EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm Review including New Flavour Blueberry Acai

Hello My beauties How are you all today.
Ever since these little beauties where available to buy I have been hooked on them.  I actually can not believe that it has taken me this long to review them but better late than never eh.  Plus its not news that these little beauties are around because they have been part of the beauty industry for quite some time and there are plenty of reviews out there about them.  You can be guaranteed that you will surely see some beauty guru's favourites posts or videos stating one of these are their favourites.  Plus Huge stars like Kim Kardashian and One Direction for example are always snapped using them.
Well I thought seeing as I have just stocked up on more I should put in a little post of what I think of them :)
I have already went through one of these and have one in my bag for a while now actually I first tried these about a year ago now so I can give you a good insight into what I think of them.

For those of you who haven't heard about this lip balm.  EOS stands for Evolution Of Smooth.  EOS is designed to give you complete moisture to your lips plus give you protection and soothing from the added vitamin C in each balm.  EOS lip balms are 95% Organic and 100% Natural with ingredients such as Jojoba oil which is designed to give you long lasting hydration and Shea Butter which is designed to moisturise and soften the lips.  The added bonus of these balms is the sphere shape they have an easy grip and also have some amazing colours for each balm.  On the bottom of each balm is a flat areas in which you can place the balm on your dress the right way up.  Imagine having all 7 flavours lined up on your dresser all different colours that would be so cute and cool :) :) #

As mentioned above I have already tried 2 flavours of these which was Lemon Drop (yellow).  This one smells of lemon and its the only on with SPF 15 in it and Summer Fruits (red) which smells of fruit cocktail.  I am still using Summer Fruits and love it :)
Now I have added 3 more to my collection
Sweet Mint with is the turquoise one definitely smells of mint and feels very refreshing on the lips
Strawberry Sorbet which is the pink one oh yummy yummy yummy it smells good enough to eat truly it does
and lastly Blueberry Acai which is the blue one and also a new edition this one surely smells like blueberries and is good enough to eat :)

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this product I love the packaging its so ideal as it keeps the balm hygienic   Not only that when the kiddies get a hold of it and mistake it as a ball like mine do it doesn't break as it smash proof :) :)
I have found myself reaching for these quite alot lately with the cold weather coming in and the fact they keep my lips moist for a long time leaves me not worrying about my lips getting chapped and sore.  I love to use this to prep my lips for lipstick also as it puts a barrier around my lips especially for lipsticks that leaves a stain :) :)  They leave a nice semi matte finish to your lips which make them look healthy and kissable.
The best thing about it is its super cheap and affordable and worth every cent for less than €7 from Beauty Emporium they last an extremely long time :) :)  Did I mention they smell great :) :)  I will surely be building up my EOS collection and getting some for my kiddies for school for the winter :)
Have you tried these yet?
What's your favour flavour?
Until Next Time

Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer

Hey my beauties How are you all doing today :) :)
Todays review is on the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer
Eyeshadow Primers We are always on the look out for great eyeshadow primer that perform they way they should and also is easy on the pocket.   I have to admit I have tried a few budget friendly primers and 2 high end primers and use them all the time.  My current favourite budget friendly eyeshadow primer is by e.l.f Cosmetics (not the mineral line but the essential line) and my favourite high end one is the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer.  Realistic Urban Decay is very pricey and its hard to part with so much money for it alot of the time and e.l.f is and online store in which not everybody can get.  So I wanted to try out a primer that is easier to get and is available to almost everyone.  So I opted for Rimmel for my first try out :)

Rimmel London Undercover Shadow Primer is our first primer base that will reinvent your eye shadow! The lightweight silicone formula preps and smoothes lids.18-hour wear, crease-proof, smudge proof guarantee!

I purchased this from boots.ie and it cost €6.49 for 6mls of product not a bad price at all :)
The primer comes in a tube with a doe foot application for easy application.  I love the packaging as its eye catching and funky :)
First of all the primer comes out white instead of skintone colour like all the primers i have tried.  To be honest i like to use skin coloured primers because I have a little darkness on the lids and it helps conceal aswell as prime.  But putting that aside the White primer from this primer is light and blends out into nothing.  Automatically I noticed that i could see the darkness of my lids through this so unless I conceal my lids before hand this does nothing for me.

The consistency is thin and blends out very very well.   It feels smooth on the skin and certainly preps your eyes for your eyeshadow.  The one thing I have to say is that if you have any allergies to silicone you need to test this first before applying onto your eyes.

My experience with this primer has been 50/50.  This is just from my experience I found this primer disappointing in a way.  What i look for from a primer is a) making my eyeshadows last all day and b) intensifying my eyeshadows.  I found this primer did neither to be honest.  It most certainly does not intensity eyeshadows but it does allow chalky eyeshadows to cause less fall out.  If you suffer with oily lids you will not find this primer any good as I found it made my eyeshadows fade alot.  I even tried this primer under my Naked Palette shadows and my Lorac Palette shadows and and it too faded them.  I do find this good on lids that are less oily as I for sure tested that out on somebody else and they did report back that their eyeshadows lasted all day long.
Overall this primer is good for people who have no discolouration on the lids, non oily lids and just need something to make your eye shadows last all day.  Especially teens or anyone in their early 20's.   For anyone else I think this would disappoint.
So thats my review for today I hope you found this helpful and if you have tried this before let me know what you think
Until next time

MUA New Matte Lipsticks

Hello Everyone  :)
How are you all today :)
Well todays review is on the the New MUA Matte Lipsticks.  I couldnt resist as I do love Matte Lipsticks.
I am very cautious when it comes to buying matte lipsticks because I have had experience with some brands that they are just way too drying or that they are hard to apply or that they look patchy on the lips I just hate that.  I have found a brand so far that is affordable and that do amazing Matte Lipsticks but there is always a want to try other brands for comparison both in price and in quality.
MUA Matte lipsticks are only £1 each which is a super super bargain and a price not to be beaten in my eyes.
MUA has also changed the packaging a little on their matte lipsticks.  Their normal range you will find that their lipsticks are a black tube whereas this range (the matte range) has a white tube which is always nice to have a little change.  Plus its easier to pick out amongst the massive collection of lipsticks we girlies already own (yes you and me and all the beauty addicts out their lol).

There are 5 shades in total
There is:  Wild Berry which is a deep blackcurrant shade
Scarlet Siren which is a a bright red
Pouty Pink which is a bright pink and then there is the 2 I decided to go with which are Peachy Keen and Totally Nude

Peachy Keen is a Peachy coraly shade with pink undertones If you have pigmented lips this will look more on the pinker side than peach.  I found this shade quite sheer but buildable and very very pretty for an everyday wear lipstick
Totally Nude:  Don't judge the lipstick buy the tube honestly this is not as pale as it looks so all you pale girlies don't be scared because this will not wash you out.  There is a slight tint of pink in this nude lipstick which is probably why this doesn't wash you out.  Again this is sheer but buildable

I have to admit I might have had alot more expectations for these lipstick than I admit as I presumed the fact that they are matte, they were going to be booming with pigmentation.  I hate to admit it now but I was wrong.  I think I picked the sheerest shades out of the 5 as they are the lightest shades but I did expect more pigmentation from them than what I got.
My first impressions where not at all great either because when i first applied these to my lips they felt and looked greasy.  They also looked patchy which disappointed me.
Then I tried the lipsticks after ex foliating my lips and apply a bit a lip balm and they applied alot better plus looked better on the lips :)
I also found them non drying while wearing them which is always a bonus when it comes to matte lipstick they last pretty well too.

For a £1 lipstick these perform pretty well for a matte lipstick.  I think If you are not into deep matte shades or if you are trying to introduce yourself to matte lipsticks they are perfect for you.  Me?  They will not replace my favourite matte lippies but they are a not a no no for me either after all they are super affordable and handy to have for an everyday lipstick :)
Have you tried these yet?
Until next time

GOOD THINGS SKINCARE REVIEW

Hello My Gorgeous Beautiful Readers How are you all today :) :)
Well now that its coming into the colder harder weather I have noticed my skin has changed alot as im sure alot of you out there have too.  Let me tell you something I was never one to suffer with acne on my face, even as a teen I had very little amount on my face but more on my back and chest for some reason.  I have recently noticed that my skin has become more acne prone and more oily on the T-zone which is very very strange.  They do say that your skin can change when you get older but to be honest in the past month I have been suffering with breakouts alot around my mouth and chin area.  Its so annoying especially when you are not used to it and my 25 year old sister is suffering the very same thing.  So I thought it was time to change from my normal skincare products which was always Nivea,  I still love but change could be the answer to my problems.  When Beauty Emporium announced they were bringing in a new brand onto their website full of skincare products (which they stated was going to be super affordable) I waited anxiously for them to come in so I could try it out :)   Finally I got my Email I was waiting for :) :)
Let me tell you a little about the Brand before I go onto the review :)

Why GOOD THINGS?
Good Things Skin care was created by Alice Hart-Davis a British Journalist and an Author of 2 teen beauty books.  She is a great believer in taking good care of your skin from a very young age and has developed Good Things based on her beliefs.  According to her philosophy her products are aimed at young skin to get them used to looking after their skin without the harshness of harmful chemicals and also to help with their problematic skin as they go through their teen years.  To be honest I think these products are for anyone who suffers with the same type of skin complaints as a teen, be it oily skin,  acne prone and of course sensitivity.
For more information behind this brand click here to take you straight to Good Things Website :)   I have to mention the packaging isnt it sooooo girly bright and cheerful :) :)

Good Things Fresh Start Creamy Cleanser
I wanted to find something I could used twice a day morning and night to take away all the bad stuff off my face as I mentioned above i have been suffering with an extremely oily t-zone which I am not used to and I feel grubby on my bad days as you do especially when we wear makeup on top of that so I opted for the Fresh start Creamy Cleanser which only cost €6.69 from Beauty Emporium.  You are getting 150mls of product for that price which is super cheap :)
With active ingredients such as Grape Seed oil which is there to remove any unwanted dirt and makeup from your face without stripping all your natural oils with it
Cactus Stem which is an antioxidant
Mango Seed oil which helps moisturise the skin and is also full of vitamins, the list goes on and on, I know that this little bundle is going to be gentle on my skin (after all I am going to be using it twice a day) and also help cleanse my face without been harsh on it.

Let me tell you it has been a pleasure using this product everyday.  I simply apply all over my face and neck leave it for a minute and use my cloth steeping in medium to hot water and rub it off.  The results were very surprising.  I instantly felt cleansed and fresh and to be honest not even feeling the need to use a toner afterward thats how clean my face felt.  The scent of this product is amazing and good enough to eat and most of all my face did not feel tight after using it.  I have even put this to the test on removing a full face of makeup.  It was like the product completely melted the makeup off my face.  I love this product and its become a new love of mine for sure.

Good Things Skincare Face the Day Moisturiser
Next up is the Face the Day Moisturiser with SPF 15.  This costs €10.69 for 100mls of product which again is a brilliant price for what you are getting.  I had just run out of my day time moisturiser so it was perfect timing to try this one out :)
What impressed me was again the ingredients :)
Goji Berry is a tonic for your skin as they both calm the skin with an anti-inflammatory action, and help energise it.  There is also Mango Seed Oil, papaya and cactus stem along with other natural ingredients I love it.
The scent of this moisturiser is amazing.  Its sweet but not overpowering and lingers there almost half of the day.  I have even been complimented on how good my face smells after a few hugs here and there :) :)
What I love about this moisturiser is that its not too thick or thin its just right and you only need a small amount to moisturise your face and neck.
When you apply this first you have about a few seconds to blend into your face and then you will notice the feeling of stickiness before it soaks in completely.  I love that you dont have to wait too long before it dries in completely especially in the mornings when you are in a hurry and need to apply your makeup ASAP.    My face feels smooth and soft and moisturised all day long. It also leaves a nice semi dewy finish to my face which leave my face looking fresh and ready for the day especially on my no makeup days.
I will surely be buying this again :)

Good Things Skincare Deep Pore Anti Blemish Lotion
As I mentioned above I have been suffering with breakouts alot lately and I have found using toners can sometime irritate my blemishes more due to some ingredients in them especially if there is alcohol in it.
I am also too used to using a toner so I thought I would give this a try to see will it be easier on my skin when I do suffer with break outs.
For 200 mls you are paying €6.69 which again is very very affordable.  I was super excited to try this again because of what Good Things claim that This 2-in-1 cleanser and toner helps to unclog pores and remove excess sebum without stripping your skin of natural oils. It will take your make-up off too, and in addition to fig and wild strawberry, it has willow bark and licorice extract which help keep bacteria at bay.
This not only is a cleanser and toner but it also is suppose to fight against those horrible nasties that pop up on you face
Well let me tell you this is really really good at removing any makeup that is left behind after washing your face.  Even using this the next morning you will still notice dirt coming off your face yuk.  I did also notice it stung a little around my blemishes which is a sure sign it is doing something to heal them
After using this I noticed after 3 days my blemishes seemed to have calmed down alot :)
Another good thing I noticed after using this is I didnt feel my skin was dried out and tightened like some toners can do which is amazing actually after using this one night I got distracted by one of my kiddies before applying my moisturiser and it only dawned on me the next morn I forgot to apply my moisturiser !!!!! Now normally after I use some toners I never forget because I always get that tight dry feeling and I automatically have to apply moisturiser to feel some relief
I really like the scent from it too it smells really fruity.
I have even used this around my eye area and it had not effect on my eyes whatsoever I love it :)

Out of all three products I have tried so far the Cleanser is my favourite at the moment I am amazed at how good it is removing makeup and unnoticeable dirty from my face aswell as the fresh feeling I get after I use it I highly recommend it for sure.
I will surely be trying out more products from this brand and I will be purchasing this for my tween daughter who is now suffering from breakouts and oily skin
You can purchase this range from Good Things website, Beauty Emporium and even Boots and Boots stores
I hope you found this review helpful
Until next time

MUA New Matte Palette

Hello Everybody How are you all doing today :)
Well my Sunday so far is a Lazy one (well kind of)  I haven't left the house and I am still in my PJ's at 3.16pm ah well its cold and windy and I just shaved my legs so I don't fancy the windy travelling up my trouser legs lol :) :)
Any ways back to my review :) ;)
Today I have yet another brand new palette to show you by MUA :)  If you missed out on my latest review on the MUA Smokin Palette which is also new You can check it out here and sin the review you will see that I LOVE THAT PALETTE.  Has this palette impressed me as much??? Well read on to find out more.

I am not going to go into the whole package thing as you can all see MUA stick to the same packaging for every palette.  What MUA has done this time is listened to their fans by creating their first ever Matte eye shadow palette.  It is lovely to get palettes that are a mix of shimmery and matte shades but finding a full matte eye shadow palette is every hard to find.  That's why i think I love my Lorac Pro palette so so much.  On the Lorac Palette you have one row which is nothing but matte shades and another row with shimmery ones and I find that brilliant and so so handy.
It is also so hard to find matte shades that are easy to work with, easy to blend and of course pigmented especially from a drug store brand.
Well let me tell you now ladies Look no further because MUA has created another brilliant palette here for only £4/€4.73 YES for a total of 10 eye shadows you are paying peanuts for this palette :)

Another thing they have nailed in the right spot is that they have made this palette for everybody.  As its full of neutral shades both warm and cool this palette is the perfect day time and night time smokey eye palette :)  And of course after me buying this like before the wonderful Cherry Sue found that this palette is a perfect dupe to a high end palette The Urban Decay Naked Basics Check it out :) :)   She has shown that not only are you getting all 6 shades of the UD Naked Basics but you are also getting 4 more shades on top of that for a 1/3 of the price
Liking the sound of that aren't we ladies :) :)  So let me show you the shades :) :)

I Love that all of the eye-shadows have a name on them and a very good name too might I add :)
Unwrap:  This is a gone off white its not entirely white but its in-between white and cream a perfect shade for a base or to brighten up the inner corner or even as a brow-bone shade that doesn't look obvious but still brightens at the same time
Butter:  This is certainly the perfect name for this shade.  This shade is a yellowy cream shade and some of you may think hmmmmm this is different but in fact if you are a suffer of dark lids this shade is the perfect shade for you as its instantly camouflages the darkness making you lids look more bright and cheerful.
Bare:  A nude shade perfect for blending, wearing on its own or as a base colour.  Its not so much great for brightening up the inner corners but We already have a shade for that right :)
Taffeta:  This shade in particular looks exactly like Bare when you see it in the pan and actually swatching it you would think they were very similar , but this shade is more on the peach side and another perfect base colour and also good for blending
Fade:  Awww i love the name again well suited for the shade.  This is a light brown shade perfect for blending out the harsh lines making the "Fade" away and this is also a perfect brow shade for the blonde ladies out there :)
Penny:  This shade is more for the crease for definition without making it look obvious if you were having those "Non Makeup Days"  Its the perfect Medium brown and also a great colour for brows.
Chino:  A Perfect taupe shade for blending out harsh lines for the crease for a little touch of definition.  You simply cant go wrong with this shade as it will be used alot :)
Truffle:  Awwww one of my favourite shades :)  A Deep chocolate Brown with a slight mauvey undertone to it.  Perfect for the crease or outer V just beautiful for creating that night time (or daytime) smokey look
Fog:  A Bluey Grey shade perfect for giving you look a pop of colour i love it
Smoke:  A Simple jet black shade simply beautiful and again shockingly good :)

And here is the shade taken with the flash of the camera plus can i add all these swatches a made with no primer or no base underneath

I am stunned with how smooth and soft these shadows are.  They are amazingly pigmented for a drugstore brand and what's better is that they take very little effort to blend out especially the darker shades.  I did find you will have some fallout with them but nothing major.  With a good primer These shadows are going to stay put all day long until you take them off.  The black shade is also great to use as a liner wet or dry in the picture below I created a simple light daytime smokey eye using the shades
"unwrap" on the inner corner and browbone,
"Taffeta" all over the lidup to a little over the crease,
"Fade" for blending
"Truffle" for the crease and outer corner
"Smoke" a little on the outer V and as a liner (wet)

I 100% recommend this palette to you all.  If you are not a matte eye-shadow person keep in mind that this palette is still brilliant to used for the likes of blending, doing a makeup look on someone with hooded eyes even doing your mums or grandmums eyes as matte shadows complimented a woman of age more than shimmery ones :)
Another thumbs up to MUA for creating yet another amazing palette well done :)
Have you tried this palette yet?  What are your thoughts on it
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

MUA Smokin Palette

Hellooo My Beauties How are you all today :)
I am super dee Dooper Now that I have another product rave for you :)  Ok Ok I may be spoiling the review already by telling you this but I am too excited :) :)
MUA is one of my most favourite affordable brands and as you know I have quite a few products reviewed from this brand but the moment something new comes in I just have to try it out.  Well MUA announce a little under 2 weeks ago that they just released 2 brand new palettes one was this one which is the Smokin Palette and the 2nd is the The Matte Ever After Palette which I too bought and will review soon :) :)
They also released a few more items which of course I just had to try out :)
Today I am sharing with you the Smokin Palette as this is the first one I had to try out first the Jewel toned shades were just calling out to me to try :)

Ok The packaging is basically the same as all the rest of the MUA palette black plastic with clear lid to see the shades :) :)
Inside you are getting 10 eyeshadows and 1 eye pencil all for as little as £6/€7.11.  What I Love about this palette is each shade has a name
You can purchase this straight from the MUA Store

As I mentioned above there are the total of 10 eyeshadows and I love how big they are in this palette for the price you are getting 10 generous sized eyeshadow which are going to last a long time.  Starting with the top left size you are getting :
  • Glory:  Which is a perfect cream nude shade and the best thing about it is that its matte.  This is perfect for blending out harsh lines, as a base and as a matte highlight This shade is super pigmented for a nude shade I love it
  • Bourdoir:  This is another perfect nude shade and again matte.  Its a nice peachy creamy shade and almost none existant on the skin a perfect shade for blending out harsh lines and to use as a sheer highlight
  • Ghost:  oh I am in love with this shade really I am.  The shade is a beautiful jewelled toned taupey shade.  I have already worn this on the lid and it looks amazing and catches the eye easily.  The pigmentation from this shadow is amazing more than amazing its shocking a little goes a long long way :) :)
  • Fantasy:  This is another Matte shade for us all A deep brown.  I do detect a slight mauvey undertone to this shadow which is quite a surprise as it looks like a simple chocolate brown in the pan.  This is super pigmented and very very easy to blend.  A perfect crease and outer corner shade
  • Mythical:  This is described as a Black Charcoal on the site to me its a very very good Jet Black shade and whats great about it is that its matte.  I was especially worried about this one as noramlly matte black from an affordable brand is hard to work with.  This shade take very little effort to work with.  What I love about this is using it with a damp liner brush and using it as a liner WOW the pigmentation is unbelievable and easily mistaken as an actually liner
  • Broken:  Oh here is another favourite of mine I love love love it and its a perfect shade for Autumn.  A Beautiful metallic brown is what you are getting out of this shade, there is also a slight burgundy undertone to it LOVE IT
  • Icon:  Oh another favourite of mine .  A deep metallic purple.  Purple are my favourites what can I say but this shade is out of its world.  Its pigmented easy to blend and amazing :) :)
  • Unleash:  Oh wow if you are a fan of blues this is a shade and a half for you.  This is a stunning metallicy ink blue so bright and fabulous and amazingly pigmented
  • Choas:  Yet another amazingly pigmented and fabulous shade a deep emerald that will be perfect to used on the lid and as a liner.  Love it
  • Wicked:  A Deep metallic Grey again very pigmented very easy to blend and oh so gorgeous for a night out :)
Unfortunately I didnt get a swatch of the eyeliner itself as I broke the nib of it the day I was taking the pictures but its literally a simple black kohl pencil.  Its very very creamy and perfect for using as a base for any of the shades especially applying either Icon Unleashed or Choas over it wow the shades are amazing :) :)
And here is the swatches :) both in Sunlight (1st picture" and in normal light  CLICK ON THE PHOTOS FOR A CLOSER LOOK :) :)

I have no primer or base under these swatches just to show you how amazing pigmented each shade is :)
Over all I am totally amazed by this palette.  I absolutely love the shades and I think anyone who loves smokey eye looks will love it too.  I am telling you now if you haven't already bought or ordered this I high advise you do because you will love it :)  Another 10/10 mark for MUA :) :)  What more is after I had bought this palette I stumbled apon a blog post by one of my favourite Irish bloggers Cherry Sue comparing This brilliant palette to Urban Decay's Smoked Palette and wow each eye-shadow is the exact dupe of UD's Smoked Palette EXACT Check it out yourself :) Bet I have raised an eyebrow or two now eh ?? lol

Here is a look i created playing with the shadows for just an everyday look in the photo I used the shades :  Glory, bourdoir for blending and highlighting,   I used Ghost all over the lid,  I used Broken on the outer 1/3 of the lid and blended inwards,  I used Fantasy in the crease for definition and used a little of Mythical on the outer V I loved the finish and of course wore this look for 3 days solid :)
The camera washed out some of the shades but you can get an idea of what it looks like and how pigmented these shadows are.  With Urban Decay primer potion underneath there was no budging these shadows all day not a smudge love it :)

Well thats it everyone thats my rave over with well on this blog post anyway lol :)  Have you tried this Palette yet?
Until Next Time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

Catrice Intensif'eye Wet & Dry Shadow

Hello My beauties how are you all today :) :) Gosh since the kiddies went back to school I thought I would have more time on my hands but in fact I dont Its crazy from 6.30 am I am rushing and racing around until 9 am getting kids ready for school by the time I get home and clean up and do my bits its time to pick the twinnies up from playschool cook dinner and do homework with the older ones the day disappears before I know it, but hey once we get a routine going it will be fine :) :)
So today I have a Catrice Review for you all.  You may remember me showing you eyeshadows like this before if not Let me refresh your memory :) Click here to see one of my limited edition posts where I bought 4 of these eyeshadows in different shades.  In fact these eyeshadows were in fact supposed to be Limited Edition when they were first released in March 2012 but I think they just decided to keep them as a permanent range after that :) :)
Happy Days :) because these eyeshadows are definately worth been put on the permanent range for sure :) :)
I have every one of the shades now to my delight :)  There are now 6 shades to choose from and you will see the other 4 shades in my previous review in the link above :)

I love the packaging on these eyeshadows.  The packaging is clear so you can see the eyeshadows very clearly.  What i like is the writing is done in hologram which make it look more appealing and less cheapish.  Plus the lid is secure and not loose like you can get from some affordable brands :)

I got 2 more shades which completes my collection until they (i hope) bring in more :)

Ninja Purples:  This is is Stunning and if you love your purples you will love this.   Ninja Purples is a stunning purple with lines of pink and black shades going through it :)   This shade of course is shimmer when swatched dry but looks amazing.  It also looks satin when swatched wet.  I cant believe how pigmented this shade is and is very ideal for that dark smokey eye look :) There is plenty of ways you can wear this shadow.  Either on its own over a primer of course, Wet or even over a black base and I also like to you this as a liner too :)

Glamourose:  This shade is also stunning its a beautiful creamy shade with lines of pink going through it.  Again this is another shimmer shadow and again very pigmented.  When swatched this shade is a fabulous baby pink that works great for a lid colour or even on the inner corners for instant brightness.  I do find that applying this shadow wet shows its true potential but you can also use this dry on an everyday day to make yourself look more awake :)

I found these shadows so easy to apply and easy to blend.  They feel like silk against the skin as all baked shadows do and a little goes a long long way.  For less than €5 each they are well worth having in your collection :) :)
Have you tried these yet ?
Until Next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara

Well Hellllloooooo Everyone How are you all today?  Wow the weather is vigorously change its crazy how cold its got in recent day and to be honest its looking like we are going to have a hard cold winter :(
We may start getting the winter woolies out and of course start shopping for new ones ;) Any excuse to go shopping eh ladies :)
Ok so today I bring you yet another Rimmel review as you have probably seen from my last review I reviewed the latest Rimmel Scandaleyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner that was only released in recent months.   Well I just had to pick up their newest Mascara which was released at the same time.
I was hoping I would get a better outcome from this than what i got from the eye-liner to be honest so if you want to find out if I did or didn't read on :) :)
Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Retro Glam Mascara - The 60s are back full swing with a thicker, fuller, wide-eyed look! A wide-eyed false lash look, fanned out volume with NO clumps!
Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara is available at superdrug Boots or any pharmacy who sell Rimmel.  I actually found this mascara to be a very reasonable and affordable price at €8.65 each for 12mls.

If you are a fan of the 60s retro makeup looks you will be just as curious as me to see if this gives you the full voluptuous lashes they had in the 60s.  I couldnt wait to try it out.  The Packaging is true retro style with its black and white design love it :)
You may notice the want is an hour glass shape which is suppose to help achieve fuller longer lashes.  Some people fear of the giant brush even I do sometimes especially when i have created a look on my eyes that I do not want ruined lol.  I do find this brush a little big but it fits perfectly for my lashes and I can instantly see and feel each and every lash been grabbed my the brush.

On the first application I could instantly see how black the mascara is it actually amazed me to be honest as its not often you get instant jet black lashes on the first coat.  I tried this without curling my lashes which is something I never do as I have stubborn straight lashes.  I noticed an instant curl also on the first coat.  I was very very impressed :)
Ok i am going to show you a photo with me wearing not makeup ok so dont get a fright and it will also explain why im not smiling hahaha  but I have applied one coat of this mascara on to show you the instant curl and blackness you will get

The formula on this mascara is very impressive i have to say normally when you first apply an mascara it can be nearly too wet and take some time to dry but with this one yes it is moist but not as much.  I did also find I made a little mess as you see in the photo and that can be hard for first timers but simply use a card of any sort place it on your lid and whip on the mascara mess free thats what I tend to do when I have a full look going on :)
I found 2 coats to be more than enough to create amazing looking lashes and I am happy to report no clumping, no flaking and no smudging :) :)  I have even been caught out in pouring rain as it is typical in Ireland lol and I found no smearing or panda eyes as a result.  :) Happy Days :)
Here is a look I done recently using the mascara and as you can see it shows amazing results

So overall as you can tell at this stage I really like this mascara and it gets a Nina's Thumbs up Well done Rimmel :) :
Have you tried this mascara yet?
What's your thoughts on it :)
Until next time
Lots of Love Luck and Laughter
