NYX Xtreme Lip Cream Vs NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

Hey Lovelies :)  How are you all doing :) 

Yesterday I Reviewed the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams which i have had a long time now and love.  Today I am reviewing the NYX Xtreme Lip Creams but I am doing it a little different as you can probably tell by the title.  I'm sure alot of you out there like myself when these Xtreme Lip creams came out wondered what the difference was between these and the Matte Soft Lip creams.  I even put myself off buying them because i thought "awww there is probably no difference" but curiosity got the better of me as it does with a beauty guru lol 

So I will go ahead with my review & Comparison 

The reason i have two pictures is in fact that i lost one of the lips creams while taking photos but then came across it after so i have in fact 4 shades to show you :) 

So a year after the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams were released NYX decided to release these little beauties :) 

There is 11 shades to choose from and they Cost around $6 each which is exactly the same as the Soft matte lip creams.  

NYX state:  Beautify your lips with this velvety rich lip cream that provides extreme pigmentation with a silky and glossy finish. This lip cream is a hybrid of lipstick, lip gloss, and lip stain with intense pigmentation all in one.

The Packaging 

The packaging even though looks very like the soft matte lip creams is a tiny bit different as you will see in the next photo 

As you can see the Xtreme Lip cream is smaller and skinnier which is a little disappointing as its the same price.  Also the lid of the soft matte lip cream is matte and the Xtreme Lip cream is shiny so you can tell the difference of which ones which by that.  

They both come with a doe foot applicator which i love as its easier to apply that way . 

The Formula 

There is only really one difference between them and that is the Soft matte lip creams are obviously Matte and the Xtreme Lip Creams are a little glossy so you are getting a lipstick, lip-gloss and lip stain out of the Xtreme :)  The pigmentation is roughly the same even though i found i got a little more pay off from the Xtreme lip creams perhaps its because they are are creamier and glossier and easier to apply

The scent 

I did find a difference in the scent i have to be honest.  The Soft matte lip creams smell lovely they have a sort of vanilla scent not sickly just nice but the Xtreme Lip Creams i am afraid i dont care too much for.  They sort of smell cosmeticy which i hate in a lip product but dont be put off by that as its not strong and does not linger thank goodness 

The Swatches 

Candy Land:  This is a stunning soft medium pink I love this shade I wore this the most out of the 4 shades its just so pretty on great for the summer time.  

Buttery Nude:  This is a lovely everyday wear lippie :)  its a Coral/pink shade with brown undertones.  This is a good strong pigmented shade and only needs a little amount to show its true potential :) 

Pinky Nude:  I dont know what it is about pinks but i have been loving them alot especially in the summer i wore them none stop and every time i wore them people always complimented me on them especially when wearing this shade :)  This is more of a cool toned pink this would suit any skin tone I love it 

Nude Peach Fuzz:  I actually was a little sceptic of this shade because when picking it out i thought maybe i made the wrong decision.  I thought it might make me look a little sickly.  I was wrong so wrong this is a stunning peach shade with pink undertones :) I am not fond of pure peachy toned lip shades but this is not an overpowering peach its stunning I love wearing this with a dark smokey eye

I have found i do not have to wear a balm before using these which is a bonus.  I can honestly say I love these they last 5-6 hours depending on eating and drinking the more pigmented stronger shades leave a sort of stain on the lips so if you decide to wear these out in the town there is no fear about touching up your lippy every hour.  To be honest i love both the Matte Lip Creams and the Xtreme Lip Creams but there is a little more of a love for the Xtreme as they are a little more moist and i can see myself wearing these more in the winter than the Matte.  Top mark to NYX again :) :) Amazing value for amazing products :)

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Review

Hey my Beauties How are you all doing :) 

Todays post is on my little collection of NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams I have owned for quite a while now :) 

You all have probably seen a serious amount of reviews about these especially around the time they were first released which was around Spring of last year but in my eyes there is never too many reviews about something as its nice to know different peoples opinions :) 

The one thing i love about NYX is that its available from alot of online sites not just one or two so there are different price ranges.  Originally these cost about $6 each but there is a couple of ebay stores who do bulk sales on NYX in which i will put links at the end of the blog post for you :) 

These lip creams were actually the first ever Matte lip product i ever tried imagine and I was more excited about that.  

There are 11 shades available and even with just 11 shade i found it hard to choose which shades to get lol awwww decisions decisions.  Lets talk a little about the packaging first.  You are getting a sturdy plastic tube with a black lid.  Each tube is different colour actually to represent the actually shade it is.  I love the writing all around it and love the way it is not going to fade away like some products you get.  

Dont be fooled by the packaging as its very familiar to a lip gloss even the doe-foot applicator is like what you would get from a lip gloss but believe me they are not a gloss :) 

On the front of the packaging it says :) 

It's not a lipstick nor is it a gloss It's like nothing you have ever experienced before.  It's lipstick cream that goes on silky but looks soft matte.

I was pleasantly by the formula on these.  When i first swatched these i though holy moly this is thick and very very pigmented.  They look like a light weight moose that you would eat :) :)  The cream is so creamy that even the amount which comes out on the doe-foot can be too much for your lips.  I mean the amount that come off could actually two people.  These glide on so so nicely and feels like butter on the lips.  I can not believe the amount of pigmentation that you get from each one of these its incredible.  

so onto the shades 

Stockholm:  This is a lovely pinky brown shade its a perfect nude.  Its a perfect MLBB cream I love this as an every day shade :)

Next

Antwerp:  This is one of the popular shades :)  This is a lovely pinky coral shade it really compliments my skintone.  I loved this shade in the summer and still do its a lovely way of brightening up your lips

Next up is 

San Paulo:  I knew this would be a shade i would love and wear on a regular basis.  This is a stunning rosy pink a deep cool toned shade.  Its stunning against my warm toned skin.  I actually got alot of compliments wearing this.  

And Lastly 

Milan:  This is another stunning shade.  Its another rosy pink but brighter than San Paulo and more pinker :) I really like this shade too and is perfect for everyday wear.  

I was actually surprised by these little beauties.  The fact that they are matte you would think that they would be very drying when in fact they feel moisturising.  Now not your typical moisturising lipstick but you wont find that your lips are crying out for hydration haha.  If your lips are particularly very dry well then thats when you will find them soaking into every line and all you have to do is apply a lip balm under the lip cream like i did in the above picture the "Milan lip swatch".  I found they lasted a good 3-4 hour before i notice them fading but if you are eating or drinking they will fade a good bit. The fact that these lip creams are thick and very pigmented i do highly recommend bringing a compact mirror with you to apply as you might need to blend out some of the more darker shades.  I want to try out more shade like maybe more darker shade because i can guess that they would last even longer 

I highly recommend these to anyone who wants to try something different to their usual lipsticks and glosses.  These lip creams are brilliant to give you that matte effect but not leave your lips feel parched 

For the price they are well worth it and will last for ages because a little goes a long way

Collection 2000 Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Cream Review

Hey my beauties how are you all doing today :) 

Well after getting over a few days of not feeling so good i am now feeling better enough to start at least blogging again.  The making videos part will have to wait another couple of days but the more i wait the more video ideas is on my list lol but hey its better than having nothing :) 

So if you read my last review on the Collection 2000 Shimmer Shades Blush you would have read that i got 3 items in my haul in which i decided to review separately so this is the 2nd one of my purchases The Collection 2000 Cream Puff Lip Cream.  I always wanted to try these as they remind me a little of the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream and i wanted to see were they the same or near it as i do like the Nyx ones in which i will be reviewing very soon 

What Collection 2000 say:

I purchased this in boots for the low price of 4 euro but price can vary some places do them cheaper and you are getting 5mls of product for that price.  Now as far as i know there are only 4 shades available in these lip creams there is 

Cotton Candy 

Powder Puff 

Fairy Cake (which is what i got)

Angel delight 

Even though I stood at the stall for what seemed like forever to decide which one i wanted "fairy cake" stood out to me more.  After all I was choosing shades from this brand that would be suitable for the Spring/Summer time.  

Fairy Cake is a beautiful warm coral pink shade 

The formula actually surprised me.  The consistency is thick but not too thick a little goes a long way.  It feels extremely soft and creamy on the lips.  I have found if you apply with the wand it will appear streaky on the lips so what i do is simply even it out with my little finger.  "Fairy Cake" is so pigmented and i can tell this tube will last me a long time.  Now i know what you are thinking your think "but its matte will it not make my lips drier or soak into my dry lines" the answer is no it doesnt soak into the lines at all i have even applied this when i was suffering dry lips i just put a little bit of chap stick on my lips and applied as normal.  When applied feel nothing like they look from the tube it feels really light and the lasting power is amazing i have found this shade has lasted as long as 3 to 4 hours before i even top up a little.  If you suffer with dry lips they might not last as long :)  The scent of these are lovely its not overpowering and you kind of get the scent of vanilla sweets of it but it doesnt last long on the lips if you dont like that. 

So have you tried these out? If not i would highly recommend them i will surely go out of my way to purchase the other shades for the price they are you are getting more than what you are paying for.  :) :) They are definitely the cheap version of Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams my good friend Dyna has even done a comparison review so check hers out If you want :) :)
