makeup done I hate having to open multiple gel liners to get the right shade i want as everytime you open them you are letting bacteria in.
I had my eye on the shade "night" but when i went to buy the shade it said sold out.  It looks amazing i am determined to get it next time I shop.
So as you can see i got three shades
Onyx is your typical Black Shade i actually wasnt going to pick a black because i have enough black eyeliners but one more to the collection will not hurt and i have to say it is a great jet black shade

Lake oh wow wow wow is this shade fabulous This is a beautiful forest green shade with golden shimmer oh girlies if you want to make your eyes pop this is beautiful on the lower lash line and i have actually used this as a base for my eyeshadows :) i love it

Storm This is a beautiful dark purple and its matte i use this on days i dont want to use black eyeliners and of course i love it as its my favourite colour its amazing :)
These eyeliners are pretty darn good if you ask me.  They are so creamy and dont need any work in applying them.  There is no fear of them drying out too quick.  I found they lasted all day and stayed as vibrant as they did when i first applied them.  They are by no means waterproof but they are smudge proof :)  If you want to use them as a base i recommend using a primer for them as they will crease otherwise.  They are even suitable for people who suffer with sensitive eyes
I highly recommend you try these and have a look at all the shades they have its amazing :) I cant wait to stock up on more shades
& when i do i will of course share with all of you :)

Have you tried these out?
Well until next time
Take Care

July Glossybox 2012 Festival Season

Hey my Wonderful Beauties
How are you all doing :)
Today I am showing you what i got in my July Glossybox
I dont know about you guys (who get the glossybox) but i tend to steer clear of an videos or blog posts that reveal whats in the months box simply because i am after all paying 15 euro altogether for the box and like the whole surprise but the fact i am from Ireland , it means England Subscribers get theirs first.
So Most of you probably know at this stage whats in Julys box but hey i could have got something different to others we will see
The July box is based are the festival season :)
In this box I got 5 samples & 1 extra (I love getting extra's hehe)
Speaking of the extra let me show you what it was :)
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Gentle Hydrating Line Samples
Glossybox says:  The Visible Difference Gentle Hydrating line is the perfect treatment to offer an intense moisturisation for dry skins. This regime helps restore balance and promote hydration in skin’s surface levels while also removing impurities and providing moisture deep in the skin’s surface layers. The treatment primes the skin’s surface so it is prepped to receive & retain hydration throughout the day.
More is the pity that i can not try these as i have an allergy to Elizabeth Arden's Range for some particular reason :( but i will give these to someone who loves this range
Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics Lip Frosting
Glossybox says:  This cream gloss is perfect for all occasions. Scented in This cream gloss is perfect for all occasions. Scented in homemade pavlova, use it on your lips for a tint of colour, or dab onto cheeks for a lit-from-within glow
This is a full sized product at 10mls and it costs £10 boy oh boy a little expensive i thought to myself especially for a lip gloss.  The scent is suppose to smell like Irish Cream Pavlova eh no it doesnt smell like that but it does smell like bubble gum or icecream :) :) It is a very sweet smell which i doent mind whatsoever but if you dont like the sweety smell best not buy this :)  The lip gloss is quite thick and you would only need a pea sized amount to the lips, to be honest i would not put this on my face as it is a little on the shiny side but if you were stuck for a blush it would do.  The shade as you see it is a pinky shade with tiny specks of gold shimmer.  I like it on my lips it doesnt feel sticky but you know it will last a while on the lips.  I like it but not enough to pay £10 for to be honest.
The below picture is of the gloss rubbed into the skin
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse:
Glossybox says Effective by nature 98.1% of the ingredients in this Dry Oil are of natural origin, it is a unique combination of 30% Precious Plant Oils and Vitamin E to nourish, repair and soften your face, body and hair in a single step. Precious benefits for my skin Your face and body are left feeling soft and silky. Your hair is supple, sofeautit and shines with health.
To get 50mls of this it will cost £17.50
I actually first seen this in another brilliant Irish Beauty Blogger Leanne from Thunder And Threads Junes Favourite and was wondering about it since and then low and behold i get a sample in my glossybox :) :) Happy Days :)
I have to say this product is impressive :) I cant help but feel a little posh with this the packaging looks like you have paid alot for it and thats for sure.  The product itself i have only got to use it twice so i cant honestly give you my full opinion on it.  So my first impressions is very positive indeed !! Oh my even the scent smells oooo laa laa.  I actually can pinpoint the scent to be honest its a little sweet awwww boy does it smell beautiful :) :)
So far i have used this on my body, the oil take a little longer than a moisturiser to dry obviously as its an oil but when it does my skin feel silky smooth almost like babies skin.  I am actually quite amazed just how soft and dreamy my legs feel and look with this rubbed in on them.  The scent lingers lightly and my 10 year old hasnt stopped sniffing me since i started using it (im serious i could be in shops and she would be beside me and suddenly sniff me lol)  I will used it a little further as i have yet to try on my face and hair and i will end up doing a full review on this and more than likely end up buying it as i love it already.
AWAPUHI WILD GINGER Texturizing Sea Spray
Glossybox Says:  Lush waves and exotic texture
• Tousled, beachy texture
• Volume and touchable movement
• Enhanced waves, curls and definition
• Awapuhi extract balances moisture for a healthy-looking finish
I have yet to try this little bottle of joy (hopefully) I am planning to start tomorrow actually so will let you all know how i get on :) but the price of this is £18.95 for 150mls and the sample size as you see is 25mls :)
Monu Calming Cream:
Glossybox says:  This green-tinted cream works by neutralising the redness often noticed on the cheeks and chin area. This product is suitable for all skin types but especially for sensitive, distressed and irritated skins. As well as working to mask redness, the ingredient content will help to calm, soothe and heal the skin thanks to Horse Chestnut Seed Extract, Arnica, Bisabolol and Yarrow Extract, the added Rutin is renowned for the treatment of broken capillaries. Coconut oil will replace lost lipids and soften the skin plus Wheat Protein which is a rich sourse of vitamin E. Added protection from UVA and UVB rays help protect the skin and reduce skin damage.
This is £14.95 for 15mls to buy :)
This brand has been quite a regular in the glossybox since i have been getting it but to be honest the samples i have gotten so far from them i have liked but this one i havent really been eager to try out straight away as i been lucky do not suffer with redness or irritation to my face but i will of course keep it for some days that i might :) :)
Lastly is Bex London - W1X Urban Fragrance
Taken from the website:  Bex London Fragrances are contemporary, urban, and sought after by the discerning few. Each one captures a distinctly characterful part of town. Some are feminine, some are more masculine. All are essentially androgynous.

W1X is the first overtly feminine fragrance with in the Londoner portfolio. At its heart lies a sumptuous neo-vintage blend of rose, jasmine, iris and violet, wrapped around a base of precious woods and vanilla. This sophisticated fragrance is inspired by the opulence and high octane atmosphere of London's "West End".....a place where celebrity, music, high fashion and art merge together.
This Fragrance costs a whopping 102.27 euro for 100mls
I have never tried this brand before in fact i have actually never heard of this brand before so i was excited to try an expensive new fragrance and sprayed almost straight away.  This scent really didnt appeal to me to be honest but boy is it strong.  A little of this will go a long way and and bit i sprayed on me lasted literally all day.  I am not really a fan of vanilla and i could smell that straight away.  To be honest after about 4 hours of wearing it i warmed to it a little but people who smelled it off me asked me what it was :)

So that finally it everyone boy did i blab a bit in this post :)  That me all over though i am know to be a bit of a chatter box at times.  I hope i didnt set you all off to sleep.
So did you all get the same or did you get some other items.  I know there one product in the glossybox that i would have wanted and that was the HD Brows & eye set :( ah well
I have been impressed again with Glossybox they are stepping up in everything and long may it last :)
If you are interest in checking out the Glossybox site click here
They have offers going you can pay monthly 3 monthly 6 monthly and so on they have also come out with a men Glossybox so if you are stuck on what to buy a particular man in your life a present Why not try getting him one of them as its its the safest and best option :)
Until next time
I hope you all stay happy, safe and healthy
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

MUA Trio Eyeshadow Review

Hey my beauties How are you all doing :) :)
Wow I Cant not believe its August already where is the time going
I just realise the other day that there is only 21 weeks to Christmas
Craaaazzzy We are only finished buying new uniforms and school books and now we have to plan out Xmas
Anyways enough about that (sigh)
On a Positive note lol i am here today to do a long due review on these two little palettes :)
As you know from my reviews i love the single eyeshadows from MUA and the few palette i do own also.  So i really wanted to give these beauties a try i couldn't leave them out :) :) ;)
I purchased these two shades from the MUA site who do ship internationally :) There is 7 shades to choose from for only £2.50 each.  I wanted to try the more neutral shades first to see what they were like so i picked "Innocence" and "Chocolate Box" i actually played it safe because i heard good things about both of them :) :)
The packaging is pretty straight forward.  Very light weight yet sturdy as my kiddies have got their hands on them a couple of times and let them drop i found no damage done to them :)
You are also getting a little eyeshadow applicator one end is bigger and thicker than the other now to be honest i would dump and not use but i have seen some $20 challenge videos of people using them and having no choice only to use the applicator and it actually works out (with the help of your blending finger)
So on with the shades :)
Innocence is stated on the website as MUA's makeup artists favourite trio palette so i just had to get it to see what it was like :)  Plus i remember swatching these in Superdrug one day and one of the eyeshadows in this palette reminded me of a Particular Mac Eyeshadow which made me more excited to try it out :) Before i go on let me just tell you that all of these trios are shimmery there is not one matte eyeshadow in any of them
I love the idea of baked eyeshadows because you can use them dry or use them wet so you can literally have a day time look using them dry and intensify them by using them wet for a night time look
The lighest shade is a simple cream shimmery highlight shade which can actually be used on the cheek bone too :)
The Mid shade is a medium brown with a goldy undertone to it
and last but not least the Darkest shade (the most exciting shade in the palette) is a reddish brown with green metallic undertone to it.  I instantly reconised the shade when i swatched it and you would have paid to see me in the middle of superdrug the day i found it i was like a child on xmas morning This shade is a great dupe for Mac "Club" eyeshadow and the reason i know this is because "Club" has been on my wishlist for a long long time now and i just couldnt afford to buy it but now i have a cheaper alternative yeahhhhhhh :) :) if you google Mac Club you will see what i mean :) Then i realised MUA also has a Dupe of Mac "Club" in the single eyeshadows which is shade 12 which i have reviewed here so im delighted with that
I knew when i bought this one that i would like it as i seen a review by The Sunday Girl about it and her brilliant photos made me instantly want it in my collection.  I love this palette and anyone who loves their neutral shade will love it too
The Lighest shade is a beautiful well pigments peachy shade with golden undertones and fabulous warm toned shade :)
The Mid shade is medium brown with silver undertone to it but when aplied on the lid i found you could see purply undertones to it whatever way the sun hits it :) (I just love eyeshadows like that)
and the Darkest shade is a great chocolate brown with golden undertones to it :) :)
This is a great palette for a daytime smokey eye look
As you can see by the swatches i did swatches of them dry and wet to show you how great they are.  The swatches are lightly done and the more you build the more pigmented they are.  I have to admit they can be a little chalky especially chocolate box but i dont care for the price i am not one bit complaining about it :) :) Chocolate box is amazingly pigmented and a little goes a long way and of course you know i love my innocence palette hehehe :) :) these two palette is perfect for everyone as they are both neutral palettes.  The eyeshadows are amazingly soft and creamy and a pleasure to use.  With a good primer they last all day and i found they did not crease throughout the day.  Overall i dont regret buying these one bit i think they are brilliant quality for the price and well worth every penny
I plan to buy more of these in the future so keep an eye out for my reviews :)
Have you tried these eyeshadows?
Which is your favourite?
Until next time

Nina's Wednesday Whispers Week 2

Hey my my beauties how are you all doing :) :)
Its week 2 already i cant believe it :)
This week i actually just got 2 emails
One of those emails i was asked to keep one of the emails private so i can not publish that but i have been in contact with this person and given as much advice as possible to help them out :)
The other email i got is quite a good question its very short, sweet and straight to the point :) So here it is from a teen female

As a teen i find it really difficult dealing with the emotional roller coaster! How did you cope with your teenage years? how you dealt with teen life and how you coped with the teen emotions :)

This is a very good question and probably every teen in the world wonders the same.  I was a very different person as a teen to what i am now believe me.  I was so so quiet, kept to myself, barely talked to anyone about my feelings and emotions and found it hard at times to deal with them.  I first felt the change of my feelings when i was 11.  Life seemed to a little more serious at that time.  I found i was been treated a little different as to been given more responsibilities like doing more chores, been talked to a little different learning a little more about womanhood noticing your body changing noticing your hormones changing IT ALL SEEMS TOO MUCH AT TIMES AND VERY HARD TO TAKE IN.
Its only a little later in my teen years i learned how to cope with some of what i was going through so i will share with you a few tips in what i learned and should help you along the hardest days :) :)
The first tip which is vital to growing up in your teens is

  • ACCEPT YOUR ARE GROWING UP:  Lordy its hard to do that its hard to accept that we are growing up even now i find it hard and sometimes wish i was back in the teens but girl you gotta realise you are not a little kid who can push her prams around play with dollies and have literally everything handed to you.  You are big enough now to take care of your room etc and once you except that you will find it easier the older you get.  There is no point sitting wishing you were younger because ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN :) :)
  • LEARN TO DEAL WITH STRESS:  Yes Teens do go through stress and Anxiousness (Adults who have teens out there REMEMBER THIS) Body growing, family issues, more arguments with family, trying to fit in with all the girls who are growing with you, school, boys etc its all so new and stressful but if you try to learn to deal with the stress you can handle it alot better.  EXERCISE is great to release stress it doesnt have to be hard core maybe a run, a walk etc can clear your mind.   PUT YOURSELF IN TIMEOUT:  Some mothers use this technique with younger kids why not use it on yourself when you feel somedays are so stressful that you end up screaming and fighting with everyone and you feel like you are going to explode thats when timeout can help do it before the explosion.  Go to your room explain to your family that you need a little time to yourself put your favourite music and relax.  FIND SOMEONE/SOME PEOPLE TO TALK TO:  Finding someone you trust to talk to can be hard and yes we automatically think talking to our friends all the time will help YES IT DOES HELP AS THEY ARE GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING BUT THEY TOO ARE LEARNING SO THEY DONT ALWAYS HAVE THE ANSWERS!!!! SEEK SOMEONE WHO IS MUCH OLDER AND WISER (your mum, aunt etc you may think they dont understand but believe me they do and you may argue with them but believe me if you confided in them more they will understand more of what you are going through BELIEVE ME NOTHING IS MORE FRUSTRATING THAN NOT KNOWING WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE PERSON YOU LOVE THE MOST IN THE WORLD SO MANY MUMS HAVE SAID THEY ONLY WISH THEIR CHILD WOULD TALK TO THEM MORE) because at the end of the day they have been through it and have learned and can give great advice as they say "A PROBLEM SHARED IS A PROBLEM HALVED
  • TRYING YOUR BEST IS GOOD ENOUGH:  Lordy i remember been a teen i was always concentrating on making my family proud of me trying to work harder than i ever did just so i could get the grades they wanted me to get or becoming a doctor like my mum wanted me to be (for instance/ for an example) or my dad wanting me to be something else (for example) we get it in our heads that we should be who people want us to be and do what people want us to do just to make them proud GIRL YOUR PARENTS AND FAMILY ARE PROUD OF YOU NO MATTER WHAT OR HOW YOU DO BECAUSE THEY LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY always remember that make aims for you and no one else
Well i hope this helps you along your way i could write forever about this subject but id probably bore you to death lol.  If you have any question in particular about this subject please please ask me as im always here

Well i hope you enjoyed this weeks Wednesday Whispers
I didnt get alot of emails this week but i am hoping the people who did write to me was happy with the advice i gave.
Dont forget if you have any questions or advice your want from me
email me
dear-nina@hotmail.co.uk
I love to see them coming and will answer every last one :)
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO GET YOUR EMAILS IN AT THE LATEST TUESDAY :)
 Until next Wednesday Whispers Remember
A Problem shared is a problem halved :)
All the Best

My Lush Swap with Beauty bits & bobs

So Mary From Beauty bits & bobs and I were writing to each other on Facebook one day and she was telling me she spotted a lipstick from Catrice that she would love to get in time for her prom, that it would be so suitable for the type of make-up she was going to do.  Unfortunately Catrice is not available in England where she is from and i suggested to her as we are friends for a while now that i would get it for her and send it over :)  Thats where she suggested we do a swap and i thought YES id love to.  So i would send her over some goodies from Catrice and she would send me over items i cant get my hands on easily and the first thing i though of was LUSH :) because I only ever tried lush once (Shock) as The nearest Lush to me is about 40 miles away
So we agreed to spend £20 each and this is literally what i got :) :)
I told Mary i wasnt fussy about what she got me as i haven't really tried anything from there so i was curious to try anything :)
She chose to send me the Very Berry Gift Box which contained 5 items :) :) Oh the Scent of the package when it was handed to me by the postman was out of this world and i asked him was his van all smelly and nice he replied "yeah it smells girly lol"
Soooooooo what did i get in this box i hear you ask me :)
Lush state:
Very Berry is a rock star among our gifts; it seems all we have to say is ‘sweet blackberry fragrance’ and everyone has to get their mitts on one! Every product in this fruity box can be layered with the other; hop in the bath with fizzy Blackberry Bath Bomb, cherry infused Happy Blooming bath melt and The Comforter bubble bar. Wash with a slice of Sultana and soften with our hibiscus infused Strawberry Feels Forever. Voila! You’ll smell like freshly picked blackberries and cream.

In this little box of joy you are getting:
Blackberry Bath Bomb:  This is supposed to be the 1st ever bath bomb to be invented in 1989. Its the most bought bath bomb from Lush :)
So you will believe me when i say i loved every moment of my bath when i used this oh my goodness the beautiful fruity scent was amazing while it fizzed away in the water i could not wait to jump in.  My bath water had turn a lovely shade of purple My Favourite Colour :) I was actually expecting bubble but go none :( ah well :) Awww it was just heaven lying in fruity goodness i was so darn relaxed :) I slept like a baby that night :) and imagine i could still get the scent of blackberry in my bathroom the next morning :) :)
The Comforter:  Oh boy for the last 3 weeks especially i have been suffering alot with bad tension neck pain some days it gets so bad i end up getting migraine.  One of them days i needed a bath just to wind down and calm down and i had nothing for muscle pain.  So i thought i would give this little baby a go.  I wasnt expecting it to get rid of the tension pain but i expected it would do something for me as the name "The Comforter" had to stand for something eh? Or did it?
Well i threw this into the bath while it was running a low and behold i seen bubbles :) yeeeeeee Now i only used half of this as it was a good sized bar 200g to be precise and im so glad i did now.  The scent of this reminded me of my kiddies blackcurrant fruit juice :) :) the shade of the bath water was a lilac shade and well when i dived into the bath it was one of those moments where i literally slid down into "Comfort" oh my goodness the softness of the bubbles felt amazing and it literally felt like i was floating on clouds to tell you the truth i fell asleep in the bath for 20 minutes lol
I gave me such relief i actually felt like i had a full body massage and the tension had almost disappeared :) :) I am going the keep the other half until i have tension pains again and im looking forward to using it again :)
Strawberry Feels Forever:  Ok please do not laugh at me when i say this ok, you promise? But i actually thought that this was a soap and was actually planning on using it as a soap when i looked again at my card i got with the box a realised it said massage bar.  Now you can imagine how silly i felt lol ( well i am practically a Lush Virgin you know :)  Anyways this IS a massage bar mainly for dry skin but anyone can use this.  I dont think i have to tell you what scent you get from it :) :)
Lush state:  Massage bars serve double-duty as luxurious massage oil or after-shower body moisturizer. Glide the massage bar directly over dry skin; it will melt upon contact. Massage or rub the oils into the skin. As massage bars are made with natural butters and oils, take care to ensure they absorb completely before putting on your best silk pj’s. Massage bars melt at body temperature, so be sure to keep yours somewhere cool, dry and out of direct sunlight.
Oh my goodness the first time i used this i was amazed :)  I used this straight after coming out of my shower i rubbed this between my hands and indeed within second the heat from my hand melted enough from the bar to moisturise both my arms :) :)  This is so super moisturising that it take a little longer than my normal moisturiser to absorb actually it took about 10 minutes to completely absorb enough for me to get dressed :)  I liked how soft my skin felt after i used it and how sweet i smelled.  To be honest the only downfall i would have is that its kind of awkward to find somewhere to put it after using it but if you were a regular buyer of the massage bars you could buy a little container to store them in :)
Happy Blooming Bath Melt:   Now Guess what i actually figured out on my own that you get 3 baths for the price of one with this one (awww i bet you are all so proud of me hehehe)  lol
I havent actually got to use this yet but plan soon so i will let you all know how i get on :)
Sultana of soap:  It looks like a slice of cake doesnt it :) I wish :) or soft cheese :)
Anyway there is Dried apricots, Dried currants, cranberries & coconut oil along with other ingredients in this soap.  Apricots are rich in beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant, minerals and potassium,  Cranberries are known to contain anti-aging properties which is what we all like yes?  So you will understand it when i tell you that i love this soap.  Oh my goodness such a pleasure to wash with this little beauty everyday.  This is not like any ordinary soap you buy in your local store no way it gives the most incredible creamy lather and leaves your skin silky smooth mmmmm and the fruity scent is incredible this is definitely perfect for anyone who suffers dry skin as the coconut oil which is in this soap acts like a moisturiser so you will have no fear of feeling that horrible tightness when you jump out of your shower :)
Oh dear words cant even explain the enjoyment i have had in the last few weeks in my bathroom ;) lol But sure enough my enjoyment will soon be coming to an end as i am nearly finished my Lush adventure.  *Sniff*
I truth enjoyed every one of the products from this gift set.  If you are a fruity/sweet scent lover you will love these too :)
Thanks so much to Mary for doing this swap with me I really enjoyed trying all my new items :)
If you have a moment go check out her blog.  She took a little break away from it but planning on hitting back at it with a review on the items i sent her :) :)
Whats your favourite Lush product? I might get some ideas for when ever i do get to go there :)
Until next time

Catrice Made to Stay Highlighter Pen

Hey my Beauties.  I hope you are all well.
I hope you are getting some sunshine where-ever you are :)
Here in Ireland we are not getting much of a summer one day its sunny and the next few days with thundery showers.  I love to take pictures in the sunshine as they cant be more perfect but with out weather its so bloomin' hard.  If you saw me some mornings at 6 am if the sun is out im out taking pictures.  I was actually caught one morning in my nightie by the postman sitting on the ground outside organising items to take photos.  He looked at me like i had 50 heads lol ah well it has to be done and i love it :) :)
Anyways had a little ramble there back to business :) :)
Today's review is on the Catrice Made to Stay Highligher Pen.  This was first release here around May of this year :)

Catrice claims :
This Highlighter Pen is the ultimate must-have for every eye make-up look. The long-lasting creamy and powdery formula sets radiant highlights under your eyebrows or the outer and inner corners of your eyes. Application is totally easy and practical thanks to the retractable pen mechanism. A new highlight for highlights!

I can safely say this pen is AMAZING!!!! Just to ease the suspense :) but read on to find out more about it :)
Now the reason i got this in the first place was i wanted a highlighter for the inner corner of my eyes something quick and easy especially for the hot days and when im doing my "no makeup days".
This little beauty cost me the sum total of 3.75 euro which was darn cheap.  Now correct me if im wrong but i immediately thought to myself "why would they call it a pen???" like its more os a stick than a pen in my eyes but anyhuuuuu thats not an issue just thought id put that out there.
The packaging is pretty straight forward....a plastic pen with a good sturdy lid that clicks shut so no fear of it coming off in your bag.  To use you simply twist it so that the product twists up for usage :)
As i said very simply :)
What i love is that this is so so handy for travel or even placing in your purse :) :)
The product itself is a sort of pearly cream shade.  I thought it would come out darker on the skin as it looks dark in the package but i was wrong.  As you can see in the photo it turns out to be a lovely light creamy shade this photo is taken in natural sunlight.  I absolutely love this as i use it in my inner corner of my eyes, under my brow and sometimes even as a base for my eyeshadows.  I have even tried this on the tops of my cheek bones and it gives such a fabulous glow.
The texture feels pretty nice on the skin its creamy and soft and so easy to apply.  I use a brush to apply this then spread it out with my finger tips.  A little of this goes a long long way.
I also found that when this dries it lasts all day long when they stated the name "made to stay" it really does stay.
Now I dont have a problem with this but some people might but there is a little shimmer to this product.  I find i dont even notice it but i have been told by some people that they dislike the fact that there is shimmer in the highlight but i think that's what makes this product work :)
the above picture is the highlight completely blended out and taken in direct sunlight to show you how it looks on the skin :) :)
I am so happy i got this and i literally use it everyday mostly for the inner corner of my eyes it makes me look fresh and wide awake :)
Would i recommend this?  100% if you are looking for a good drug-store highlighter that lasts all day I definitely recommend trying this one :)
In this photo im wearing it in the inner corner of my eyes do you see how wide awake i look and believe me everyone i dont look like this without some help lol (well i do have 5 kiddies among and i roughly only get about 4 hours sleep a night)  :)   I actually dabbed a little on the middle on my lips to make them pop :)
:)
Well I hope you enjoyed this review everyone
Hope you are all well
Leave me some comments even if its just to say hello :)

George (Asda) Nail Polish

Hey my Beauties
How are you all :)
Well today I am going to show you a little collection of nail polishes from George (Asda)
Some of you will ask What or Where is Asda .
Well Asda is a British supermarket who sell food, clothing, toys literally everything its not only based in Britain but also in Northern Ireland.
Asda would be something like Walmart in America
It would also be like Aldi, Woolworths anyway you get the jist.
To tell you a little tail first :) My sister and i traditionally go to the North and do a huge food shop enough to do 2 months as we find it amazingly cheap there.  I mean yes we travel about 1 and half hours to shop there but its soooooo worth it.  The stores where we live is ridiculously expensive sometimes and when my twinnies were born there was no way i could afford to keep them fed and afford nappies/diapers etc for them with Asda
Put it this way i would get 3 packs of nappies/diapers in Asda for the same price as 1 pack where i live.  So now you know why i do this as i have 5 kiddies to feed and also parties etc to have so i stock up for so much less there :)
Anyway it takes my sister and I at least 3 hours to get around Asda its soooooo big :) :)
I love it :)
Along with everything Asda has they have their own little tiny makeup stand :) not to be honest the makeup i am not fussed about it would be good for little teens starting out but i am not one who would try it.  They do sell nail polishes which i have tried before and they are actually quite good
The last time i was there i came across new released polishes from there and very nearly passed them until my sister pointed out there was a new selection she showed me one and i was in awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I ended up putting 4 shades in my trolley :) :) Well for £1 each I couldn't resist
So enough chit chat lets show you the shades :)
Unfortunately this one doesn't have a name :( i hate when that happens i like my products to have names i don't know why it is maybe i feel there is more thought put into it or something or maybe its just when someone asks me about it i like to say brand and name of product (sorry I'm babbling again lol)
This was the one my sister showed me first and i fell in love with it.  This is an amazingly summery pink.  It has the tiniest specks of silver shimmer in it which makes it more noticeable.  It took 3 coats and a top coat to last 5 days before it started to chip.  Its such a bright cheerful shade and one of my favourites :)
Now this one has a name :) :)
"U the Sea" hmmmm the name is not exactly original but hey its a name :)
This is more of a jewel toned polish and a fabulous teal/green shade this is very flattering and very noticeable.  It took 3 coats and with a topcoat lasted a week before chipping not bad eh?
"Hoax" well what can i say purple i just love purples even though this was more cool toned on my hands i still loved how it looked :) this took again 3 coats and a good top coat to last a full week on my nails.  This was actually hard to get a good photo of as when i would take the photo it would come out different to what it really looked like for instance this one above is with flash and the one below is in natural sunlight
This picture is more like it as you can see this too have teeny tiny specks of silver in it :)
"Trick"  This is a beautiful Fuchsia Pink Oh boy is this beautiful in person.  This photo is taken in direct sunlight you would get away with only 2 coats of this but i put 3 just because i want it to last a good while :) :) I think this is really pretty and compliments my tanned hands.  Instead of putting a clear top coat on it i decided as it was such a beautiful sunny day i would jazz it up a little :)
So i used a nail polish i got this week in fact i won it in a little giveaway and couldn't wait to use it as i never tried it before.

Oh I Just Love it i will review the Topcoat soon But doesn't it look FAB!!!!
Now for my overall opinion of these nail polishes is if you can get your hands on them don't pass them.  For £1 they do more than their moneys worth to be honest.  No they are not perfect but they are great for budget priced.  The shades are exciting and up to date :)   You only need 2 to 3 coats to get good colour payoff.  The brush is quite thin and a little flimzy but you actually get used to it fairly quickly.  They dry very quick too even after 3rd coat which i love as i don't have time to sit around for an hour while my nails dry lol

Well that's it for now my beauties
I am sure i will have future post on more polishes from this brand so keep an eye out for that
:)
Have you tried Asda's own brand nail polishes
If so which is your favourite
Until next time
