Palladio Herbal Tinted Lip Balm & More Review

Incase some of you have never heard of Palladio I will give you a little insight in what it is:

This is my little collection 

The First time i heard of this company was from the famous Emily Noel 83 aka The Beauty Broadcaster  .  She loves the Palladio range especially the Herbal Lip Balms.  Please have a look at my video review on these and then My pictures and swatches below:

"Bronzy Pink, Golden Pink, Cotton Candy & Rosey

As i Stated above i went with Emily's word and ordered the shades she had as i liked the look of them in her swatches.  I was supper excited to try them out and i searched high and low to try and get them.  I finally found them and got them.   They were available on the Makeup Geek Site for $3.89/€3/£2.50 each they also ship internationally.  When i got them in the post i was so excited to try them and fell in love straight away.  Now i bet your think "What she so excited about lip balm for and why these ones in particular" well believe me i have never come across lip balms like these i tell you :) :) 

Bronzy Pink

This is a Fantastic shade.....It gives a beautiful bronzed shade on the lips and has a slight golden shimmer to it.  This is such a pretty summery shade and when the sun hits it you lips look amazing.

Golden Pink 

This is another beautiful shade........This is definitely true to its name is a beautiful pink with golden shimmer the shimmer compliments the shade and your lips i love it.  It sort of gives a frosty finish.  

 Cotton Candy 

This is a lovely natural baby pink shade again with a tad of shimmer.....not as much shimmer as the other two but does give the MLBB look.  Its pretty sheer but still noticeable on the lips 

Rosey 

This shade is perfect for anyone who is a little intimidated by a red lip......I know alot of people who would love to wear a red lip but just not sure about it......This gorgeous shade gives you the red look but not a strong one this would suit any skin tone i love it.  I have found this has a slight goldy undertone to it i looks fantastic i love it.  

My overall opinion 

As im sure you have guess i am super impressed with these tinted lip balms.  They are incredibly moisturising and even after they start wearing off they still tend to leave a slight colour especially the "rosey" one.  I love that they dont leave any gross lines behind and the fact they are soft and easy to apply is an extra.  What i love more is the ingredient they have in them for example  coconut oil glicerides, shea butter and herbal extracts which are all good.  They are perfect for the winter and summer months too as the have UV filters in them.  So i definitely give these a 5/5 love them.

Vermouth, Pink ice and Pink Frost

It is actually stated that these are compared the Mac Lip liners and are even better.  I dont know as i have never tried a Mac Lip liner.  Thats saying alot about these though.  My experience with these Lip liners are good but i did find that if they are in a cool room they are hard to apply to the lips....i usually warm them up first and that works out for me.  They are super long lasting especially if you use these as a base or even as a lippie for the day with a little gloss over them they look incredible.  Pink Ice and Pink Frost are a perfect shade for a bridal look or MLBB look.     Pink Frost is a nice cool pink but not too frosty.  Pink Ice is a beautiful pink with silver shimmer to it really really pretty.  Vermouth is a great shade for Autumn but also good for anytime of the year.  Its a beautiful wine shade with a brownish undertone to it.  

I got these off the makeup geek store for only $.99 each not bad i tell you :) :) 

Palladio Clear Brow Gel

Clear brow gel can be used to set eye brows or to naturally enhance the eye lashes. Perfect for keeping those stray hairs in place!  and i have to say it works perfectly.  The seperate brush on the bottom side is so handy and the brush with the gel is brilliant.  I used this on my eyelashes some days when i dont want to wear mascara and it makes my eyelashes look great.  This most me $5.89 well worth it.

The London Collection

I Say:  This is my least Favourite Palette to be honest.  I found it to be very chalky and messy but the colours are nice with a really good primer this could be used.  The blushes are ok also a little chalky and messy.  This is just my own opinion but i found these extremely hard to work with.  :) Here is the Swatches so i will let you decided yourself :)

The New York Collection

The combination of six eyeshadows in blue, smokey turquoise and mauve is also a dream and totally captures the essence of New York’s energy-laden atmosphere! The two lively rouge shades give your New York look a fresh touch. Intense, impulsive and totally hip.

I Say:  This is a lovely palette.  All the shades on this is named after all the sites in New York.  This is a Perfect Palette for this time of the year (winter) as there is alot of cool tones in it.  I love the Blushes as they are very wearable they are not too strong But they are buildable.  There is only one Matte shade in this palette which is the Rockefeller Center Eyeshadow the rest are shimmery.  In all this palette is well worth its money only downfall is that some of the shadows are a little chalky.   This is my Favourite one as Its has the perfect colours to make my eyes pop its perfect for Hazel/green eyes but of course for anyone who likes purples and greens :)

 The Berlin Collection

Just as unconventional and fascinating: the six eyeshadow colors come in warm sand, brown, grey-blue and taupe shades - some with shimmering, others with matt effects – for a perfect autumn trend look! 

I Say:   Again this Palette is Beautiful.  I Love Autumn Shades to be honest.  I think anyone could wear these colours and get away with it.  I actually found this palette the most pigmented even without a primer.  Again with a good primer they will last all day .  The first two eyeshadows need a little layering, the next two are really creamy texture but a little chalky and the last two is sort of sheer but buildable.  I love the first blush it gives a fantastic glow and the second blush is a little sheer but buildable it will suit anyone with fair skin.  In all this palette is worth trying :) :) I love it.

The Sydney Collection 

Catrice Says:  Life in Sydney mainly takes place on the beach – and the beach parties are endless! A high-spirited mix of surfers, city beaus, tradition, culture and modern life.

Its essence: the warm colors of the sun setting on the horizon for a touch of casual urban chic: The six eye shadows in rosé, nude, taupe and brown shades with shimmering as well as matt effects meet upon two natural rouge versions in rosewood.

i Say:   This is again a nice Palette not overly exciting.  There is a nice mixture of neutral and purple shades perfect for everyday.  There is only one matte shade the rest are shimmery.  This again is a little chalky but very pigmented.  These shadows are especially easy to blend together .  The blushes again are nicely pigmented and buildable one is shimmery the other is matte.  This Makeup Palette is worth its money too.  The colours are fab. 

My overall Opinion 

I think these Makeup Palettes are really worth trying out.  I think if you tried one or two thats enough in my opinion.  This is no point in splashing out on all four.  Just check out swatches and pictures and people opinions before purchasing so that you wont be disappointed with them.  They are great and im glad i have them as the eyeshadows is not available in the single eyeshadows collection so its nice to have them shades.  They are really pretty but the downfall is that some of the are chalky and can make a little mess but for the value and the pigmentation of most of the for €7.99 im far from complaining.  Like if you work it out you are getting 6 good sized eyeshadows, 2 blushes and an eye-liner thats not actually that easy to use the price is nothing.   I say try at least one of them out as they are very handy for travel or bringing along with you to your girlfriends house to get ready for a night out

I Really hope you enjoyed my video review and found it helpful :) so i will give a brief review below for anyone who cant view or watch my video below

e.l.f Studio Bronzer 

e.l.f says:  Create a healthy looking glow all year round! The sheer soft powders provide the perfect hue of color. Blend all 4 colors together to achieve a blend of perfection or choose your favorite color or colors to mix, match and blend.

Warm Bronzer- The warm shimmer that will bring a glow to your face. Ideal for summer or year-round.
Cool Bronzer- The ideal selection of matte colors to achieve a natural looking tan. Ideal for winter or year-round.
Golden Bronzer- An illuminating shimmer that is subtle and radiant. Ideal for summer or year-round.

These Bronzers are only £3.50/$3/€3.80 each and are available on eyelipsface.co.uk and eyeslipsface.com.  You are getting 0.433oz- 12.5g in the Warm & Golden Bronzer and 0.45oz - 13g in the Cool Bronzer which is not much difference but i said i would include that information for you :) :)

I thought when i chose this first that it would be perfect for my skin tone as it seemed to be light enough.  When choosing this i was looking for an everyday bronzer that was light but a little on the noticeable side.  This is where i was very disappointed as this was the first one i bought and unfortunately too light for my skin tone.  

Dont get me wrong this bronzer is a fantastic bronzer especially for anyone with very pale skin but im more fare to medium skin tone and i dont really get any colour pay off from it but i do use this for a highlight be it for my cheeks, eyebrow whatever or where ever i want highlighting.  There is shimmer in this so if you are looking for a matte bronze this isnt for you but it will give a beautiful golden sunkissed glow to anyone who has very pale skin 

This picture is taken in the sunlight as i couldnt get a proper show up photo as it wasnt showing up on my skin.  But you will see 4 swatches and then a round swatch of all colours blended in 

Warm Bronzer 

Now this is my go to bronzer i love it.  Alot say that there is not much difference is this one and the Golden Bronzer but there is this one is a little darker.  Again if you are looking for a matte bronzer this is not for you.  This will suit anyone with fair to medium skintone.  Anyone with a medium to dark skintone will not find any colour payoff from this maybe more of a highlight.   The shimmer in this bronzer give you such a beautiful healthy sun-kissed glow.  I love it i use all four shades together with my e.l.f Powder Brush from the studio line.  This is especially perfect in the summer.  Its so natural even with the shimmer and not overly pigment so you have no fear of over doing it.  Its buildable and easy to use.  The best thing about this is there is no need to add highlighter on your cheeks as you get enough from this. 

Cool Bronzer 

Now this is super dark for me.  Its so so pigmented even with a light hand i look like ive played in mud with the little piggys lol.  But this is absolutely perfect for a woman of colour.  Not only that but its the only Matte bronzer from this selection.  I am not one to waste anything i get and i will and do use this sometimes.  I use the pinky square sometimes as a blush, i use the more lighter brown on this palette for a contour lightly as it gives my face a little definition.  The darker brown i use if i was going on a night out as i would be wearing a darker foundation so it works well for that.   I use the white as a brow highlight.  Some people even use these shades as eyeshadows.

If i was asked would i buy this again i wouldnt really say no as though it doesnt work for me as a bronzer it works for me for all the other ways i use it so i might just buy it again when i run out.

  

I Think overall these Bronzers are amazing as they each will suit someone but if you are looking for a particular bronzer for whatever needs you have you are better off looking for reviews on each of them to see what is the best one for you....The price for these are incredible and they are very long lasting.  My least favourite out of all is the Golden one as its only good for a highlighter for me.
