Wet N Wild 8 Pan Palette "Blue Had me at Hello"

Hey my beauties :)
Today i have another Wet N Wild Review
This time its an 8 Pan Eyeshadow Palette
"Blue Had Me at Hello"
I did mention in my video that i thought there was 4 8 pan palettes available from wet n wild but there is actually only 3 available.
All 8 pan palettes have
2 browbone/highlight shades
2 lid shades
2 crease shades
2 Definer shades
and they each cost $5 each which is the same price as the 6 pan palettes.
Blue had me at hello is a cool toned palette containing Silvers/blues/blacks
Starting with your left side you are getting:
  • A shimmery off silver shade not the highest of pigmentation but perfect for tear duct
  • A very pigmented silver with a bluish undertone
  • A dark navy with light blue sparkle bits almost looks black in photos
  • A matte black which is perfect for multi-use
Then on the Right side you are getting:
  • A baby blue which is fine on the lid i dont really know about using it as a browbone shade.  I wouldnt use it on the browbone but other people might
  • A nice green/blus shade with a metallic finish
  • A fab deep blue with shimmer
  • A matte black with silver shimmer

I find this palette is well worth purchasing as i said in my video i will certainly be purchasing the other 2 palettes.  These eyeshadows really shocked with with the texture, pigmentation and quality.  For $5 thats more than worth it.  If used with a primer these eyeshadows will last all day and well into the night.  They are amazing and you dont need to keep dipping your brush into the eyeshadow to build them up either.  The only eyeshadows i would say are not as pigmented would be the silver browbone and maybe the matte black and the black with silver shimmer but again you would only need to dip your brush a couple time more than the rest of the shades.

So thats it everyone thats my review on this fantastic palette.  Keep an eye out for reviews on the other 8 pan eyeshadow palettes i have ordered and waiting on.  They will be up in the near future.
I hope you enjoyed my review.  If you have any questions please ask away and comment below i love getting your lovely comments :)
until next time

Wet N Wild 6 Pan Palette Review

Hey my beautiful, fabulous, brilliant friends how are you all doing.  Today i am reviewing the Wet N Wild 6 pan Palettes i own.  As you can see i own 2 of them and there are 4 different 6 pan palettes to choose from.  I got these off the NonPareil boutique website about a year ago.  The reason why i am reviewing these in particular is that i actually came across site that stated Wet N Wild decided to discontinue them at the end of 2011 :O.  I was like WHAAT why ?????
I was totally shocked and i will tell and show you why in my review.
Now if you are in the Beauty blogging world you will know what Wet N Wild range is but for those of you who dont know this brand is an extremely affordable makeup brand which is actually an American brand.  More to the Pity Wet N Wild do not have an online website :( but there is one site i did find them on who sell and ship internationally which is NonPareil site.  This brand is extremely popular in America by many beauty gurus especially the eyeshadow palettes and i have to admit i understand why.  I should have really reviewed these palettes before now but to be honest i had them that long i actually did not realise i didnt.
I bet you are wondering "why is she reviewing them now when they are been discontinued" well they are actually still available to buy on that site i bought them from plus they are still available on ebay so i say if you like the look of them GET THEM NOW you wont regret it!!!!
Here I go again yapping sorry lol when i start i find it hard to stop so on with the review :)
Lets talk a little about the packaging first.  As you can see the packaging doesnt exactly say you have spend alot of money on this product but its sturdy and the lid once closed its closed tightly so you have no fear of it breaking.  You dont get a mirror with the palettes but to be honest thats not an issue either.  You get two little brushes in this palette which i never use but for people who dont own brushes these are handy as you are getting an ordinary sponge tip brush and then a little sort of blending brush.  But for the price which is $5 for this palette the brushes is certainly not an issue.
The product itself is well worth the money you are getting 6 fairly good sized eyeshadows for $5/€4/£3 each so that works out about 60cent per eyeshadow wow amazing right?
This is Lust My favourite out of the two if you know me you know I love purple eyeshadows :)
As mentioned already you are getting 6 eyeshadows in total.  The left side is all matte and the right is shimmery.  I love the idea of this as its great for day time and then you can jazz up the day time look with a night time look from the right side
Starting from the left side which is all matte you are getting
  1. A creamy light pink shade which is perfect for the brow bone or as a highlight
  2. Medium Plum
  3. A blackened Burgundy shade but when swatched it does look more black on the pictures but in person you can see the burgundy undertone to it this is said to be a dupe of Macs Sketch

The right side is the shimmery side
  1. A Cream shade with shimmer not exactly a favourite for the browbone but works for a highlight is also supposed to be a dupe of Mac Vanilla
  2. A Gunmetal shade with bluish and purple undertone to it also suppose to be a dupe to Macs Beauty Marked
  3. A Deep Purple but looks more black on the photos has a purple shimmer to it and is a little on the chalky side

Introducing "Pride" :) this again has 6 eyeshadows.  On the left is 3 Matte and on the right is 3 shimmery :)
Now if you love greens and blues you will certainly love this.  Normally i wouldnt go for blues too often but this palette was really calling out to me.  I loved the whole idea of green an blue together and im glad now i have it.
Starting from the left side which is all matte you are getting
  1. A Very Pigmented Matte White shade perfect for highlighting the brownbone
  2. A medium green-teal not as pigmented as the white but still pigmented enough be careful not to over blend with this shade as you can make it fade away
  3. A dark Matte Navy shade very pigmented and beautiful
The right side is the shimmery side
  1. A shimmery white which i wouldnt really use on the browbone but this is perfect to highlight the inner corners of your eyes
  2. A Medium- dark metallic mint green boy i love this shade its fantastic
  3. A Dark Navy with a shimmery finish this is said to be the exact dupe of Macs Deep Truth beautiful shade i love it
My overall opinion
Well what can i say these palette surely did surprise me in a good way.  I am definitely going to purchase the other two palettes in this collection before they are gone forever.  These eyeshadows are extremely pigmented for the price and very soft and creamy to touch.  One word of advice is when using these use them gently as the slightest touch with the brush is all you need.  I love them and i can assure you that you will love them too.  These shadows with a primer last literally all day long which is an extra bonus.  So if you have not got these already grab them while you can :) :)

Essence Quattro Eyeshadow in Over the Taupe Review

Hey everyone I hope you are all well
Todays review is an over due one to be honest as i have has this little palette of joy for a good month now.  I actually posted up a picture on my Facebook Page last week of a look i done with this palette just this palette alone and quite a few of you liked it well this my beauties is the palette from Essence i used.  I think anyone loves a nice neutral look or even a nice neutral palette they can use on an everyday basis.  Well this palette here is ideal
the Essence Quattro Eyeshadow Palette in "Over the Taupe" (cute name)
This only cost me €3.49 which is super cheap for 4 shades.  I must admit i was unsure about the pigmentation because the worst thing was that there was no samples to swatch before buying it so i had to take the risk and that is why i only bought one.  To my recollection i think there is 4 different shades of these palettes.
The packaging on this is actually ok for the price but i can imagine if you are not careful the lid can easily break because its not exactly sturdy but its not too loose either.  As i said above you are getting 4 different shades
The first shade is perfect for the brow bone or blending out any harsh lines - this is a lovely cream slightly frost finish its a little lighter than my skin tone but does nothing for the inner corner.
The second shade is a nice greyish taupe shade this is perfect for the lid its bright enough to make your eyes look bright and awake.
The third shade is more of a medium taupe with a little shimmer to it this is perfect for the crease for a bit of definition
Lastly is the forth shade with is obviously a dark almost blackish taupe with a slight bit of gold shimmer to it which is perfect for the outer V of the eye perfect for that smokey effect and even perfect for a light eyeliner if you didnt want to use a strong one :) :)
These swatches are very pigmented which was a huge shock to me to be honest but a pleasant shock might i add and the swatches are made with no primer underneath just to show how good this palette actually is.  I do advise if you use this palette to use with a primer or a good eyeshadow base and they will last all day long.  I love using this for a day time smokey look which would be light but noticeable.  I thin for the price this is definitely worth getting and i am definitely going to try more of these in different shades :) :)

This was the look i posted up on facebook its just a light smokey eye for daytime using this palette.
I even used the darkest colour in this palette as an eyeliner which stayed put all day :) not bad for €3.49 eh?
Have you tried these Quattro's yet which one have you tried?
I hope you enjoyed this review :)
Until next time Take Care

MUA (Makeup Academy) Out there Plumping Lip gloss Review

Hey everyone how are you all doing?
Today i am Reviewing the New MUA Out there Plumping Lip glosses which were released on the MUA site in November '11.  I purchased these around christmas time and was super excited along with many MUA lovers out there to try them.  I ended up purchasing two shades.
MUA States:  Make a statement this season with these pout perfect plumping lip glosses. Follow the catwalk craze by keeping your make up neutral and pop those lips with these pout pleasing products from MUA Professional. Whether you’re after a bold Shocking Pink, bang on trend Sienna tangerine tone or cotton Candy Pink hue; these seven sensational shades cover the looks for less this season. Each sensuous shade contains maxi lip© plumping agents for a natural looking pout with a non sticky formula

Now i have a slight fasination with lip glosses and the main reason i went for these was because it was a new gloss and the look of the shades.  There are 8 shades available on the site and they cost an amazing £2 each.  The Packaging is pretty cute too is a simple plastic very skinny tube of lipgloss and quite handy for any sized handbag with is an up of this gloss.
The applicator is quite nice its a a doe-foot applicator which makes applying the gloss so much handier and evenly.  I like applicators like this :) It picks up just enough product to cover your lips which is also an upside for me.
As i said above i got 2 shades "Sienna" & "Buff".
Sienna:  As you will see by the swatches is a beautiful orange/coral shade very pigmented on swatches and nicely pigmented on the lips
Buff:  This is a lovely medium brown shade on the swatches and on the lips is a beautiful nude brown .
Another plus side of these glosses is that they are not at all sticky or gloopy.  They are water based but last for some time on the lips.  The fact that they are water based means instantly the minute you apply them on your lips it will give the illusion that your lips are plumper looking.  The fact you get a beautiful tint with these is great as they are pigmented enough to wear on its own.
Sienna & Buff
Normally i can wear plumping lipglosses and 9 times out of 10 they dont really annoy me.  The tingling or minty feeling on my lips feel quite good normally.  With these glosses you dont get a tingling feel as such but more of a burning sensation.  The burning sensation isnt exactly strong and does wear off after about 5 minutes.  I didnt like it to be honest i found the burning sensation a little distracting and annoying even though it did eventually wear off but it did put me off these.  If you dont mind that well go ahead and buy these because they are worth it the colours are amazing (as i googled some of the other colours swatches) but i just personally didnt like the feeling of these its not even that i would put up with it but to be honest to go through that and have no visable plumping effect its kind of a waste of time.
As i said its just what i experienced and i have found alot of reviews that were all good about them.  Alot of people dont mind the burning sensation but me no i didnt like it and in fact will be giving these away to someone who will like them, but as you can see by my review that is the only downside i have more pluses than minuses about these :)
Sienna
Buff
Overall for the price of these glosses they are worth buying if you dont mind that sensation.  You are getting a non sticky lipgloss, that tints your lips enough to pass for a sheer lipstick.  Also it lasts for a good couple of hours before you have to reapply.  Plus you dont get any cosmetic scent from it.
So thats it everyone.  I hope you found this review helpful
Until Next time
